This was our first visit to Hamburg and would like to return and would not hesitate to book Numa again. The room was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of hanging and cupboard space, a well equipped small kitchen area (we didn’t actually stay for long enough to use it) and large en-suite.
Some things were not immediately obvious, such as the lighting and external blind control but there were instructions for everything, so no need for this to be a problem.
The location couldn’t have been better as we didn’t want to drive into the centre of Hamburg and we found free street parking just outside the hotel, alternatively there was paid parking at Numa which seemed expensive compared to other hotels we’d stayed at during our trip.
The Rubenkamp train station was around a kilometre walk away via the very pretty allotments and walkways, trains were frequent and the journey to the centre took around 20 mins or approximately 6 stops. It was all very easy 😊

our stay was good! there was a couple things however that we didn’t love. the shower was a little dirty and grimy and there was no way to lock the door from the inside which i really didn’t like. This became an issue this morning when someone came into our room at 10am when we were still asleep. Had we been changing or in the shower this would have become an even bigger issue.

Terrific place to stay when visiting Hamburg

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was close to the places we wanted to visit. Very easy to get to with a little bit of walking to the local train station. We wanted a kitchen and got a lovely one that was well outfitted for our needs. The layout of the little efficiency apartment was ideal in that the main room was split into by a room divider with a television that could swivel from one side to the other and that made it feel like two rooms – a bit more privacy than would otherwise be the case. We never met any staff because everything was automated and we were received a code for getting into the building and into our rooms the day before our arrival. It was very much our little home away from home.

Great apartment, beautiful natural light. Comes with a fully stocked kitchen. The room was a good size so we didn't feel stuck in a small space. Easy to get codes and get in and out. Close to the bus which takes you directly to town in less than 40 minutes. The main train station is 11-12 minutes away but easy to get to as well. The only downfall is there really isn't anything nearby for shopping or restaurants. There was an awesome snitzel place about 15 minutes away though and thr restaurant downstairs was good food and decent portions! Overall, we'd definiteiy stay again if we come back.

Flawless apartment hotel, couldn’t fault it!

Fantastic apartment hotel, great location right by an S-Bahn station, literally a couple of stops to the airport, and a short ride into the heart of the city.

Apartment was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a kitchenette with a hob (stove top) and microwave. Very sizeable apartment, clean and quiet, barely bumped into any other guests outside of the communal social area on the first floor - will definitely be staying here again the next time that I find myself back in Hamburg!

We were a large group of friends divided in three different rooms and we had the best time at Numa Fore! Very clean, great bed, very cute apartments. Transport is also great, 9 mins walk to train that dropped us straght in the city center in 20 mins! In the weekend the parking spots outside the hotel are free of charge, BONUS!!!

As a German female traveling solo I felt extremly unsafe. Pretty much only men staying there, loitering in the lobby, catcalling. Shouting in the middle of the night. Room stank of sewer, cleaning staff burst in without knocking. Renovations going on in Hallways and building site outside window, first floor. Extremely disappointed, left property after 2 days due to this, no compensation, very difficult communication with management, virtual assistant

The property was immaculately kept. And the room was clean. From check-in to check-out, all of it can be done independently. Beverages that were prepared was sufficient and was generous. However, the code to access and enter the property was rather difficult to access especially from a foreign country. we were lucky to have a good samaritan came by and helped us out.

Be prepared for conflicting messages and overall confusion on when you can actually check in. The idea of a contactless hotel check in is great. But when you’re WhatsApping with AI, automated messages, and different agents, there’s zero clarity. The numa system needs to be improved.

This was a very nice property with a small restaurant and great breakfast. Caution for people though as the check in is all done on line with no front desk. For some reason we did not get the email with instructions for check in which created a unwanted problembut we were able to sort it out in an hour or so. It would ha e been easy had we received the email. Also make sure to prebook parking if required

VG. Fancy/over techy light switches let it down

The apartment was large enough, beds comfortable and facilities good. Only downside really was the lights. The control panel was confusing and didn't seem to have any logic to it spent 10 minutes trying to get the small bedside light to work after getting it to work easily the previous time. The bathroom lights were very dim.

