We booked two rooms one of the rooms we were given (Room #1) was amazing had lots of room a nice big bathroom and separate access to the jacuzzi and all in all a wonderful experience.
The other room we were given (Room #10) was a big disappointment, the room had a musty smell, it was very cramped, bathroom was ridiculously small and there was no separate access to the jacuzzi.
The staff was very helpful, Hara in particular was very eager to help, overall a good experience.

The best place to stay, the owner is extremely helpful, in a quiet area, with beautiful views, close to restaurants. We had the best time here!

Staying joy at this villa starts with Miss Hará, she has very nice attitude to welcome you, gave us the room with no hassle, help us with car rentar, gave us a map and told us how to enjoy the island, this villa is for humble people who enjoys trip on a budget, confidence, and good attitude to other. I love when I go to a hotel and I feel welcoming. Thank you Hara
Will
Beautiful property managed by very capable staff. We loved the proximity to sunset views and nearness to Fira; while Oia is a short bus ride (taxi/hike) away.
Verified traveler
We had a great stay! The area is very quiet, clean and felt safe. The room was very spacious and clean.
Anne
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Villa Happening. The area is quieter than other parts of Santorini, but still with plenty of food options and supermarkets for supplies. The room is comfortable and clean; bathroom facilities are small but adequate. Bed was comfortable, room is cleaned and made up daily.

Amazing Service and Help
Villa Happening was a fantastic stay for my wife and I! Chara was absolutely helpful and even helped us switch rooms when we realized a jetted tub room was available. 1000% recommend staying here.
anika
Reception was so incredible and helpful no matter what time, the area was beautiful. A little difficult to get around without car and the bus systems not the best, but we knew that going into the place. The town was so nice to stay in and we would go back again.
Maria
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Greek-style hotel in Imerovigli. The rooms were spotless and charming, and the outdoor hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is ideal—right in the center of great restaurants and stunning views. Hara and Maria were fantastic hosts, always welcoming and helpful, and Helen did a wonderful job keeping everything clean. Highly recommend for a peaceful and authentic Santorini experience!
Linda
Very nice place. Clean, modern, quiet, safe area with several restaurants close by. Skaros Rock in walkable distance. Sunset without crowds just across the street. Hara helped us with transfers to/from the airport, as well as suggestions and directions. We were in room 9 which had a nice balcony and fridge. The bathroom is a little small but we managed. Would stay here again :)
Daniel
Very close to restaurants and an easy walk to Fira. Our host, Hara, was very welcoming and willing to arrange ATV rentals and boat rides for our stay. Definitely recommend for your trip to Santorini.
Santhosh Samuel
The property is in a nice location with sunset views just outside a 2-minute walk away. However, the only downside was the shower, which didn't drain well, and the bathroom wasn't up to snuff. The toilet and sink were also not working properly. Parking was little difficult to obtain.

This Property is great but with Hara there its amazing - she is always very helpful and reply quickly - Thank you again for all your Assist - you made our stay even greater - Thank you

A hidden gem
Hara could not be more helpful from our checkin whereby we were given a free upgrade and the help and information she gave us.
Room and our view was fantastic.
Only regret was we only stayed for 3 nights.
Will definitely be back again.

Emma
The villa was beautiful and very clean. Hara was very helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bags at reception before our room was ready which was very helpful. Our room was ready 2 hours before regular check in time which was amazing. The only small complaint is that the property description said there was laundry in the building which was not the case. We were told that the closest laundry place was in Fira so not ideal if you can’t rent a car.

It had the beds and nice atmosphere we wanted

Quiet well maintained Villa
Imerovigil is about 2 miles north of Santorini. The hotel is older but has a nice view and the rooms are quiet, well maintained and clean. Due to the ferry schedule I arrived after the office had closed at five pm. I called Hara and she arrived promptly to check me in. The bed is quite firm but acceptable. There is a small refrigerator and safe. Compared to Santorini or Oia, Imerovigli is smaller, quiet with much less tourist traffic. There is a bus stop a few blocks from the hotel for access to Oia or Santorini. Hara is very helpful with local attractions and helped arrange an airport transport at 6 am. I enjoyed avoiding the crowds and the party crowd. I would stay there again if I travel to Greece.

Property was fantastic and in a great location, and Hara was wonderful. She answered our many questions and helped with our requests. We wish we had access to a do not disturb sign to turn down housekeeping and a controllable hot tub temperature, but otherwise everything was great.

We arrived really late on but Hara was really helpful, she sorted out our transfers when we landed in Santorini and she sent me instructions for the room we was staying in so we didn’t disturb anyone.
Great help Hara, Thankyou very much!!
Nice place to stay in Imervig

First time in Santorini
Had a nice stay at Villa Happening in Imarovigli. Easy walk to Fira, Skaros rock, but to Oia, etc. It's much quieter than Fira or Oia. But no beach nearby. The rooms are cute but small, esp the bathroom. Service is good, Hara is very helpful. We had nice view of sunrise from the balcony.

Lovely people. Thank you.

Hara was very friendly and helpful, she helped us organize a boat tour to the volcano as well as our transfer to the port. The room was very clean and spacious, a great value for the price. We loved hanging out on our balcony in the mornings, watching the sea and the hens foraging in the back lot. It was very quiet and peaceful which can be hard to find in Santorini during high season. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Decent hotel
Normal decent hotel with a nice view for the price. Wifi is fast, TVs are small but most don’t watch TV anyways. Good for price

Happening Is Happening!
Villa Happening couldn't offer a full voucher for next year for my brother and his wife to stay when we try our wedding again in Greece. Haven't been yet but it's an excellent value to be on the caldera and is traditional Greek looking, which I'm anxious for my brother to see when he visits for our wedding.

