Hotel Luciano K was absolutely perfect. The location, the rooms, the breakfast, the staff, two working elevators, great linens and pillows plus washcloths!! Also the rooftop bar and restaurant was a fun retreat where we were given two delicious pisco sours by the manager. We could walk to just about everything!

Overall, the place was great and staff very helpful and friendly. The pool area is nice — the pool is way smaller and than it looked in the photos and I had assumed the restaurant was open all the time. No biggie at all, and I was overall happy with my stay.

An older hotel brought to life by the friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay in Santiago and really enjoyed Luciano as our home base. The staff arranged a Taxi even packed us a breakfast to go when we had a 530 am flight. Pisco sours on the rooftop were another highlight. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, walking distance for anything we wanted to do. The room was great and the staff were very helpful. We dropped our key down a drain on the first day and they easily got us a new one even late at night. Highly recommend laying on the patio and taking a dip in the pool. The best mojito I’ve had!

A pretty good location; 10 minutes walk to the top 2 Santiago attractions: Cerro Santa Lucia and Cerro San Cristobol, and 5 minutes walk to the charming Lastarria neighborhood.The roof top cafe serve decent food, but with limited choices. The included breakfast had somewhat limited choices, but of high quality. The vintage building has some charming decor.

We really enjoyed our stay in this 1920s art deco property. It wouldnt be for everybody as it is quite quirky. If you are a lover of chain hotels this hotel is probably not for you.
Are room was on the second floor facing the park and beautiful waterfall. The only window is in the bathroom which has a glass door so some light comes through. Rooms are not huge and you need to store luggage upright but no problem. The hot water takes a while to come through. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable the best on our travels.
The front desk desk staff are lovely and very helpfull. They is a roof deck with bar,restaurant and plunge pool with views to San Cristobel.
The hotel has beautiful tiled floors and the breakfast room is really nice. Breakfast had a good array each day.
The area around the hotel is very nice with tree libed streets and cafes.

The room was ok, a bit on a small side. Unfortunately, the windows were essentially non existent as they faced some tiny inner yard and hence no daylight or view. The rooftop pool is waist deep and fits only one person.The breakfast was fine and the front desk staff was good.

Pool is very small with only four lounge chairs, so your experience will definitely depend on who else is staying there. Building is old gorgeous architecture and old elevator is cool. We really loved our stay at Luciano K. The hotel has so much charm, and even though it’s in a historic building, everything felt updated, clean, and easy. The room was beautiful, quiet, and very restful with no street noise at all. Our suite was nicely decorated and bright during the day, but we could fully darken the room at night and sleep really well.

The location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of Lastarria and close to Barrio Italia and Bellavista. We walked from the hotel to many of the main sites, including Cerro San Cristóbal, Cerro Santa Lucía, and Plaza de Armas, and used short taxi rides to reach other areas easily. There’s also a beautiful park right across the street, perfect for relaxing, people watching, and enjoying the weather.

The staff at reception and throughout the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was also a highlight with fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, and a great selection of pastries. All of this at a very reasonable price. We would absolutely stay here again.

Breakfast quite limited and late start time (not great for tourists with day trip early starts). Many items seemed to be reused day after day (pastries stale and not fresh).
Generally felt quite tired and untidy. Place needs a deep clean and painting and better maintenance throughout - one example our hot water broke for one night. The staff were helpful and let us shower on a different floor, but not ideal.
Pool on rooftop was dirty and seemed unmaintained. Pictures looked a lot better than reality. If you were up in the afternoon it was used as a staff rest area with staff smoking and having their breaks. Everything felt a bit dirty and unclean. That said, bar man was very friendly and efficient .

Staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. Very eager to make one feel welcome and taken care of. An aide and the other young lady ( who I am sad to say I seem to forgot ) at desk were great. We had a very early flight and breakfast was waiting for us as was prearranged with the night clerk also very accommodating. The rooftop restaurant was tasty. Would definitely stay here again. This hotel is a really perfect balance of history and renovated amenities. The staff were incredible all around. Rooms were nice and comfortable and quiet.

