I have been to Bayside quite a few times. It never disappoints me. The bartender was so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very neat and updated. There was a slight language barrier at the front desk. We would definitely stay again.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life.

I made a reservation from February 22nd to 24th. In the early morning of the 23rd, the hotel lost power. We were left without electricity and without heating during a snowstorm, in extremely low temperatures. The hotel does not have a generator, so we were freezing in our room.

Around 10:00 AM, we went to the front desk and canceled our second night. The front desk attendant wrote everything down on paper since none of the systems were working at the time.

However, we never received a refund for the canceled night.

I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances. There was no responsibility for the safety of the guests. We had to seek shelter in a local church because the hotel offered absolutely no support, even knowing that we were with children in total darkness.

Staff is very sweet and pleasant. Room was semi-clean. We found a bunch of pringles chips under one of the beds and we don’t buy or eat them so they were from previous guests. Pool seemed clean but both my kids broke out in a rash afterwards and they never experience that normally from Chlorine pools. Not a terrible experience but might try another place in the future.

There is no way to relax with kids running up and down the hallways until midnight. It's time for new carpeting, every footstep sounded like a drum. We had to call the front desk around midnight on Saturday, whoever quieted things down did a good job.
Your bartender needs to get a personality. She made you feel like a terrible inconvenience every time you ordered a drink. That was when you could get her attention. There was almost a fight between two women because one knocked down some dollar bills by accident. The bartender did nothing. Myself, and another guest diffused the situation. BTW, you are way overdue on donating those dollar bills to a charity.
This was probably our worst visit there in the 25 years or so we have been staying there.

There were issues. From construction on the property, to issues in the room, and finally being charged an extra $20 dollars for being at the property a few minutes prior to 4pm. The entire checking-In process took us past 4pm. It was our anniversary, and we won't ever go back to your facility, and we will recommend that our friends and family stay clear of it when they head out to Cape Cod.

Our NYE stay at Bayside was great! The woman who worked at the front desk both at night and the next morning was super helpful and moved things along to get everyone helped (multitasking- towels in and out, food being dropped off, people checking in, etc.)
Breakfast buffet was PACKED in the morning, but the staff really kept up. There was a wait for items, but honestly they were hustling and constantly refilling everything!
Im sure its just as busy here in the summer! Definitely a family resort, there were kids running up and down the hallway at all times, but we had our kids too so didnt bother us a bit.. and we always travel with our sound machine too!
Overall, a great family place to stay! Clean room & pool area!

If you want a hotel with 50 kids running and yelling in the hallways until 11 pm then this is the hotel for you! I was promised at check in that quiet hour was strictly enforced but it wasn’t. Terrible experience for such a nice hotel.

The kids loved the pancake maker but my mom couldn’t join us as there was no elevator to breakfast. Very scarce options for a vegan. (Ie no nondairy milk) The fire pits at night were so nice and relaxing. Kids enjoyed both pools. Mid/lower cape cod good location to explore. Staff was friendly.

The Bayside resort is position on a bay with a small beach and a great water view. There's a nice lounge and a fire pit for enjoying summer nights. The one negative is there isn't an elevator. If you have lots of luggage, try and get a first floor room. We were on the second floor.

My husband and I loved staying at this hotel, the room was standard, but the outside area was wonderful. We went to this area for a dinner train ride and when we returned to the hotel the outside fire pits were going with hotel guests sitting around chatting. The salt marsh was pretty with multiple species of birds including swans. We would love to stay here again.
