Bad experience!!!

Firstly. On arrival the place is very hard to find. It is basically in a very large apartment complex. I asked at security for santiago suites and security (who spoke no English at all) directed me towards a door 20 metres down and said 8th floor. That door led to tower a and tower b both with 22 floors of residential apartments. After trying both 8th floors there was still no sign. I went back out and after another couple of minutes I managed to get room822 out of the security. I went up and knocked on the door and finally found the office. Check in was slow and when I went to pay by card they said there was a 19% charge for cards. I paid in cash. I got the code for our room which was on the top floor of the other tower so we lugged our bags over only to find the code didn t work. After another trip back and forth we finally got into our room, approx 45 mins after arriving. It is astonishing that there absolutely no signs for the office either at the entrance, in the building, in the lifts or even on the door of room822.

The apt was fine but in disrepair (A/c didn t work properly, sliding door broken, shower head blocked, blinds broken) and the kitchen lacked vital things to make it worthwhile using it (e.g. any cleaning equipment, dish cloths etc).

To make matters worse the electricity in the building went out from 9pm to 8am on our last night (although presumably that wasn't their fault).

Location is good but otherwise would not recommend .

Maid service would come and knock at 9-10am, I asked to not be bothered until after 12pm if possible would come every half hour until I just said please don't come back until tomorrow. This happened a few days, I did not like being bothered yet the maid kept coming back and then made a face when I told her not to return as in I had wasted her time.

Very convenient location close to Santiago sights, museums and shopping. Fully equipped kitchen and supermarket next door, several nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity. 24/7 reception operated out of an apartment, making it a little harder to access than that of a regular hotel.

Avoid arriving before 3pm

The hotel operated within Infinito Condominium with apartment spanning across 4 towers on different floors. Each apt door is controlled via door pin pad. You don't need to inform Reception (Tower A, Room 822) when you check out (latest 12nn). Hotel will assume you check out at 12nn and the housekeeping starts only after that. Hence check-in time is strictly after 3pm. Therefore, if you arrive earlier, no room is available for you.

Wifi is good. Pots, pans, cutlery, Microwave over, gas stove and fridge provided. Would be perfect if washing machine is included as well. Lack of dish washing liquid in the kitchen. The apt I got has faulty lights not fixed.

The hotel overcharged me initially. I booked via www.hotels.com and usually I pay in my home currency via credit card charged to hotels.com. However, for unknown reason www.hotels.com allow this apt to directly charge my credit card which resulted in the overcharging and in USD instead of my home currency. hotels.com still have not response to me as why this is happening. If you stay there, watch out for the amount the apt directly charged to your credit card.

I stayed here for two nights when I first arrived in Chile to look into teaching English here. The room, a small one bedroom or more like a large studio, was comfortable though somewhat cramped, kind of classy, and in good condition, except for the worn out love seat in the living room area. Strangely missing were kitchen towels, and any kind of complimentary tea or coffee, etc, like you'd get almost anywhere, as well as a desk or writing area. Also, the office person reresenting the rentals just didn't want to be there, and made an effort to talk as little as possible--getting info, like about wi-fi (which was pretty good), was like the proverbial \"pulling teeth\" experience. Oppositely, the three people there when I checked out were overwhelmingly helpful. This is a mix of permanent residents and temporary rentals in a huge complex, and the people living there were as polite and pleasant in passing as could be, always saying \"good day,\"good-nite,\" or \"ciao,\" but not intrusive. The location is excellent, in a clean area with plenty of food and shopping options right there or very near; transportation is close, too. The bed and bedding were in good condition, making for a good night's sleep. All in all, I'd recommend this place for a few days or so, maybe a week, but I'd miss a desk/work area beyond that. It's a good value for the sale price I paid ($50/night total.)

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Functional kitchen and bathroom, excellent Wifi and Air Conditioning. Nothing to complain about the room we stayed for 3 nights. Supermarket nearby and walking distance to everything in central Santiago.

