The whole hotel was hot. My room was hot and it was so bad that they switched rooms but still it took 3 hours for the room to cool. It looks like a renovation was done on rhe cheap.

The only thing they got right was getting me from ann to the airport. Otherwise it lookd loke the management is operating this property in a way to do the absolute least. I will not be staying here when i returns to Columbus l

This property needs updates very badly. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, bathroom layout is not good (if the shower door happens to be open, it will hit you in the head when you walk into the bathroom because it swings towards the main area AND the shower controls are located in a place where the water sprays on you when you turn it on. Shuttle was not working so they ordered a Lyft to and from the airport, which was fine, except it was not reliable due to the events in town that weekend. I would not count on the hotel providing a shuttle.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel, the night shift front desk agent refused to check me in even though I have a fully paid reservation for a whole week. She said she didn’t have authorization to check me in and management wasn’t available so I have to wait until the next morning to get checked in even though I paid for that night… I honestly couldn’t believe she was serious, it was a nightmare for me because I just arrived from a long trip and it was freezing outside and the area wasn’t safe but she didn’t care I was told to leave with no refund. Either she was having a horrible day and decided to dump it on the guest or it was just flat out discrimination. I will never forget that night.

Guest computer did not work, pool did not work, 1st day (no tv) askes for a remote, was given 3 broken remotes...the only guy who helped or cared was the older guy with no hair and glasses. I was permitted to check out late, which was nice. The shower water is broken you turn it to turn it off and it turns back on. the water is not hot hot. just luke warm in the shower. I was trying to be kind because its the holiday season, but I was highly disappointed.

Clean comfy rooms and Heaven from the front desk was super sweet! We stayed on a night when there was a big snowstorm. When I went out to my car the next morning, not only had they done an amazing job cleaning the lot for their guests, they had also shoveled between the cars! To me, that’s 5-star treatment for an affordable hotel. Will certainly recommend to anyone staying near the Columbus airport!

The first night of our stay the room next to us got into a domestic dispute three separate times the first time they were in front of my door I asked if they could stop yelling and go to their rooms then at 2am in the morning the real fighting started to happen screaming banging and woke my two kids up I called the front desk hut this was over an hour before the cops came to defuse the situation, then my second day of stay multiple cars were broken into of course the security mysteriously quit that night and there were no cameras of the parking lot the staff didn’t offer any assistance even though we had broken glass everywhere I had to clean it up no one offered to try and help clean it I’m so disappointed this was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had along with the fact that there was not much to choose from when breakfast was served almost everything was either cold or out of order

This was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. I hope the owner is reading this. I stayed at this location on 10/20/25-10/22/25 and was had to relocate rooms three total times. I was moved to different rooms because of the Fridge/Heaboard light not working in one room the second room had another electrical issue and then the last room had no hot water….

I was told by the manager whose name is Kathrine, that I will be getting a partial refund wish has yet to be seen. I also had a $60 black Belkin power mag that was “misplaced” in one of the rooms I was in and it was not found upon my departure date.

I left a voicemail for the manager and she has yet to give me a call back or any type of response to resolve my horrendous stay

I typically look for Holiday Inn Expresses everywhere I go as they are usually very consistent, clean, and affordable with great hot breakfasts. This one was an exception. There was a “master” light switch in the room that needed to be switched on before anything would work. The toilet paper holder was all but knocked off of the wall. The carpet was heavily stained, and the bathroom was poorly cleaned. The breakfast was luke warm at best, and I tried 3 different cartons of milk that were all curdled before giving up and settling for the watered down apple juice. I question why this particular facility is still part of the Holiday Inn chain, as it did not meet the expectations I have grown accustomed to given many stays at other Holiday Inn Expresses across the country.

When I made reservations.they said there was a shuttle to and from airport. They charge 8.00 day to park with 4 to 5 day minimum. They was told it was the honor flight be back same day so I could not park there. It cost me 30.00 for a taxi. So I don't recommend them to anyone.thank you.