The pool needs a but more care as it is popular with the birds but otherwise the roof is amazing and I enjoyed it every day I was there. Exercise extra caution after dark in the area around the hotel. Person on moped attempted to snatch my phone 1 block away. Hotel feels safe and secure. Just extra caution is needed after dark.

Highly recommend for a visit to Santiago. Walkable to many many great museums and neighborhoods.

The staff speaks English and we’re all very nice and helpful. However, the room was very dirty. Not just from the last cleaning but from lack of proper cleaning for a very long time. Also, the room needed refurbishing with paint, caulk, fixtures, etc. The towels were so over used they were gray and one was frayed. One of my pillow shams had eye make up on it. The room was very large and had a huge bathroom. The breakfast is nice and has many options. The rooftop bar was a nice place to have a few drinks and snacks. The pizza was quite a bit underdone. We were able to walk to the Hop on Hop Off bus in only a couple of minutes. The hotel staff provided us with a chip for a small discount.

We stayed here on our first visit to Santiago and found it to be a comfortable and welcoming choice. The location is excellent, with plenty of boutiques, cafés, and restaurants all around within easy walking distance. The room was clean and well-kept, though the wooden floors did squeak a bit. Most of the staff spoke English, which was very helpful as first-time visitors. Parking in the area is difficult, but we didn’t have a car and honestly didn’t need one since everything was close by. Overall, a very nice stay in a great location.

This is truly a work of art. The charm of the hotel cannot be understated. The Art Deco masterpiece was a labor of love for this architect. The elevator is truly a wonderful classic. The rooftop restaurant has great food and views are quite nice. Loved the deep tub. Wood floors are comfortable. In a great location. Walked to lots of the main sites. Breakfast is great and the dining room also once again is true to the art deco theme. The pink color is charming and the tile stunning. The front desk has such nice people who speak many languages. Make sure you go walk up the hill with Saint Maria on top and see the mountains surround you.

The hotel is in a beautiful Art Deco building from the 1920s, well maintained although the antique lift does not always work due to guests failing to close the cage door properly (NB - there is a modern lift with no issues down the hall).

Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic continental, nothing special but seems normal for Chile.

The room was lovely, big and very well air conditioned (essential for high summer in Santiago!), but on one day the cleaning was offered only in mid-afternoon, just when we had returned to seek shelter from the intense heat, and the toilet was not cleaned that day for some reason.

The pisco sours in the rooftop bar are lovely!

I’m sure in its day this was a quaint boutique hotel designed by humanitarian architect, but this hotel needs a serious remodel. Our room smelled of urine. Floors were dirty. Facilities were old. Hotel is located in unsafe ate of town. My husband who is a smoker was told not to smoke out front of the hotel after 4:30 PM because it is dangerous. This hotel is built as a 9.0 rating on Expedia and I don’t know why. We ended up transferring to a different hotel on the second day of our stay because our experience was so bad. Front desk, hotel staff were unhelpful as whenever we ask information about the area. I had to look it up on a computer. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Cristian y los chicos de recepción son un sol. Me ayudaron en todo lo que necesité y el hotel siempre se sintió como llegar a casa. El housekeeping bastante top. Una excelente estadía sobre todas las cosas.

Más aún, tuve un percance en el aeropuerto y no pude tomar el vuelo de salida y me ayudaron con un acomodo inmediato sin hacerme esperar a la hora del check in. Esto nadie lo hace; y será la razón por la que cuando vuelva a Chile los escoja nuevamente.

Hay un par de detalles: ya hay que pintar el cuarto y pulir los pisos. El desayuno con lo mismo todos los días cansa y, poner un timbre que se escuche en la cocina; porque si se van a ayudar a hacer el desayuno y alguien llega a tocar la puerta a las 3am (como yo el jueves) nos quedamos afuera hasta que se desocupen porque no se escucha allá.

Pero eso no le quita el brillo al excelente trabajo que hacen. Gracias infinitas.

This hotel has the absolute most comfortable mattress I e ever slept on. I have severe back problems and have never slept so good in my life. Quiet and attractive room, well-appointed, and a comfortable bed. Rooftop terrace/bar and an excellent breakfast. There is a nearby restaurant area where we found a very good lunch and dinner. We were only in Santiago for one night, but would gladly stay here again.
