We stayed one night at The Three Daggers, and enjoyed every minute. The room is spacious, very comfy and feels comfy. The staff were very kind and help with anything we asked. We had so much fun! I would recommend. The pizza and garlic bread are delicious!

The only downside (and it was quite a downside) is that our room was above the kitchen and the door was on an automatic closer which meant it slammed every time it shut. And this started at about 7.00 in the morning....

A gorgeous place to stay

Edington Brewhouse is a gorgeous place to say. If there is a negative, it's that we didn't know how to walk to The Three Daggers pub (and this was advertised as being \"10 minutes away\" on foot). We couldn't figure out how to get there, so directions in the 'welcome book' would have been great. We loved our stay however and hope to return. The little touches such as fresh apple juice and milk in the fridge on arrival were much appreciated and lovely. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I received a call advising that kitchen was shut due to refit being delayed. The hotel paid for a taxi to another eatery. This is going above and beyond. Francesca was brilliant in handling everything from warm welcome, sorting out taxi payment and breakfast the following morning. Highly recommended and I will be using again

Great getaway for an anniversary

Overall our stay was fabulous! We stayed in the Coulston room which was luxe, the rooms share a kitchen/lounge area which was a very nice addition to be able to grab a cup of tea etc. The breakfast the next morning was excellent too, lovely produce. Dinner at the pub was great too! Can't wait to come back!!

We had an amazing stay, the bar and dinning area was really cosy, our evening meal was delicious and the service was great. Our bedroom was out of this world and the separate living area gave us somewhere homely to kick back. Breakfast is served in their farm shop but be warned the breakfasts as huge, all locally sourced products but you need to have a really big appetite to leave with a clean plate. We really couldn’t fault anything about our stay and would definite visit again.

Blown away best place we've stayed

My husband and I had an amazing one night at the Three daggers in the cottage. We were very lucky to have the whole place to ourselves there are 6 bedrooms altogether. We had a room with a top of the range ensuite shower room and an outside flagged patio with beautiful wooden furniture. As for the rest of the house wow!! We were spoilt there was a lounge with a log fire, sound system, tv, board games, books and magazines. A kitchen with fridge containg juice, yogurt, milk, butter and jam. A cooker, crockery, kettle, coffe maker, biscuits. A dining area and patio. It was truly amazing and all of it with no expence spared.
We had a meal over at the pub, Tom was a brilliant host and the food was delicious. We went over for breakfast in the morning croissants, toast, juice, fruit cereals and a cooked breakfast plus tea and coffee. Syaying at The Three Daggers was a truly magical experience.

No iron, left me looking embarrassed...

No iron available - I had a business meeting to attend. I was unable to iron my clothes (not looking great for a business meetin). It took over 40mins to find me an iron - when they did find me one, it was broken!! Water came out of the iron all over my clothes.. Very disappointed. I left my business card for the manager to call me regarding this issue. I left the card on Monday 4th December, today is the 10th still not heard from him/her. Terrible form!!!!

Cosy pub with beautiful rooms

We only stayed for one night whilst walking the Wessex Ridgeway but it would have been nice to have stayed longer. We were given a spacious room with separate dressing area and large bathroom. There was a comfortable lounge with a kitchenette for guests' use. Everything was immaculately clean.

Booked in here when working in the area and not able to get a corporate room at the hotel normally used. Price here was only 20% of the full rate the normal hotel offered.
Nice place nice rooms and facilities perfect for what was required but would also be nice for a couple of days personal break.
Excellent food both dinner and breakfast. Really nice staff.
Would definitely recommend, and highly unlikely to use the hotel normally recommended.

Huge unnecessary common room. No amenities in our tiny room. We had private bathroom down hall. Very noisy.

Staff at breakfast unhelpful, unfriendly. Advertise fruit: none. Asked for honey for porridge, she pointed to maple syrup on table. Loud rock style music. Never came back to see if we wanted more tea or coffee.

