I stayed in room 1. The room and bathroom are spacious. The entire property was very clean. Great location, very close to the Metro station. The owner was very friendly and available for questions.

Basic B&B right in the heart of beautiful Rome

The pros to this B&B are the friendly owners and its central location. The Piazza Del Popolo is beautiful and you can access most tourist attractions by foot (or taxi)! Being a family of 4, we booked a family room and whilst it was comfortable enough, we didn’t have enough space given we were here for 5 nights. The breakfast provided is simple but you are given a shelf in the fridge which you can stock with your own things from local supermarkets. Just watch that other guests don’t help themselves to your things .. we experienced this :-( The room itself was more than adequate but it is dated, as is the en suite bathroom. The toilet makes a loud banging noise too when flushed!!

One big tip for anyone visiting, download and use the ‘Freenow’ app for booking taxis. Having this app made our lives much easier to get to the attractions that are further afield as well as the Termini for our outbound coach back to the airport!

This property was PERFECT. The co-owner/manager speaks excellent English and was a pleasure to deal with. We have a large family with children, and we felt immediately at home. The location is SUPREME. There are multiple places to get morning food and caffes, and a perfect high end mini-supermarket. It is located in municipality one, literally a five minute walk to the grand piazza populo. A normal healthy person will be in the heart of the classiest shopping area in Roma in under ten, casual paced minutes. We walked to Vatican City with all the kids. Very doable. Once here, you don't need a car. The 2 bedroom apartment we rented could easily house a family of 7 or 8. The apartment has cooking, and is outfitted with everything you would need to cook including a superior espresso machine. It is modestly furnished. The feeling you get is one of a simple home rather than fake luxury. Clean bathrooms. Clean sheets, and nice beds. Neighbors were almost non existent. This is not the place to rent for crazy parties. Actual professionals and owners live in the complex. If you act as though you live here, and are a respectful neighbor, you will be treated as such. It smelled and looked like my german grandfather's apartment in Berlin. Magical. I consider the owner a friend, now, and I pray his business expands. All bed and breakfasts should be this nice. He does not interfere, and once you are settled he leaves you alone. I am scared to write a good review because I want to come back!

I loved the location and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They helped arrange pick up at airport and were very attentive to all our needs despite being a big family. Definitely would stay again. I loved the vintage vibes and the bathrooms were very clean. The only thing I’d suggest is new bed comforters and blankets because they were a little worn out. Other than that, great bed and breakfast.

Great B&B convenient to everything.

We had a great time at this B&B. Alessio was very welcoming and accommodating. He picked us up at the airport for less than taxi or Uber fare, and allowed us to have a late check-out to accommodate our schedule out of town. Gave great advice about sights and restaurants, and in fact his dinner recommendation was the best meal of our three week vacation. Room was clean and cozy, and we were able to walk everywhere in the city. Thanks Alessio!

We spent 5 really comfortable nights here and would highly recommend Domina Popolo. The apartments are perfectly situated for all of the best places to visit and eat in Rome. The apartments are very clean and comfortable, breakfast is good. We will certainly stay here again.

Alessio and Daniele were great hosts. Daniele gave us tons of recommendations for Rome from what to see, where to eat, and all the insider info one could need. The B&B was in a convenient location. The Spanish steps were just a short walk away. The metro station was very close as well. The building was surprisingly quiet despite being so central to everything.

Do yourself a favour and stay here a week!!

If you want to make the most of your trip to Rome then stay here! A short walk from the best sites and the host had incredible recommendations which he circled on the map- great for when you are out and about and want a bite to eat. This map sent us to the best tiramisu, the best gelato, the best pizza, and the best pasta! The room was gorgeous and felt befitting of rome’s colour scheme. Breakfast was insanely good, fresh pastries and delicious yogurts, as well as a range of juices. A good way to start the day on a high energy city break.

Domina Popolo B&B

Owner/Manager and staff of Domina Popolo B&B were nice, friendly and helpful. The room for 2 people was a decent size, it included a queen size bed, a desk and a chair. It was noisy between 9am and 5pm. We could hear construction noise outside and people from the floor above us walking or moving furniture. However, night time was quiet. Everyday breakfast included fresh croissant (chocolate or sugar glaze), orange juice and coffee. There's a refrigerator in the common area. there's no oven or microwave. Owner/Manager showed us how to get around Rome on the map and made good recommendations for restaurants/eateries in the neighborhood. We arrived in the morning and the owner/manager was nice enough to let us leave our luggage in the room.

