It’s in the perfect area close to everything you need to be. It was a 15 minute walk to the Trevi fountain to the pantheon. Everything’s close train station is close by great great area.

Absolutely lovely place, commmunication was great, some issues with the lock at the start, but it worked out fine and quickly
and no problems after that. Everyone I dealt with were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The bathroom had everything, and very clean, like brand new and the cute private terrace was a lovely bonus! I was very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend it, I'd definitely stay there again. Also the area is very walkable and near Flaminio metro station.

We had considerable difficulty entering the property on our first day, as the app to open the gate remotely was not working for us. Another tenant in the building ended up letting us inside.
The rooms were nice: modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were excellent. There was mold in the grout of the tiles in the bathroom, though, which made the bathroom smell like mildew. Additionally, the two rooms we booked had plumbing issues: the rainfall shower in one room did not work at all, and the water pressure in the sink was low; the toilet in the second room did not flush at all, and the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The property owner promptly arranged for a plumber to fix the problems, but I guess the plumber was unable to repair them, as the issues persisted after his visit. On the second day, the party for the second room was moved to a different room, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was lovely and the location of the property was great.

The property has a quaint elevator that is old school but works great; it was appreciated when staying on the fifth floor but if you want a quick work out…!

Morning breakfast is prepared to order at 8:00, but we had an early schedule which meant we missed it save for one day.

A very nice rooftop seating area is avail for all guests, and it was a nice combo with the air conditioned room to sit outside too.

Rooms are very clean and staff was friendly and effective; more like a hotel than B&B.

As we were concentrating on the areas nearby, it worked well. Lots of lime scooters to get around, but walkable and lots to see nearby.

Property was as described on the website. Water temperature for the shower didn't get as hot as Id like, and there were no blankets in the room. We had to use only a flat sheet to cover up with. Property was clean and breakfast provided was good. Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow.

Poor service and badly designed room

Place looked great in the photos but upon arrival, the pictures were very misleading. We stayed in a terrace room and it felt on the small side. The room is on a Main Street and the room isn’t sound proof at all - you hear every vehicle that goes by. The room has a major design flaw, with a long window along the top of the bedroom that backs on to the bathroom. If someone uses the bathroom is used in the middle of the night, the entire bedroom will be lit up. Also, if you check in after 8pm, be prepared to pay additional fees (in cash). We checked in 10mins past 8 and still got charged. Bathroom didn’t have much water pressure from the shower and lacked hot water - warm at best.

We were here on our honeymoon, we made them aware that we weren’t happy with the light, noise and shower, we wanted to check out early. We were advised that someone would be on the front desk everyday between 2pm-8pm every day - we were here for 2 days and did not speak to anyone in person either day! After explaining our issues by email, they refused to give us our money back for the remaining stay. The woman who I finally managed to get on the phone was rude, refused to acknowledge the issues that I raised and constantly shouted at me.

Rome is an amazing city - just think long before booking this place.

Great location, right next to Piazza del Popolo and Flaminio subway station.

The staff was very friendly and although we arrive after staff is gone, they had arrange everything for us to easily access our room.

They also had great remote service via mail and phone which came handy as we did have a problem with the heating. This was too high and we couldn't stand it, unfortunately we couldn't open the window cause the street was too noisy, so we had a first bad night. The next day we told the staff and they advice to turn off the AC with the remote, we left without checking this solution and when we were back at night, unfortunately the issue was not the AC but the heating radiator which is controlled by Bluetooth, so we couldn't do anything. We called the staff and they answered by upgrading us to a super nice, bigger room not in front of the noisy street for the remainder two nights, that improved significantly our stay.

Highly recommended!!

Everything was great about our stay!! Very near Flaminio station which is only a station away from Spagna. With a bus station nearby as well. Room was very clean and tidied up for us Everyday! Spacious room and bathroom as well.

Took a while for us to locate the place at night as Google map point us to the wrong building which was one street away from the actual building however self check in was easy and quick with detailed explanations on how to get in when we arrived late at night!

Breakfast was good with choices of eggs and the best hot chocolate! So sad that we stayed 3 nights and only manage to have breakfast on the first day..

