There was NO HEAT! It was -2 outside and we were freezing. We had two mini portable heaters and both didn’t work. There was no hot water. The hairdryer was broken. There was no communication beforehand and check-in was a nightmare.

The stay here was horrible. The management never picked up the phone. The electricity went out and they didn’t answer until the next day. The shower was non-functioning in both bathrooms. The space was not very clean. We ended up staying somewhere else for a night or two. Do not recommend. Centrally locates but that is it.

We stayed from 16.09.17 to 01.10.17. My sister and brother arrived first and picked up the keys. The lady on Level Three who the booking is through and who you check in with speaks good English. The staff on the front desk do not. However, this should not really be an issue as you do not have to deal with them at all through out the duration of you stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, Two good sized bedrooms with two bathrooms. The size of the lounge / diner was more than adequate and the kitchenette had everything you needed if you wanted to eat in. I had a lovely surprise after our first day out to come back to find that the apartment had been serviced in that the cleaner had changed towels, put away the dishes I had washed, swept etc.this happened daily apart from Sunday. Also after less than a week our bed sheets were changed, so they were done twice during our stay.
The toilet broke in one of the bathrooms, this was picked up by the cleaner in the morning and the plumber came that night!
The apartment is very close to Santiago Centro, minutes away in fact, there are good restaurants on the same street or around any corner, there is a Supermarket across the road from the front exit and up the road to the left from the rear exit. Again, it is only a short pleasant walk through the park to enjoy Bella Vista and all its bustling eateries/bars and make your way up to the wonderful Cerro San Cristóbal. I really cannot fault it and will book to stay here again.

Manage your expectation

The hotel is not as modern or clean as the photos. Its not an aparthotel, its a few apartment in a building with no normal hotel services. For instance, we had lots of luggage and two kids - the taxi dropped us in the street with no way of getting the bags other than moving a few meters at a time.

OUR TAXI DRIVER HAD TROUBLE FINDING THIS PLACE. IT IS NOT A HOTEL, NO FRONT DESK, NO SIGN OUTSIDE, NO PHONES, NO MANAGEMENT OFFICE. THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR FACILITY, NOT EVEN CLOSE. Good location, everything else - mediocre

This apartment building is located in the very center of Santiago, with lots of supermarkets and restaurants right outside, and within walking distance to Bellavista (nightlife), Mercado Central, museums and Plaza de Armas.

Management is completely incompetent, though. It took them about an hour to find my (prepaid few days in advance) reservation upon arrival. They advertise \"off-site\" parking, however they didn't really have any, and street parking in this area is very difficult. Room type was completely different from what I was sold - there were three single beds instead of one queen. The room was clean, but very basic. Hot water in the bathroom sink didn't work. Phone number advertised on their site did not work.

Too many things are wrong with this place. There are many better places to stay in this area.

Nice, comfortable and inexpensive stay

While the address of the apartment complex was easy to find once you get to the concierge desk, the people there had very little english and were quite unwilling to help. Once we worked out we needed to go to an apartment in order to collect our key, the gentleman there was nice and showed us to our apartment.

Good location

This was not a hotel but a serviced appartment within a regular appartment building. The check-in was efficient. Finding the check-in though was a bit of a guess as you had to take the elevator to the 1st floor. The unit was clean and plainly furnished, however the curtains had to be kept closed all the time as other units were right opposite being able to look into the place. That made the whole unit appear to be a bit dull and dark. There was no phone in the room, and the WiFi access was medíocre at best. However the location is great, right in the city centre near Plaza Des Armas. Provisiopn of tourist information about sites and tours was very limited, and organising a taxi to the airport was very unreliable. As in my case, despite a booking confirmation over the phone to the staff, they never arrived to picke me up, replying instead they did not get the reservation and therefore I had to make my own way to the airport. In all it was okay, but could have been a bit better.

Not an actual hotel

This is actually an apartment - the company owns a few in a residential building and rents them out. The \"hotel office\" is just another apartment in the building, and it was difficult to find (the door man sent me to the wrong apartment first). The room was ok, it wasn't the cleanest (hair, stains on the floor, etc). I guess you get what you pay for.

