Top quality stay and the breakfast was the best in all. Rooms are clean every day cleaner come and cleaning. Beds are nice shower and toilet clean. Easy in out lift very good fast to get down and up. Evening bar restaurant area very nice and the fast served.

Hotel is outside the main city centre.
The Allianz/Airbus offices are opposite the hotel. It is a quiet area which sems to be a business district.
Good transport links via Rubenkamp station which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
We booked in on a Sunday and was given a room on the 16th floor. Only one lift out of the three was working. This resulted in a long wait to get to our room.
The bath/shower needs an additional handle to help getting out of the bath.
Overall it is a very good hotel.

The room was reasonably priced, but the extra \"nickel and diming\" for parking (27€ per day) and breakfast (approx. $65 US for two adults for one day) was excessive. If we had been aware of how expensive parking and breakfast were, we may have chosen a different hotel. Room was nice, hotel was clean, just the extra charging was a bit much.

Everything went smoothly from the welcome at thw reception. The room was spacious, the view from our room was great, everything was very clean. The bar staff was very friendly, The hotel is very close to the subway and it’s about 20 minutes away from downtown. On weekends, the public parking outside is free.

A great few days staying close to family. Great connections to both bus and tube into the city. Lots of choice for breakfast and our room was spacious and comfortable. Area was a tad run down, but very close to the park.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Hamburg was a major disappointment. First off, the cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable. My room was dirty, with visible stains and dust that made me question whether it had even been properly cleaned.

To add to the frustration, the manager I encountered was not only rude but also exhibited racist behavior. Instead of resolving my concerns, they were dismissive and condescending, which only made the situation worse.

I was promised a refund for my troubles, but after following up, the management flat-out refused to honor that commitment. It feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional.

On top of all this, the internet connection was painfully slow, making it difficult to get any work done.

Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Hamburg was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend staying here—there are much better options available!

The staff were helpful giving directions. The breakfast was good. The area had limited restaurants and there was nothing to see as it was a business district. I chose it as it was marginally cheaper than other places that didn’t have gym facilities, it had promised a spa but that wasn’t functional, locked with promise of repair.

The air conditioning did not work, and the ac fan would only blow slow speed. Ask to have it checked, and they said it was working properly. The from was not clean, beds uncomfortable, thin pillows. No free coffee downstairs, breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child was $91 us

The only problem was a difficult for the charging EV,because of the shortage of the charging station,the only four were took place by those which charged full or just taken by the vehicle which did not charge but occupied.as the hotel manage,they should put a clear & large sign for those offenders.respect others or remove their car in limited time.or it will be towed away on owner’s expenses.

We liked the setup at the hotel. It looks really nice. It was set up for the guests to watch the Eurocup match.

The only thing we didn't like is the driveway into the hotel is oddly setup and easy to miss. But that is minor. I would put up some better signs.

My room had a very nice overview of the park and the Hamburg area. First thing that I did after dropping off my bags at the room was to take a walk through the park, there is also a Planetarium located in this park that I did not get around to visiting - next time. The S-train stops are a short walk away and run very frequently, there's also a bus stop 5min walk away just around the corner from the hotel - this way you can plan your journey together via S-train and bus and have a shorter walk compared to walking all the way from any of the two the S-train stations.

The hotel facility is new. Plus point. However, when we entered the room, aircon was spoilt. We were given a different room but the door’s latch was broken. Felt so unsafe in room. Also wifi was down for 2 days! So disappointed since this is a new hotel. Also reception area is understaffed. Always 1 staff only on duty. Called reception no answer a couple of times. Had to go downstairs to ask them questions in person. So inconvenient. We were not told there are no toiletries in room. Reception didnt inform us that we can request for toiletries n such if we need it. Think frontline staff needs to be trained well to serve guests. Wont recommend this hotel unless businessman who needs to attend meetings nearby building within hotel area for convenience.

Lovely clean and modern hotel

A lovely hotel with clean comfortable rooms, breakfast seems a bit pricey but it is an all you can eat affair with tasty food and lots of choice.
We used the FREENOW app to book taxis which was easy and there is a train station nearby which takes you through a beautiful park.
Location is not central so there is some travelling to do to get to the centre.
All in all it is a very nice hotel and I'd happily stay here again.

Positiv: Frühstück war einwandfrei, auch unser Zimmer im obersten Stock war absolut in Ordnung und auf dem neuesten Stand eingerichtet.
Negativ: Zustellbett war nicht wirklich bequem. Beim Einchecken morgens teilten wir mit, dass unsere Flüge vorverlegt wurden und wir deshalb wesentlich früher in Hamburg wären. Auf unsere Nachfrage, unser Zimmer etwas früher zu beziehen, ging man leider nicht ein, was ich persönlich sehr schade fand. Über die Lage des Hotels muss man sich natürlich auch klar sein, dass man noch einige Zeit mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs ist, bis man im Zentrum ist.
