Excellent location and a short walk to Fira. Just note it is an uphill walk to town, but a short one. The property is lovely and quiet and the rooms are wonderful. I recommend this property for a nice quiet location that’s very close to town and the bus station.

This hotel was nice for the money. The area is in the outskirts of Fira so a bit deserted around. 15 min walk to town. I was dissatisfied with the Taxi service provided by hotel gentleman was kind of rude, as they never mentioned they don’t take Mastercard and they charge an extra 5 euro to pay with card. This should definitely be communicated in advance so guests can bring cash especially if flight arrives past midnight. Maria o think it’s the owner or person in charge was great very nice and sweet.

The hotel is located a bit of a distance from the Fira bus station, with a walk taking more than ten minutes. There are several uphill and downhill sections along the way, with cars passing by, so it's more suitable for driving. The hotel environment is quite nice, and the staff are very friendly. There is a buffet breakfast and a pool. The rooms are spacious enough and fairly clean.

This property is incredibly beautiful! Tastefully decorated and elegantly designed. The pool was so beautiful with an amazing view. They offered breakfast and the staff was super helpful. Vassia and Vlassia were both very responsive to all our inquiries. Fira is only a 10 min walk away. You get a little workout walking uphill, so people with mobility issues might want to consider renting a car or getting alternative transportation. All in all, we had an amazing time at Villa Anto and would definitely recommend it and stay there again if/ when we come back to Santorini!

Beautiful villa! Run by a very lovely woman and her family. The pool is gorgeous and incredibly clean. 15 minute walk from the bus station and from the center of Fira. Nice spot to get away from the bustling town of Fira.

Smashing villa hotel in Fira

Lovely peaceful hotel in a villa a 10 minute walk from Fira centre.
Great rooms and facilities with a nice view across the island and a cute little pool.
We got a nice surprise on arrival to find there was also a free (basic) breakfast daily too.

The walk into the town is quite a steep uphill march not appropriate for all but fine for us with our 8 year old child.

Great hotel located a short walk from Thira and all restaurants and shops. Very clean even the pool area. It looks like new. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Got the surprise to have a jacuzzi for ourselves in front of our room. Very quiet. Would definitely go back.

Cute little spot within walking distance of the small town so we could rent 4 wheelers to go to the scenic part of town on the other side of the island. Property manager was super helpful and arranged a big van taxi to pick us up and drop us off. Breakfast was quick with pastries and juices. Straight up the street quarter mile was an excellent souvlaki restaurant with awesome fries. Tip—you must have a motorcycle license there to rent scooters

Clean, cute and tidy rooms, well decorated. Staff weren’t around at night, but gave instructions for late check in and helped arrange drivers from the airport for a fee. This is a low key guest house with a cute little pool and breakfast in the morning. The walk up the hill to Fira is a bit tiring when you’ve been walking in heat all day, but it’s quick and overall very easy. Staff were nice and helpful when you needed something.

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Anto. The location is great, just 10 min walk to a busy part of Fira with shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The outdoor space and facilities are very good. I would definitely recommend Villa Anto as a great value for money.

Young couple who owns this warm and rustic are wonderful hosts!
Loved the location, its has its own Greek orthodox chapel next to it which is a picturesque detail. They have own mini-bus to take you to Santorini airport....definitely recommending it.

The main and major problem for this property is the lack of manned/human support. No one was ever at the checkin desk/window during our 3 days there. You always have to call someone to get any kind of help, from check-in to problems with the AC or cleanliness issues. We met another guest on the property and they said they've had the same experience, no one was ever around so you will need a working phone in Europe/Greece to get in contact with someone. They don't always answer. Mutiple times we had to wait and keep trying back.

Another problem we encountered is the cleanliness. The previous's trash was never emptied so we see all their trash in our restroom's wastebasket, which was so disgusting. Two of our towels had red stains on them. We called and mentioned this to the lady that was there and she tried to walk away from us. It was hard to communicate these to her as she doesn't seem to speak much English and she mentioned that the main person handling that was not there at the time. So we had to move on with our sightseeing instead of waiting around for someone to show up and do something about it.

No one mentioned that area is a bit sketchy. There is a large camping/hostel place close to the property and we saw some sketchy people there coming back at night.

The walking road coming to/from the road also has a curve where cars are coming cannot see you so it could be unsafe if you're not careful.

