It was myself and my two daughters. We stayed there for a tournament the first night we realized that the phone didn't work in our room and some of the lights didn't work either in the middle of the night someone came and knocked on the door. The woman asked for a comb that had brace in her hair very suspicious. We did not eat the breakfast because we were running out of time but the next night, a different set of people knocked on the door. They were drinking in the hallway very loud all throughout the night could barely sleep. They were cigarette burn holes in the sheets. They probably need new ones. We asked for extra towels and washcloths the gentleman at the desk politely said I have towels, but we don't have washcloths here, even though there were two in the room already we tell the front desk about the people being loud in the hallway and their response was they're only staying for one night when I turn my key in the next day, I was told by the young lady at the desk that there were several complaints about the same people that I complained about they kept them up throughout the night

So here is my honest opinion! We only paid 236.00 for our 3 day trip to Columbus,Ohio… with that being said… I’ll say that you get what you pay for! Now… the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful! They don’t have an elevator! So, we had to carry our luggage up the stairs! The inside of the room loos just like the pictures posted online! However, a few of the lamps in the room didn’t work… there was water bubble on the ceiling over the television, assuming something from the room above leaked down and the ceiling was just never repaired… then once inside the bathroom (which was actually very nice!) I noticed there was another water stain on the wall behind the bathroom door! …. other than that I had no real complaints about my stay. … like I said… I paid $236 bucks for three nights and tbh I kinda prepared myself to have an uncomfortable experience but I was prove otherwise!

Initial impression was good, friendly reception, prompt and courteous service and visually pleasing atmosphere. But then we went into the room.... Old, outdated and needing updates and repair and not all that clean.
Finally, breakfast was basic. Sausage patties, but no eggs except some hardboiled, refrigerated eggs. Waffles and cold cereal and packaged muffins.

First the good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. However, the hotel itself is a little run down. Flooring in rough shape and just needed some love. And we were disappointed that there was no working elevator. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but our son was three weeks out from acl repair surgery and the steps were difficult for him. Our room wasn't very clean. There were smudges, dirt, and stains from what looked like some kind of substance running down the wall, floors and door casings were dirty and it looked like someone had marked all over the floor. The pull out sofa bed didn't have a cover and the mattress had stains. There was lvp flooring which was nice but it was sticky. And FYI, the doors to the bedroom section of the suite have glass panels so no privacy for those traveling with children or other adults. Just disappointed in the overall lack of cleanliness.

The area this hotel is in is frightening, thugs in the parking lot, thugs flexing on you as you walk in. There is major road construction in the area, so the workers are staying in this place, be prepared for pickup trucks with no existent exhaust systems starting up at 5am. Any fast food establishments near by are shut down and abandoned. When to the gas station down the road for coffee, they were out, was met by more thugs and drugged up hookers there. Stay far away from this area.. Hell Hole!

Asked front desk for extra towels never received ended up asking a housekeeper in the hall for towels. Toilet was clogged, no maintenance available, they gave my husband a plunger. The hotel is not in the best location which is obviously not the hotels fault but will not return.

The whole facility was filthy. The beds were covered in stains, dog hair, and crumbs. The carpets were covered in filth. The shower had black mold in it. And the whole place smelled like cigarettes, marijuana, and mildew. We checked out 30 minutes after we checked in. We were supposed to stay for two nights. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and rude. We are still fighting for a refund.

I liked nothing about this property other than the lady at the front desk was nice. It was a good price, but the hotel was nothing like the pictures. The area was not safe or even close to the airport. Rooms were filthy and damaged. I could hear our neighbors as if they were in the room with us. Overall, I got no sleep and it was a horrible experience. I will never recommend anyone stay here. Not sure how this place qualifies as “good” on Expedia. Do better!! Not safe, not clean, not good!!

Do not go off of the pictures. They are extremely deceiving. This is a very old building that only had enough of a facelift to make it seem like a great place to stay in pictures, but when you walk in and see it in person you realize it was a facade instantly.

