The room was not quite what we expected from a Sheraton. It looks like the hotel as a whole needs an upgrade.
The only part that looks renovated was the lobby. The rest looks shabby and in need of improvement. Specially the bathroom.

I stayed at the Sheraton in Bariloche, and overall, it was a good experience. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities were in good condition. Both check-in and check-out were quick and without issues. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a good variety and quality of products.

The room I stayed in had some aspects that could be improved: the furniture and TV felt a bit outdated, and the lighting was quite intense and spot-focused, which wasn’t ideal for taking photos.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed the relaxation room with lounge chairs, offering a beautiful view of Lake Nahuel Huapi and the sunsets—definitely a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant and recommendable stay.

The room is big and has a good view of the lake and mountains. The daily cleaning is not good, not wash the cups. The hotel has no facial tissue, no coffee cups, only paper cups and no slippers. The complimentary water will be given only on the first day, no matter how many days you have stayed. The bath tub got stuck, water couldn’t flow down. Even though the technician came to fix it every day. The breakfast is good but there are not many varieties of food.

Great view- a little noisy at night

The hotel room was huge with a mini fridge and huge bed. We booked a lake view and it was perfect- basically the whole of the front of the room was window and looked across the lake. It was lovely. The hotel is opposite a night club that did disturb us at the weekend.

Property was very odd. Atmosphere of a 1960s airport. Pool does not open until noon. Breakfast was excellent. Staffvexceedingly courteous. However, the hotel was an extreme disppointment after seeing so many more interesting places in this fascinating city. I had pre paid which was a huge mistake as i wanted to be at any of the other nearby hotels, in fact, i should have just eaten the cost!

Overall positive experience in pleasant well managed hotel a short walk from town centre. Received a room upgrade to front overlooking lake which ended up NOT being a good thing: Friday & Saturday nights (all night) EXCESSIVE street noise from revellers hanging around the casino entrance across the road. Nice swimming pool on roof (heated indoor) and good lobby bar plus eateries all around. Just avoid a street facing room even if it's a free upgrade.

The room was not in accordance of the information in the Expedia Itinerary. It was very small and the bed was not a king bed. After a claim, in the next day they changed the room for one a bit larger and with king bed. Lobby and the facilities are good but everything is a little old and some places need maintanance. The breakfast is very good but every day shows the same things. The restaurant has no big variety in the menu and the personal service is limited. There is live music every night in the lobby/restaurant. The hotel is good but it does not deserves the 4 stars classification.

amazing staff.

The building is a 30 years old and you may see the pass of the time. When I checked in they sent me to a room located in the back side of the hotel on the floor eleven, and I found this room full of small ants. The next morning when I claimed for that, The woman of the staff changed our room.
The best of this hotel is, the staff, the breakfast and the location. Also the pool is very good. They said me they are fighting with the ants but there is to consider that the building is enclosed at the mountain.

Worst Hotel Experience in Many years

The Panamericano hotel is well located within walking distance to many restaurants and in downtown Bariloche. The problem we experienced is that the hotel is under renovation, so starting right around 8 AM and through 8 PM there is a lot of banging going on. We stayed for five days four nights, we asked for a different room three times. We were moved three times but since the constructions is cinder block and concrete noise travels throughout the entire building. The first two nights were the worst my wife and I could not even hold a conversation it was so loud with work going on on both sides of our room.
You would think that the admin would have an organized and well planned reconstruction but we were on the 9th floor and then on the 7th floor and last on the 5th floor and work was going on. You would think that they would stop work say after 5 or 6 but that did not happen either. I feel that we should have been told that the hotel was re-modeling so we could have stayed elsewhere. We did not get any real rest nor did we enjoy our stay. The hotel manager was not very helpful either and seemed helpless with the construction work. in hind site I was ripped off by the hotel when they accepted my reservation.
I think it is fair to say that under normal circumstances the hotel may offer a nice stay, but at this time forget it!

Big older hotel in need of a refurbishment. In centre of Bariloche town which is the gateway to mostly budget adventure vacations.
Lake views are spectacular but those rooms also face the street which is noisy with party goers all night long on Saturday and holidays. Ask for floor 6 and above.
Hotels outside the centre are more difficult to get to and from. Always telephone for taxies.

Double check what you book!

Hard to say if this is the hotel fault or hotels.com, or both.But really blows when you book a king size bed standard room with view to one of the most amazing lakes in the world and you get a twin bed s**t box loking out to an alley wall. that was the starting is THAT, I believe no surprises surprise you for the rest of the trip.

The staff at Hotel Panamericano is the best.

The Hotel Panarmericano was very well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the lake. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were friendly and worked very hard to help us set-up excursions and provided great advise about re-arranging our travel itinerary when we could not get bus tickets to Valdivia, Chile. I highly recommend this hotel.