Great location within easy walking distance to Plaza de Armas (about 2 blocks). We briefly didn't have hot water, but the rooms were comfortable and a good value. The hotel staff was not present when we arrived, but they had left clear instructions for us with the building manager. Once we met the woman in charge of the hotel rooms at the end of our stay, she was very helpful. Also, an easy walk from the metro station. Would recommend to anyone interested in touring El Centro and the rest of Santiago.

The location was convenient. There is no official concierge desk but staff greets you downstairs and then takes you to your apartment. Ours was the 2 bedroom suite. It was well appointed and equipped with everything, dishes, silverware, fridge, stove, etc. which was helpful as we were there 7 nights so we were able to eat some meals and snacks in. Staff is Spanish-speaking mainly but very friendly and accommodating. One day there was no hot water, that's the only 1 negative, all else was great. I'd stay there again.

Hotel rooms in an apartment building

The rooms are tiny apartments in a residential apartment building so they have no services or information for tourists. It is a relatively good deal and the location was good. The rooms are run down and seem a bit dodgy. For a longer stay it is nice since it has a kitchen and for friends traveling together it would be good since the couches in the sitting room turn to beds. One of the main reasons I booked the hotel was for the pool - evidently it has been closed for a while so don;t come for that.

Nice place right in the heart of downtown

Efficient check-in process, you arrive to the desk of a regular apartment building, where the caretaker calls the lady in charge which lives close and comes to meet you. Note that staff and building personnel do not speak English! Cleaning and housekeeping was very good, nice building, with an amazing pool in the upper floor (kids loved it), superb views of the entire city! We found the apartment surprisingly quiet given that it is in the middle of downtown, but it probably depends on the orientation of the apartment they give to you.
Note that the large windows in these apartments open and there are no safety nets, but locks are high enough and hard to open for little ones, so we found it was not a problem for our kids.
Excellent location (1.5 blocks from Plaza de Armas in downtown), with a small, well stocked supermarket right in front of the building, I would recommend this for small families or couples to experience Santiago.

RECEPTION ONLY HAND OUT ROOM KEYS AND HAVE NO ENGLISH. NOT AT ALL HELPFUL.
DANGEROUS AREA. If you like to be out after 9pm do not book this NON- HOTEL. Street full of garbage and poor people going through garbage. Massively strong metal gates give an indication of how the owners feel about security. Remember you have to stand while you release these gates and you are not visible to reception area.
There is a kettle and facilities in the apartment but unless you have brought your own coffee sugar and milk don't expect to have any beverages.
Wi-Fi equipment provided and you can recognise its availability but nobody will tell you the password. The notes handed out with the key give both an incorrect login and password.
Advertised balcony and spa non existent.
Laundry services are a coin operated machine on ground floor but bring your own detergent

Not a hotel at all. It is a condo complex. We arrived after midnight to find a locked gate. Waited on he street with the hookers and homeless until someone came out of the building and we were able to get in. It says it has a balcony that over looks the city. Well it over looks a roof and is not a balcony it is a Juliette. If you don't speak Spanish and do not know the area or know were to go in Santiago, then this is not the place for you. There is no local map available. We booked two nights and only stayed for one.

Excellent accommodations for the price

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very helpful, although since we don't speak Spanish and they didn't speak any English, we did a lot of sign language! We were on the 8th floor, overlooking other buildings and rooftops, but the unit was quite nice, clean and comfortable. The photos quite accurately depict the unit, although there were a couple of inaccuracies in the description of amenities: there is NO restaurant at the property, and there is no dishwasher in the kitchen (but who cares anyway.) The rooftop garden with pool is wonderful, with 360 degree views of the city. There are areas for entertaining, with a sink and counters, but no chairs except for a few chaises around the pool. It would have been lovely to sit up in the shade and read...the hotel does NOT have AC, but both the living room and bedroom have Arcadia doors, so even in the summer it was quite pleasant. We enjoyed walking around the area, visiting the nearby Plaza de Armas with the History Museum. One evening when we wanted to find an upscale restaurant, the man at the front desk called someone who spoke English and he recommended the Catedral at Merced and Santa Lucia. Excellent!

