An excellent place to stay to explore Rome and the surrounding towns. Our room was well maintained and the bed is really comfy. It's located right near a metro station that is only a few stops away from Termini, and you are within a couple of miles of all the major sites. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a holiday in and around Rome.

Great service from Hilaria and Luca at the front desk who were always cheerful and helpful and worked long hours! They immediately fixed a small issue with our room and also set us up with an excellent driver to the airport. Room was pleasant and comfortable; good shower :) breakfast also good. We found the location excellent for exploring the city; we walked to all the major sights from the hotel and there are lots of great restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

Location of the hotel was great for exploring Rome. The staff on the desk were friendly and available for most of the day. Room decor was fine but showing signs of wear and tear. Bathroom wasn’t well-ventilated and shower had poor drainage. Our main issues were noise levels in the hotel. We could hear people very clearly in the next room and from around 8am onwards the noise in the halls and from the breakfast area were really loud. Don’t stay here if you enjoy a lie in! There was also scaffolding outside our room blocking all light and we saw workers moving along the scaffolding directly outside the room throughout the day.

Small hotel of 42 rooms, rooms were large and spacious. The front desk staff were super helpful with helping me with dealing getting my lost luggage and getting it back to the right place.
A bigger and brighter address sign would be super helpful. We arrived early on a dark rainy night and took us a few minutes to find the doorway to the hotel.

Everything was quaint and the location is great. We had a leaky faucet that was a little loud the entire trip but other than that everything was great. I would keep in mind the building is right next to a construction site, but we could not heat anything and it did not bother us. Would stay again!

We had stayed at the property 9 years ago when it was brand new. The property could use a coat of fresh paint but overall still offers great value and excellent customer service.

Great stay at Residenza Flaminio Gaio. Hotel was very clean and staff were very helpful. It’s in a prime location situation just near Villa Borghese & Piazza Del Popolo, easy access to several bus & metro routes which can take you all over Rome. Vatican City & Castel Sant’Angelo are around 25-30 minute, Trevi fountain/pantheon are 25 minute walk. Taxi to Rome Fiumicino booked at reception is a fixed €65.00. Would happily stay here again returning to Rome.

Front desk was super nice! Rooms need to be updated especially the shower, seems to have some mold. Location was great. Be aware there is NO free parking. It’s 35 euros a day although it mentions parking available with no dollar sign under hotel info.

Check in was easy and smooth. No elevator but front desk carried our bags up. Room was small and beds were clean. The shower needs a serious update. Dirty stained caulk along bottom, doors loud, the rack to hold bottles and soap is a joke everything falls through. Wouldn’t pay the rate if getting a nice shower after a long day of walking or traveling is important to you.

There is no soundproofing on the bedrooms so you can hear everyone coming and going/ in their rooms ect so it is very dificult to sleep. You are also getting alot of noise from the street outside. I think it was also a very high cost for what it was, i would recommended getting a nice hotel further outside of Rome for half the cost and getting public transport in each day.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful in assisting ordering taxi and transfers. Unfortunately, the walls were extremely thin and full conversations could be heard. The last night the people across the hall screamed for over an hour which facilitated very poor sleep. Location is great for access to Plaza de Popolo. Keep in mind that if getting a hoho bus the closest stop is 23 mins away. You can walk to the coliseum in 30 mins from the hotel though!

1. This property is not well maintained.
* Hallway carpets are old and soiled
* Bathroom shower frames are not kept clean and have visible mold, rust and calcification.
* Inside the toilet bowl is black and disgusting.
2. The continental breakfast is not served buffet style as it’s customary or as advertised in the photos. There were display counters but they were empty. We were given a paper menu and a pencil to circle our choices and write the quantities we want. Our selections were presented quickly but if we wanted anything else, it was very difficult to get a hold of the server as he stayed in the pantry area all the time.
3. The photos are very misleading. The owners of this property used photos to display a property that does not exist at Via Gian Domenico Romagnosi 1. I say this literally because some of the photos belong to another property!!!!!!! Advertised as Luxury studios and scattered among photos of the “actual” property are very misleading photos that lead the traveler (in this case me) to believe these accommodations are available at this property and somehow the style is similar from room to room; when in fact, these rooms are in a completely different property quite a distance away (not walking distance if you have luggage) in a different neighborhood.

Service was amazing! We were well taken care of and they gave us local recommendations for food that were incredible. There were nine of us in our party and we took 5 of the 14 rooms! The location is amazing! Very walkable to many areas! And the croissants at breakfast….YUM!!!

This is not a Luxury accommodation as advertised and verges on miss- selling.
The rooms were clean but the reception was poor and the carpets were thread bare. Its an apartment conversion and poorly done especially with regards to sound proofing which is non existent. You can hear everything from next door and you might as well have your neighbours showering in your room its that noisy.
There were no tea or coffee making facilities and towels were cheap.
I hate to say it but its like a poor mans premier inn and for £250 a night its expensive.

