It was a pleasure to stay there every thing was top notch. The short travel time to Our Venue was amazing. Staff was very friendly and courteous, and very helpful, which made her stay that much more enjoyable! Clean room well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable and clean. We had a great stay at The Olentangy. It was convenient to The Stadium, within walking distance. It was easy to navigate around the area as well. Nice surprise of breakfast sandwiches and delicious coffee shop. The noise level was minimal, the beds were comfortable. The floors were a bit dirty and the fridge did a weird flashing of the light all night long, but wouldn't deter us from staying. Overall great pick!

On our second day there were two tweakers camped out in a car about 2 doors down from ours in the morning and it was never made apparent if they were staying at the motel or just decided to sit with their doors open blasting music for hours.
Bathroom left much to be desired, but everything was functional. Beds were comfy. Fridge was great, K-cups were appreciated.

It was not the best. The reviews I read really made it sound great. The breakfast that was included was a sandwich and a coffee which we did not partake in. There were some dead ants in the bathroom, but overall it was enough for one night.

We had a one night stay for pride festival. The room was perfect. A short Uber ride to down town. Clean comfortable bed. The water pressure in the shower was great and the coffee was even better. I will be staying again my next trip to Columbus.

The room was sufficient. Two beds, a good shower, and the air conditioning worked well. The refrigerator was leaking water into the pan below it. The smell of marijusna seeped into the rooms. While breakfast at the coffee shop was included, you were limited to one of two egg sandwiches even though other options were less expensive. If you were not able to eat eggs, there was nothing for you that was included either your stay. Seems like a set price range could easily be included with the room and guests should be able to select what they want to eat. There was no elevators all luggage needed to be hauled up the stairs. Our room was not cleaned. Not sure why. The trash was not emptied either. Only one small bar of soap in the room. All in all it was sufficient, but, I would not stay there again.

Room wasn’t even cleaned. Bed was made and that’s it. Dirty floors, crumbs left everywhere. Spider web by the a/c with a dead beetle when we first arrived. Had a huge problem with ants everywhere. In our bed, shower, tables, floors and walls. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night with checkout Sunday morning. Addressed this issue Friday at midnight and the worker said that there was no manager in office at all on the weekend, and only a shift lead scheduled at 8am on Saturday. They said that they would leave a note for the housekeepers and that’s all they could do. Wake up Saturday morning with dead ants all over our bed towards the end of the bed. Came down to staff to talk to alleged shift lead around 10am Saturday morning and there was no shift lead on call, said that they just left. I asked again if housekeepers could come help with the ants and staff said they would leave a note again to come clean around 11am since we would be out of the room. Came back around 5:30pm Saturday and the room was not touched, left exactly how we left it and ants were still everywhere. We left the hotel again in hopes they would clean it, came back around 1am and still dirty. Checked out at 11am on Sunday and asked for a shift lead and refund, stated that yet again shift lead just left and that a manager would be in around 1pm. Regular staff was alright in handling this issue but very disappointed with the lack of management and care. Waste of over $300 for 2 nights

2nd time staying here. Close to Ohio State campus. Room was clean and price was good. It is a motor inn so outside doors & some of our neighbors were noisy but not the motel’s fault. We had an issue with our key card not working and the overnight manager handled it quickly with a friendly demeanor. Free breakfast was a choice of 3 different breakfast sandwiches and a black coffee. Could get specialty coffee or other food items for a fee as it is an actual coffee shop on site. Sandwiches were tasty.

Shower door didn’t stay closed so we did have to use a washcloth to push in between the two doors to keep it closed. Otherwise room was good. Quiet and comfortable. My daughters and I really enjoyed this cute little motel. The room was comfortable and the coffee shop was yummy. It was far enough outside of the city to feel secluded, but the drive to our venue was short and easy. Highly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable no-frills motel with a cafe in the lobby. They offer a free coffee and breakfast sandwich if you're up early enough (ends at 9am on weekdays). Room isn't very spacious. Neither is the bathroom, but it's nice having the sink and mirror outside the bathroom. The room only had one very small trash can, which really wasn't enough for our two day stay. The A/C unit was pretty noisy and didn't seem to cool the room off very quickly. It also didn't alleviate the humidity at all. Overall, a nice enough place to spend a night or two.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Walls are thin. Person next to us the first night had 1 or 2 dogs and when they left the dogs barked off and on. Around 11:30pm, front desk staff, I’m assuming trying to find out where the dogs were, tried to enter our room. When the women came back around 3:30am, they were up talking and you could hear everything. They were gone by our second night, so that was better. I called front desk to talk with them about the experience and manager wasn’t there and never called back.

