A pleasant guesthouse in a quiet, convenient location. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Some of the fittings could use a handyman - it’s not the Ritz.

High value for the money

The staff was friendly and helpful. While they do not speak English, my primary language, they did try very hard to communicate clearly and were always smiling and helpful.
The bed was very comfortable.
The shower was nice and hot with plenty of water pressure.
The hotel was relatively quite, but people walking around could be heard through the hardwood floors.
I'm usually a low-maintenance guest, so I don't ask hotels for anything usually.
I should mention that this hotel doesn't have A/C, so in the summer, people used to that might want to pick a different place. It was in the upper 80s degF and with both windows slightly open, a nice breeze cooled the room nicely.
The main downside for this (and most non-corporate) hotels is that neighbors and normal street noise can be an issue. It isn't a noisy neighborhood, but there are cars and buses 100m away. The business next door is an automotive shop, so those shop tools can make noise. I've always lived in the suburbs or country, so maybe I'm overly sensitive to city noises? Earplugs generally solve the issue.
The value of this hotel is very high.

Quiet and safe area

The hotel was secure with big metal gates, security camera and a security bell to push for entry. You need this security in Santiago. All of the staff were very helpful, found my Spanish funny, but were respectful. I would certainly stay here again.

The room had spiders , I have to kill one.
The TV it was out order.
When I requested to move out to other room, I have been told the hotel was fully booked. I have paid the room almost 2 months in advance x 3 nights and I have been given the worst room, The wifi it did not work in the room I have to go to the lobby, I would never come back.

Nice little B & B

Good location, just a few blocks from Parque Bustamante metro (subway) station. Within easy walking distance from a quite a few good eateries.

Small but comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Our room was quiet except for incessant barking neighborhood dogs that yapped most of the night. Breakfast was simple but adequate.

Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful when we first arrived but were not quick to fix some issues (e.g. it took several requests to change a burned out light bulb). In our room was posted the \"Policy of the Hotel\" which stated that rooms would only be cleaned between 12 noon and 2 pm. On our first two days here, our room was cleaned when we returned in the afternoon. On our last day, we left the hotel at 9.30 am and returned at 3 pm to find our room not serviced. The receptionist said when we went out \"later\" we could have our room serviced but we insisted on prompt resolution of this issue.

Nice cozy hotel near attractions in safe area

The staff is very helpfull specially the night manager, I think his name is Omar. The owners David and Sandra were also very helpfull, even providers us temporary metro money. I definetly recommend the hotel.

Very nice place to stay in Santiago

Good location on a quite street.
Rooms are all remodeled (at least the one I was - # 7) with comfortable beds and pillows. Shower is the best: a lot of water and hot! I'll miss that shower!
Nice breakfast with a few options.
Staff is very nice and always willing to help. We needed to rent a car for one day, pick-up and delivery at the hotel with same cost as if you have to do it at the airport.
I will definitely recommend and stay there again when I'm back to Santiago.

Nice B&B, fantastic location.

The hotel itself is very nice. Old, but not in a bad way - hardwood floors and brick walls give it a charming rustic character. Our room was quite clean, and the bathroom had recently been redone. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For the price, it is excellent. The location in Barrio Italia is really the best part. Lots of shopping in boutique stores with handmade goods and furniture, antique restoration shops, and excellent restaurants. We don't mind walking, so the 20-minute walk to museums, Lastarria, St. Lucia, or downtown areas was no problem. You could also easily grab a taxi or take the metro from the Parque Bustamante station.

My First Stay in Chile!

I was in Chile on business for the first time and did not know what to expect. The bed and breakfast was clean but needed to be modernized and cleaned and maintained on the outside of the building. During the heat of the summer when it gets as hot as 97 degrees F. you expect to have some A/C. When I asked they gave me an antique fan to keep me cool. They said that it was the hottest that it had ever been. My luck. However, the staff was very friendly and as helpful as they could be. When I read the info on the Hotel.com site it says that the staff speaks English. They mean that the staff speaks fluent Spanish and not English. If they did not use the Google translation program on their computer I would have been in deep trouble. Lastly, the Internet service was somewhat sporadic. The staff is very nice and they do the best that they can under the circumstances. Based upon the price of the hotel a few blocks up the street, this place is a great value, so if you want to save money I would definitely suggest considering this property.

