The property was clean, bright, and very ambient. The staff were polite and courteous,, but lacked the true focus of customer care. We got there around 11am on the day of our arrival expecting to wait for our 3pm check-in. We were kept waiting for the room even though it was ready before 3pm. Then I had to request check-in even though we were sitting in reception not 2 metres away from the desk. Extremely poor customer service.

The room was very nice and comfortable, paid for our parking, paid the pet fee. All good until I get up at 4:30 am to take a shower, no hot water. My husband goes to the FD had clerk go to another room to try the water and still no hot water. My husband was told it would be a couple hours before the person who handles that came in. In the end we had hot water 15 mins before leaving, which was good. Apparently they turn off the water heater at night? The clerk says it has happened around the 4am time before.

Pleasant experience

Pleasant hotel with normal-sized room. Comfortable bed, modern, clean bathroom, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Despite being on the street side, our room was extremely quiet. The staff was friendly and efficient. We were visiting family so we didn’t spend much time there and didn’t have any meals there, but it was all quite pleasant!

Wonderful facility. Beautiful rooms and great service from all customer agents working there. From housekeeping to front desk and kitchen. But be aware if you need parking you need to arrange prior to arrival. There is street parking but not always easy to find.

Enough for one night stays

Excellent service. The hotel is overall in good condition l, however it was noisy when someone at the next room was taking a shower or using the kettle. Nevertheless I had a good sleep but I was lucky to wake up early in the morning so no one else woke me up. Internet connection was quite slow.

Hidden gem near the Hamburg airport.

Surprisingly beautiful, small hotel hidden away in a residential suburb of Hamburg, within walking distance to the airport. The hotel is immaculate, even romantic in its setting. Excellent for adults wanting some \"me\" time. It's probably a little too secluded for rambunctious children. It's a must stay for adults wanting to be near the airport. While you're there, try the little cafe on the river two blocks down.

Hotel itself was great. Beds were very comfortable, and the shower had a rainfall shower head which was great. Only complaint is that it was unseasonably hot for mid-May and the staff said the were not allowed to turn on the air conditioning until June. Temperatures in the Hamburg area had been hot all week. That kind of inflexible policy is not very smart.

Very convenient for the Airport, but quite a way out of town. Hotel is clean, staff are helpful and friendly and speak good English (much better than my German).
It would have been nice to have a double duvet for a double bed, but this is not uncommon in German hotels. Breakfast is good!

Definitely use this hotel again

Stayed here for 3 nights, the staff all speak perfect English and were very helpful. Bit of a mix up as to whether we had paid for bed and breakfast as the receptionist told us it was included and ended up paying for breakfast despite us stating that we were room only, so check before you eat as it turned out to be a very expensive breakfast at €18 per person. The spa is only open later in the day which is a shame as that's when we were out exploring! would recommend this hotel. And definitely take advantage of the free transport ticket as we went everywhere and it was free and easy to use

All in all a pleasant stay

The location of the hotel in the center of Hamburg, friendliness of the staff and breakfasts were all very good to excellent.
The single large negative aspect was the fact that rooms are not available until 3 pm. After an overseas flight, I arrived at the hotel at 9 am and there was no place to rest or wait except at the hotel bar. Not nice for a tired senior citizen. After my repeated urging, my room was made available by 1:30 pm. Could have been better. Management should be aware of this problem.

Very good hotel if you have work in that area

I stayed in this hotel as it was close to where I had to visit on business. The hotel is closer to the airport and quite far from the city center. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel which is convenient.If you know how to use the public transport, then you are quite mobile as you get a free card that you can use. There is not much to do near the hotel. The breakfast was quite good and the dinner I had in a restaurant close to the hotel (operated by them) was very nice. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay.

Wonderful stay

Room was very clean and as described on line. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is difficult but not unusual in Germany. Sets on a main bus line and not a bad walk to the train for easy access anywhere in the city.

Missing on the international level

It was more than decent an experience with very pleasant and courteous staff at the desk and at the restaurant, but their knowledge of daily life requests in English are not good enough. (I am French speaking but that was of no help at all.) Try to ask for decaffeinated coffee! The other dimension not at par with expectations has to do with WiFi capacity and assistance to login at the guests computer desk in the lobby where every page, every word is in German and no one at the desk to assist by lack of mastering English.. Finally, I got a room with no radio, no clock except for the TV and, almost above all, no full bed duvet!!! I am a 78 years old woman who turns in my bed during the night - am I the only one in the world? - and all I got was that NARROW one person slim duvet (?) in a closed sheet... Local colour is great but not when it is below international Western World standards...

It's far from the town center and more oriented for families, as there were a lot of children running through the halls. Rooms were small and outdated in the separate building from the main hotel. As a business traveler look elsewhere in in downtown area.

