It was a really nice room, the counter in the bathroom was small, there wasn’t a ton of space to walk around or put luggage but it was cozy and clean. The water took over 15 minutes to warm up. The beds were comfy and the cottage was cute and convenient and the breakfast was good too. The staff was friendly.

The sunbird annex is just another row of rooms on the other side of the sunbird property. It is a very short walk from the annex to the main building. The staff couldn’t be nicer. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, and free, and the room was very clean. All of the mattress was a little bit uncomfortable. This isn’t an upscale motel by the furniture, but realistically who does much with the furniture. Add fridge and microwave. And again the staff was wonderful. Will definitely be returning often.

I will never book at this hotel again. I made a reservation with a card and couldn't afford to pay with that card. So, I contacted them immediately to cancel the room. I canceled in time to receive a refund. After that, I booked the same room again with a different card. I trusted them to cancel the first transaction. I was charged twice, $299, for a room with a blocked bathtub.

Paid a lot for cottage with private outdoor area. Room blinds broken with no curtains in bathroom. No privacy. Was forced to change rooms because they didn’t have blinds to replace. New room did not have smoke detector. Needed to wait for maintenance to add smoke detector to occupy second room. And then shower in second room did not drain and bubbled/gargled overflowed through the toilet bowl toilet would not flush drainage that was filthy was coming from the bathtub and the toilet serious plumbing issue. Forced to change room yet another time and this time no cottage was available and given a room with less amenities. No help was given to move items. Staff at desk during check-in was very nice but staff in the evening to facilitate the move were not pleasant and actually annoyed. Another room also had similar plumbing issues and was given a replacement cottage, which happened to be my original cottage because they fix the blinds for them but yet when I asked for that room, they told me it was blocked and not available due to mechanical issues. I was lied to. they gave it to another couple instead. I have not been compensated for cottage cost. I was told the manager would compensate. I expected full refund for this serious inconvenience & health hazard situation. Only positive thing about this resort is the breakfast and the attendant at the breakfast who was incredibly kind. having to change rooms twice in a 24 hour is not acceptable. Plumbing issues are not acceptable.

The room was all we needed to sleep comfortably for 4 nights. We liked that we had our own little private patio off our \"cottage\" suite. The only minor complaints we have are that parking near our room was tough to come by on a busy weekend, and the shower took a few minutes to get warm. Staff was kind and breakfast was good.

There was a small fridge and micro, but not a kitchenette, which I had been hoping for. 2 Queen beds, a desk & chair, and a decent sized tv. NETFLIX was included and I enjoyed and appreciated that. Indoor and outdoor pools. I had intended to use the outdoor one, but the weather turned cool due to an offshore hurricane. The pool was lit up at night with beautiful colors. I am returning in acouple of weeks with my brother and intend to use it then. All of the staff were very personable, too.

We had an amazing family stay at Sunbird! The kids loved the playground, spent hours splashing in both the indoor and outdoor pools, and even tried out the tennis court. Everything felt safe, clean, and designed for families. Between the pools, play areas, and friendly atmosphere, this resort made our Cape Cod vacation so much fun for the whole family.

I’ve stayed here many times in the past but this time I decided to stay in the “cottage”. They are falling apart and you can hear everyone’s footsteps and doors shutting. Not worth the extra money. The rooms are way better and cleaner. Breakfast was great as always and outdoor amenities were too. They need to upgrade the cottages and stop charging so much for them.

We stayed in the Annex which is the old section. The floor in our room was absolutely filthy. Threw away socks and put shoes on whenever we had to walk around. Non smoking but could smell smoke in the room from other guests. Air conditioner was very loud as unit was old.

And I was hoping to enjoy the inside pool but since my first day I have been told that they are working on it until I left the pool was still close. Showed up there immediately wanted to leave after getting not one but two rooms. Both were filthy had stains on the protector for the mattress that were from bedbugs.!! Contacted Expedia the hotel said they would refund me and they have yet to refund me. Expedia says every time they try to contact the hotel that they ignore it.!! I highly suggest that you do not come to this hotel and you spend your money elsewhere. I lost $174 of my hard earned money just trying to spend time in the Cape for My Son’s birthday.!!!