There is room cleaning service daily, we are very happy about that.

I was surprised to find out that this place was an actual condominium with families and travelers cohabiting together. The condo has a great view of downtown from the rooftop, where there is also a swimming pool which the front desk forgot to mention.
The rooms are small but have everything a single guy or a couple may want. Kitchenette, microwave, fridge and cookware. There is a supermarket next door that is convenient if you wanted to cook breakfast or whatever if on a tight budget. The location is perfect if you want to explore the downtown area. Plaza de Armas, la moneda, catedral, etc are all walking distance. As well as Bella vista where there is a pretty fun nightlife.
One thing I found annoying tho was the cleaning staff that made a lot of noise. It's pretty rough if your trying to sleep after loosing 5 hours coming to Chile. In all, I was satisfied.

Close to Everything

I got a neat one bedroom condo in a condo bldg. so I felt like I moved to Santiago for 3 nights. The bed was great and the place was very quiet. It is only 4 blocks from the Plaza de Armas, an easy walk to Bella Vista and I even walked back from Barrio Brasil. One note, from the US the flight gets in about 8:00am, take the Centrobus to Pajaritas Metro (total cost $4.00) and you get to the hotel by 10:00am. The Hotel charges $30 for an early check-in. I paid. Right next to condo bldg. is a nice supermarket for food, wine and beer, etc.

THIS HOTEL IS PERFECT LOCATION, CENTRAL AND ACCESSIBLE. THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AND LET US USE THE INTERNET WHEN THE INTERNET IN THE ROOM WAS DOWN. HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES NEED IMPROVEMENT, BUT WE KEPT OUR PLACE CLEAN ON OUR OWN. VERY PLEASED WITH THE HOTEL AND WOULD STAY AGAIN.

A good place for a stay in Santiago

Very central to main sites to see. Located close to metro that gives you access to all the city.The apartment was well-equiped (supermarket next door to get essentials) and reception were very helpful (they also spoke English). If you don't like city noise ask for an internal apartment. The apartments are easy to get to from the airport (no need for a taxi). As you exit customs follow the signs for the buses (or ask - good English Spoken). Buy a ticket for a bus that takes. This takes you into the Universidad de Santiago Station from where you can get the metro. You buy tickets for a single journey get on Lina 1 and take the San Pablo direction. (there are usually helpers on the station - they can be identified by the plackards they hold aloft). You can get a map and a route planner for the metro online by searching for Santiago Metro . Get off at Santa Lucia and take the exit for Miraflores. Walk up Miraflores for about 5mins and it Joins Merced. Turn right and the hotel is a few hundred yards.

Excellent location close to sights and facilities

Excellent location in a world class city. All facilities were within walking distance as were many of the tourist destinations. The Metro was within 100m making it easy to visit attractions further afield and get to the airport or bus terminals. We felt secure when walking even late at night and were overwhelmed by the friendly and amiable people. Can´t wait to visit Chile again and will certainly use these apartments which were modern clean and secure.

Very good place to start discovery of Santiago

Very good place to start the visit of Santiago. Possibility to cook your own food in the small kitchen, and they even do the dishes. Checkin possible from 15:00, but they did their best to get the room done even earlier. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Excellent appartment, very nice renovated with everything you need. Close to both the city center square and the bus terminal (8-10 min with a backpack)
Only issue is that the lower appartments facing the road suffer from the traffic noise in the street.

Had a really lovely stay here, apartment was lovely, clean and modern in a fantastic location : firmly recommend paying opera restaurant a visit (very close to apartment)
The staff were extremely welcoming, (especially NIcolas and his boss) who made us coffee and gave us traditional Chilean cakes on our arrival!

it was a decent location - near the plaza armas and right next to a big supermarket, which is a plus since the hotel room comes with a kitchen. the bad: we were expecting a hotel but it was a condo complex with some hotel rooms so there was no real 'hotel' service - we couldn't even get a wake up call in the morning. if you don't speak english, its hard to get pass the front gate since they just tell you to wait and you have no idea what you're waiting for. don't get the taxi shuttle service - we were ripped off! we paid for it beforehand and at the set time, we were waiting outside for a taxi, which came, but once we got to the airpot, they taxi demanded money before he gave us his luggage. we even got the police involved and showed them our payment to the hotel but they didn't seem to care. waste of money. would rather go to a hotel with an actual front desk.