We made the mistake of not booking a room with a lake view, which made the tiny room, with really short ceilings, seem even smaller. The mattress was thin, and uncomfortable. The decor was cheap and outdated. The bathroom tiles had grime between them. There were no amenities in the room when we first checked in, so we had to ask for them, but ended up buying our own later. The comforter cover and blanket did not appear to have been laundered in a long time. Even though the heater was off, the room was really hot, and there was nothing that we could do about it because there was no thermostat for us to put on the fan or the air conditioner, and only one tiny window that did not open all the way. The pool and the sunbathing area by it were dirty. The workout room was dismal, with only two very old treadmills on the verge of breaking down, and one stairmaster that must have come from the last century, and which obviously didn't work. And the floor was very dirty. My head almost hit the ceiling when running on the treadmill. Breakfast was atrocious-the coffee was undrinkable, the pastries were not fresh and not homemade, and they offered a very poor selection of meats/cheeses and cereals. The staff wasn't very friendly, and minimally helpful.

Not what was expected

Even though i was extremely excited for the stay in this hotel in Bariloche. However, the hotel was a very basic. Coming from someone who has traveled to over 25 countries it was certainly not a 4 or 5 star hotel as advertised. It was in severe need of renovation which appears to have last been done in the 1970s. The staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel only to travelers looking for a bargain.

Ótima! Os funcionários são ótimos, atenciosos e sempre a disposição. A vista do quarto era incrível. A comida disponibilizada era o café da manhã, bem gostoso também. O que deixou a desejar foram algumas questões do quarto: a banheira transbordava toda vez que era utilizada, informamos no primeiro dia e mais uma vez, porém nada foi feito. Já na reserva solicitei o quarto com banheira na janela, assim como na foto do site, falaram que iriam reservar, porém quando cheguei não era o mesmo quarto. Tinha q banheira também, porém diferente, mais apertada e com um vazamento que alagava o quarto todos os dias. Os rodapés também estavam caindo. A lareira era só para enfeitar o quarto, não funcionava e não havia informação no anúncio sobre o não funcionamento. Fora isso, estadia incrível! Apesar dos pequenos defeitos valeu a pena a viagem, foi tudo lindo! Mas pelo preço do quarto acho que todos essas questões são bem relevantes, pois é um dos mais caros e pelo preço pago deveria estar tudo impecável. Fui para Bariloche e tive que ficar secando o chão que alagava…

Tudo no hotel é Velho: Roupas de cama e banho, banheiro, mobilia, a janela condensa e molha o quarto. Cobertores horríveis . Calefação péssima é absurdamente velha. Sem exagero , o banheiro foi construído na mínimo em 1970. Caso mencionem
que tem banheira no quarto , é piada. Único local aconchegante é a recepção, também velha. Café da manhã decepcionante, pouca variedade (mesmo cardápio todos os dias). Não compatível com o valor da diária . Em 7 cafés , apareceram 3 x doce de leite . Achei que a mudança de nome acompanharia uma reforma . Não recomendo

Abaixo da expectativa, tratando-se da rede Sheraton. Ótimo atendimento na recepção, mas regular no restaurante. Limpeza sofrível - copo sujo no banheiro com limo no fundo. Banheiro precisa de manutenção, piso descascado, paredes com marca de infiltração, chuveiro com jato de agua fraco e água fica fria de repente, produtos de higiene de baixissima qualidade e limitados a sabão e xampu, ambos horríveis, barulho de conserto do andar de cima de noite e de manhã cedo, ar condicionado difícil de ajustar. Pessimo custo-beneficio. Caríssimo pelo que oferece.

Lo peor es que nos dieron una habitación con vista a la parte de atrás que daba a un hostel, y como teníamos que abrir la ventana para no ahogarnos entonces no podíamos dormir por el ruido. 4 noches sin poder dormir bien. Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel ! Le personnel a été extrêmement aimable et professionnel, en particulier Gabriel qui a eu la gentillesse de nous laisser une attention spéciale pour notre voyage de noces, un geste très apprécié. La chambre était superbe, nous avons très bien dormi, et la vue était absolument magnifique.

L'espace détente du spa était également très agréable, et le jacuzzi a ajouté une touche de relaxation bien méritée après une journée de visites. Dommage que la piscine soit hors service pendant notre séjour, mais cela n'a pas nui à l'expérience globale.

Le petit-déjeuner, bien que correct, était un peu léger et manquait de variété pour un début de journée plus copieux. Un autre point à améliorer: une grande partie de l’équipe ne parlait pas anglais, ce qui a parfois compliqué les échanges.

Cela dit, nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel pour son accueil chaleureux et son cadre agréable. Merci encore à toute l'équipe pour leur professionnalisme!

