The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a very nice neighborhood- ~ 5 minutes walk to Kata beach. The only thing that bugged me was that the room was severely dim light- not nearly enough light even with all the lights on (both in the room and the bathrooom). The management has to put in some effort to do some upkeep in this regard.

I had an amazing stay at Kata Poolside Resort! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Kata Beach, shops, and restaurants, yet still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The pool is a highlight: clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by plenty of loungers, making it the perfect spot to unwind.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept spotless throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the balcony and the overall cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome.
The on-site restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and it was so convenient to have the option of dining right at the resort. Between the great service, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable location, Kata Poolside Resort exceeded my expectations.

This property was a great find. All 3 of us loved it. Getting around was so easy and affordable. Small enough to be personal but big enough to have all the facilities. Rooms spacious and clean, pool beautiful, and the Lobster and Prawn Restaurant, which is adjacent, has a well priced varied menu. Oi and the staff were so pleasent and helpful too. We definitely look forward to coming back again!

Great value for money. Location very good just 5 mins walk to beach. Plenty of restaurants in close walking distance. The restaurant at front of hotel was superb. Packed every night and very reasonable prices. Only negative comment is they have a pool bar but obviously never used. Staff were very friendly and the room we had - deluxe pool view was newly renovated and the important thing, the bed was very comfortable.

Perfect for Mid Priced hotel
Not the swankiest hotel but great for the price and location if you want to be smack dab in the middle of everything. That said, it is recessed, so actually very quiet at night. The pool is gorgeous and pristine clean, very good service which is the standard in Thailand. We were very comfortable here. Especially since there was a ladder directly into the pool from our poolside balcony!

I’ve stayed here a few times and have always had a great time and service. I usually book a Saturday night when I go dancing with friends at the Palm! Safer not to drive home. However, on my last visit, I was visiting with a friend meeting me for dinner/dancing. He was there at check-in counter when I arrived, and after we had breakfast on the premises, my friend was also there at the front counter for check-out. I sat in my car for about 10mins after check out to check my messages. An employee accosted me at my car and demanded a copy of the passport of my friend: who was there at check in (and also asked to provide his ID and staff declined), at breakfast and check-out process. I have no idea why on earth they would bang on my car window to demand the passport copy of someone who’s not present?! Very confused. I’ve had a few good stays there and like the location and have recommended it to many people. After this, not sure if a repeat stay is in the future. My son likes it there. Manager was no help with my complaint of harassment.

The staff and management team amazing , rooms are cleaned daily, the food in there restraunt is 4 star quality , if you get stuck in a situation, the staff are quick to sort it out , over all if you’ve never been to Phuket, Thailand do yourself a favour book a ticket and go and explore, the culture is amazing the people are beautiful , it truly is the land of smiles , I’m going back in six months.

I recently stayed at the hotel for 10 nights in a room with direct access to the pool and a terrace. Room was lovely and good value.

The two ladies on reception were both extremely helpful during my stay ( one of the ladies even let me use her own personal mobile to contact Thai air as I only had a uk mobile which would have been charged at an expensive rate)

Vi havde 2 ugers skønt ophold på dette hotel, hvor værelserne var virkelig store, pæne og rene. Skøn pool, dog kunne det ønskes, at poolbaren var åbent bare en time om dagen. God morgenmad og virkelig sød og venlig staff, og så lå det så centralt, som det overhovedet var muligt med kort gåafstand til strand, by mm. Kan varmt anbefales!

PROS: Clean, quiet property, excellent housekeeping staff, comfy bed, strong air con & hot water, tons of dining & shopping options nearby. CONS: The power was out for an entire day, and the last 2 days the water turned brown, disgusting! After a week of tipping staff, I requested to checkout just one hour late and was told \"No.\" Btw, nearly everyone staying at this hotel was Russian and they are not the friendliest folks.

The place is a little run down but the humidity does this to hotels there, they keep it very clean the pool is great and for the cost I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a great option.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst travelling around Phucket. Loved the hotel and its location just set off the busy road. Perfectly located for the beach and transport links. Tons of bars/shops/restaurants and markets in the vicinity. Hotel was Friendly, clean and tidy with a delightful pool. We booked a pool view room and were delighted with our choice having seen the other rooms. Great restaurant too.

Some of the room facilities were lacking - kettle and cup but you need to bring/buy your own tea, sugar etc. Also no minibar in room as it’s ‘in reception’. Very young staff who aren’t always able to help with questions and no sign of manager despite asking twice to speak to someone. Pool is great but need to enclose/cover an area that a choke could fall into!!

Spent 3nites here the best stay i have had in Phukett, the pool amazing, the room fabulous excellent showers and the reception staff 10/10 except Nan she was 20/10 spoke excellent english and had a good ol chat with her food in restaurant fresh and delicious. Would recommend to anyone

The hotel is pretty good. Especially, with such price. The room is big, clean. There was a wardrobe with few hangers. It could be more, but that's okay.

This is a great low price option for budget travelers, but you'll be surprised how far your dollar goes here at the poolside. It was a nice place to come home to each night, with cold AC, a comfy bed, cleaned room, and spacious interiors. My single complaint is regarding the wifi...which was slow half the time and couldn't get (or stay) connected the other half. It's clear this resort needs to invest a bit in their technology. If they do, they'll be getting five stars more often than not.

Very spacious and comfortable hotel room, efficiently cleaned every day. The pool is fantastic for couples or family’s, and restaurant is nice with a large buffet breakfast selection. Convenient location to cross the road and get to Kata beach. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

It’s almost perfect
The resort is located about a 6-10 minute walk from the beach. The staff is friendly and reception speaks pretty good English. Our room has always been cleaned really well. Pools looked great even though we never used them since the beach is so near and the fresh fruit smoothie stand is right around the corner. Resort also has a nice restaurant attached. The only complaint is a first world problem where wish the AC would remain on after leaving the room. The AC does work fine and cools the room off quickly enough - would have been nice to leave it at least at a low setting while away from the room

Stayed here for a week in July and had a great time. Staff are all very friendly, room comfortable and location is right next to an active area full of bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away and there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks out front. The only negative was the extremely slow wifi, but a sim card is only a few hundred baht and gets you plenty of data. Will stay here again.

Great hotel in a central location, two minutes walk to Kata Beach. Outside the hotel are restaurants, cafes, bars and shops and a ten minute walk takes you to the other end of Kata Beach. The rooms are large, I had a superior room with tv, fridge, aircon and en suite bathroom with shower and seperate bath. Large balcony too. Definetly recommend for Kata. Have extended my stay.