Good VAlue if you can leave with some noise

All in all, a decent hotel experience, and a reasonable value. Note that these really are actual apartments. The check-in clerk said that 60% of units are leased apartments vs. \"hotel rooms\", and it seemed perhaps higher. This means that there is no hotel feel, and no check-in counter (this took place in an 8th floor apt.). There is, however, room cleanup service all days but Sunday.

On the plus side, this setup gives you the experience to feel like a resident of this city. There is decent/free Wifi, and the room styling is modern (albeit with an occasional gouge or scrape in the drywall). The location is also pretty central, with most tourist attractions within comfortable walking distance.

On the minus side, IT IS LOUD, particularly on a Saturday night. My room faced the interior courtyard, giving it the feel of a college dorm tower. If you're sensitive to late night noise, bring earplugs, or request an outside facing room. If you're really sensitive, stay elsewhere. Strangely, there was shower gel, but no bar of soap to wash one's hands and face.

Pésimo, para empezar, reservamos una habitación con aire acondicionado y no tenia. Segundo; el baño estaba malo, fueron \"a arreglarlo\" y quedó igual. Tercero, la televisión no funcionaba, ya que no tenía cable y la antena no funcionaba, ni siquiera se podían ver canales locales. Cuarto, la cama en pésimas condiciones, colchón viejo e incómodo. Lo único rescatable es la limpieza del lugar, fuera de eso... Nefasto.

O quarto era moderno e estava em perfeitas condições, o lugar tem ótima localização, apenas 2 quadras do metro, ao lado de um supermercado e perto de parques. O apartamento possui todos os itens para cozinhar, incluindo forno e microondas. Único problema q tive foi a conversão que eles fizeram do dolar para o peso chileno, muito alta (saiu mais de 20% mais caro por causa dessa conversão).

No quarto a única coisa que não funcionou foi o telefone para falar com o escritório, responsável pelo quarto; faltou mais utensilio de cozinha, como panela para cozinhar e fazer refeições. super tranquilo para dormir. Not easy to find the reception of the apartments. It is actually located in the opposite street. When checking in we had to pay CASH in USD or an additional 19% tax would be charged, notwitstanding our confirmed direct booking via hotels.com.

A equipe sempre me atendeu com rapidez. O gás do fogão não estava funcionando. Devido a isso eles me trocaram de apartamento assim que solicitei. Os quartos tem aquecedor e ar condicionado.
Também não sabia utilizar o cofre e eles mandaram imediatamente um funcionário para me explicar. Foi muito boa a estadia.

Hotellia oli todella vaikea löytää. kadun numero oli näkyvissä suljetun, vartioidun portin yläpuolella, mutta ei hotellin nimeä.
Portinvartija (ei puhunut englantia) neuvoi sisäpihalle, hissillä 8. kerrokseen ja sieltä rappukäytävässä, summerin takana oli pieni hipne, joka toimi respana. Kaikki systeemit olivat todella kotikutoiset. Huone sinänsä siisti ja ilmastointi toimi.

Das Appartment liegt sehr zentral in Santiago- viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Direkt neben dem Appartmentkomplex liegt ein Supermarkt und diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Nähe zu finden.
Etwas versteckt liegt die Rezeption- aber das Team war sehr nett und hilfsbreit.

