toilet was falling apart; staff was nice; there were people in parking lot begging for money, food, water. AC worked; parking was good. Floor of hotel dirty; shower dirty; shampoo we had in room looked used and gooey on outside of it. This hotel was not worth the money at all. I was very surprised. I don't care how poor you are DO NOT STAY here. I was worried all night that my MC was going to be stolen!!

We turned the keys back in and did not stay. Drug deals were taking place in the front and back parking lots. Rund down. Not AT ALL as pictures online. We got the key and took a look at the room. The lights did not even turn on in the room but was run down from what we could see from the putside light shining in. There was a hole in the wall where it looked like a light used to hang. Was not worth any amount of money to stay there. Like it was fraudulent compared to the listing of the room and amenities. And I couldn't get my money back bc you had to give 24 hr. Notice. I feel like I was scammed. Avoid this place like the plague. Don't lose your money too.

Do not stay here.
Property was absolutely disgusting, there were piles of ash on my rooms floor, the entire floor was slightly sticky, and I booked a non-smoking room that reeked of cigarettes. There were large flakes of caked dust hanging from the ceiling. Holes in the sheets and comforters that had obviously been cut out to hide cigarette burns, and multiple stains throughout the bedding as well. The door lock shook with a tiny bit of movement and the deadlock didn't lock. The AC unit emitted an awful smell that didn't go away and while it did cool I'll give it that, was extremely loud. No fridge. TV wouldn't turn on and the remote was slimy. Ice machine was thankfully functional but I'm scared to know when the last time it was cleaned was. Will not stay again, did not feel safe as a solo traveler and wasn't worth even the lowish price that I paid.

I insisted on changing rooms because the 1st room was very moldy on the bathroom ceiling and was not clean. The second room was not moldy but was not especially clean. We did not have a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board or iron like the 1st room. I requested a refrigerator immediately on Wednesday evening and it took several calls, visits to the desk and a full 24 hours before we got the refrigerator. There were no wash clothes and when my roommate called about getting some, she was told she had to come get them herself. The door frames to the bathroom and entrance door are very rusty. The sheets were stained. All around the worst stay I have ever had.

The room had no towels or toilet paper. In the lobby yhey gives us the toilet paper and said they would bring the towels to our room. They never did. We had two with us or showers would have been rough. Speaking if the shower, the drain was clogged with a hair ball that took 15 minutes to clear. When house keeping came through on the second day, they left one towel, but took all the hand towels and wash clothes. Trying to speak to those in the Lobby was extremely difficult because they barely spoke English. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The room had bed bugs, unknown blood stains on bedding and no help offered from the management staff. Never brought us new blankets even when asked. When told there were bed bugs the staff told us to “go back to our room, it’s okay, they’ve already bitten you so its fine, can’t get worse” we then checked out immediately, which was early and we were offered no compensation for the night missed, which was $351 a night because of Sonic Temple and we then had to miss the remainder of the festival because of this. The front desk staff confirmed that they do not clean rooms before new guests. Told us there were not any rooms available to move us to, but then told someone in front of us that they did have rooms available, that she could rent by hour, if you catch my drift.

Expedia was great in trying to help but even they could not get ahold of management on my behalf. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We saw used condoms and drug needles on the ground near the stairs. Used bars of soap still in shower.

No refrigerator in our room which was no good as we had refrigerated medicine that we needed to keep cold.

When we needed additional toilet paper we were not able to get it as there was no response.

We will not be staying at this location again.