My stay at Numa Hamburg

Overall I enjoyed my stay, and was suprised how easy it was to access the property and room using the keypad. My room had complimentary beverages and nibbles waiting for me. The area is very quiet at night, so no need to worry about traffic or people being noisy. I initially thougt I had a problem with the electric kettle, and emailed Numa who replied within a day - but I solved the problem myself once I had figured out how to properly use they control panel in the room. Also the property is only a 5 min walk from the S bahn station.

The only negatives for me was the mattress - it was too hard, and it would have been nice to have a glass in the bathroom for a toothbrush.

The room included a small Kitchenette, which was convenient (although the dinnerware only had one cup). The building is near a high-traffic street, so if you sleep with open windows, expect to hear ambulances throughout the night. Rooms are modern and practical, but only tended to / cleaned once a week, so be prepared to make your own bed and wash the dishes on your own. Breakfast selection is very, very limited. It is not like a hotel, where you at least have several \"Continental-breakfast\" choices. Here you get to choose between a two sandwiches, a couple of Croissants (plain or with chocolate), and a bowl of yoghurt with fruit. That's it! Finally, there is no on-site Front Desk. All communication with the staff is electronic, mainly by WhatsApp. They do respond quickly, but it is \"unusual\", to say the least, if you're expecting this to be like a regular hotel. It is not. No front desk, no restaurant. But all-in-all, it worked out fine, with the exception of one night with a screaming/yelling and furniture-moving neighbor. Limited parking available on-site at an additional cost. You can park on the street, although it is often challenging to find an available parking space. The property is clean and modern. The area is a business / office district, without any commerce or restaurants. The closest train station is about 900 meters away, which is a nice walk if the weather is good.

The room was small and efficient.

The bed was comfortable, the sheets were OK.

The bathroom was small. Everything worked.

The only inconvenience was the parking. If one parked in the building's area, the cost was $15 (US Dollars). However there was free parking in the street if you searched.

The rate of the hotel at $185 was way too high for what they offered.

The stuff is very friendly and helpfully.
All property elements are modern and very good quality and conditions.
There are the effective, noiseless AC system, the controlled shadow shatters, so you feel very comfortable in the room without relative to hot weather and street noise. The kitchenette is included all necessary facilities. That is what I liked.
I didn't liked the bed and the pillows. The bed is too narrow and the pillow is too thin.

This place is perfect for long term stay either for business or personal trips as the place is well equipped with amenities. Conveniently located near the bus stops with multiple buses that goes to the airport as well as the metro/train station that gets you into the center of Hamburg. The hotel also provides free shuttles to the airport. Staff members are very helpful and friendly. The place is brand new and everything is organized in thoughtful manner. Highly recommend for those who want conveniences of staying at a hotel yet being able to cook and do laundry.

The property was a very nice apartment suite and super clean. I did not realize that the room is not serviced unless you are staying over a week, but it was not a big deal. The included breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Good location to access bus (to U-bahn) or train (S-bahn). Most travelers in this area seem to be here for business, as there is not too much around in terms of restaurants. But again, access to city center is not difficult (about 25 minutes away).

Fine, but with some annoying parts

In some ways the hotel is nice - it's in a quiet location, it feels quite new and clean, and the furniture is nice and comfortable. Price was also reasonable. It was a 1km walk to the Ubahn station that I needed.
But, a few things were rather irritating. Firstly, I was told the free airport shuttle would run until 11pm, but when I arrived at 10:45pm, I called the number I was told to call and was told that the last shuttle had already left. We took a taxi instead. It's not a big deal, but this information should have been clearer.
Secondly, the switch to the light in the bathroom didn't work, so we couldn't turn off the bathroom light. We didn't discover this until midnight of the first night. It wouldn't have been so bad, except there was a glass panel in the room (frosted glass) so the light from the bedroom shone right into the bedroom - right where the bed was. We told the hotel next morning, but they couldn't fix it until the following day, so we had 2 nights with the bathroom light on. We did get some compensation for this, but it was still quite disruptive.
All in all the hotel was ok, and maybe these are just teething issues with a new-ish hotel, but still, I am not particularly motivated to book this hotel again.