Uma noite, tudo que eu queria era uma noite antes de pegar o voo para São Paulo, porém na noite de hospedagem o suporte que prende o chuveiro estava solto e com a pressão da ducha molhou o banheiro inteiro e tive que tomar banho como se fosse chuveirinhos, solicitei o reparo, a atendente não sabia arrumar e informou que pela manhã estaria enviando uma pessoa.l até as 9 h, passou 10 horas e nada, depois apareceu um senho que veio me avisar o horário do check-out aproveitei e mostrei a ele o defeito, disse que ia pegar o material e efetuar a troca, 11 horas nada, decidi tomar banho mesmo sendo como se fosse com chuveirinho, eis q, nada de água, o check-out era as 12 h a previsão de retorno da agua as 15 h, Pq ninguém avisou, a sorte q tinha uma garrafa de água e deu para escovar os dentes e lavar o rosto. Ninguém se prontificou a ajudar ou qualquer coisa do tipo.

Apart hotel confortável.
Tive problemas com a janela que não fechava, e era possível acessar o meu apto pelo jardim interno do edifício, onde frequentemente havia movimento de pessoas.
Só consegui trocar de habitação no terceiro dia, depois de várias reclamações e promessas não cumpridas de que iriam consertar a janela.

Santiago Suite appartement est un bon compromis a Santiago, les appartements proposent tout le confort avec une cuisine bien équipée et une vraie chambre. La résidence est sécurisée. Néanmoins, des travaux juste derrière la résidence étaient un peu bruyant en journée. L'appartement était de bonne facture mais certains petits détails (trou dans le canapé, poignée de placard cassée) mériteraient d'être amélioré.

Sin cochera disponible

Todo bien en general, pero cuando llegamos, a pesar de que habíamos reservado con cochera, no había disponible ninguna cochera. Tuvimos que dejar el auto en un estacionamiento de la esquina que nos cobraron el doble. Sí destaco la atención excelente de la Srta. que nos recepcionó, creo que se llama Valeria. El departamento muy cómodo.La piscina no es temperada.

Apart com ótima localização

Localização muito boa. Funciona como um apart hotel. O local é espaçoso e tem bons restaurantes perto, além de supermercado grande do lado e estação de metro a um quarteirão. Recomendo!

O flat era bem equipado. Com localização excelente (acho que melhor impossível), pra quem vai turistar msm...duas estacoes de metrô bem próximas...restaurantes e supermercados perto tb. Recomendo dmais...vlw

一般のアパートの何室かを管理会社がアパートホテルとして管理しているため、入り口の管理人がホテルフロントスタッフに電話で連絡をして　ホテルスタッフが迎えに来たが、なかなかスタッフに繋がらないので　入り口で随分と待たされた。またフロントとの連絡は　内線ではなく外線。フロントの情報も少なく　慣れていないと使いにくい宿。内部は清潔で調度品も揃っているので　長期利用には良い。

O apart. fica no Centro de Santiago, próximo a restaurantes, aos pontos turísticos que dá para fazer todos ali do centro a pé, para outros bairros fora de Providência por exemplo, fizemos em 15 minutos caminhando, curtindo a paisagem que tem por todo lado, praças lindas e boas para tirar fotos, além disso, o apart é vizinho de um mercado, onde pudemos efetuar compras sempre que necessário. Duas estações de metrô próximas, que te permite andar por todas as estações de forma rápida e prática,o que ajuda na locomoção para outros pontos turísticos que estejam fora do município de Santiago. Tivemos oportunidade de andar a noite (22h30), ficamos um pouco cautelosos, mas nada ocorreu. Almoçamos e jantamos na região nos primeiros dias, em outro fomos de metrô no shopping e depois no bairro Bella Vista. Também, na Calle Herfanos, é possível contar com uma casa de cambio, que facilita a troca de dinheiro durante a semana e quando necessário. Bem aconchegante, possuía tv a cabo e na parte do quarto (duplex), um espaço só para a cama e um closet deixando as roupas e malas bem organizadas. O Banheiro é bem grande, no nosso tínhamos banheira, mas não conseguimos utilizá-la.