Great location if you’re attending any events at the expo center. The room wasn’t the cleanest but I went in thinking it was going to be much worse based on other reviews. No problem checking in/out. Saved a ton of money by staying here as there were many events going on and lots of other hotels had much higher rates and rooms sold out. Wasnt the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

Extremely unacceptable stay I booked through Expedia after relying on the positive reviews. Based on my experience, I seriously question the accuracy of those reviews.
I traveled six hours, trusting your brand. Upon arrival, I noticed the continental breakfast area had dusty, dirty tables. When I entered my room, I was hit with a strong cigarette smoke odor despite signing a no-smoking agreement.
I returned to the front desk, and the manager acknowledged the issue but stated the hotel and surrounding area were fully booked. He moved me to another room, which still smelled strongly of smoke, just slightly less.
D/t time constraints and no availability elsewhere, I had no choice but to stay. Once inside, I found serious cleanliness and safety concerns, including:

Heavy dust and dirt throughout
Burn holes in sheets and comforters
Smoke detector ripped from the wall and left in the safe
Broken light bulbs with exposed stubs (electrical hazard)
Dirty, stained lampshades, walls
Cracked and deteriorating bathroom ceiling
Unsanitary conditions, including human waste on the walls
Damaged toilet seat with burn marks
Loose, unstable faucet
These pose clear health and safety risks. I felt unsafe and left early after minimal sleep.
When I contacted the manager, he denied knowledge of these issues an

There was no breakfast. The room was filthy and smelled of smoke, I requested a smoke free room. There was no staff in the office when we checked out in the morning. There was vulgar writing on the wall , dirty floors, a hole in the bed sheet, no light bulb in one of the lights by the bed, the faucet in the bathroom tub dripped continuously, weeds around the facility and visibly not well maintained. This room was probably the worst and dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in. It was room 110. I would have probably left the premises but we came to Columbus for a concert and it was almost midnight when we arrived and we were to tired.

This was one of the worst places we have booked. The room smelled so bad of stale smoke. Homeless people milling about. Toilet didn’t flush. We walked in. Walked back out. Got a change of room- walked to the room- left the car near lobby. Walked in 2nd room -past a pile of human feces next in the stones right next to the walkway- Walked in the room and back out. . Nope. Back to office to cancel. It was nasty. And we are not picky people at all- we are campers. So we are okay with roughing it. Nope not here. Didn’t feel safe at all and was not clean.

Horrible stay. We arrived to a two twin bed room when my husband booked a king size bed. We got there and entered a freezing room and after an hr with the crappy heater going we realized it was blowing cold air so we had to move to another freezing room and get ready for our event. We left the heater going all night still freezing by morning. Tv didn’t work and most of the light bulbs in the room didn’t work. Cigarette ash all over. We come to the area multiple times each month for events and always stay at the Wyndham’s but this was the first time at this exact location and we will NEVER stay there again. It was dirty and un welcoming. Do not stay here!!

We went for a family emergency, the room was non refundable. I have photos of the room and how disgusting it is. It had holes in the walls separating the floors and the walls. There were cob webs all over the ceiling and corners. The refrigerator had food and crumbs from the previous guests. There was black mold on the ceiling by the front door the heat didn’t work the thermostat was set on 86 and it was so cold in our room the drinks froze & we had to go to our car to heat up. When we got to the hospital we were told to never stay in any of the local Days Inn due to unsanitary conditions. I am shocked that this hotel was even supported by Hotels.com. This was not a cheap cost for us. It should be refundable without question. Like I said I have photos.

Arriving at the hotel, I could immediately see this hotel was in need of a \"Facelift\", even a fresh coat of paint would have improved it! I was staying with various family members so it was too late to change your hotel.
Although the bedding was OK, other items, such as towels showed worn. In my particular room the shower/bath diverter did not work, and the painted over bath insert was peeling. My brother was in another room and he said he found some splattering of blood on the bath counter, while friends in another room woke to a nearby guest wretching off the balcony at 2 a.m. I don't think I'd ever stay there again and the best thing I can say about the hotel is good location!

The room was okay with the exception of the super sticky floor. You needed to wear shoes at all times when walking through the room. The outside was absolutely horrible. Dirty drug needles in the “landscaped” areas. There’s no way that I’d ever feel safe there alone. People were up and down the sidewalks yelling and carrying on. Not a safe place!