Upon check in, the woman at the front desk made sure to tell us this was a strictly no smoking property, yet the hallways reeked of weed.

In addition, people had their hotel room doors open and lounging in their rooms like it was a frat house. Maybe they live there long term?

Our bedroom smelled so heavily of cheap cleaner that it was incredibly overwhelming. A hotel room should smell fresh and clean when you walk in, but not as though you put you nose up to the bottle of cleaner itself.

Also, the bedroom door handle lock did not work when trying to lock it from the inside and the extra lock on the door frame broke off, so there was no way to keep anyone from coming in if they had a key (such as staff).

It didn’t take more than 5 minutes for my boyfriend, daughter and I to feel unsafe and dirty. We chose to be refunded and went to a different hotel for the night.

I have stayed at plenty of La Quintas before, but never have I seen one I chose not to stay the night at.

If you are used to a somewhat nice, but not over the top place, this STILL isn’t the place for you.

We ordered a suite but got a different room. There is no hair dryer in the bathroom. Random stains on the mattress and the couch. And each time we left the room the room cards would demagnetize. I haven’t had this issue so frequently at other hotels. Walls have no soundproofing , would clearly hear every conversation happening in the hallway. Tv service was great, staff were quick to help.

This hotel is not in a good place. During my nights stay I had one of my tires slashed. Am still waiting on reply from hotel about security cameras.
At the Toyota dealership I went to replace tire the mechanic, receptionist and the person checking me in did not recommend that area.
I personally would not recommend this hotel because of it’s location, but the staff was good.

Looking online the rooms looked modern and clean. This hotel doesn’t use the actual pictures of the hotel online. They use pictures from other hotels that are newer and post them.When I arrived the room was not modern and very dirty. Once I walked into the room there was a nasty smell. The bed comforter was white with a big black spot, behind the door was a huge dried old cheese, the closet had torn wood, the refrigerator was dirty with white stains, the microwave was dirty with brown stains, the wall below the window had brown stains. The room was so dirty that I could not sleep in the hotel. I checked out and found another hotel to stay in for the weekend. Overall, to do not recommend staying in this hotel due to the dirty, smelly, outdated rooms. Even the hallways are dark and outdated and smell as well. This is the worst hotel I ever saw.

This place was the pits. You walked in and the smell of marijuana was so strong, You could barely breathe. When we got into the room, there was a great big cockroach in the bathroom, and the toilet seat had to be bolted back on because it was very very loose. The towels in the bathroom were so thin that you could see through them.

The carpet in the hallway were so dirty and greasy kinda look like they were used for oil changes. Again, walking through the hallways the smell of marijuana was so bad. It was almost sickening. We were locked out of our room six times because the key cards would not work properly.

I would not recommend this property for my dog to stay in. I will never stay in a La Quinta Inn no matter what part of the country it’s in.

The only reason we stayed as long as we did as we went through a booking service and could not get out of that without having to pay for all three days of the room.
As far as your property, there was no redeemable redeemable characteristics about it

The mattresses were horrible and broken down, the walls were marred and the ceiling had exposed angle iron holding it up. I DEFINITELY did not feel safe in the parking lot, very scary area with lots of people smoking weed in there cars or right by the door. Broken glass and used condoms in the dog walking \"patch\" of grass and dirt.
Mini fridge had freezer which as a plus and bathroom was brand new which was lovely. Breakfast was good and area kept clean.

Our experience on April 15 was absolutely traumatizing. This hotel is \"absolutely disgusting\" and profoundly \"unhygienic.\" The moment we walked in, we were hit with a nauseating, thick smell of mildew and decay that made it hard to breathe.
The safety issues were even more alarming. Our room door looked like it had been beaten down—the frame was splintered and the lock was compromised. It felt incredibly \"dangerous\" and completely insecure. Inside, the room was \"gross\" beyond belief: stained surfaces, layers of grime, and visible mold. We didn’t even put our bags down; we left immediately.