Amazing Trip

I went to Rome to visit my brother and see the city and Domina Popolo B&B was in the perfect location. The B&B is very close to the Piazza del Popolo making it easier to walk to all of the major locations in the city. And if you do not want to walk there is a subway stop about a block away. The staff at the hotel was welcoming and extremely helpful. At the beginning of our stay the staff gave us a map and recommendation/tips for different places to eat, where to get tickets for tours, and major sites to see. We were also able to arrange pick up and drop to the airport easily for a reasonable price.The B&B itself is charming, clean, and comfortable.

Walking distance to all the musts in Rome, comfortable beds, typical Italian breakfasts every morning (coffee and sweat treats), clean rooms, you could hear the cars in the night but the noise wasn't very disturbing:-)

Quiet, clean, comfortable, great price. Excellent location a few minutes from Flaminio metro station. Spacious room and big king bed suitable for couple and small child. Excellent amenities, especially the wonderful coffee machine! I have already booked a return visit.

Comfortable bed, but no hot water for shower on multiple occasions. Very noisy. From 3am-5am there was still a lot of noise echoing through the walls as if somebody was vacuuming or blow drying.

Convenient and Clean

Alessio and Daniel were great hosts. They made sure we knew how to get to some of the sights and had recommendations for places to eat nearby. The light breakfast that is available in the morning was a great way to begin the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The B&B is near to a metro station so it was easy getting there. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe there at night.
We had a problem with power one night (one of our devices flipped a fuse) Alessio was great even though it was near midnight when we had to call him. We would most definitely stay here again.

Family City Break 29/8/16-3/9/16

The accomodation is located a short walk away from the Metro station at Fluminio. The main feature of interest is Piazza del Popola.
We enjoyed our stay. Rome can be expensive especially in terms of accomodation cost but we think that this accomodation is reasonably priced.
Daniel was our host and he was helpful and friendly and informative. It soon felt as if we were at home. The 3 of us shared a room which had a double and a single extra bed. It was an adequate size in all. Everything worked. We could have opted for a slightly larger room but our room was fine.
The location is handy for the Metro and that was our preferred means of getting about during the day. At night we walked to where we were heading to eat. We probably stayed at the end of the peak season in terms of cost. Eating out can be expensive (circa 100 euro for 3 main meals and 1/2 litre of house wine) but if we wanted to we could have eaten at a cheaper price (several places, including one that we visited, charged a very reasonable 10 E for a main meal and a drink per person).
We enjoyed our trip for sure. Daniel is an excellent host and Arriane provided our transport to the airport at the end of the trip. Thank you both very much and we hope yo see you again soon.

Excellent location and lovely cozy atmosphere

We were fortunate to have a \"family\" room to accommodate the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children (14 & 11). There was a public kitchenette in which we could make tea/coffee and also wonderful pastries for our breakfast.
The location of the hotel was fabulous close to landmarks (piazza Popolo, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc.) and public transportation.
Alessio was very gracious and helpful in assisting with directions and places to eat. It felt like a \"home away from home\". The location of the hotel was quiet yet central to everything.
We will definitely stay there again!

Clean, quiet,safe neighborhood, located close to the Metro and a 10 min walk away from the noise of historic center of Rome. Room was comfortable, very clean, with fantastic air conditioner which is most welcomed in the heat of summer. Daniel and Alessio are very welcoming hosts, and provided a lot of travel tips and recommendations on places to eat. The free breakfast of - Morning coffee, juice, yogurt and pastrys hit the spot! Recommend the option to have a pick up at the airport - saved a lot of time getting to the apartment. Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay!!

I had a wonderful Stay at this B&B in May/2016. Very clean inn with a very comfortable room. Alessio and Daniel were the perfect hosts who went above and beyond helping me get around the city. It's the perfect location where I was able to walk everywhere from Vatican City to the Colosseum. The train station is very close to get you to and from Rome Termini as well as to all of the sightseeing.

Arrived early owner very welcoming, dropped bags off. The owner gave us a map highlighting all the places to see and his card with address and phone number on. Beds were comfortable and rooms and ensuit were clean. Breakfast was continental and tea/coffee provided in kitchen/dining area self service. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Enjoyed a brilliant 3 night stay in Rome in August during extremely hot weather. The room was lovely and cool and quiet considering it is a stroll away from Piazza del Popolo.
However, the best aspect of the stay was by far the lovely manager who was brilliant for tips on authentic restaurants and the places to see and places to avoid. If that wasn't enough he very kindly offered to take us to the airport at 5 Am so that we didn't have to worry about public transport or sorting out taxi's.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay here that concluded our 3 week trip around Europe!

The hotel is very strange, it's more of an apartment with guests having their own bedroom/bathroom, the host was friendly and helpful, we only saw him when we checked in.

Pastries are delivered daily from a local bakery (very good!) and left in the communal area, 1 day there wasn't enough left for our group to eat, but we were eating out anyway so it was ok.

