Was very small hotel room, but it worked for a couple nights. Wouldn’t stay here long term. AC works well. Shower has no curtain or door, so water goes everywhere - not a big deal for a couple nights. The front desk lady was very kind and helpful! Restaurants and cheap professional massage thai massage at your footsteps. Quick 2 minute walk to 7-11/ATM and beach!

The staff running the hotel are great! The room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. It’s a short walk to the beach. The only drawback is it can get a little noisy at night from the neighborhood.

This property is just what I was looking for as a traveler on a budget. It was a five minute walk to the beach, but still had a great view of the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a good spot for pickup/drop off for taxis. Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Great great value for location! Across the street and down a walkway for Beach access. The walkway smells terrible but it's literally 20 steps and you're through (and not a hotel problem). The room was large and they brought us an extra bed for one of the kids. It is clean but there are some things like dirty window panes in the washrooms etc. Nothing worth worrying about though as it isn't an area that you're in contact with. The high contact areas are greatly cleaned and their staff are always willing and available to help. We struggled a bit with the internet but anytime we asked for support they were literally at our door in 2 minutes. Outstanding staff! The furniture in the rooms is super old and I was super worried that we were going to break the cupboard haha but they've painted them to look more modern. One wish, was that we had more areas to hang up towels/swim clothes but we made due! The kitchen downstairs was also awesome and one of the cheaper options along with the beach restaurants (Think $6 a meal CDN - $4 ish USD)! Seriously amazing!

Biggest downfall - no elevator, but it really wasn't terrible for stairs. If you can't do stairs though definitely don't stay here!

Overall, we'd absolutely stay here again.

I had a room with balcony , the atmosphere was great, my bed really comfortable, the room was a good size. The manager was always available, she made me feel at ease and welcome. I am going back there next week , I loved it! It's so close to the beach , shopping area , restaurants, food market, all that you need from a holiday home.

It was a total nightmare and I had to leave. This hotel was a worst experience ever.Mould was everywhere. This is not a 3 star hotel .. Safety and health issues are the main concern here.

This is a horrible horrible hotel or whatever you can call it. the pictures are deceiving and its in worst shape. trash all over the place. The lady who suppose to be the receptionist is doing business from her own apartment with no shoes, no pants and look very sick. The rooms smell heavy duty mildew and beat-up. We booked two rooms and immediately check out. The trash around the bungalow made an excellent residence for mosquitos. I feel like I should be refunded for my two bedroom booking. Sad Sad Sad!!!!!

The location is good but the room was not very nice. At first glance it was looked nice but at a closer look the shower had quit a bit of mildew, the shower curtain was very old and had mildew stains, the curtains on the entrance sliding door had stains, my husband saw a bug in the bathroom during the night and the bedsheets had a tear. I wish we paid a bit more stayed someplace cleaner. We spent 3 nights. And if you can’t climb stairs this is not a place for you.

Basic but great value for the price

A little dated and no-frills but for the price it was excellent. Comfortable beds. Fridge in the room, great for storing drinks and ice from the nearby family Mart! Walking distance to everything you wanna get to in Kata.

The first bungalow we stayed in (B2) had a really terrible smell in the bathroom, we brought it to the attention of the staff and they tried to put some freshener in the toilet, but after that got flushed away, the smell was back. Staff was really great at helping us pick a new bungalow and we were able to spend the next two nights in a different one that was totally fine. Not sure if that will be an option come high season when all the rooms get filled so hopefully they are able to make sure all their sewage system is better maintained.

As mentioned, the rooms are pretty sparse and dated, although there are actual blackout drapes and the beds are comfy enough. For the price point and easy access to Kata beach and surrounding restaurants, massage places, etc... Well worth it.

Highly recommend Kata Beachwalk

We were very pleased with our stay at Kata Beachwalk. We stayed in one of the bungalows and the ocean view was fantastic. The room was clean and the service was amazing. It was our first time in Kata and we definitely want to return and stay here again. The restaurant below the bungalows was also one of the best we found. The only issue we had was there was a few times the water in the shower wasn’t working. But they were quick to fix it and it never lasted more than 20-30 minutes until it was working again. They provide beach towels for you and provide clean bath towels and waters everyday. We can’t say enough great things about this place. The location was also the best we can imagine. Literally steps away from the beach and kind of central to everything else.

Great staff and Great value for money!

I stayed in one of the bungalows, which i can recommend. Upon my arrival everything was ready, light was on, the aircon was on - in all a pleasant welcome.Very nice and pleasant staff, who made every effort to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. My bungalow was always clean and two bottles of water was automatically delivered every day. I find its location conveniently close to the beach. I personally prefer Kata Noi beach, but that's just me. Wifi connection was good no problem there. I will definitely come back as long as i can have my old bungalow :-)

Good in every way

Very clean, comfortable hotel with spacious rooms, good soundproofing, good Wi-Fi. I enjoyed the superior room with a nice balcony that looks straight on to a nicely landscaped hill. The great thing about this hotel is that it enjoys a secluded passageway right to the sand of the beach, 50 m away, but you are paying much, much less then the hotels directly on the beach. The owner is a great guy who will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Immediately next to the hotel is a reasonably priced, open air restaurant that seems to be popular in the area. I hardly recommend this hotel and would come back anytime.

Kata Beachwalk , however was very clean and for the price, great. Thanks Vladimir and Liam for taking good care of us. And yes, the beds are very comfy!

We didnt actually stay in the hotel, as refurbishment work had not been completed, due to heavy rain, the bungalow was very neat and clean, with excellent views over the bay, It was a bit of a shock, at the incline to reach the bungalow, but the view made it worthwhile, I would not reccommend this for the elderley or infirm, work being performed on adjacent hotel and bungalow, Valdi the owner is a very friendly humorous gentleman, the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful, the bungalow was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels, eateries around the area are excellent

Kata Beachwalk highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed for 11 nights at Kata Beachwalk Hotel in January. Considering the very reasonable (cheap) price of the stay the hotel was excellent! It was very clean with room serviced every day. There is a good restaurant with nightly live music downstairs. It is located virtually across the road from the entrance to Kata Beach. We did the Kata Hot Yoga every morning and this is located about 50 metres up the road too.
The staff were excellent and very friendly. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

It was good staying here as it was hi season so this was a bit cheaper than bigger hotels. The road outside is very busy with traffic but you are very close to the beach and lots of resturants.

Rummet var dåligt. Svartmögel i taket i badrummet. Blodfläckar på handdukar och lakan efter bedbugg bett. Vattentrycket till duschen var välfigt dåligt. Lämnade rummet efter första natten och tog in på annat hotell.
