Location was good, walking distance to main attractions. It is on the edge of lastarria district. Neighbourhood is safe but you may want to be cautious of which direction you're walking when exploring after sunset.
Room size was good, we had plenty of space for 2. Cleanliness was ok - the place was a bit dated so some areas did look a bit rough. Interesting that the coffee in the room is not included and was a minibar charge, but I guess I missed the sign.
Breakfast had the essentials.
Front desk was helpful for the most part. They helped with luggage storage. Also got some help when we had trouble with our wine tour booking.

Wonderful experience!

Location was great. We could walk to so many places.
Supermarket close by for snacks. Windows are double glazed so street sound was minimal.

Central warm & inviting

Being central to everything & yet the rooms were quiet (double glazing). The staff were friendly & Miguel the taxi driver they arranged for us was fantastic. We laughed so much. The room was clean & plenty big enough even with the huge bed. Breakfast was filling & I liked there were roast veggies available after so much meat & bread in Chilean meals.

Hotel Sommelier Boutique was wonderful! The property is beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms are spacious. Costumer service was great with staff being very accommodating and friendly. The hotel is in a great location, close to many important Santiago landmarks and sites, along with a slew of restaurants and cafes. It is also a 5 minute walk from the artsy Lastarria neighborhood. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding, and so was the rooftop restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel!

I love this hotel so much that I get upset when my company doesn't allocate enough money to stay there. The people are very friendly and work with my Spanish practice although they are fluent in English.

Although the breakfast area is small, they put on a very nice breakfast buffet. They also offer coffee that I like, coffee caliente con leche fría.

The location is perfect for visiting .Santiago Centro, is centered around Plaza de Armas, the city's historical heart. There are many shops and local vendors line the streets selling their wares. There are musicians busking on the city corners. There is such a vibrant, joyous feeling that I spend a lot of time there.

Also very close to the hotel is the Cerro Santa Lucía (Santa Lucia Hill). This hill, located in the city center, offers a park with staircases and plazas leading to a viewpoint at the summit.

There are fruit and vegetable markets walkable from this hotel.

This hotel was very nice. Front desk staff all spoke English and were very accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very basic and when eggs got cold they didn’t replace them. Parking was just down the street for $10 per day. Located in a central area of Santiago. I would stay at this place again.

The the hotel is really well located near the metro and mini great shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the Plaza de armas. Breakfast was included in our stay and is excellent. We had a suite overlooking one of the main streets, which was very quiet staff and cleanliness of the hotel superior would stay here again.

I arrived a few hours early expecting to store my luggage until my room was ready but they gave me a room right away. The room is huge. This hotel is in a great, central location. Everything is walkable. A couple of concerns I have are that the lobby smells like vanilla body lotion and they allow smoking on the rooftop terrace which prevented me from sitting out there. Other ppl might find this a perk. The hotel is non smoking but the person next to me was smoking out their window. Which, is another perk, the windows open!

It was across the street from a beautiful municipal park-safe to explore. The room was huge. It was two blocks from the place we needed to meet our bike trip leaders.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel and stayed here twice. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar where we were introduced to Peruvian pisco sours by the excellent waiter Daniel. The downtown Santiago area is becoming quite rundown so we are now tending to stay in the Providencia area. But this hotel is in a good location for walking to downtown tourist sites and there are several good restaurants nearby

The two days/nights we spent in the Hotel Sommelier were absolutely wonderful! The rooms were as nice as the photos. More importantly, the staff were terrifically competent and friendly. Carlos at reception was a welcoming smile. Andrea in the 1st floor restaurant was great. Karina upstairs in Terraza was such a treat! All were kind, professional and just delightful! And the older gentleman at the entrance was extremely helpful, especially as my wife is handicapped. It all added up to a splendid experience in Santiago!

A small boutique hotel with an excellent location. You are only two blocks from Plaza de Armas with the cathedral and national history museum. The other direction you are across the street from the Castillo Hidalgo Park and just a few blocks from a street of artists and many restaurants. The free continental breakfast each day was well prepared.

The room was well appointed. Marble stairs wth nice stained glass panels on each landing depicted the wine theme for each floor. The only complaint, and it is a BIG one, was the theoretical air conditioning that blew tepid air at best with temperatures close to 90 degrees each day.

There 3 issues with the stay. First, one of the outside shutters wouldn’t close, leaving the room lit by the nearby street lamp. Second the AC would not cool the room. Lastly on Sunday evening the main floor & roof top restaurants. Wee both closed, forcing guests to go elsewhere.

Our final few nights in amazing Santiago, the hotel was perfectly located. Easy walk, metro/underground to anywhere in town. I loved the look of the hotel, it’s Santiago! Staff are amazing, they work hard but are beautiful! FYI! My Spanish (being Irish) was Italian! Rooms are comfy, mine was balcony room! Food was great as was service, in all honesty, loved my stay, quirks are quirks, Hotel Sommelier was lovely!

The hotel is conveniently located for walking to restaurants and good coffee. The rooftop bar/restaurant has very good food and views also.

The beds were clean and very comfortable. Nice big showers.

The hotel was helpful in accommodating the purchase of extra time on account of a very late flight and in arranging transit to the airport.

I would not hesitate to stay again.