Our room was supposed to be a king bed, we got 2 queens, the sink in the bathroom would not drain, the carpet had stains everywhere, scuffed up shower, furniture and walls. Our bedroom also felt musty even with the air conditioning on. very dingy all over. Will not be staying here again

We checked in, got settled and left for dinner. Then got back to the hotel around 8. There were kids running around all over the place inside and out. Our room key did not work, so after 5 trips to the front desk because our room key didn’t work the front desk girl finally decided to call maintenance to try to fix it! Now keep in mind, all our things are in the hotel room, which we can’t get into. The front desk lady wants us to wait in another room while we wait for maintenance to get there. We wait and after go back to the front desk, maintenance guys has to pry the door open with a crow bar, and then tells me that we can’t lock the door and should probably keep it propped all night. The front desk lady acted surprised that this was unacceptable, we demanded to be put in another room bc at this point it’s after 9:00 and still have not been able to relax in our hotel room. I expect a full refund!! This was absolutely ridiculous and we shouldn’t be expected to pay for a room, which we couldn’t even use for part of the evening because of their incompetent staff!! Will be reaching out to corporate!

Front desk check in gentlement was not in a good mood but still professional. The final night stay's front desk young lady was very friendly & helpful.
Hotel was partly under renovation & looked like in the completing stage. My very small room had no table lamp & was told the new lamps have not arrived yet. So was forced to finish my paper work under very uncomfortable lighting.
They could have offered a temporary table lamp. Also just don't understand why some hotels ( this one incl)udred9l9 chose to put the small refrigerator on the floor. Such a bad idea esp. for older guests. Not sure if the franchise owner was too frugal to hire better professional painter as the job was sloppy & new paint splash was everywhere & old fixture spot were sloppily covered by paint. Just not the best sight. At least was lucky enough not to have to bear the renovation's dusty stage. Overall, it's still a relatively comfortable stay. Thus 4- star.

My husband stayed at this hotel which was going through renovations which we were never notified about. The room close to his had a compressor outside in the hall which was on continuously. When he tried to call to the front desk the phone didn’t work. When he went down at 5:00 pm to the front desk she said that they would be leaving for the day. Well that was not the case and they were still there when he left for dinner. Plus the workers tracked the dust all through the hotel and in the elevator. When he was leaving for supper and told the lady at the front desk, she said we are doing renovations. If that was the case why not put him on another floor or why was it posted that they were doing renovations. He tried to call to speak to a manager but only was able to get a voice mail and she never returned our call. The room needed many repairs for furnishings and bathroom door that did not have a privacy lock. There was a tall shelving unit that had a safe but it was not attached to the wall and could easily fall over when opening the cabinets.

The hotel is old. In the bathroom, there are some rough repairs on the wall. They're not finished; there are still holes in the wall. In the bathroom, the electrical outlets are covered by the mirror and are unusable. The room was damp and had an unpleasant odor. I didn’t like it at all.

I will never stay in such a dirty hotel again . The staff that works evenings ( the younger female and male) were extremely rude and weren’t knowledgeable on anything . There was a power outage this hotel clearly doesn’t have back up generators and the power was out for 13 hours not once did the guy that worked that evening try to console anyone . Me room was extremely dirty on my first night I asked to be switched and was told they are sold out and I can’t get a refund because I already checked in even though I was there less than 30 min so I went to book at a different hotel . When I can bcc the next day they switched my room this time I dealt with dirty floors in room clogged sink and the cable doesn’t work. I was there 8 days 7nights. Everywhere except the front lobby it’s 88-91degrees the hallway floors are filthy there are no microwaves in the room each floor shares one microwave which 2/3 are broken. Horrible stay

The door to the bathroom got stuck on the bottom. Terrible sound to fully open and close. The \"accessible\" bathroom had a regular tub to climb into, not a walk in shower.
Breakfast wasn't kept at a high temperature, by the time I got to my table, the food was cold. Tables weren't wiped after each use..Staff at the front desk were nice and helpfull.

Check in was quick and simple though it was only a little difficult to find parking due to it being a busy night. Our room was very clean and spacious, however the microwave was in the hallway instead of in the room, this was not a big deal. The only problem is that the bed was very stiff and the pillows were too soft and plush. This made it a difficult combination to sleep and the ac and thermostat read at two different temperatures which made it hard to tell if the ac was working properly. Breakfast was good and checkout was quick the next day as well.

The floor felt damp but was dirty. Someone’s flip flop was under one of the bed’s. The shower walls still had hair on them. There were several long hairs on the comforter. The recliner looked dirty. Breakfast was lacking and not what we had come to expect at a Holiday Inn Express.