The place is not a classical hotel. These are appartments rented out in a large building. Therefore no hotel atmosphere or service which I did not expect. If you go there make sure you speak Spanish or have some help. This was the biggest hurtle to me. Also have a Spanish copy of your reservation if possible. Other than that the location is great - right in the middle. I had a rental car but hardly used it since public transportation is good. The room itself was as advertised - good for two people. The room was clean, everything worked well and the TV shows plenty of goofy US shows. I certainly can recommend the place.

I expected less and got a very nice apt with new appliances and all equipped with new and clean pots, pans and silverware. Plus there is an extra bed in the living room. I'll definetly recommend to friends. Its very close to Plaza de Armas and a lot of other tourist attractions. There is no service at all, more like a regular apt. But thats no issue as its in front of a supermarket.

I was confused when I showed up to the address listed on the website and was told that I would actually be staying in a different location--it was only about 2 blocks away, but it was still a surprise to know that there are three separate locations where you can rent rooms. If you call ahead, you might be able to find out which building you're going to be in. Other than that, very friendly (entirely-Spanish-speaking) staff, and clean/pleasant premises.

Efficiency apartment in downtown Santiago

Staying here means you'll be renting one of several apartments in two buildings-- one at the Monjitas address and another a couple of blocks away. The property manager lives in the building and will come down and meet you (apartment front desk staff will call her). A good option if you don't mind not having any traditional hotel amenities and you want kitchenette access. Our room was clean, with the exception of the bath mat, which looked like a door mat. There is no air conditioning but Santiago cools down nicely at night so we just slept with the windows open. The Bellas Artes metro stop is just a few blocks away, as are several call centers/internet cafes, also convenient since we never got the wi-fi to work.

Great stay!

This hotel is in the heart of downtown Santiago. This is the perfect place for a traveler looking for an authentic Santiago experience. The staff doesn't speak any English. So you need to be comfortable with your Spanish or very adventurous. If you can communicate your need the staff can be very helpful though. This hotel is actually an apartment complex. So your room comes with everything a one bedroom apt would have (e.g., kitchen). Overall I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to anyone who is comfortable in South America. If your not comfortable with your spanish, a foreign country, or big city, I would recommend a more traditional hotel option.

Nice little 1-BDRM suite

For a surprisingly low price, I got an attractive 1 bedroom with a living room, bathroom (including a tub) and a kitchen, right in the heart of the Central Business District. The rooms were small but suitable. There was plenty of closet/storage space in the bedroom, but not so much in the bathroom. The decor was modern but not pretentiously so. The internet in the room worked without any issues except during a short blackout. The staff were polite and helpful if you need to ask them something. However none of them speak a word of English so due to my poor Spanish skills, my contact with them was limited.

The flat screen tv on the wall was a nice touch, as was the extensive free cable network.

The room was basically clean when I arrived except for (see below). The rooftop pool was open and people were using it. Great view of the city from the roof.

The elevators work and the windows open. They give you a fob to open the front door and the gate at night, it worked for me no problem. This hotel is in good working order.

Things I wasn't happy with: There were hairs in the sink, tub, and toilet when I arrived. Nobody came to clean the room for the entire week I was there. They provided a kitchen and some utensils and cooking tools, which is great, but no scrubber or dish soap, and nobody came to wash the dishes for the whole week. That's the reason I checked out. I ran out of clean pots & pans. Are the guests expected to go out and buy a scrubber and dish soap? I have no idea. I decided that's not my job and left it.

There was one of those rubber mats in the tub. I nearly killed myself standing on it a few times, because it kept sliding around. Finally I removed it which ironically made the tub much less dangerous.

The room was comfortable except it got cool in the evening and night. The gas heater on the wall didn't seem to work. There might have been some procedure to do to make it work, but I didn't ask what that might be. Flicking the switch on and off didn't do anything.

I would stay here again but only for short stays and only if I wasn't planning on eating in, because of the lack of service. This may be a cultural issue - maybe you're supposed to specifically request maid service in Chile. Who knows. Every other country I've been to, you have to put the sign on the door to get them to leave you alone.

Great place to stay in Santiago!