This was the perfect hotel for us! We were in Rome before flying home, and it was in such a convenient location to every major landmark! It made walking and transportation to and from the airport a breeze! The rooms were clean, beds (even the pull out couch) were comfortable and we were able to have 3-4 adults with no problem. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and organized a transport to the airport for us! I would highly recommend!

I stayed for about 9 days and enjoyed this luxury boutique hotel. It's not a typical hotel venue but has its own charm. The staff at the reception, dining room and housekeeping department were all very friendly and helpful. They were responsive to our needs. The room is spacious enough considering this sits in the center of the city Rome. I'm very satisifed with the bedding and pillows, which are clean, well kept and comfortable. A delightful surprise was the sparkling bottled water and free tea and coffee pot they provided and replenished each day. It would be a perfect 10 score if the glass shower door could be a bit more updated and remodeled. Otherwise, it was a delightful and comfortable stay overall.

Hotel located right next to Piazza del Popolo so was about a 20-30 min walk to furthest key attractions which was ideal! It is just outside of the centre which means you don’t get the flat rate taxi fare of €50 from airport.
Staff on reception at the hotel were very friendly and helpful throughout our trip. Room was modern and well decorated and had everything we needed. Only comment was that it felt like the floor probably could have done with a mop/wipe as was a bit dirty when not walking round with the slippers that were provided.

This is a brand new, beautifully decorated suite. It’s on a quiet street right off the main shopping street. All of the city’s sites are within walking distance. The location is truly the best of all worlds - quiet, yet right in the middle of everything. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby as well. The room is a little smaller than it looked in the photos.

The hotel is on a side street but that made it special. The neighborhood was quiet. Hotel staff, especially Andre was very helpful and helped us to get the correct train when we had to go to certain places. He even recommended places we could get our meals. When we asked to move from our room to another room, he was quite helpful in granting our request. Aka in all, I would stay again if I get another opportunity to do so!

The hotel is very close to many areas you will want to see and walk too. But this is not a 9.0 rating hotel, i would say it is a 7. it is not bad but you can see the age in the entrance and the carpets are very old. There is no elevator that was a huge bummer. The front desk people will help with the bags but after walking 15k steps daily walking up those steps sucks. I would say it is a ok hotel for a couple for a few nights, not a family.

Our stay in this hotel was convenient and spacious. We were 3 minutes away from Piazza di Popolo- away from so much noise. The outside of the hotel was very subtle that we did not recognize at it first. It is not handicap friendly since there is no elevator but it is very very much safe, you need your key to unlock the front door.

I returned to this hotel because I remember being happy here. Due to the pandemic, the wonderful staff from last year currently isn't on site, however, they reached out by text, and even sent over a bottle of organic wine.
This is a place that's dedicated to providing good service, and treating guests well. There is still a friendly staff member here daily, who will bring a lovely breakfast tray to your room in the morning, and handle requests or questions.
The bed is wonderful, and I mean top quality, next level comfort. Bedding includes good linens and a fluffy comforter. Everything smells fresh and clean, including the comforter and pillows (which at other hotels, sometimes bear the scent of the previous guests).
I travel extensively and have noticed that at other hotels, although the sheets look clean, they sometimes make my skin itch. Never at this hotel. Here, the towels and bedding are always clean and properly sanitized, so you'll feel great sleeping here.
This place is a 3 minute walk to Piazza del Popolo, 15-20 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps, and 35 minutes to the Vatican. It's a nice area to walk, so time flies quickly.
There's a good supermarket about 2 blocks away. And the neighborhood feels safe at night.

Excellent stay. Good communication before we arrived due to late check in inquiries. Room exceeded expectation. Reception staff always friendly and helpful.
Only tiny issues was as our room faced out front there was occasional traffic noise when trying to sleep. Also only one glass in room to have a drink despite there being a little fridge.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay, in Rome, @ Residenza Florina Guio. The hotel was quiet, and well maintained. Liked the bathroom, nice big sink, and place to hang towels, and an area on the deep tiled windowsill to place our toiletries. There is some closet space, and desk surface also. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay convenient and enjoyable. Food buffet in the AM was OK, not much GF selection. The only thing I didn’t care for was the bed, and the heavy curtains. Very good location!😊

Our room for 2 adults and 2 children was so cramped. The bed was horrendous. Hard as a brick! Breakfast not included. The location was ok. Not quite central enough to walk to all the sights. It is a quieter location, nice neighborhood, just across from Piazza de Popolo and the Borghese Gardens.

Had a wonderful start to our holiday in Rome at our hotel Residenza Flamino Gaio. We ended up taking a taxi there from the train as the metro line was down. This took us right to the door, so it was easy to find. Located on a quiet side street. It does have a clearly marked sign above the entrance but you are walking into what appears to be a row of buildings; not a hotel entrance. Once inside we were greeted by Claudio. He was absolutely fantastic in sailing us through check in, orienting us to the area and offering suggestions on making our stay better. The room was clean and perfect for our family of four with two teenage girls. Very quiet at night and always felt very safe. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! With freshly baked croissants and cappuccino to order. 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps and then easy walking to all the popular tourist sites. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much!!!
