This resort is set 250 metres from Karon Beach, Phuket Island. There is a road between the resort and the beach.
It is only a 10-minute drive from both Kata Beach and Patong Beach. The hotel is located in the heart of the Karon Beach area, and provides a real sense of privacy and peace amidst beautiful secluded lush tropical gardens.
Phuket International Airport is some 50 km away. This resort provides a unique sense of peace and privacy to the discerning traveller.
It offers 34 villas set within a secluded and lush tropical garden. The more exclusive villas are complemented by a semi-private swimming pool area right at the front door.
The resort has a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange facility, restaurant, Internet access (subject to fees), as well as room and laundry services (both subject to fees). Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car.
The resort offers 34 villas in modern Thai-Taksin style. Each villa offers maximum flexibility and comfort for either individual or family holidays.
A bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, minibar/fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, king-size beds, individually-adjustable air conditioning, safe deposit box and either a balcony or terrace all feature as standard. The hotel offers a range of spa treatments and a massage service.
Guests may also take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool with children's pool and poolside snackbar. A steam room also features.
Breakfast is served as an American-style buffet, while lunch and dinner are served à la carte from the healthy Thai and international menu.

We spent 2 weeks at The Village and it was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Really good and varied breakfast options and the pool area was very relaxing. Super fast internet and great facilities, would definitely recommend staying here :)

A small very quiet adult hotel with very spacious rooms . Fitness facilities at Front Village was so small max 5 m2 and bad maintained. Breakfast wasn’t great but okay .. we rated this hotel almost 5 star because of the quietness and the staff willingness to help and solve the problems.

I loved The Village Resort. I had been staying at Le Meridien for the week before, which is nice, but very much a typical Marriott experience. This place was much more down to earth, nature-forward (I don’t mean bugs- cute birds and trees), and the poolside villa was incredible. So beautiful, and so nice to have a little porch.

Tropical garden villa was very nice. The staff were super kind. They were very careful with my daughter’s peanut/ tree nut allergy. There is a security person that stops traffic in front so you can cross the busy road. It’s a short walk around the lake to the Karon beach area.

This property was disappointing. When we checked in, the floors did not feel very clean, the bed was hard as a rock, not enough toilet paper, we always had to ask for more, the toilet would keep running each time you would flush it. My husband had to keep pushing the plug down inside the tank to stop it from running.
The buffett breakfast was horrible, instant coffee, juice was very diluted and no flavor with the hot food items. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. The cost of the room per night was not worth it.

This is a very nice hotel! It had everything we needed- amazing buffet breakfast, close to a beautiful beach , walkable to the main streets where all the restaurants are located and a nice spacious room. The staff were excellent and so friendly. Don’t hesitate, it’s a great choice

Fantastic place to stay and highly recommend for friends and family. We visited here twice 5 years ago but going back we recognise that the place has not been maintained. So they need to be careful as things are getting shabby. The spa was closed too. Breakfast - we’ve had better. So yeah it’s losing its sparkle now

Loved this property. The room was absolutely fabulous. The service was fantastic. The staff was great. We had our laundry done here for inexpensive. the pool was fantastic. My only complaint is none of the food was good. It wasn’t authentic and even the Thai tea seems like it was made from a pre-done mix.

Amazing resort, close to beach, restaurants and shopping. Staff were amazing here they went out of their way. Our flight was delayed, changed our airport pick up and had 12pm check out. One of our group was sick, they organised a dr so quickly. Cooking school is a must, the chefs were really good. Pool super clean. Pancake and Thip were always their smiling every morning. Walking distance to the beach. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The property was great the staff are excellent but the access into Karon itself needs updating and fixing to make safe. The walkway is broken with stretches of just sand from pavers that have been taken up.

Amazing value place on the edge of town. Walking distance. The pool was beautiful although too cold. We loved our room - the tropical villa- it was beautiful with lots of space and an amazing bath. The only downside was the bed was too hard for me.

The room was great and linked on to the pool, but wasn't a great swimming spot to physically be in, another room would potentially have a better location. Only thing to note was the pool wasn't very deep and the spa wasn't working, a bit disappointing. Staff were all so friendly and were able to translate seamlessly.

Room was comfortable with strong air conditioning which was great! However, the room cleaning can be improved as some days the floor still felt sandy. The shower water pressure was also not very strong and it’s a delicate operation to control the water temperature. Lastly, there was no full length mirror. Resort was quiet and clean. Staff were very professional and friendly too.