We really enjoyed our stay at Torre Tagle Apartments. Everything you could possibly need is so close - surrounded by restrauants with different cuisines, markets for groceries next to and across the road from the Apartments. Very short walk to, bus stop, metro, the Main Square and as many shops as you can wish to visit. It was also close to the Tourist Office at the Main Square.The apartment was very nicely furnished, the security was top notch and we couldn't have had a better location. There were only two small problems, none of the staff at the Apartment spoke a word of English, which caused a few difficulties but we managed to get by with out trusty Spanish/English dictionary and when we were really stuck we called the gentleman we had dealt with via email. The other problem was that they had no egg lifter...lol We would stay there again in a heart beat and recommend the Apartments to anyone.

O apartamento é de bom tamanho, sala/cozinha e uma suíte. Bem localizado para teríamos a pé ou de transporte público e aplicativo. Supermercados ao lado, restaurantes e lancherias.

O sofá poderia ser melhor. A Tv poderia ser maior e smart. O chuveiro precisa de manutenção, fica solta... mas a quantidade e temperatura da água são excelentes. As toalhas não estavam cheirosas.

Portaria 24h, prédio grande. Há certo barulho.

A administradora e os porteiros foram muito atenciosos.

Bodenbeläge sollten erneuert werden. Ausblick zum Hinterhof ist ernüchternd. Keine Funktionshinweise/Bedienungsanleitung zu Klimaanlage, Heizung und TV vorhanden. Haare vom Vorgänger auf dem Backblech.

キッチンは一通りの道具が揃っており、自炊しやすいホテルです。まわりのスーパーもだいたいの生活用品がそろっており、繁華街にも近いです。バスタオルは交換はありませんが一階にコインランドリーがあります。トイレットペーパーも2-3日に1つ持ってきてくれます。
水回りに時々虫が出るのと部屋の備品(カーテンやベッド)が古いのを除けばいいアパルトメントだと思います。
一階のフロントでタクシーも呼んでもらえますし、ちょっとした相談にものってくれます。

Minha filha quebrou dois pratos e o dono do apartamento foi muito simpatico, não me cobrou, mas mesmo assim comprei em uma loja para repor. As camas eram confortaveis e tinha canais de tv a cabo e wi-fi muito bom. O chuveiro era bem complicado para ligar, no ultimo dia não consegui tomar banho. A localização excelente com lugares baratos proximos. Tambem conta com ar condicionado.

La peor experiencia

Lamentablemente no funciono la calefaccion, el secador de pelo y la plancha tenia el enchufe malo, horrible experiencia porque la calefeccion con temperaturas bajo cero era realmente necesaria y como la oficina atiende hasta las 21:00 hrs fue imposible hacer algo. Realmente la peor experiencia. Lo elegi por ubicacion, tenia reunion en el ministerio, pero fue desastrosa.

Praticidade, boa localização e conforto

Foi tudo bem tranquilo. O flat estava limpo e tinha toda a estrutura que precisavamos. Cama boa e confortável, com vários cobertores extras, armário e closet muito bons, banheiro pequeno mas atendeu bem. O unico ponto negativo foi que tentamos usar o cooktop mas nao funcinou, apesar de termos avisado que nao estava funcionando adequadamente.

Ademas de que las condiciones del departamento fueron excelentes (lo cual no es mejor), tiene una pileta abierta de 10am a 10pm con una vista fabulosa a la ciudad y a los Cerros Santa Lucía y San Cristóbal. Y como si esto fuera poco, la ubicación es increíble para moverte en metro, la estación \"Plaza de Armas\" se encuentra a 2 cuadras, atravesada por líneas que te llevan a todos los puntos de Santiago. No es recomendable para auto, ya que al ser zona céntrica, no hay lugar para estacionar; si es que no tenes en vista una cochera cerca (el hotel no tiene servicio de cochera). Si vas a comprar, estas cerca de todas las tiendas, busca bien porque hay outlet super copados en pleno centro, como así también el mercado central a 4 cuadras. IMPERSIBLE.