Habitación sin armario para poder guardar algo de ropa, solo diapone de un colgador de pared para poder colgar los abrigos y ya está.
La ducha tiene cortina en vez de mampara. La bañera tiene cortina en vez de mampara. Habitación limpieza . Desayuno muy rico, te dan a elegir diferentes tostadas, te dan yogur natural, riquisimo, café y una pieza de fruta.
Zona muy segura para alojarse, en menos de 5min andando hay dos supermercados grandes. Lo peor fue que no permiten poder pagar con tarjeta de débito.

Espero NO volver nunca más a este hotel.

Lamentablemente la experiencia fue pésima, el hotel tiene un descuido increíble, anticuado, le hace muchísima falta una renovación total. La pieza que me tocó ni hablar, no tenía ningún tipo de ventilación ni ventanas, el ambiente era muy bullicioso, se escuchaba todo en el pasillo, terrible.
El baño un tema absolutamente aparte, y por motivos personales me tuve que retirar antes de lo esperado tipo 4:20 Am aproximadamente, el agua de la ducha en demoró 30 minutos por reloj en calentar, esto sin ánimos de exagerar, 30 minutos en calentar.

Ya cuando estaba listo para salir… mi vehículo quedó atrapado por otros en el estacionamiento, por lo que a las 5:20 Am aproximadamente, hubo que ir a despertar al visitante Argentino que estaba tapando mi auto, esto porque el estacionamiento no da abasto.

Realmente quedé muy decepcionado de esta estadía, definitivamente no volvería nunca más. Lejos unas de las peores experiencias que he tenido con hoteles, más aún tomando en cuenta que el valor no era de lo más económico, $85.000 Pesos chilenos aproximadamente.

Razoável somente por causa do atendimento e locali

Localização e atendimento excelentes. Funcionários educados e atenciosos.
Café da manhã: fraco, repetitivo e regrado. Durante as 8 diárias tinha apenas pao com queijo e presunto ou ovo mexido, fruta e suco (somente nas 2 primeiras diárias), copo de iogurte de no máximo 100ml (sempre o mesmo sabor); um míni bule de leite para 2 pessoas.
Instalações e mibiliarios: carentes, urgentemente de reforma, principalmente camas e banheiros. Colchões e móveis.velhos necessutando de troca; banheiro antigo com cortina fina que molha o mesmo todo.

Llegamos al hotel no tenian la reserva , ho habia nada , luego nos acomodaron en una pieza con 4 camas
Todo cochino ( hongos en los baños y techos) cortinas sucias ( tengo fotos de repaldo)
Y cómo broche de oro no nos dieron desayuno ya que nos dijieron que debíamos pagar extra

No geral muito bom

Quarto aconchegante, cama boa, armário e móveis atenderam a necessidade. Única crítica seria o ventilador que estava capenga, mas funcionando. Quarto não tem ar-condicionado. Banheiro muito bom, com destaque especial para o chuveiro que é excelente, daqueles bem grandes. O quarto foi arrumado todos os dias, as toalhas são trocadas apenas se vc deixá-las no chão. Wi-fi pega muito bem no quarto e a velocidade é muito boa, não tive problemas de acesso.
O café da manhã é simples, porém gostoso e o suficiente para iniciar o dia.
O grande destaque vai para o atendimento, os funcionários são bastante simpáticos e estão sempre dispostos a ajudar com dúvidas sobre a cidade e demais necessidades, inclusive em um dos dias que precisei sair mais cedo do hotel por causa de um passeio, o funcionário me permitiu fazer um café da manhã antes do horário para não ficar sem o mesmo.

