The hotel and reception was nice overall,
But the hotel is not cost worth hotel.
Such a huge park place for cars but still ypu charge the people stay at yr hotel a parking fee, which is very much interesting.
beds were definetely not the comfort and the housekeeping never the refreshed the vanity set and the teas of the room. Pool area needs to be maintained.
Overall it was fine but does not worth that much. Mind yr budget.

I like the facilities about the hotel like things to do golf spa and so on but i did not like how staff communicate to guest especially when u dont know how to speak German but u just wanna go Germany for holidays. I dont like the fact that u have to walk a long distance to find the pool . The bed was too hard and they give u two small cover which was really bad especially if u are travelling with ur partner.

Convenient, comfortable, highly recommended.

This is a great hotel. I've used it many times. Very convenient for Hamburg airport and easy to get to local rail link into the city centre. Plenty of car parking, great gym, polite and friendly staff, lovely room and amenities. If you need something close to the airport but don't like airport hotels then I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Only one \"problem\" though - it's very popular and not always available for my stays when I visit Hamburg.

A unique property in almost country setting but close to shopping and restaurants! 9 holes golf course. The original bldg from 1927 is closed since 3 April but all other blds are fully functional and staffed! Great service and amenities, very friendly multi language personnel! No complaints at all, only kudos!

Nice hotel and friendly staff. But it’s a bit far from Hamburg city center. It is a country club. There is another steinberger hotel by the river in the city center, which also looked quite good (from the outside). Note that you can take a S Bahn and a local bus to get to the hotel from Hamburg central station if you don’t want to take a cab.

Another stay at the Treudelberg

The service and personnel were exceptional, friendly and accommodating.The hardness/softness of the mattress was quickly remedied, which makes a big difference in a longer stay. The swimming pool and saunas were, as always, a welcome rejuvenation experience. One can walk through the adjacent nature preserves and overlook the golf course to relax. Plenty of parking helps. The buffet breakfast is extensive although also expensive, but the restaurant quality is very good.

Good choice hotel if you are a golfer and you want to stop in the way to any of the Nordic countries. Room size was good for a crib and bed was really comfortable, it was short but pleasant stay, club house food is good quality price.

A beautiful and comfortable hotel in a convenient area close to transport links. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are bright and spacious. We enjoyed the leisure facilities and the grounds around the golf course. The breakfast was good and plentiful. They always make you feel welcomed.

The Hotel was very good but unfortunately we had to eat in your Restaurant. The service was abominable.The Headwaiter was on another Planet.When we finally got our food my wifes was inedible due to under cooked chicken and mine ,well ive never had a sauce made of brown gravy and cream.We realize now we should not have gone a la carte.Finally The Head Chefs attitude leaves much to be desired .PS I don't like being called a liar

After a 300 mile drive,I was hoping for a good drink and dinner. However after waiting at the restaurant desk whilst a waitress finished off something on her screen we were eventually shown to a table, but after 10 mins or so nobody came to serve us or even give us a menu so we got up and left. Mentioned it to restaurant supervisor, but although surprised did not seem too bothered. Did also mention it to barman as our only eating option was the bar (Good food).
At checkout next morning did refer to it as the receptionist did ask whether everything was ok, Great pity as the hotel was well appointed and comfortable, but sadly we missed out on what could have been a good relaxing evening. Don't need this on a long journey.

Beautiful hotel ... but ...

This hotel looks lovely and is very clean, the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We paid for a larger room as there were three of us (including our son who is very tall - over 6 feet). The room was big enough for our needs. Unfortunately none of us managed much sleep over the two nights as the room was far too hot even with both windows open (making it noisy between 06:00 and 22:30 due to proximity of airport). This may just have been our room that was on the 3rd floor above the pool area. We didn't eat at the hotel as it looked expensive and both my husband and son are fussy eaters!

Best Hotel in Hamburg. Tesla Euro road trip.

Phenomenal! We will absolutely be back. Underground parking was amazing, numerous super cars parked here as well and it felt completely secure. Indoor pool was a huge hit with our kids. The food was without a doubt some of the best we had the entire time we were in Germany and the breakfast buffet was massive. Including a coffee bar making drinks to order, 5 star service all around. If you are visiting Hamburg this would be my first choice for hotel. Exceeded the legendary German Hotel service.

