This is a hotel with a very nice view but where the rooms and the amenities are very low quality. In our room, (deluxe sea view) there was nowhere other than a very small closet to hang clothing and no drawers. The robe and towels were very low quality. The hotel room did not have an espresso maker and did not have any snacks or beverages to purchase. The bistro restaurant was average quality with extravagant pricing. There was a hair in our omelette and they did not offer to pay for it or any portion of our meal.
The pool had extremely uncomfortable chairs that had holes in them and only 2-4 chaises with shade. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and were a positive aspect. For the amount of money we paid it felt more like a 3 star motel with 5 star prices. Overall 6.5/10

Dinner parfait, de mieux en mieux, année après année. Maitre d’hôtel, pro et agréable, bref, classe mondiale. Chambre est ok, un peu bruyante le matin, due aux travaux… sinon, rien à dire. Superbe!

******Le Petit Nice Passedat

Le Petit Nice Passedat is an absolute treasure of a hotel. Greeted with kindness, very helpful, the cleaning staff attentive and our rooms were always clean and well maintained. The dining options are exquisite as Chef's Passedat's 3 Michelin Star restaurant is on site. The view from our rooms and hotel were that of the Marseille's beautiful Mediterranean and its people. Definitely recommend as a one-and-only. We will return.

a nice stay overall

It is a nice hotel, though there are lacking a few things: one gym/space where one can work out and a place where you can just chill when it is rainy outside.
I think the hotel relies too much on their 3 star michelin restaurant and not on the hotel.
With a baby was a little boring during the rainy days. But the Staff was great and the room really clean. The view amazing.

A very specialized hotel experience

To be fair we only spent a quick night. You obviously would chose this hotel for the view as it is RIGHT on the water or the restaurant that we did not eat in. But the hotel is hard to find and uncomfortable to get to if you are driving yourself. It is down a very narrow walled street leading to a motorized gate. Once you get there there is a small parking lot. The hotel itself has a small lobby and bar. The staff was friendly. The rooms were stark and modern. Mine had a quirky set up making it not particularly comfortable. The view was, however, was very beautiful. There was a small pool too that was right on the water. If you are looking to see Marseille you might stay in a more centralized area.

Great location, great service. I paid almost 500 for a room in a first floor without a sea view. It is too much. The pillows had a funny smell and the comfort of the bed was ok. The staff was great, they brought my bags to the room and parked my car, very attentive. They recommended good places to go around.

If you're passing through Marseille, I don't think you can find a hotel with a more breathtaking view than Le Petit Nice. Extra bonus points: the craggy little beach (named Le Petit Nice) is a perfect pre-dinner spot for a swim. Counting down the days until my return...

Beautiful spot, amazing 3-star Michelin chef

Outstanding Relais & Chateaux hotel with something like 16-rooms, mix the comfort and service of the brand, with the coziness of a well-known institution in Marseille.
Service and attention to its finest levels, from the free valet parking to the reception to everyone you will see at the hotel; spacious rooms with great amenities & an amazing view.
Only area of improvement: the breakfast was good, but would have expected better from a Michelin-starred chef.

Unique location and guest rooms

Exclusive hotel with artistic amenities for the discriminating Travellers. Do not drive your fancy car to the hotel entrance, rather ask for their driver to navigate through the alley. Good breakfast. The only problem is a resident roaming bulldog that may make some guests uncomfortable. Interesting hotel. With only a 17 rooms the guests get a lot of attention

Outside food charge.

This hotel is beautiful and our stay was fantastic with the exception of the fact that there is an \"outside food\" charge that we were not told about (by Expedia or at check in) so when we brought in a pizza we were told we would be charged ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY EUROS ($75/euros each) should we choose to eat it on their property. This is done no doubt to \"discourage\" guests from doing this very thing given that it is associated with its fsnous restaurant, however I was unaware of it or the charge when I booked. We took the pizza and walked out onto the street where we could have sat and ate it however the very road leading up to the property is a narrow one that can hardly fit cars so there was no where to sit (and I was totally unprepared - no knife, napkins, drinks etc) so I decided to take my daughter and our pizza back to our room to pack and enjoy the most expensive pizza on the planet given that we had to be up at 3am to catch our flight. I've asked the hotel to kindly reconsider given that had we known of the policy we would have happily eaten the pizza across town where we purchased it. My fingers are crossed that they will refund the charge and I am hopeful they reconsider.