Great hosts and central location
We enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Great location in Imerovigli
Our stay was very comfortable. Hara went out of her way to help us with all the questions we had. The villa is steps away from the Caldera in a very convenient location. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable and offered all the amenities we needed. We were even given beach towels for a grip to the beach. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Basic room, generally clean, quiet area. Santorini is generally expensive, however for the price, i would consider stay in a different location (perhaps in he south) with a view of the ocean. Property does not have sunset views, if this is what you are hunting for. It has a small view of the sunrise, however. Shower could definitely be fixed up - hard to keep the water from going all over the bathroom. Property is a bit aged and could use some updating, however Hara is helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful experience; would come back no doubt!
From the moment we stepped foot into Villa Happening we were greeted by very friendly staff and immediately given a room. Lucky us, since we arrived a few hours before check-in time. The room was very clean and good size. Compared to all the other hotels, literally next door, we didn’t have caldera view but the view was a two-minute walk away. On our balcony we did enjoy a nice view of the opposite side of the island. We looked for weeks to find the most suitable hotel for our stay and must say that we were thoroughly happy. I’d come back here in a heart-beat - always over opting for one of the hotels right on the caldera, which are 3 to 4 times more expensive and I highly doubt that the rooms or quality of night sleep is any better :) thanks villa happening.

The hotel and staff were both great! We enjoyed our stay very much.

Near to the caldera viewing spots, and walkable to Fira.

The room had no window, no pool as shown in this photo to the left. The toilet smelled like a sewer. The owners were very nice and helpful though

Our stay at Villa Happening was shorter than anticipated as travel plans for us changed. Wish we would have stayed longer. Room was cozy. Location/town was right in the middle of Oia and Fira, minutes away from each town. Receptionist/villa owner was very helpful in arranging pick-up and drop-off from and to location, and in arranging our ATV rental. Recommendations for places to visit were all jotted down in binder located in room. Great view from our room balcony. Would definitely recommend!

A fantastic experience all around. Great ambiance, very clean room, extremely helpful staff. Maria (the proprietor) and Hara (her daughter) made our stay at Villa Happening a wonderful experience. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again on our next visit.

Good basic accommodation in Santorini
Excellent staff, Hara was super friendly & very responsive to emails & questions. Basic accommodation but clean & functional. A good budget option for Santorini if you don’t need a pool & Caldera front location. Be prepared for a tiny bathroom & in room 8 the mattress was pretty lumpy, creaky & uncomfortable.

Very clean and owners always there to help you with where to go

Nice hotel, great location
We really liked the hotel, the staff, and the location. Imerovigli is not as busy as Oia or Fira but has excellent restaurants and amazing sunset views. There's a small terrace on the rooftop of the hotel, nice for a morning coffee but no view from there - however, you won't be spending time in your room, just walk 2 minutes and you get the Caldera view :)
The host was very helpful. The only negative point was the quality of the mattress in the room - not the most comfortable.

Great value for Santorini. Not on the hillside so it's affordable and still only a few minutes walk to everything, one minute walk to amazing views. Close to many restaurants and local bus stop. Staff was great, helped in every way we asked. Room was simple and comfortable, even though you don't spend much time in it. Really unless you want to pay $300+ per night for a room with private pool on the cliffside this is the next best option. Great stay, fully reccomend

Amazing Honeymoon Stay

Wonderful villa- close, but not too close to every
We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Happening. Hara helped us with everything and made sure our trip was fabulous. The villa looks like it should be on a post card- it's very cute and exceptionally clean!
Would recommend to all!

Simply a great experience!
Villa Happening was a very pleasant stay as the place and the view are lovely. The staff are the sweetest ever as they make you feel like you're more a family member more than a guest. The rooms are clean and the place is overall comfortable.

Great
We were there for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time in Santorini. The hotel is not in Oia nor Fira, which all the action is, but the bus stop is near the hotel. Renting a car is a good solution to take you around Santorini.
Maria (the owner) and her lovely daughters were very kind, smiling and always ready to help.
Breakfast is not a very good deal.

Excellent budget option close to Caldera cliffs
A fantastic hotel if you are looking for the best budget options outside of Fira. A few yards from the Caldera en close to some nice restaurants in nice, quiet and tranquil area. The bus stop is also very close by and you can take it to Fira or Oia - or walk the lovely route along the Caldera to Fira (about 40 minutes). The staff is lovely - Maria and Hara gave us such a warm welcome and even taught us some Greek words. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice family run hotel - with room for improvement
Nice family run hotel. Shame that the shower water wasn't very hot; rooms were facing the 'wrong' side of the island, ie east. Service was as one would expect. Internet service not great, but that's typical for the island.

Great service
Lovely place and the service was wonderful. Nothing fancy, but clean and did the trick.

Nice villa, best location in Santorini
I had a great time staying at Villa Happening. Hara and her mother Maria were very nice. Hara gave us great directions and tips about what to do, where to eat, etc.
This place could not be located in a better area. Imerovigli is right in the middle between Fira and Oia and a lot quieter than the other two with easy bus ride to either one. You can have a beautiful view of the Caldera and the magnificent sunset few steps off the Villa.