We stayed for 2 nights in Villa Anto and had a very nice time. The rooms are small but quiet and comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean. Location was excellent to access Thira. It was about 15 minutes to walk into town, constant uphill, but you do get used to it. And it’s worth it to see the sights.

Quaint, clean and close to main streets of Fira

We loved our stay at Villa Anto. It is a very quaint and super clean guest house. My teenage daughter said it gave her 'Mamma Mia vibes'. Maria was a great hostess who made sure all our needs were met. It is just a 10-15 min walk to the main tourist area. We did not have a car and would walk daily up to the center of Fira (it is an uphill climb, not too strenous). If you are planning to travel to Fira, you must know that you will be going up and down hills/stairs no matter where you stay. We would absolutely stay at Villa Anto again if we are lucky to go back to Santorini.

Perfect!

Spacious room. Awesome hostess. Nice view of the sea from our balcony. Hot water with a rain shower. Floor gets a bit wet and slick, so be sure to put the mat down!!! Very comfortable temperature wise. It is at the bottom of a hill, but it is not laborious at all. A pretty quick walk into the square. Don’t let the talk of the hill scare you. Check it out!

Beautiful villa, close to main strip in thira

We absolutely loved staying here! The staff (family-run) was super friendly and allowed us to hang by the pool even though we were there first thing in the morning way before our check-in time! Definitely would recommend this place!

Pros:
- Friendly staff even helped with booking for tours - didn’t try to up sell
- wifi worked in Rooms and all over the property
- Home made breakfast with tons of assortment - pizza, Nutella crepes, croissants, toast, Greek pastries, fruit, cheese, coffee, juice - more than you can eat
- small villa with only about 10-15rooms which makes it very homey!
- medium sized pool
- view of the ocean
- main strip of fira was a 10min walk
- personal patios
- laundry line
- spacious rooms

Cons:
- walk up a steep hill to get to the main strip
- didn’t have 24 hour concierge service but they seemed to be available to check people in at all hours - we were hanging out by the pool at night and saw people checking in no problem

Really happy with this place, it's in a quiet area but only 15 min walk to the centre of Fira. The staff were very friendly, room was clean and breakfast was nice too. I would say that if you do stay here, the walk to town is uphill so a car, bike or ATV rental really helps. For what we wanted which was cheap and cheerful, this was perfect. If you want good food which is cheap, head to Lucky's souvlaki.

A great host & nice hotel, thanks for everything!

The lady who runs the hotel was a great host right from the moment of my arrival to the day of my departure, and my stay felt quite homely in this nice family run hotel.

I was shown and given a choice of 3 rooms, and all the rooms seemed recently refurbished (or maintained extremely well). Breakfast was brought to the room and a bit different each day which made it more interesting.

The hotel is downhill from Fira town centre which though only ~10 mins' walk away can be likened to having to climb stairs up 5-6 floors in a building with a small steep section when walking to Fira, which may not suit some people but for me it was fine (actually good exercise).

It has sea views of the East (might be able to catch a sunrise view, but cloud cover when I was up early a couple of mornings).

Ho veramente apprezzato la struttura di villa anto per la vicinanza a thira senza che fosse però immersa nel caos del luogo turistico. C’era un cucinotto davanti alla piscina che era reso disponibile la mattina per colazione dai padroni di casa per scaldare qualcosa e rifornirsi di cibo. Le stanze sono davvero spaziose e la piscina fredda ma molto grande. L’unica cosa era la pulizia che ha lasciato desiderare me e la mia compagna. Consiglio, soprattuto per chi ha intenzione di viversi l’isola al 100% tornando solo la notte.

Le plus : le calme, l’hôtel en lui même qui est très beau et un chat super mignon, le petit coin petit déjeuner en libre service, le rapport qualité prix
Le service voiture même si le prix est fixe à l’aveuglette et payé en liquide
Le moins : personne à l accueil on est livré à nous même
pour le transfert retour le taxi commandé par l’hôtel nous a pris 40 euros au lieu de 30 officiel
Pour l’aller pas de réponse à nos mails donc on a pris un taxi pour le transfert
La personne du ménage blonde très désagréable et n’aide pas alors que l’autre super sympathique
Ps si vous aimez les chats ce serait gentil de donner à manger au petit chat (vous avez des pâtés à la supérette) pour 1 euros