The hotel is on a spectacular piece of property. Would have given it the highest rating, but we dined in the dining room and ordered a bottle of wine from room service first. Shame on us for not asking pricing; had just left Monaco where prices for Rosé Provence's we $40; le petit nice charged us $120. Dinner for 2 with wine was $520 euro; outstanding but we flat out go HIT OVER THE HEAD...WAY, WAY, WAY TOO EXPENSIVE

This place is a true gem! The attention to detail and incredible staff made our stay BEYOND expectation! The views are incredible, rooms are spacious and mix old and new design beautifully. The staff knew us by name, and made sure we felt at home! Can't say enough about this place! We barely explored Marseille because we were so in love with the place!

Nice Hotel, Superb Restaurant

We chose this hotel because of its location by the sea and the reputation of its restaurant. Our suite-like room was very comfortable, super clean and quiet. The bathroom, though roomy, was awkwardly designed and the AC had trouble keeping temperature at 21 degrees C. The Restaurant was however the highlight of our stay and deserves all the accolades it has received. The one celebratory meal we had there with friends was a great experience and the multi-course seafood menu was truly exquisite.

We arrived afternoon, and asked to have dinner at the terrase but refused to get food there, the menu was basic, and the the course were disappoint.
The view is grate and it built high expectation, but we were left with bad taste in the end of our visit

Spectacular views, excellent service and food!

The alley entrance to the parking lot is tight, but the view you have upon entry is incredible. The staff is very friendly and personally attentive. The bathrooms were very clean and bright, and I spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the Chateaux D'If and Mediterranean Ocean. The patio, restaurant, and bar area also provide incredible views. The food is succulent and there are windows to the kitchen from both the lobby and the walkway. Overall a truly enjoyable experience. The wi-fi can be spotty, but you forget quickly. Beautiful hotel.

A Slice of heaven on Earth!

I travel constantly so I know a good hotel when I stay in one, and this place is better than good, it was perfection! Situated right on the Mediterranean, the hotel has the most comfortable rooms ever, massive bath tubs, the bed--divine and the restaurant was off the charts delicious.

I loved it and cannot wait for my return.

The Hotel is very nice. A little nerve racking if you drive there. It is two blocks of the main road, but the road is tiny. We had a sea view balcony and it was beatiful and spacious.

Safe key did not work so no safe available.
Room key did not work, had to go back for the other key twice…
Non-soundproof room. You could hear everything from the corridor and the other rooms.
Smell of cigarette in the room coming through the ventilation.
Terrace was nice with a sea view.
We rearranged our dinnerplans because of the poor level of service.
Not a 5* hotel.
Also skipped the breakfast for three days because of the rude service the first morning.

Ich würde Ihnen gerne auf diesem Weg mein Feedback zu meiner Reise geben, nachdem ich bereits mit Ihrem Kollegen telefonisch während meiner Reise in Marseille gesprochen habe.
Wir hatten das 5 Sterne Hotel in Marseille „La Petite Nice Passedat“ für 4Nächte gebucht.
Leider war unser Aufenthalt nicht wie erwartet.

Das Hotel hatte mir vorab eine E-Mail
mit einem Formular geschickt in dem ich auf besondere Wünsche Hinweisen durfte.
Dem Hinweis, nach einer zweiten Bettdecke ist das Hotel nicht nachgekommen.
Daraufhin habe ich nach Ankunft im Hotel gefragt ob ich eine zweite Bettdecke haben könnten.
Nach einem Spaziergang lag auf dem Bett eine zweite Bettdecke aber leider ohne Bettbezug.
Daraufhin habe ich wieder angerufen und gefragt ob ich einen Bettbezug haben könnte.
Dieser kam und ich durfte diesen selbst anbringen.
Etwas schwierig, da der Bettbezug aus 2 Bettlaken besteht. Dementsprechend habe ich sehr schlecht geschlafen, da in der Nacht alles durcheinander geraten ist.
Am nächsten Tag wollten wir uns die Haare fönen. Hier ging der vom Hotel installierte Fön im Badezimmer nicht. Hier habe ich erneut bei der Rezeption angerufen und gefragt ob wir einen neuen Fön bekommen könnten. Die Dame kam und brachte mir einen einen Fön der aber auch nicht funktioniert hat. Daraufhin habe ich wieder angerufen um dem Hotel das mitzuteilen. Daraufhin kam jemand und wir mussten feststellen das die Steckdose beschädigt ist. Das hatte zur Folge, dass wir eine andere Stec
