I was a bit flustered when I arrived but my host took it in his stride and walked me through everything. I was especially surprised and grateful for the free top up for my EV as this can be a bone of contention on trips. The only thing I feel could be helpful would be to offer a fan for the room as there is no A/C and it was particularly hot but, apart from that minor issue, it was a lovely stay and I hope to return again soon.

Clean room, swift checking and free parking. However location is a little noisy as it's opposite a main road. Bed not comfortable and noisy, low on pillows and very small private toilet/bathroom.

Milka's is situated perfectly for getting in and out of the city by public transport (the bus stop is right outside the door) and the advantage of plentiful free parking is also great. The rooms were clean and adequate (if a little dated/basic) for a short stay and the host was very helpful.
However there were a few things that would put us off returning: Hotels.com implied that breakfast was available by paying at the property, upon arrival we were told the dining room was closed! One of our rooms was at the front of building and the traffic noise was unbearable all night long - traffic seemed quieter when we stood at the bus stop outside (I took sleeping tablets the second night and did manage to get a few hours kip). Finally the mattress was way to hard for me, I suffer with chronic back pain anyway and this level of firmness just made it worse - Obviously preferred bed firmness is subjective, but if you don't like a hard bed you will definitely not like the ones here.

Very nice short stay (2 nights) at Milka's. Friendly greeting, on site parking. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The decor is a little dated but has everything you need. I couldn't hear any traffic noise during the night. An ideal base for visiting Oxford or the surrounding area. Plenty of eateries and takeaways within walking distance.

Great location, the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the city or you can take the bus. The rooms are clean, secure, well maintained and you are provided with a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, towels and a small amount of shampoo, it was disappointing that soap was not provided to wash your hands. I would stay at the hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.

Used this B&B for one Saturday night for a visit to see my niece at the University. A solid reliable guest house. Didn't spend too much time there as a busy weekend.

Fun stay in Oxford.
The place was lovely. We were on the top floor, so it wasn't really easy for older people, but they carried our luggage up. They did an amazing job on clothes washing. The breakfast was outstanding.

You really get the feel for old Oxford by staying here. The owners are very accommodating. Homemade hot breakfast. Very accessible to Oxford City Center by bus. Bus stop is across the street. A diamond of B&B
Very nice B&B just outside of city center of Oxford. Bus just outside the hotel. 10 min with bus or 25 min nice walk a long river Thames to City Center. Very clean room and was very carefully tided up every day. Very comfortable bed if you like hard bed. Very good English breakfast and a bowl with fresh fruit. Service minded and helpful personal. Two smal spotlights instead of one on table lamp connected to the bed would be nice. We know were to book our next stay in Oxford.

If you're looking for a flat with charm and character, this is your place! High ceilings with molding, fireplace, lovely furnishings and plenty of grand, spacious room make this apartment a lovely place to come home to every day! The location was awesome - we walked everywhere...Edinburgh Castle, Holyroodhouse, Royal Mile for shopping and great restaurants within blocks. We even stumbled upon a movie set on our walk to the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Dicksons were wonderful hosts, providing brochures, information, restaurant suggestions and conversation! The fridge was stocked with eggs, bread, milk, butter to get us going our first morning, and we were welcomed with a big, beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers upon arrival. My only disappointment is that the apartment was not available for one more night! You can't go wrong with this rental!

Staff were friendly and the breakfast excellent, either the full English or continental (with a good choice). It's about a half hour walk into Oxford (we didn't bother taking the bus.) From the room traffic on the street could be noisy but died down later in the evening. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

Great little B&B in the Iffley / Cowley area. Easy access to town (by bus) and good parking availability. Nicely sized room overlooking a quiet garden. Breakfast nicely proportioned. Would stay again.

Room was very clean, but bathroom was very cramped and there was alot of road noise. Manager was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place for a quick stop over but for longer stays it may be better to look elsewhere.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door een enthousiaste eigenaar (Petter). We waren ruim te vroeg al op locatie maar de kamer was al klaar en we waren welkom. Ruime nette en schone kamer en badkamer met een koelkastje en goede wifi. En voldoende ruimte op het terrein om gratis te parkeren. Het guest house ligt op een minuut of 25 lopen van het centrum. Maar vlak voor de deur stoppen ook zeer frequent bussen als je daar gebruik van wilt maken. Wat ons betreft een prima verblijf!