Crucially, we cancelled our booking at the front desk that same day (April 15) because the conditions were uninhabitable. However, the staff failed to actually process the cancellation and kept our money. This is dishonest and predatory.

We are expecting a full refund immediately. No guest should ever be charged for being offered a broken, filthy, and dangerous room. This establishment is a health hazard and a security risk. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else.

The room seemed hastily cleaned. I had to ask to have the desk chair changed because it was extremely soiled. And the two times I stayed here, I needed to swap rooms after check in because the shower's didn't drain properly. The second room was almost always better. But I eventually went and purchased drano for the shower drain.

Breakfast was very good. Waffles daily, juice, sausage, and a choice of cereals and breads. Better than paying for Waffle House.

Staff tend to be 2-3 star. But they basically give you what you want, if you ask.

I had to have my keys reset at least 3 times in one stay, an inconvenience, but not the end of the world.

Parking is free and cool. I have always been look out and see my car from my room.

Work out area is basic, but there is a planet fitness about a 10 minute drive away.

The room has a mini fridge, microwave, and plenty of outlets.

Location is off Brice Rd and I70. There is a traffic light at the intersection to enter property, which is very helpful with the amount of road construction in the area.
The hotel was clean. There is a lounge (no bar) and an exerquise equipment room.
Service was great. They were helpful and provided extra towels when asked.
The room amenities were good with fridge, microwave, and TV. Ample outlets on night stands with standard plugs and USB.
Bathroom was comfortably spacious enough for two people.
Beds were not the most comfortable.
Continental breakfast is available.

The rooms were definitely not very clean at all. They look like they had been renovated but not kept up. We originally book a king suite(2 room suite) and were told they only have one of them and it was \"out of order\" due to a water leak. They didn't tell us this until they had already checked us into a room they knew was incorrect and I asked about the mix up. Anyhow, we worked out that issue and I was fine with staying in the current room and they were accommodating and gave us one night of our two free. It wasn't a horrible stay but the rooms were quite dirty and we had absolutely no towel bar or anywhere to hang wet towels after showering. There was dried CHUNKS of food on the couch and spots on the sheets. They was quite a bit of dirt around the toilet and the couch also. The breakfast was lack luster. Waffles, some fruit, oatmeal and sausage that looked a few days old. Also VERY watered down juice.
Overall it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed and the staff was friendly.

The room was disgusting, there were stains on the couch which looked like unsavory bodily fluids, old food stuck to and stains on the computer chair, grime on the phone. All of the towel racks in the bathroom were broken. The first bed when you walk in had a huge dip in the center of it like the box spring may have been broken. The staff at the front desk was super unfriendly and rude, the guy who checked us out was nice but other than that. Just about the only thing that was half decent was the shower and even that didn’t look very clean. After seeing the state of our room, we did not risk getting in the hot tub or pool. We tried to get a different hotel but due to multiple reasons all other hotels were booked within a 50 mile radius. Good luck if you stay here I hope you don’t get some funky disease.

Probably the worst hotel ever stayed at. There were bodily fluids, including urine, seamen, other bodily objects spread around the room. The mattress was completely stained yellow, and the locks on the door didn’t work. The bathroom door didn’t close, along with the closet door. We moved rooms, and the room we moved to, wasn’t any better. Overall, don’t stay there.

The walls to the rooms must be paper thin. We could hear the conversations/partying of guests across the hall from us all night long. When luggage was rolled down the hall, it sounded like it was inside our room. Knocks on other doors sounded like it was on our door.

The room itself was filthy the floors and the furniture we were immediately met with the strong smell of cigar, when we turned on the heat vent it was enough to make us check out immediately The Whole room filled up with the smell of urine like someone literally used the bathroom inside the vent also this hotel is advertised as airport but it’s not close I didn’t receive a refund and when I explaining to the front desk why I would rather go home and be in the dark (it was a power outage due to strong winds in Ohio) instead of their hotel he could care less and offered no kind of compensation not even an apology