Overall a really great value for money accomodation and room looks cosy and new with comfortable bed! Highly recommended!!

We love Rome!!

We had a wonderful time ! The facility is very contemporary and cozy. Such a surprise, coming off the old lift into a clean, contemporary spot.Lavinia and Lilly were amazing hosts. From making cafe early and late, calling for reservations, they could not have been nicer. Loved the terrace!!!! Location was great! Love the taxi option!!!Hope we can get back next year for a longer stay!

Very nice stay, staff is very welcoming and helped us navigate Rome. We had pre booked most of our tours at home but they pointed us in the right direction for restaurants, when to take the train or when to take a taxi. If you are expecting a 5 star american hotel this is not for you. If you want a beautiful little boutique hotel stay at the VIco!

Our stay in Rome 27th-30th March 2019

Once inside the hotel we were greeted by Lavinia who made us feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for her and as it was my husbands 70th birthday she decorated our room and gave us a bottle of Prosecca. Beverley made us breakfast every morning and was extremely cheerful and helpful. Rooms were decorated beautifully and the terrace was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the company of our friends. All in all our stay was excellent and we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. All the sites are within walking distance or the metro is nearby and is quick and easy to use. A 2 day metro ticket cost 12.5 Euros and well worth buying to save waiting at ticket machines.

A great place to stay in Rome

Vico Rooms is a great B&B and is highly recommended. It’s close to piazza del Popolo so was great for walking in Central Rome and close to many attractions and restaurants. The en-suite room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The staff we met - Lavinia, Beverley and Arlene - were very helpful. Beverley and Arlene kept the rooms very tidy, and accommodated breakfast requests (fruit, juices and cooking eggs & bacon to order) with a smile. We’ll be back!

Amazing staff and great hotel

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, they made our stay! Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was a lovely surprise and the breakfast was fantastic, there was so much choice! The room had a few minor details which needed sorting (the odd lose wire etc) but nothing major or detouring from the overall ambiance of the room. Location was great and the overall stay was 10/10! Would recommend to everyone, we will definitely be returning!

B&B in the apartment / On-site staff till 7or 8pm

I stayed at Vico Rooms for three nights with my adult son. We chose this facility because it's price and location, a few blocks from Flaminio Metro station. Our twin room was very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

There are a several rooms in the facility, that is on the 4th floor in an apartment building.

We were given one key holder, with 4 different keys for outside gate, outside door on the ground floor, apartment door (4th floor) and our room. The on-site staff was in the facility till 7pm or 8pm, so we had to use these keys when we came back late. As my son & I had different itineraries, having one set of keys did not work very well for us.

On the first night, I returned round 9pm, I could't open the apartment door with the key. The door just made click sound but did not open. So, I knocked the next door on the same floor and asked for help.

A lady, who lives in the next apartment, was kind enough to call the Vico's facility manager for me. Then, I was told by the manager that an additional key was necessary to open the door, and it was hidden in the secret place near the entrance.

Because we were not told about the additional key to enter the facility, I was locked out. It was a quite shocking experience.

Inner breakfast space is small, with 2 tables & 4 chairs only. When we went to eat, it was full, so we had to go to the outside terrace. It was already cold in October. But breakfast was good.

Honeymoon in Rome

We had a great stay in Rome at our visit.
There were modern rooms with modern bathroom and a very size rooms.
Amenities included a mini-bar, breakfast was included and it was delicious and served on the roof-top terrace. The staff was extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Alessandra helped us to arrange our airport transfers and a private tour of Rome with an excellent guide Marley.
The location of this hotel is excellent. It is about 5 minute walk to the subway station and it is very close to Piazza Papolla.
We walked almost everywhere from the hotel and it was a safe walk at night to go to Spanish steps. Also, it is very close to the oldest street in Rome, via Margutta, where Fellini filmed his movie \"Roman Holiday\". At night it was great to have a night cap in any restaurant near Plazza Papolla.
Perfect place and perfect location to be in Rome.

My husband and I will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Short walk from the train station and very centrally located. Beds were super comfortable, the staff are all super nice and helpful. Upon check-in, they gave us a map and their recommendations of the main attractions. There is a cute little terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee.