You really love our stay here at the village resort. The little bungalows give you a real cultural experience, unlike some of the corporate style Skyrise hotels. We found the pool to be amazing and it was much better once you get in it and experience the serene environment of the pool bar and trees our room was a little villa, and that was great to have so much space for the few nights we were in Phuket. It was a little inconvenient to walk all the way to the beachfront because it is not right in town but at the same time that made it quieter. Maybe it’s only a five minute walk to the beach, but when it’s a very hot day . We are renting a scooter tomorrow so that should make things a bit easier. But be careful if you rent a scooter in Phuket for sometimes it is dangerous if you go to busy areas. Overall cool down pretty quickly once we turn on the air condition and it felt pretty safe. I look forward to trying the Spa.

Amazing detached tropical villa with separate bedroom, dressing room and lounge. Very clean. Wonderful pool area and always found some sunbeds. Ate in hotel restaurant one night and was excellent. Easy walk to Karon beach (very windy) and to restaurants etc (Two Chefs on Soi Saneha was fantastic). Easy to get a taxi from gatekeeper nearby.
Only irritant when we discovered that during 'happy hour - 2 for 1' the price of a small can of Chang beer had been increased by 50% from 120 to 180Bht which was not advertised in the room or around the pool. Very sneaky! We complained and only paid the lower price.

The Village Resort and Spa was excellent. We opted for the pool access rooms. The rooms were more like mini villas. Very spacious with separate large walk in closet and bathroom. The front lounge space was really nice in the evening especially, and the pool access was fun and felt like you had your own personal swimming area. The staff were so kind and attentive. Great drinks at happy hour, and the food was pretty good too. The spa was small but there are a large variety of services offered and is very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and quiet area. No mosquitoes or bugs which given how the resort looks was a surprise for me. There are very nice restaurants, money exchange and 7-11 in walkable distance. The beach is in walking distance too. One thing that did bug me was that they give you 2 water bottle and toilet papers and if you run out then they don’t give you extra. This is something I noticed in other resort in Thailand as well but it was pretty strange to me. No worries though there was a 7 eleven nearby so we got all our needs from there.

Hotel was nice pool was nice, and pool bar we did have a room right by the restaurant so everyone could see into our room so had to keep the blinds closed. The hotel very much has the ‘you need to do everything inside the hotel as it’s safer’ mantra which I don’t agree with but I’m sure to first time travellers it would be daunting and they would stay in to eat and use the spa (which is expensive). We were told about different offers by different staff members so was confusion at check out too, overall was ok but probably wouldn’t go back.

Love love love this place!! Only spent 2 nights here, but wish I could’ve stayed longer. Definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Every window in our villa had a wonderful view. The pool was clean and we enjoyed our time at the pool bar after a long day at Phi Phi Island. We didn’t eat there, since there was a great little Thai restaurant only a 3 min walk from the resort, but the alcohol beverages were delicious! Definitely plan on returning here in the future.

We had a relaxing holiday at the village it was an easy walk to karon and beach , nice restaurants close by - breakfast changed daily and was a perfect way to start the day - would highly recommend- fyi this is an adult only resort.

Had a lovely stay here for 6 nights with my girlfriend. Staff we very welcoming and happy to accommodate anything we needed with a smile. Breakfast was very good with lots of options, some of which varied each morning. Would definitely recommend The Village to anyone looking for a quiet retreat from what is a bustling tourist location.

I loved our stay here. The Staff were so friendly and very prompt with any issues. We booked here for our anniversary and they made it very special for us. It is very quiet and private. In fact at one point my husband asked if I had booked the entire resort just for us/our anniversary. The breakfast was great and fresh choices between Thai & western foods all you need a healthy breakfast. We stayed in the Pool access villa and it was truly amazing and the photos don't do it justice. It was very clean and serviced everyday. It is at the quiet end of Karon but good access to restaurants and shopping. There were no children in this resort. The guard at the front entrance always made sure you got across the road safely or got you a taxi or tut tut. 200Bt anywhere in Karon one way (about $9 Aus) I will mention that the beds are hard but that is pretty much everywhere in Phuket. previously I have request mattress toppers to be added but I did not wake up sore so did not ask them here. The pool & pool bar a great. We loved everything about this place and all the staff we will definitely be back

Our villa was huge and very clean. Loved that we had our own private pool access. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not right on the beach, but just across the street, and they even have a security guard to help you with street crossing. It is about an 8-10 minute walk into town where all the shops and restaurants are. Was overall very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again!

I was charged 550 bhat at checkout for an accidentally broken ceramic shampoo bottle. There is absolutely no way that item cost the hotel more than 200 bhat. It's sad that they're exploiting paying customers for trinkets. Will not return.