The front desk is inside the coffee shop - dual function. 2 story motel building. It's located near railroad. Expect to hear train going by all day long. Breakfast is included, small coffee and a sandwich. Staying more than a night, the room won't get cleaned. Make sure you ask for it if needed.

The air conditioner didn't work properly, and when it did it leaked and left a big puddle on the floor. There were ants on the table between the beds. They ran out of breakfast sandwiches. It came with coffee which none of us drink. When we asked for milk instead, we had to pay for it. One of our keys didn't work. No Do Not Disturb sign for the door. Water pressure was not good and only had so much hot water. Parking was free - that was great! Beds were comfortable.

We had a great short stay. Clean room, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows, and a great shower. The only improvement I would add would be the check in process. I was literally just handed my keys and told have a nice stay. No info regarding the check out how or time, the breakfast offered, nothing about the cafe, it was odd but we figured it out. It’s a great eclectic stay but they could improve communication a bit. It would not deter me from staying again. Great location.

Rooms are priced medium to high but I always like staying here when in town because of the location. I've stayed here in the past when it was Varsity Inn. Rooms are nice, clean, and for the most part quiet. You might hear some passing freight trains on the nearby tracks. They offer a free coffee and breakfast sandwich with your stay from 6-9AM. Nearby are two other more expensive hotels so this one is not a bad choice by any means, especially if you are just passing through.

The stay was pretty easy. We were able to check in and out quickly. One thing to note is that the breakfast was too small and no variation. Another thing was that the bathroom lock was flipped in room number 117. This would be good for individuals but not family and we went there as family.

There was not a sense of fresh cleanliness smell, the floors were not very clean. This place needs to get their poop in a group and get it together! It's going down hill pretty fast! Clean and great breakfast i loved the coffee shop in the motel and 15 min from the historic crew stadium! Also close to alot of really good resteraunts. Only negative were a couple minor things. 1. I didnt like having to give my room number outside with others around felt like a security risk. 2. The maids came and did fresh towls but didnt take the trash? 3. The creamer left in the room for coffee was spoiled.

Front desk staff was helpful and the room was pretty clean except the floors. Wore socks the whole stay and they were all black on the bottom after spending only a couple hours a day in the room. In all 4 days we stayed room service did not come even once. Trash piled up in the outside garbage, presumably bc everyone was having to throw their own trash away like we had to. Ran out of towels and soap and asked for service 3 times during our stay and they never came. We had to get everything ourselves which is crazy given they charged double the normal rate for the festival. Felt taken advantage of because of that.

The doors on the adjoining rooms are so thin, you can hear everything and see light when you’re trying to sleep. The telephone had an annoying red light that wouldn’t quit flashing. I ended up throwing a shirt over the phone and putting a towel down to block out the light. The air conditioner also always smelled like something burning when it first came on.

The refrigerator in the room was incredibly loud. The breakfast was lacking as the coffee was always out and the people preparing the breakfast did not have good hygiene for food preparation practices. Additionally, we had lukewarm water at best in the shower the entire stay When I called attention to it with the staff, they said I’m so sorry about that. I asked if that was all they were going to do, they said yes. We were provided with two washcloths and four towels for four guests. No ice machine available as they were broken. It’s gone downhill a lot!

We have stayed here many times (maybe 10?) and it’s always been pretty good. However, we were recently there for the Luke Combs concert and it was absolutely horrible. Why? We stayed at the room at the end nearest the train tracks and the train must’ve gone by eight times. For the love of God it was horrendous. Constantly woken up and I’m a VERY heavy sleeper. This on top of the constant thumping foot falls in the room above us. Were they running a marathon?! There cannot be any insulation or sound deadening between floors. I’m still exhausted just thinking of it!