An amazing little hotel in Rome!

A fabulous stay here in this absolutely perfect little gem of a hotel! It is just very slightly off the beaten track but we really liked that aspect after a busy day traipsing around the beautiful city of Rome. The room was spotlessly clean. The air con was tiptop thankfully as we were there during a very hot heatwave. We loved having breakfast on the pretty little terrace. I think the lady that served us (and ran reception) was called Barbara? - she was delightful and very kind and sweet to my little boy! I have no hesitation at all in recommending the Vico hotel to anyone of any age whatever their for going to Rome be it for work or pleasure! If I am lucky enough to visit Rome again I would definitely return to Vico!!!!!!

When we got there she had an ice cold water for us then Matteo told us all we needed to know about the area and gave us some fabulous restaurant referrals and they both gave us a discount. Amazing Gem of a Hotel

Me and my now fiancée stayed here for the last leg of our trip, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, and you can take this extremely cool vintage elevator to reach the floor of the hotel (which is sort of like a BnB).

The staff was probably the best part of our stay though. We met the owner and his wife the first night, who instantly made us feel at home. They even stayed late to accommodate our late arrival, and the lady who cooked breakfast in the morning was equally as warm and friendly.

We will absolutely be coming back to Vico when we return to Rome, and you will be missing out if you don't make them a part of your trip! Great location, close to all the sights, and all at a good price too. Highly recommend!

Great Modern Boutique Hotel! We had the junior suite, so nice and fresh. Luxury bathroom and mini kitchenette as a bonus. Easiest stay ever! The hotel aranged taxi to and from the airport. Perfect 4 people and door-to-door. The employees were so kind and the breakfast was amazing on the terrace. Location was a nice neighborhood, two streets from Polpulous Square/metro/villa Borgessa park! Just perfect!

Great hotel in perfect location for sightseeing!

We stayed at Vico for 9 nights. The staff (Mauro, Matteo and Beverly) are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is very convenient for public transportation, walking or taxis. The breakfast consisted of fresh pastries (delivered each morning), fresh squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, yogurt, eggs, meat, cheese and fruit!
We travel a lot and highly recommend Vico!

This is a great place to stay for a short break. All the things you expect; clean, nice staff, good location and easy to find. One of the unexpected things was the nice breakfast which I thought was a little understated in the write up!
A special shout out to Beverly who was exceptional and worked really hard to please her guests and provide a warm welcome and farewell, a credit to a dwindling customer service industry these days.

Great place to explore Rome

What an absolute gem of a place! From entering via an antique lift the whole experience was a delight. The rooms are modern, clean, bright and well equipped. Little touches such as free water and sweets are considerate extras. The location was perfect for exploring Rome close to metro and 20 mins from Vatican, 15 mins from Spanish Steps. The young lady in charge in the morning was a ray of sunshine, preparing breakfast with a real personal touch. We would have no hesitation in recommending Vico Rooms to anyone considering visiting Rome.

Comfort and style in Rome

This hotel has lots of style and higher end finishing than most. Great facilities and a lovely roof terrace to eat breakfast or hang out in between sight seeing. The location isn't quite in the thick of it but it's very close to the metro so don't let this put you off, plus its about a fifteen minute walk to the Trevi Fountain or Pantheon so not too far away, plus there's loads to see en route so not an issue. The Reception staff were amazingly friendly - I would highly recommend this hotel for comfort and style.

We had a fantastic stay at Vico Rooms and Terrace
We booked the junior suite with its own little kitchenette very convenient.The room and bathroom were spotless and cleaned Daly.The room was in a quite area 5min walk to Popolo square and the Metro.I'm not sure if there is air con we went in April and didn't require it. Everyone was very frendly and helpfully, on arrival we were given a map of the city where points of interest were marked out. We would certainly stay here again. If you're planning on staying at Vick Rooms contact them to book airport taxis 30 euro return from CIA we didnt and paid 45.

Rome's best kept secret!!!