Os responsáveis na recepção do hotel Sheraton não atenderam ao meu pedido de conserto da porta do quarto que me foi reservado!! Ignoraram!!! A porta estava emperrada e as crianças não podiam abrir e fechar sozinhas!! Foi um grande estorvo!!! Inadmissível para um hotel 4 estrelas, onde paguei caríssimo… Também não tinha um apoio para as malas! Ficaram todas no chão… Foi tudo isso um grande descaso!! Foi frustrante!! Estivemos em família numa viagem maravilhosa sendo que passamos por uma greve nacional e a equipe da recepção nos deu todo suporte na hora de postergar nossa estadia!
O quarto é espaçoso e confortável com vista linda porém no verão patagonico, o calor estava forte e o quarto não possui ar condicionado e o frigobar não gela…
Fora esses dois itens, o hotel foi maravilhoso

O atendimento no check-in foi muito ruim, falho. A funcionária estava sozinha atendendo um número grande de hóspedes fazendo checkout e não se expressou de forma adequada conosco que havíamos acabado de chegar ao hotel. Atendimento frio, rude.
O lounge do hotel estava com um cheiro forte de cigarros e meio escuro apesar de ser 11h da manhã. Péssima a impressão visual e olfativa ao chegar.
Ao entrar no quarto que paguei pelo vista, foi uma decepção. A sujeira do lado externo do vidro da janela impedia uma boa visualização do panorama.

Hotel com excelente localização, bem perto do centro de Bariloche. Fica próximo também de mercado e farmácia. Um dos destaques é a vista do hotel para o lago, que é muito bonita. Apenas achei o banheiro do quarto um pouco apertado e acredito que seria muito melhor sem a banheira. Apesar disso o quarto era confortável e o café da manhã com várias opções. Foi uma estadia agradável.

La infraestructura del hotel original se nota que fue muy buena, pero necesita mantenimiento. El baño particularmente estaba limpio y tenía lo necesario, pero sus artefactos eras originales (de los 90), bastante desgastados y el baño en general necesitaba un reacondicionamiento general, lo mismo que todas las salas comunes del hotel. La ubicación es excelente y la vista increíble.

Gosto deste hotel

Boa. A localização é boa , colaboradores educados, café da manhã bom, a manutenção dos quartos é necessária, móveis antigos, aquecimento regular, água do chuveiro às vezes não funcionou. Comida excelente, mas atendimento demorado. Falta um restaurante, separado do lobby bar. Pouco apoio para passeios e dicas.

O hotel já está bastante antigo, mudou a bandeira para Marriott, tem que ser atualizado. O café da manhã é bom e o atendimento do pessoal é ótimo.

No existe una correcta relación precio/calidad, dado que por el monto en la ciudad y en si en general los hoteles tienden a estar en mejores condiciones, por ejemplo, calefacción, insonorización de las habitaciones, antigüedad de los elementos no concuerdan con la tarifa

Decepcionante, no lo recomiendo…

Realmente no recomiendo para nada este hotel. Fue un verdadero problema nuestra estadía allá. De partida no tuvimos estacionamiento como se mencionó al momento de la reserva. Si usted desea tener estacionamiento debe pagar extra (app de 12 pesos chilenos por día).
El acceso a wifi debe ser pagado, cosa que también venía incluida al momento de la reserva, este tipo de cosas deberían ser aclaradas al momento de reservar (independiente si es por “ecotasas”aplicadas en el país propio).
Si desea descansar, olvídelo, ruidos por todos lados.
El hotel con sus mantenciones en pésimo estado, anticuado y poco higiénico. Realmente el precio que cobran no es equivalente a un hotel de 4 estrella???? vagamente alcanzan las 2 estrellas. Y aún no viene lo peor, lo que terminas pagando es casi el doble de lo estipulado en tu reserva.
La atención pésima ( creo que solo 1 recepcionista que olvide preguntar su nombre salvo dentro de todo lo horrible de este lugar)
No lo recomiendo, no volvería ni al hotel ni a Bariloche. Antes de reservar lean los comentarios, realmente este hotel no vale lo que cobran.
Si desean un hotel de calidad busquen mejores opciones, hay muchas en Bariloche pero les aseguro que esta no es!!!
Y no me interesa que escriban diciendo que están trabajando para solucionar los inconvenientes porque por lo que veo los comentarios son siempre los mismos y las quejan siguen siendo las mismas.
Dejan bastante que desear

Para nunca volver ni muchos menos recomendar!

Hermoso Hotel. Lindo gimnasio y piscina con vista al lago Nahuel Huapi. Limpieza y desayuno continental excelentes.

Lamentablemente este hotel se ha quedado en el tiempo, con haitaciones de lo años 80 sin actualizar y mal mantenido. Estuve aqui hace 30 años y lo unico que cambio fue el televisor

El hotel es muy bueno. Sus habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas ainqie el baño necesita renovación tanto como tohallas . La limpieza, atención y SPA excelentes. Mejoraría sustancialmente si las habitaciones estuvieran provistas de pava eléctrica e insumos para café o té.