Overall a good stay. When we went to check in we were not greeted. The young lady was typing for some time until I cleared my throat and got her attention. We did not use the pools but I saw both and they looked nice and clean. The room was very clean, but there was some previous damage which I reported. The young lady just nodded her head. Didn’t take down the room number. I asked for extra blankets and initially I was told no because people steal them. I assured her I wasn’t going to steal them and got some. The bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels, but the water pressure for the shower wasn’t great. Having the sink and the vanity in the main room has pros and cons. It’s good you can brush your teeth without waiting for someone to finish in the bathroom, but late at night and early risers will wake others up. The air conditioner blew great cold air. The remote had a sticky residue on it so we didn’t use. There were a couple of planks loose on the top floor walkway. The breakfast was really good. One lady had to do all the work but she restocked everything as fast as she could and wiped the tables and food surfaces constantly. Top notch employee. The above is nitpicky stuff that can easily be fixed and would not prevent me from staying there again. It’s in a good location, the breakfast was great and it was clean. I can recommend.

First of all, I was pleased with our stay. What I wasn’t happy about was the housekeeping it was disgusting. The first day we were there, Nothing was done in our room except clean towels so when I called down to the office to let them know, there were ants on the floor and I would appreciate somebody to come and sweep they sent someone to clean up I was also told if I wanted a full housekeeping, I had to ask for it the ad reads daily housekeeping. I don’t know what it means others, but what it means to me is you clean the tub, floors, trash, toilet paper, towels, wash clothes, hand towels,where you just have the mirror with the sink ,You wipe all that down then you go over to where the TV is and wipe it down and then the last thing you have to do is sweep and wash the floor and empty the trash They couldn’t even do that. My granddaughter‘s hair was stuck to the shower wall for three days now let’s get onto the breakfast. It was amazing. I don’t remember the name of the woman who took care of the little dining hall. She was amazing. I wish everybody could’ve been just like her. She was tentative to all of the Guest. She always had a smile on her face. She was as helpful as if she was taking care of her own family. The lady who greeted us was a sweetheart. Both ladies deserve a big fat raise. See you next year.

The staff were kind. My son and I enjoyed our stay. I would recommend more attention payed to the cleanliness of the pools. I do understand staff is busy doing other things. The first day we arrived we discovered something we would rather not have in the outdoor pool.. not their fault. I have had a bacterial skin infection since I got home. I am not blaming them as I’m not sure where I got it…The pool is beautiful at night and lit up by LED lights the rooms are nice and bright and everyone was nice. The kids all had plenty of space to swim and play. It was a welcoming environment.

This place is in the most ideal location in Yarmouth, walking distance to some good restaurants and activities, but the room was not all that clean, little gnat flying around from the second we checked in, bathroom was dirty and that’s putting it nicely. Bathroom had hair from other stays on the floors and in the shower, all ice & vending machines were out of order. Overall and ok place to stay just wish it was cleaner.

The hotel charged me for the room even though I said that the I paid for the room through expedia. He would not let me check -in/out without paying again. When I showed them my expedia receipt, I was told that is what expedia collects but the hotel does not get any of that money. I was told< if I did not like that policy, I would have to take it up with expedia because paying twice is standard. That is very poor pr business and customer service. I will not be staying at this hotel again. Any I would like help to get a refund for the double charge.

Was pleasantly surprised! I got a great price for this room and wasn’t expecting very much but it was a nice, big clean room with modern decor and a super comfy bed .The lady and the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. She went out of her way to find me a room that was ready as I arrived early ( shortly after noon) She personally walked to the rooms to find one that was ready for me. Breakfast was nice too! Property needs some maintenance. In our bathroom they removed drywall at some point to make a repair, it wasn't replaced and a large hole was left which was the entire size of the vanity. The ceiling in our bathroom leaked. The caulking around the shower was very poorly done and just looked sloppy / bad. The room overall was OK, but there was no chair of any kind to sit in. The pool area approved nice and recently renovated and the outdoor area which offered Adirondack chairs, grills, fire pits appeared nice as well. I say appeared as it rained the entire time were were there.

The room was very clean! It was very quiet. It was a bit small...but the price was excellent! The heated pool was excellent and very clean! The breakfast was a full breakfast...eggs, sausage, home fries, toast, bagels, assorted pastries, cereal (hot & cold), juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Everything was very clean and tasty. We will be going again!