O Hotel está bem no centro de Santiago, fácil acesso aos pontos turísticos da parte histórica, próximo a estação de Metro. Próximo a restaurantes, lanchonetes e mercados, tem um grande supermercado a 200 mts do hotel. Pequena cozinha bem equipada. A 10 minutos de caminhada do Pateo Bella Vista. Gerente atencioso.

Bom mas com ressalvas !

O pessoal da administração é fantástico e nos ajudou muito numa situação de passagens aéreas com problema que tivemos de remarcar translado e outras coisas, a Internet é sensacional, a localização melhor é impossível, no geral foi bom, mas o apartamento é 2012 é muuuuito sujo, as toalhas chegavam a ter manchas e não eram trocadas, o vaso do banheiro travava a descarga toda hora e tínhamos de desmontar a tampa para apertar com a mão e parar de vazar e a água só esquentava no chuveiro depois dele ligado uns 7ou 8 minutos correndo água direto.

PODE-SE FUMAR EM AREAS FECHADAS NO CHILE...bad

DE um modo geral estada foi muito boa. Ponto positivo> perto de tudo ...
Ponto negativo> uso constante de cigarros na area comum o que traz um enorme desconforto. Ultima dia de estada apartamento estava com cheiro forte de cigarro e imagino que foi provocado por quem fez a limpeza. Comentei para a administracao e a mesma falou que era impossivel pois pessoa da limpeza nao fuma. Mas cheiro estava inclusive na suite do apto. Ainda bem que foi no ultimo dia de estada. DEVERIA SER PROIBIDO O USO DE CIGARROIS NAS AREAS COMUNS DO PREDIO!
Camas pouco confortavei> muito macias o que provocda afundamento do corpo no colchao. faltaram panos de pratos na cozinha.

A estadia começou muito bem , fomos atendidos pelo responsável pelos apartamentos no terceiro andar , e o responsável foi muito gentil , amável e prestativo , inclusive disponibilizando o apartamento antes do horário normal de check in porque nossa voo chegou cedo em Santiago . O apartamento é bem funcional , limpo , bem localizado e seguro . Como pontos negativos posso apontar que a água não esquentava em um dos banheiros e um dos dois cooktops não funcionava , do mais foi uma estadia tranquila e recomendo o apartamento !

Es handelt sich um ein Appartment in einem Wohngebäude mit Zutrittskontrolle.

Die Lage könnte für einen Besuch des Zentrums nicht besser sein.
Ein Lebensmittelladen ist auf der anderen Strassenseite wo es auch frische Brötchen gibt.
Das Appartment ist voll eingerichtet , einschliesslich der Küche.

Leider war die Badewanne beschädigt und die Farbe darin abgeplatzt und der Zimmersafe war defekt.

Es sind vermietete Apartments in einem Wohnblock.
Anstatt einer Rezeption gibt es eine Theke mit Sicherheitsdienst.
Die Apartments liegen sehr zentral und vieles Sehenswerte ist fussläufig zu erreichen.
Auf der anderen Strassenseite ist ein Supermarkt in dem es auch frische Brötchen gibt.
Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Zwei Haustüren weiter gibt es Internetcaffee's

Die Zimmer werden täglich gereinigt und die Betten werden gemacht.
Allerdings ist einiges abgewohnt und im Bad platzt schon der Lack von der Wanne.
Das stört den Gesamteindruck.
Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgt in einem provisorischen Büro in der dritten Etage R.318

O apartamento não estava bem limpo, ou seja, haviam limpado, mas tinha muitos pontos sujos e mal cuidados. A roupa de cama estava suja e as toalhas velhas. O atendimento dos responsáveis pelo apartamento foi muito bom e cordial, mas o quarto precisa ser mais bem cuidado. A internet é muito boa e o quarto bem quentinho.

Cheguei sexta-feira e a noite senti um cheiro de queimado.O ar condicionado ligava e desligava.No sabado falei com a Diana e por sorte tinha um eletrecista.Queimaram duas tomadas e ele trocou.O aparelho portatil nao pode ser ligado,pois dava sobre carga e o disjuntor desligava.Deveria ter um suporte para se segurar no box para entrar e sair da banheira.E muito escorregadio e perigoso.O fogao nao esquentava e nao deu para usa-lo.
