Quaint House to spend the night in or a weekend get away when passing through the Columbus area. Wish we had more time to visit the cute shops in the area. We stayed to go to a Blue Jackets game. Easy access to the city. Will keep this on our list of places to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is very charming and nicely decorated. Everything was super clean and the extra amenities like shampoo were great (there was even a welcome gift!). We generally bring our own bedding to sleep on, but these sheets were so soft and clean, we decided to give it a try. We slept like babies! The beds were also much more comfortable than most hotels we stay in. We will definitely be making reservations for another stay! (Bonus was the Local Cantina just a few blocks over - the food was wonderful)

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. It’s a nice old converted house that is in good shape. It is within walking distance to the quaint little town of Canal Winchester. The honors make it easy to communicate with them. And the rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

This guest house is eclectic and unique! Beautiful old home renovated for guests. Our room was well equipped & nice and clean. The bathroom was small, but we didn't mind that at all. I read another review about street noise, but we were on the street side, and really didn't notice much if any noise. Kathy is lovely and very welcoming..all in all, a great experience. Thank you!

Room was upstairs; it was too warm in mid-May even with the window AC.unit turned up, and ceiling fan on full tilt. Very close to town, so enjoyed walking to it for coffee and such (there was an art show outdoors in town, while there). Room was very clean, but a bit smaller than l thought. The bathmat did not have a rubberized botton and was on the floor when l entered, so l almost fell when l slipped on it (so beware). Great neighborhood to walk in, with sidewalks, and close to a playground and the library.

Perfect for a Girl's Weekend- mother-daughter trip
My adults daughter and I stayed at this property for a Girl's \"weekend\" to see the total eclipse in April. This property was just perfect for us! We felt safe in the area, and it was very quiet at night (and during the day). Cute historic area to walk to for dinner. If you are looking for the perfect place to have a Girl's weekend or small family reunion, this is your place! Each of the 3 rooms have 2 double beds! And there is a cute Parlor for the guests to sit in (as well as a beautiful outdoor area). We stayed in the Buchanan room and basically had the parlor to ourselves, which was just out side our room! If we are ever near Canal Winchester again, we will definitely stay here!

No one is available to let guests into the guest house. Guests are sent a code electronically several hours before arrival time, and that information can be missed if someone is driving. Once inside, guests have no significant flat surfaces for laptops, etc, other than the bed. Bathrooms are extremely tiny, and any electrical grooming must be done before the bedroom mirror.

We needed a place to rest as we were in town for an event and this place was perfect. Very relaxing and peaceful. Room was very neat and tidy, decor was pretty and even though is was raining I was able to get up early make coffee and take stroll around the home and the neighborhood. I had to stay overnight due to road conditions. Kathy was kind enough to let me have an early check in, and after spending 5 hours at the airport, it was much appreciated. The fireplace in the room is such a nice touch. The room was VERY clean, the bed was comfortable and I had the best sleep I've ever had while staying somewhere other than home. I didn't get to enjoy the entirety of the house, but I will be coming back in the summer and taking full advantage of such a peaceful, homey atmosphere. Thank y'all so much!!

Carraway House was great! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. It is an old house but cozy. You can have a bonfire if you would like or just sit outside and enjoy the neighborhood. It's in a safe area and close to downtown for food and entertainment. I would recommend it!

We were visiting family in Columbus and we decided to stay at the Carraway house in Canal Winchester. I can only say that we enjoyed ourselves and that Marc and Kathy were very good hosts. I would highly recommend if you want to have a little quieter less hustle bustle this would be the place to stay.

My stay at The Gallaway Guest House was amazing. I felt at home here. Kathy and Mark are very personable, and kind. The accommodation was very cozy. I stayed in the Daisy Buchanan suite on the 1st floor. It is quiet, quaint, and comfortable. Very peaceful. I loved the fact it does not have a television, so no distraction in that respect. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends if they're traveling through Canal Winchester.

My mom and I came to OH for a family gathering, and found the Carraway to be a quiet, comgortable place to stay. Kathy and Marc were charming hosts, the short walk to the main Canel Winchester stretch gave several options for dining, and the house itself was so charming. We both have said we'll stay there again next time we're in town.

The owners of this charming guest house texted us instructions on the day of check-in, texted again during our stay to see if we needed anything, and left a fresh basket of coffee & cookies outside our door.