Hotels.com advertised it again and again as a top link hotel for a family. Cheap and Nice!!! One of the review says that the morning buffet was great. When I was checking in, the service person did not know whether morning buffet was included or not. The other person told that morning buffet is not included. They charged 50 dollars more than the invoice as Taxes. I have been liked using hotels.com for my trip. However, this one was bad choice and felt somewhat cheated.

Arrived a greeted warmly but room not ready and so told we could have twin beds or long wait. Took the twins - but not happy. Room was in the Atrium Annex - our friends were no where near us, two floors above. all rather silly as the place was empty. So we were rattling around in a empty huge building with the remnants of conference refreshments around the main corridor leading to our room.
The room was ok but a bit dated.
One major issue was that the weather was extremely hot - and the air conditioning did not work at all. It didn't work in our friends room either. Non of us slept well - the hotel wasn't bothered and didn't seem able to remedy the problem.
Disappointing.

We have been to this hotel for 15 years. A couple of years ago, management changed from Marriott to Steigenberger. Since then, it has been going downhill. This year, the air conditioners were not working. We asked the staff to check it three times, and we still slept hot. We finally got a fan after the third day. Next year, we will stay at Hotel Atlantic downtown.

Zum Frühstück gab es keine Tageszeitung-ich musste einige km fahren um an ein Hamburger Abendblatt zu kommen. Für ein Hotel, in dem viele Businessleute übernachten, ist das für mich völlig unverständlich! Ich musste meinen Aufenthalt in HH verlängern und habe deshalb das Hotel gewechselt!

Vom beginn der Reise ist das Hotel negativ aufgefallen. Die Rezeption ist unfreundlich, ein Hallo kommt nur schwer über die Lippen. Infos bekommt man auch nicht und muss nur nachfragen. Kommunikation ist in jeder Abteilung schwierig. Bar Service lässt zu wünschen übrig. Hier wird erst nach 1 1/2h gefragt ob man was trinken mochte. Wir waren aufgrund eines begünstigten da und wurden vom Hotel auf ein Glas Sekt eingeladen. Die Bar wollte aber gerne 2h früher Feierabend machen und uns daher die Gläser aufs Zimmer bringen. Im Nachhinein sollten wir dafür 63€ zahle und das wird immer so verkauft heiß es. Der Wellnessbereich ist alt und dreckig. Das Wasser kalt und verdreckt. Im Hotel sowie auf den Zimmer lagert sich der Staub. Das einzigste lobenswerte ist das Frühstück und das super Personal da. Alles andere war ein Fehler und wir haben noch nie so bereit ein Hotel gebucht zu haben.

Das Hotel punktet mit schön gestalteten Zimmern, einem ausgezeichneten Frühstück, einer tollen Bar sowie einem liebevoll eingerichteten Kinderspielzimmer. Die Lage ist ideal zum Spazierengehen und das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit – großes Lob dafür!

Leider waren die Zimmer extrem heiß (gefühlt 28 Grad), was das Schlafen sehr erschwert hat. Auch die Hellhörigkeit, die fehlende Abdunklung und ein blutiges Taschentuch im Zimmer haben den Gesamteindruck getrübt.

Im Sommer würden wir das Hotel daher nicht weiterempfehlen und hoffen bei einem nächsten Besuch auf ein besser gereinigtes Zimmer.

Lækkert sted

Virkelig lækkert sted med en super lækker pool og fantastisk udsigt.
Gennemsnitsalderen på gæsterne var lidt høj, men hotellet fungerede også fint for os som familie.
Lidt langt ind til Hamborg, men det var min egen skyld, at jeg ikke havde læst godt nok op på byen inden jeg bookede.
Vi fik ikke meget info, da vi ankom. Fik blot udleveret nøgler og peget i retning af værelset.
Sengen til børnene var en sofa, der var slået ud til en dobbeltseng. Det fungerede fint, men sengen knirkede lidt hver gang en af dem vendte sig.
Parkering og morgenmad var ikke med i prisen, så det kom ud over den lidt høje pris.
Alt i alt var vi godt tilfreds.