Excellent for business

The hotel service is excellent. The location close to the airport is very good when being on a business trip. Also the availability of a ticket for public transport is a very good service. The hotel is located a couple of km from the nearest subway. After 7 pm it is a little challenging to get back to the hotel. The buffet breakfast is excellent, but the cost pretty high (unfortunately this seems to be the standard nowadays).

The stay at the hotel was comfortable, however, traffic around it was noisy and there is a fire station about a block away. Front desk was friendly. Room was very clean. Breakfast was not included and was extremely expensive but there is nowhere else to go for breakfast. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to family members who live in the city.

Excellent hotel near Hamburg Airport

We stayed 5 days at this hotel and will come back next time when staying in Hamburg. Though the property is very close to the airport, we have not heard a single plane taking off or landing. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms very spotless under any aspect. Be aware that free parking on property is limited, but street side parking is plenty available. WiFi is a little slow, but free of charge to guests.

We stayed here while visiting friends who live nearby. The hotel was a very comfortable place to resort to, and we enjoyed the excellent breakfast and the bar snacks. An unexpected but very welcome bonus was the free tickets for the wonderful public transport system in and around Hamburg. Our previous stay was ten years ago, and standards are just as high, even higher than in the past.

I found the hotel comfortable and enjoyed the barbeque in the courtyard on what was a lovely warm evening. Although close the airport it is to far to walk with luggage and too near for taxi drivers!

Nice hotel - too far from transport links

Had a really good trip and this hotel was within walking distance of the company offices I worked at during this stay. I will definately be staying again, the staff were very helpful, the room clean and well maintained. The only downside is that breakfast is very expensive at €20 per day per person. There is no option to have a small breakfast and pay less. The hotel is quite far from transport links without using a bus, the nearest underground station is at least 20 minutes walk. On the upside, the staff presented me with a free travelcard for the duration of my visit which covered all hamburg areas and all transport types.

My partner and I can not speak German, but the staff made us welcome and had no problem with that as they could speak English.
We were suprised that our hotel card could save us on transport cost getting into and around Hamburg, and the bus stops were right outside our hotel.
The hotel was modern, clean and had everything we needed (except tea making things) but thats because we are Brittish and its the norm.

The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke English.
However we had a very noisy room. You could here the traffic and sirens all night long.
The room pricy and was in a poor location, with no attractions around it. We went to Hamburg Harbour and it was a 30 minute drive.

Best Western Premier Alsterkrug

A really clean and comfortable, quiet hotel with excellent service. The hotel is a little distance from the city centre, however there are convenient transport links right outside the door, and the hotel has timetables and tickets at reception to enable you to use it - which is indicative of the customer focus of this hotel. The restaurant provided tasty good wholesome food, which I enjoyed, and at a reasonable price, Overall a really good experience.

This is one of the best hotel's I have stayed in and I travel a lot. The room I had was very large and well-maintained with a large clean bathroom. Flat Screen TV but only one program in English (News) which was not a problem. I used room service for dinner and the meal was excellent which is not always the case when using room service. I was very satisfied with my choice.

Og spis endelig på restaurang Braband ved floden Alster på Alserdorfer dam. 500 m derfra.

Das Hotel war für uns ideal gelegen, der Bereich Lobby und Restaurant ist sehr schön und das Speisenangebot vielfältig und lecker. Das Zimmer war recht klein und hat noch den Charme der 90er Jahre - war aber alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Hotellets klima har ikke virket i 3 dage, de gør ikke noget ved det. Værelserne var så varme, det ødelagde hele ferien da vi ikke kunne opholde os på værelset på noget tidspunkt. Og vi kunne heller ikke falde i søvn om natten pga varmen.

Das Hotel ist neu renoviert, Zimmer sind sauber und funktionell, Restaurant ist hübsch und Frühstücksbuffet schön und gutes Angebot.

Der Azubi an der Rezeption der mich eingecheckt hat war freundlich und „willkommend“ - das kann ich leider von keinem Anderen sagen. Es gab kein „guten morgen - willkommen“ sonderm nur „ich brauche Ihre Zi Nr“ , das setzte sich in anderen Bereichen fort. Ich wohnte 3 Tage dort.

L'hôtel était propre.
Nous avons du saisir manuelle l'enregistrement; c'était long.
Le serveur du restaurant a forcé à la consommation et cela n'était pas commercial. Par exemple, mon collègue voulait une petite bière, il a ramené une grande bière et fait payer une grande bière. Cela n'est pas correct. Le prix de mon jus de fruits était le double car 2 fruits différents alors que rien n'était indiqué sur la carte. Encore un aspect non commercial.

Perfectly situated for my office

Very nice hotel which is perfect situated considering my office is within walking distance.
Lovely breakfast and restaurant- both highly recommended.
The rooms are nice, but I had trouble to sleep this time as there was a constant noise from the washing machines during all night.
The cleaning in the room could be better. It was quite superficial; my lenses on the night table were still there after 2 days. Furthermore I used the small body lotion but never got another one.
The personnel is very nice and professional. I will definitely stay there again.