Excellent location for parking and easy for public transport plus aquick stroll in Central Park is a possibility. Even though no AC the electric window shutters and thei room's cooling system kept the room cool during the hot 2018 summer. Breakfast was excellent in a cozy outside area. Well worth considering the price.

We really enjoyed our stay here, there was a lovely and relaxed atmosphere with great outside space and people enjoying drinks on the terrace. Rooms are amazing, stylish, clean and spacious and a great breakfast is available. Parts weren’t quite finished (washing machines) and my only criticism is that my boys had to share a blanket and a second cushion was provided only on request. Positives far outweigh the negatives though and I would definitely recommend a stay here. Amazing value!

The hotel property is beautiful and in a good location near the Hamburg Airport. The room was well appointed as a small apartment, the bathroom is spacious and the kitchen is very well done.

Only tow negatives, bed was a double instead of a usual queen size for two people and the second problem was that when we called for the airport shuttle at Hamburg airport staff forgot to explain the shuttle bus was shared by its sister hotel Holiday Inn across the road. We waited for a shuttle that had MY 4 Walls lettering and only by luck found the Holiday Inn bus was the shuttle after asking the driver of the Holiday Inn shuttle.

Please tell staff to inform customers it is the Holiday Inn Shuttle and some time add the name MY 4 Walls to the shuttles lettering.

Great stay, spacious room for family of 5 (including baby cot).

Room was clean, well equipped with sufficient towels and kitchen utensils (pots, pans, cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, etc.). You could make your own coffee or tea (capsules and tea bags provided, even oat milk!) - and there is an essentials room in the basement for extra towels or other necessities.

Check in and out process was very smooth with a pin provided and scanning a QR code at check out.

Sufficient parking outside (free from 8pm to 9am - otherwise 2 hour free parking with Parkscheibe).

Only con is the location: you need a car and it’s around 20min from the city center. Other than that, we were happy and would stay again.

Wenn ich ein Hotel in Deutschland buche erwarte ich in Deutsch angesprochen zu werden und nicht in Englisch. Von einer Internetseite erwarte ich das zumindest der Knopf zum Umschalten der Sprache funktioniert und nicht einfach nichts passiert ( Text blieb in Englisch)

Wenn ich ein barrierearmes Zimmer buche ist eine Säule mitten im Durchgang ziemlich störend.

Der barrierefreie / berrierearme Zugang im Hotel war überhaupt nicht ausgeschildert bzw von außen überhaupt nicht zu erkennen. Ebenso konnte ich einen Kurzzeitparkplatz oder einen Weg dorthin nicht finden. Das ist nicht hilfreich um eine gehbehinderte Person zum Hotel zu bringen.
An der Parkplatzeinfahrt befand sich nur ein Schild mit dem Hinweis, dass die Einfahrt nur für zuvor reservierte Parkplätze möglich sei.

Hotellet i sig själv är det inget fel på men det känns som att det ligger i en industri/kontors område. Det finns ingenting i den direkta närheten förutom Stadsparken som är härlig att promenera i. I övrigt upplevs området som ödsligt.

Der var det man forventer sig af et morgen bord, så er tilfreds og det værelse vi havde var der rigtig god internet og værelset var rent og i god stand - jeg kunne ikke få strøm i stikkontakterne, men det var der en grund til 😂 så alt var super fint og lækker parkings kælder

Glimrende værelse. Morgenmaden var godkendt, uden at være prangende. Fik alt for meget info tilsendt; på for mange platforme - det kan gøres bedre og mere simpelt med samme effekt.