We spent three days in Rome and selected VICO because it had a great review rating, great location (next to a subway station) and a great price. We had the junior suite which was spectacular. Large, a modern bathroom, great lighting. Italian espresso and Capuccino (with steamed milk kakao heart), Croissants, evything you would possibly want. Mauro and his staff are very friendly and help with anyhing one desires. We will definitely stay there again during our next trip to Rome!

Die Lage der Unterkunft war zwar gut, jedoch kann ich von einem Aufenthalt dort nur abraten. Wir hatten extra eine Junior Suite gebucht – vor allem wegen des versprochenen Komforts und der Terrasse. Leider entsprach nichts davon den Erwartungen:
Die Dusche war während des gesamten Aufenthalts eiskalt, was besonders unangenehm war bei Regenwetter während einer Städtereise in Rom und wenn man sich mal frisch machen möchte nach einem langen Tag. Zudem war der Wasserdruck extrem schwach, was das Duschen erschwerte. Die Terrasse, auf die wir uns gefreut hatten, war völlig verdreckt – voller Zigarettenstummel, Müll und alter Möbel, die eher an Sperrmüll erinnerten.
Auch im Innenbereich war vieles nicht in Ordnung: Die Gardinen waren schmutzig, und der Fernseher funktionierte während der gesamten vier Tage nicht. Insgesamt stimmten weder Ausstattung noch Zustand der Unterkunft mit den Bildern und der Beschreibung auf Expedia überein. Sehr enttäuschend und nicht zu empfehlen.

Einzige Vorteil war die nette Dame, die jeden Tag die Zimmer reinigt und die Lage.

대문은 항상 잠겨있으며 보내준 링크로 문은 열리지 않았습니다. 전화나 채팅을 통해 원격으로 열어주는데 응답이 빠르지 않습니다. 첫날은 밤늦게 도착했는데 옆집 친절한 이웃분께서 열어줘서 겨우 들어갔습니다. 나갈때도 대문 버튼 위치도 찾을수 없었고 출입이 매우 불편했습니다.
출입은 채팅등을 이용해서 소통해야하지만 대답은 느리고 낮시간에도 연락이 쉽지 않았습니다.
하마터면 비행기를 놓칠뻔 했습니다.

Four sleepless nights.

Location was good, and the terrace nice. This is a guesthouse, where all the communication happens via Whatsapp. In addition, you receive information of the check-in via email. Most of the day, there is no service, and in the morning only Italian speaking person to make the breakfast. There are seats only for 6 person in the very tiny breakfast room. Our 4th floor room was extremely NOISY ( coming from other rooms and the street). It is possible to check-in with codes from 2 p.m. Before that you cannot bring the luggases in this guesthouse. Similarly, you need to make special arrangements to leave your luggases after you check-out. After negotiation we could leave the luggases in the breakfast room, however, without staff taking care of them. The price of the room was extremely too high compered with all the inconveniences we experienced.

Ótimo custo beneficio

A localização é excelente e o quarto novo e confortável. A cama é incrível e o chuveiro super quente.
Os anfitriões são solicitos e respondem rápido as mensagens e dúvidas.
O acesso após as 19h00 para o check in automático não funcionou e precisamos contatar por numero local o hotel.
O café da manhã era bom, mas a comunicação sobre o horário de atendimento tem oportunidades, não se pode chegar próximo das 10h, apesar de no quarto ter a informação de 8h-10h.

The air condition and the entrance door were not working. The breakfast room is very small. If you come late, you can get a little less bread.

La llegada es un poco complicada. No estoy habituada a este tipo de hotel. ( no tener una persona que te guíe personalmente. aunque fue muy cómodo , limpio y agradable . Sería una estancia a repetir pero no fácil para la primera vez.

La petite dame du petit déjeuner est très gentille et serviable
L’accueil et la réception est top !

Petit bémol : l’insonorisation on entends tout y compris les travaux à 8h30 le samedi matin dommage.

Le lieu est bien situé

Bellissimo B&b, tutto molto bello e pulito, il terrazzino è un luogo meraviglioso dove potersi rilassare, ottimo prezzo specialmente perché si trova in pieno centro. Ci ritornerò sicuramente!!