Room was comfortable, we had 2 singles & 1 double and a good bathroom, although the shower is a little small and awkward with the shower head in the middle, not much room to manouevre.

Overall, a handy hotel to be located in the nice Piazza Del Popolo area, if you aren't planning on spending much time in the hotel.

Would stay again for a weekend trip to Rome.

Well situated, clean comfy rooms. Alessio who runs the Domina was amazing, belpful, knowledgeable, gave great tips and recommendations. He was also amazing when I had an accident. He looked after me and took me to the hospital.

The owner alessio was really helpful gave us great hints and tips of the area. Recommended great places for food. We walked everywhere we did not use public transport it was around a 20-30 minute walk down to the colusseum that was the furthest we went but was easy to get there. The breakfast was basic but plenty to start your day! The room was lovely and clean and better than we expected.

Nuestra experiencia ha sido buena. El apartamento es amplio, lo limpiaban diariamente y es bastante fresco, algo que se agradece, ya que nos hizo mucho calor.
Tiene dos habitaciones, una con baño dentro y la otra, concretamente la nuestra, tenía el baño fuera. Compartimos el apartamento con otra persona.
Alessio, el encargado, fue muy amable.

Abbiamo pagato per due notti una stanza con bagno interno e ce ne siamo trovata una senza. Alle nostre rimostranze dopo la prima disagiata notte ci e' stata assegnata un matrimoniale con bagno ma con gabinetto maleodorante.
Nonostante richieste effettuate il Wi-Fi non ha mai funzionato.
Il prezzo pagato direttamente all'agenzia Expedia per due notti € 341,12 per una camera deluxe e' stato sproporzionato per il servizio ricevuto.

J’avoue être pour le moins surpris des avis sur hotels.com et du rapport qualité /prix de cet hôtel.
Me déplaçant très souvent, un peu partout en Europe, je pensais qu’une chambre pour 3 à plus de 100€ la nuit pas en plein coeur de Rome serait tout à fait correcte.
Or, à peine rentres dans la chambre, nous avons fait la grimace. Je ne m’appesantirai pas sur la déco dépassée, tous les goûts sont dans la nature. En revanche, on est vraiment dans du bas de gamme : meubles cassés, murs pleins de traces et de trous, lits de camp, Tv écran plat de sous-marque d’à peine 45cm, sachets de savon digne d’un Formule un…
Et le petit-déjeuner n’en est mème pas un ! Des croissants sous vide et un frigo nous sont laissés pour que l’on se débrouille (tout seuls). Mème pas de chocolat ni possibilité de faire chauffer du lait pour les enfants (pas de micro-ondes). Pas de fruit…
Je sais bien que l’on n’est pas dans un quatre étoile (ce que m’a dit texto le gérant), mais, là on frôle le camping.
Après avoir contacté hotels.com, on m’a changé de chambre sans excuse, ni explication. Un poil mieux, mais toujours les mêmes déceptions (un simple coup de peinture aurait déjà bien aidé !)
Et quand je vois que l’on me fait, en plus, payer la taxe locale… alors qu’en tentant de reserver l’hôtel à d’autres dates, ce n’est pas le cas…
Bref, du niveau d’un hôtel sans ou avec 1 étoile, sans plus.
Pour être honnête, le personnel, quand on le voyait était très aimable, mais ce n’est pas suffisant !

Hôtel agréable et bien situé.
On avait donné une période de 2h pour notre horaire d'arrivée et on a vu personne. On a été guidé par tel pour trouvé les clefs (un vrai jeu de piste☹️) On n'a vu personne lors de notre séjour à l'hôtel. Pour notre départ, on a vu personne, on a informé par texto où retrouver les clefs et c'est arrivée chez nous en France qu'on a eu un message nous disant qu'on avait oublié de payer la taxe de séjour. Je ne vois pas comment maintenant on peut payer cette taxe et aurait été plus simple d'avoir une personne sur place.

Gran ubicación!

Excelente ubicación!! Muy cerca de las atracciones turísticas!! Se puede hacer todo caminando! Alessio súper atencioso; desayuno muy bien; es como estar en una casa; muy cómodos! No había problema en volver después de las 21 hs; cada cuarto tiene su llave y entras y salís cuando querés!

Værelset var forholdsvist stille, og med gode senge, ikke nogen luksus, vi kunne ikke få åbnet skodderne foran vinduet- derfor mørkt, og der var ikke shampoo/ sæbe som der var skrevet.
Morgenmaden var meget simpel- kaffe og noget sødt. -Ikke noget brød- udover hvidt toastbrød vi selv kunne riste, kun smør og marmelade som pålæg- ingen ost, pølse eller æg- ingen frisk frugt eller anden sundhed!
Værten var sød til at hjælpe med at guide og vise div ting på kort eller m transport.