O hotel fica próximo ao Parque Bustamante (600 metros) e há uma estação de metrô neste parque. O atendimento foi excelente, chegamos perto da meia noite, pois nosso voo chegou mais tarde do que o previsto e a atendente nos atendeu super bem. Perguntamos onde poderíamos comer àquela hora nas proximidades e ela prontamente nos mostrou opções, inclusive ofereceu para pedir pizza e comer no hotel. Optamos em comer no hotel e ela mesma fez o pedido na pizzaria, nos chamou quando a pizza chegou e nos levou até a cozinha para comermos tranquilamente. Atendimento nota 10!
Os quartos são amplos, não havia ar condicionado somente ventilador, mas foi o suficiente. O banheiro é pequeno mas atendeu nossas necessidades. Tudo muito limpo. O café da manhã é simples mas bem servido. Wifi grátis.

Hotel simples, café da manhã razoavelmente suficiente, ótimo atendimento das funcionárias, muito simpáticas e prestativas. Wifi boa. Fica um pouco distante do metro Baquedano (uns 20 minutos a pé). Os quartos do piso superior fazem barulho ao andar pelo corredor devido ao piso de madeira. Melhor usar os quartos de baixo. Os quartos e o banheiro são pequenos mas a cama é confortável.

Hotel pequeño y cerca de todo

Elegimos este hotel porque estaba estratégicamente ubicado en medio de todas las zonas que queríamos visitar y fue un acierto. Buenos accesos a Lastarria, Providencia y Bellavista y muy cerca de una estación de metro.
La habitación que me dieron fue mejor que la contratada, pero mi amiga se quedó en la más pequeña y estaba muy bien también. El personal muy amable y recepción las 24hs.
El desayuno es, tal vez, lo más flojo pero funciona. Volvería.

Wir waren 2 Nächte hier, aufgrund des günstigen Preises (55Chf pro Nacht), normalerweise kostet das Zimmer mehr als 100usd. Fenster und Türen uralt, aus dem EG keine Aussieht (deswegen wahrscheinlich der Sonderpreis)nicht sauber, Frühstück so lala. Zum Zentrum kann man laufen.WLAN Empfang im Zimmer (101) sehr schlecht.

Sabem aquele hotel 'bonitinho, mas ordinário'.é este.
A proposta deles a primeira vista até que é legal, porém assim que você fica umas horas no apartamento começam as decepções.
Nossa maior e mais nojenta; nosso apartamento esta REPLETO DE MOSCAS ENORMES E NOJENTAS(palavras de minha esposa).
Matei 'apenas 17 moscas\"- vejam as fotos das falecidas no vaso sanitário. Um nojo.
Relatei o fato a uma funcionário que disse; \" no Intiendo\" daí mostrei as fotos e ela falou que iria pedir para limparem melhor ??? Ok, no dia seguinte após a 'limpeza', lá estavam mais 5 lindas MOSCAS NOJENTAS DE NOVO, tive que usar das habilidades do 'el matador de moscas' hahahaha.
Para quem assistiu o filme 'ARRATA-ME PARA O INFERNO' vai se lembrar da cena em que MOSCAS ENTRAM NO NARIZ, OUVIDO E NA BOCA de alguns atores, neste caso dos hóspedes. Simplesmente um horror de nojento.
O café da manhã deles, a ração que dou ao meu gato BUG SKYWALKER é melhor.
Poucas opções, pães seco, café frio, reposição precária, melhor é não chamar aquilo de 'café da manhã'.
O hotel mais parece um HOSTEL CARO.
Tem a questão do barulho do piso de madeira, que no início não parece nada, porém na calada da noite torna-se um big problemão. Sê alguém levantar a noite, acordará quem estiver no quarto com certeza.
Para não errar, fiquem em um IBIS, não tem erro. É mais caro mais vale cada centavo.Você sabe oque vai encontrar, eu quis inovar e entrei pelo cano.
NÃO COMETAM O MESMO ERRO.

Nos gusto el hotel, es una zona residencial, es unn poco complicado encontrarlo cuando no conoces, pero en general todo re bien, buena atencion y amabilidad. Uno de los días la limpieza del cuarto fue bastante mala... pero fue lo unico. Y estaria bueno que el hotel cuente con un bufette o algo que te de comodidad para comer a la noche tal vez.
