Great front desk staff, old design room with very old towels, poor Wifi, but it was clean and decent. Nice breakfast with no vegetables at all. The hotel was full with groups so the breakfast room was over crowded. The hotel is in a driving distance to Hamburg city center (about 20 minutes)

Only real concern was that despite the adjoining restaurant had an al a carte menu, when we asked for the menu, we were told by the un- uniformed waitress that it there was only a buffet. We therefore found a different restaurant

it was no satisfactory . the internet was not working and breakfast was not only poor but most of the things were either missing daily or were put while we were eating normally at 9 am reception staff was very cooperative but location of the hotel is awful and metro station was accessible only by a bus - going Hamburg mess one had to use 3 transportation. The lady at check-in was very nice and the rooms were basic but clean, however the cupboard had not been cleaned and contained empty beer cans. De kamer was eenvoudig maar voldoende ingericht. Het is er goed schoon en de service was prettig. Het hotel is goed bereikbaar vanaf de hoofdweg als je op doorreis bent. Het ontbijt is goed verzorgd en ruim voldoende aanwezig.

Vi overnattet på hotellet én natt i forbindelse med gjennomreise, og til det formålet var det et helt greit sted å bo. Lett å finne frem. Rett ved motorveien, men veldig stille og rolig. Gratis parkering rett på utsiden av hotellet.
Helt ok standard, god plass på rommet, bitteliten tv, kriker og kroker på badet var nok ikke vasket på en stund, ellers var alt greit.

Guter Zwischenstopp!
Wegen Corona, kann ich tatsächlich nur das Personal und Zimmer bewerten. Unsere Zimmer waren in Ordnung, mit dem Glanz eines neuen Hotels aber nicht zu vergleichen. Die eine oder andere Renovierung würde den Gesamteindruck sicher noch heben. Insbesondere der Fernseher, mit der Größe eines Laptop-Bildschirmes, entspricht wohl nicht mehr der Zeit.
Aber, mit der Sauberkeit und der Freundlichkeit des Personals waren wir absolut zufrieden.
Das Lunchpaket (statt Frühstücksbuffet - dank Corona) war erstaunlich gut, ein extra Plus für das Team!

Good for a quick stay
A good place for a quick (!) stay, as the hotel is right on the Autobahn, just north of Hamburg. We arrived late, slept, and left in the morning. If you plan to arrive late, you must call before, as the reception closes at 22 hrs. We got the key from a keysafe outdoors, but it was a bit confusing that we had the room in the second building, that should have been explained in a better way. Rooms are neat and clean.

Das Hotel Quickborn liegt an der Autobahn A7 und ist dadurch für eine Übernachtung sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und nett möbliert. Das Hotel macht im Großen und Ganzen einen sauberen Eindruck.

Im Hof stand ein großer Container mit grauenhaft stinkendem Müll, der bis zum 2. OG gestunken hat. Der Aufzug ist nachts nicht zu benutzen - für Gäste mit viel Gepäck und Spätanreise möglicherweise wissenswert.
Das Frühstück ist gut, aber nicht herausragend; war aber im Preis enthalten. Vorschlag; man sollte hier vielleicht etwas regionale Spezialitäten präsentieren, damit das Hotel dem Kunden im Gedächtnis bleibt.

Das Frühstück ist gut, aber nicht herausragend; war aber im Preis enthalten. Vorschlag; man sollte hier vielleicht etwas regionale Spezialitäten präsentieren, damit das Hotel dem Kunden im Gedächtnis bleibt.

Ich war geschäftlich im Hotel Quickborn und sehr angenehm überrascht: Es gibt erst ein mal kostenlose und genügend Parkplätze. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und auch witzig. Nach einem harten Tag brachte mich der Mitarbeiter sogar kurz zum Grinsen;-) Der Check-In verlief ohne Probleme und sehr schnell. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Die nahe Autobahn ist bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht zu hören. Im Sommer könnte es evtl. nicht so ruhig sein, das müsste man noch mal probieren, wie sich die Zimmer aufheitzen. Das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war reichlich und es wurden sehr gute Brötchen gereicht. Die Atmosphere im Frühstücksraum war angenehm ruhig. Alles in allem ein für Geschäftsreisende gutes Hotel, weil es logistisch nahe der A 7 liegt und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bietet. Da werde ich defintiv nochg mal buchen.

Der einzige Minuspunkt: Die Dusche. Normalerweise ist der Wasserdruck in diesem Hotel sehr, sehr gut. Hier hatte ich leider ein Zimmer im Altbau erwischt, in dem das nicht so war. Also bitte darauf achten, bei der Bu hung: Um ein Zimmer im Neubau bitten!