I believe they are used to house the homeless, there was evidence of this in the trash recepticals and by the generally unkempt people that were loitering around. It's an 'industrial' area, the local supermarket clerk advised us against walking in the area after dark. TV and telephone were inoperable, since we came back at about midnight from the OSU game, we were able to sleep, but I'll never use this establishment again.

What I really didn't like is that I paid for the room on my hotels.com account and was charged by the hotel as well ( they later refunded it) but only after I complained. How often do they do this is my question???
The hotel also refused to give me a receipt when I checked out since I had booked with a third party site.

Please know this is motel style lodging. There is no elevator to the second level. The room is adequate for sleeping. The bathroom tub and surround were painted and the paint was peeling. The free breakfast was meager, had to ask for coffee cups, pastry was very stale. No one cleaned the room and we had to turn in the dirty towels to housekeeping to get fresh ones. The Comfort Inn is next door and they have an indoor pool. The Days Inn is in a great location for the Expo Center and the stadium. Unfortunately there is road construction right in front of the driveway. There is a McDonald's nextdoor for a quick hot breakfast. There are no lounges or gathering spaces.

I should just run from the Days Inn franchise. Place was run down and dirty. Shower dripped all day. No hangers, no fridge (but looked like one was there previously.) Location was scary too. Lots of homeless people around. Had to use rides share to get anywhere except McDonalds. Pool was closed and looked like it hadn't been open in a while. No maid service. 2nd worst property I've ever stayed.

Ever wanted to stay in a trash can?

Hotel was dirty, sheets were crusty, towels had stains, wallpaper falling off, the measurements for the bathroom install was still written on part of the bathroom wall. Went to ask for new sheets but we were told housekeepsing wasnt there and wouldnt be back until tomorrow. The next day our sheets were not changed. My key card stopped working and they got angry when i had to go back to the office 3 times to get in. Will never be back to this dump, id rather sleep under an overpass its probably cleaner.

So many things turned me off about this property. Some of the more important aspects that need to be taken care of our safety and security. Upon entering our room room, the very first thing we noticed was that the door latch was not properly secured to the door that could potentially cause an issue for entering and exiting the unit while it’s unlocked. A big fire safety hazard if someone gets stuck in their room because the latch is catching on the couch plate. Also, the smoke detector was removed from the room, multiple plugs in the outlet and one had sheathing that was cut or torn, exposing wire. The bed was lumpy, toilet head, a mold, ring, dirty lampshade, switch plates and outlets. Both the mini fridge and microwave were dirty, and even though the floor looked clean, the bottom of my feet proved otherwise after taking a couple steps without my shoes on. The linens and towels seem to be clean. Wallpaper was peeling in many places in the unit. Several flies and gnatsin the unit, some dead in the windowsills.

I came for a concert that was at the fair. The room was very dirty, even the shower. The beds are horrible. There was no breakfast. Vending machines were empty. People were yelling down at you from the balconies, which is weird. I was grateful for the location though and I could just walk to the concert because parking was crazy for the fair.

The room was okay and bed comfortable. Bathroom small. There was not much in way of breakfast. You could hear people arguing outside until the morning hours.

Get what you pay for. Sheets had a few stains on the sides, bathroom wall and door was very cracked and just looked old and run down. We wore flip flops even in the shower as floors and shower didn't look very clean. Worked for what we needed though and only bugs were gnats.

The best I could do

The pool was closed, looked lile for a long time , the grounds were 3rd world as fas as cleanliness went it wasn't your regular Days Inn. It didn't look like the pictures in the travel brochures. The place was always packed , which means they make a lot of $$$$$, so hire some help to keep up on your investment. If you advertise a pool make sure its open.

Shower was old and had nothing to hold on to. Toilet didn’t flush properly. No hangers. Clock was dirty and broken. Bed very high and too soft. Only stayed here because of closeness to Ohio State Fair.

Room floor was not swept or mopped. Door was hard to open and latch didn’t seem secure. My son and I didn’t feel safe being there and opted to drive the hour home at midnight in lieu of staying.