A stay of contrasts

Both the room and food in the pub had good and bad points. The staff gave consistent good service throughout.
I stayed with my wife in the Priory room for one night and ate in the pub. The room looks fantastic, it's a nice bathroom, and overall it's a nice place to stay. The negatives are: that the bed is very soft, if like my wife you prefer a firm bed you will find it uncomfortable; second would be that it is above the kitchen and the industrial extractor runs up a chimney that runs through the room, and its noisy until the pub is locked up sometime after 11pm.
Food... Breakfast was fantastic. Dinner was contrasting, both fantastic starters, but both our mains disappointed. To put it in perspective, food is priced at premium pub prices, so the menu sets expectations. My pie of the day had one of my pet peeves, pastry over a filling in a ceramic bowl - purse have pastry all around the filling. However the watery \"sauce\" around the chicken and chorizo would have rendered any pastry soggy. My wife's halloumi and falafel burger had minimal halloumi and the \"falafel\" was actually a veggie burger (potato based with sweetcorn, peas etc) not falafel. I'd read other reviews about the food after booking the stay there, so I was expecting a punt and hoping for an experience in line with the best reviews, we got similar to the bad ones though.

Overall I'd say that the Three Daggers is a nice place to stay, but it's not at the level it's pitching itself at.

Great pub with luxury rooms-some nice touches like Bose Bluetooth speakers.
Staff did their best to sort an issue when raised, but you shouldn't have to chase them for the advertised breakfast to be made available in the residents kitchen. We booked there because that facility was advertised.
Could I suggest you update your website description and room info guide, and/or discuss with guests whether they'd like breakfast upstairs or were happy to come down to the pub?

The 3 Daggers is one of the best places I have ever stayed. Only 3 rooms but each was really spacious and there was a separate residents lounge where you can prepare meals and coffee etc. But don't bother - excellent food available in the lovely pub downstairs with site-brewed award winning real ale available too.

Excellent staff too who were very friendly and could not do enough to help. The only downside was that the bathroom in my room was across the corridor. It was lockable but you do have to leave your room to get there.

Fantastic cared for country hotel

2 day stay for a local family wedding in devizes. Lovely walks through the related priory and farm. Facilities are great and it is obvious that the owners and staff share a passion for the place. Only complaint is the humming from an extractor / fan / heat pump in the kitchen below - but it is at least consistent and a mark on the quality of the hotel that we only noticed it initially. Beautiful village too.

The inn was great. There are three rooms above the pub/restaurant and a shared living room. The room we stayed in was spacious, well appointed, tastefully decorated and it had a great bathroom. The restaurant/pub had excellent food - it was certainly beyond local pub fare. The menu had a good assortment of tasty food that was not expensive. (With the inn rather remote, there aren't any other restaurants within walking distance.) Not only was the food excellent, but there was also an awesome playground where little kids could play while the grownups eat. We really enjoyed the visit and would recommend this place to others, particularly as a stopover between Bath and Stonehenge.

Wonderful stop in the Bath area

We stayed at the Three Daggers after visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge, on our way to the town of Bath. It was the perfect stop - lovely inn with friendly staff, delicious food and good beer (brewed on location). Our family room was very comfortable, the bathroom was large, and there was a separate lounge area where one could relax on a sofa with a drink, read, or as I did, play card games with children. Bath is only about 30 min away by car, where we arrived shortly after our Three Daggers breakfast to begin sightseeing.

OMG A Gem for All

Not enough time. Food awesome, only wish I had a longer stay to try more things on this superb local menu, Jeff and staff are tremendous. Wait staff were equally up to the task, Shaunie knew what you required before you did. Did I mention dessert, great fare and variety. Room quaint with everything you'd need or want. Views and surroundings are tranquil and offer the 'tourist' a good taste of the area. Can't wait to visit again, but for longer.

An unexpected rural delight !

This was a great stopover on our way to Devon, and will merit a return visit to explore the immediate area. The restaurant, bar and accommodation have all been refurbished to provide a cosy, traditional pub/restaurant setting and very comfortable, individual bedrooms with heavy beams and high, wood panelled ceilings. The following morning we visited the adjoining mini brewery and farm shop which is part of the site, and which provided the excellent real ale the previous evening.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellant breakfast choices, quiet area but easy to get to local attractions eg Longleat. The attached pub expensive for food but still must be experienced. The barn shop sold organic produce and a very good packed lunch also their coffee and cake was delicious. A small gem in a small village.