Great but spoilt by a ‘singer’
Relaxing picturesque resort. Great pool and happy hour. Super close to 2 beautiful not too crowded beaches (5 minutes walk). I would recommend going out for dinner because the on-site resultant wasn’t great for us (again just a short walk away from many restaurants). We really enjoyed our stay apart from one small issue; every night we stayed they employed an awful singer between 7pm and 11pm. Beautiful surroundings at a small hotel, nice pool and good size bath in room. Good spa service. Generally clean, however beds were very itchy and uncomfortable. Poor WiFi and bedroom area was fusty. Food was below average especially breakfast. Close enough to walk into town and security were a great help crossing busy main road. Other staff seemed okay but not overly friendly like other close by resorts. Overall had a nice time, but the bedrooms and food/drink really let it down.

This was a beautiful property located about 5 minutes away from the beach. The pool side bar and security staff members were extremely attentive and friendly. We had some trouble with a \"free spa\" coupon during check in, but they fixed it within 24 hours. The rooms were beautiful but you could tell slightly older (one broken beam in the bathroom for example). But the property was so beautiful that we hardly noticed the imperfections at all

Villas are traditional accom, so don’t expect or compare with 5 star furnishings - they have a charm of their own and have huge space inside. The village has many good points it’s quiet location close to local amenities, beach 5 minutes away, some staff friendly as expected in Thailand, good sized rooms lots of space, big bathroom with a big bath, great pool with little bar, even better that while there had pool to myself most days. But it is in serious need of renovation, some evidence of this at time of visit. The villa I had was dilapidated, steps broken and cracked, the bath was stained brown with huge cracks over its surface not an enticing look, didn’t use it as a result. Also experienced a series of firsts in travel, 1, locking door with padlock, 2, because of said padlock you couldn’t go out lock the door if your partner was having a nap, for example. 3, internal security chain was all that provided to lock! door, particularly concerning as doors did not close tightly.will say lots of security cameras on site. 4 bar snacks all marked with tvrs, trust? Or just a money making concern, and finally, in 35 years of travelling and staying in hotels, I was asked to pay for a glass which got cracked and the glass was never replaced for the remainder of the stay. If this had been my first experience of Thailand I would be disinclined to return. This was a 4 star hotel but not now, requires serious renovation and the management to take customer service seriously. Loads of potential just so disappointing

No doubt a beautiful small resort, it does need a bit of TLC but easily overlooked by the beautiful resort. Staff are fantastic, food has enough choices. Location is close to restaurants and the beach. The only downsides was the inconsistent internet, if using your phone there was no issues but if you are using your iPad in your room it was really hit or miss and you can hear your neighbors conversations etc so clearly when you are in you bathroom. The day before we left our room constantly smelt of cigarette smoke, I believe our new neighbors were smoking in their room which is not allowed. If we were not flying out the next day I would have complained and I’m sure the wonderful staff would have addressed the situation. We had lots of time between signing out and our transfer pickup and we were still allowed to use the ammenities and staff still treated us like paying customers.

We stayed at the hotel looking at the description and the reviews online. I must say it lived upto what we expected. The location was great, just a short walk to the quiet side of Karon Beach thru a beautiful lake. The check-in was an ease. I must mentioned the people that were really very helpful and made us feel very comfortable (everyone at reception, the breakfast/restaurant staff and even the guard at the gate was all smiles every time we passed by, always helping us cross the road safely). He's a gem of a guy!!

Beautiful quiet getaway
Amazing stay during our short trip to Thailand. Great place to return to after a long day of sight seeing and tours. The breakfast buffet was very good with wonderful options ( western breakfast options along with Thai lunch options) perfect before you start long days away from the hotel. The beds are a bit firm ( which I loved) but worth noting when considering this place. The villas give a very authentic feel and are very roomy. Some people complained that the hotel was outdated ( did not see it that way at all, it was just very Thai-authentic). Would 100% recommend this place. A+++

Peaceful oasis
My friend and I booked a room each at the Village Resort and Spa and it was absolutely perfect. We honestly loved every minute from the moment we arrived until the second we (sadly) had to leave. The hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and professional; the rooms were exceptionally clean, well laid out and comfortable; the location was perfect; the pool and spa services were heavenly and the resort was so lovely and quiet we instantly felt relaxed and at home. I only wish we could have stayed longer than our one week. I will definitely be back!

I'm sure at one time this was a beautiful resort but it really needs to be updated the curtains and blinds were very old and falling apart and the bathtub was stained badly. Also the food was terrible worst steak I've ever had would not recommend eating at this resort

Superb hotel and teh room/villa was wonderful, comfortable, relaxing and with its own pool area. The hotel staff - like all Thai people we met - are friendly and accommodating. Location is great - at north end of karon, away from the rather touristy bits and a short walk from the beach and from the local eateries and other attractions. We loved our time in Karon and The Village resort and Spa was the perfect choice for us.

The whole experience was great. The Resort was tranquil and peaceful with an excellent pool environment. This meant we could enjoy the hustle and bustle of Thailand which was fun, and also relax at the resort. The staff were always pleasant and helpful.
