The heat was on full blast, no option to turn off or switch to air. Staff told us to open our sliding door but there was no screen. Room walls are super thin, the room next to us a room full of drunk girls returning from a concert, we could hear the crying, puking and falling all over the place while my daughters tried to sleep.

Hotel was clean, but outside of the parking garage there was garbage and a pool of blood that we had to walk over as it was on the steps to the door.

Will not stay again.

Zero Issues with the hotel great location clean room and friendly staff. Was a we bit freaked out when i went to leave after check out and did not realize the parking had two floors and for a few minutes thought my car was towed or stolen. Then remember when we left the parking garage from arriving we went down a flight of stairs. Nice clean city as well and it has been a long time since I have been in a city with such little amount of addiction. Kitchener job well done!

Clean room but power kept tripping when i just use 2 appliances. Seems like they know the problem but its annoying cause i have to walk down to reception as the phone wont work when it trips. Shower no door and small in my double queen room. Splashes out. Small swimming pool but heated and nice. Good location. 12 bucks parking unlimited entry and exit.

We ate breakfast 2 morning at the hotel. Both times all 4 of us opted for the buffet. Very fresh and so much selection hot and cold. Even a Crepe bar! Very good value at 20.00 each! Staff very attentive and smiling!

We stayed for 2 days family of 4, light in a bathroom didn’t work and we asked the receptionist to fix it-ignored, housekeeper always prepared towels for 2, kept asking for additional 2. Food in a restaurant -horrible, buns are hard like were baked a week ago, broccoli soup we couldn’t even eat, tested disgusting, teriyaki rice with shrimps and salmon also overpriced and not tasty, better to order somewhere else.

I loved the location. Lots of places to eat with different choices and just a block from the museum. The customer service was amazing. Very accommodating. Provided a nice crib. (I called ahead to reserve) as well as an earlier check in ad my daughter needed her nap. Always available. If I was rating the hotel just on that plus the amenities it be 5 starts. It need more maintenance to the building. And better overall cleaning to the hall ways and carpets. (Some TlC) the basement has a gym, bowling alley and mini golf. Along with a lot of space for kids to be kids. The pool had two separate areas shallow 3.75 ft and deep end. Loved our stay.

Breakfast was poor, some scrambled eggs, bacon and cakes that were lousy or a day old. The elevators are old and noisy. One morning I left a piece of toilet paper in the toilet and when I come back in the afternoon was still there, the toilet wasn't even flushed.
I move around with a mobility scooter but the property does not have ramps, so if you have limited mobility stay away from this hotel.

My third time staying at Crowne Plaza Kitchener. The staff is exceptional! They even remembered me! Always extremely professional, kind, accommodating, and patient. My upgraded room was so comfortable and clean. Aqua, the restaurant, is delicious and the wait staff is wonderful. I also used the fitness centre this visit. Was surprised at how many options for working out are available. An exercise room, pool, bowling alley, putt putt golf!
I will be staying there again soon!

Paper thin walls. Shower did not drain at all. They put us in the middle of a huge group of competitive dance families who arrived at 11:30PM and made crazy noise until 2AM. Could hear them through the wall like they were in the same room.

Parking is in a separate building. You have to walk like 200m around on your own floor to get to the elevator and then 200m again to get to the parking.

Our room was clean and ready at check in, the breakfast was excellent. The lady that checked us in was very friendly, informative and genuinely kind. Our shower door was missing a seal so we needed up with water all over the floor. The pressure was strong in fact it popped the cover off the hand held. The pool was clean and towels were available. It was quite dark as they only had the wall sconces on at night and I feel it did not provide enough light for the swimming area where mostly children were swimming with parents sitting around the pool. I would book this hotel again

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly when we checked in. The thermostat in our room did not work, our room was very hot and uncomfortable to try to sleep in (we checked in late). We were given a little table fan. When the staff member came to give us the fan he realized our room was very hot. Eventually we were given a new room. We were given a cart for our things and asked to hand over our keys and told if we forgot anything we wouldn't be able to come back and grab them. My husband and I had two sleeping children to load up, along with two older children and all our belongings. The staff member did not offer to help push the luggage cart, he did not hold open doors for us. He just continuously asked for our room keys back.

You are also only given two breakfast vouchers and the rest of your party is charged $20 for their breakfast.

The pool was crowded, a lot of kids and teens running around. VERY loud people who were 19/20 yr olds that stayed the weekend and were very vulgar and yelling racist slurs, slamming doors etc. I do not blame management for their behavior but staff did very little to help or take care of it other than to say, sorry to us when we complained and asked them to please do something. We did not feel safe nor taken seriously as they basically got away with it and unfortunately bothered the respectful customers. Truly sad.
The bowling downstairs was not maintained and closed, the arcade & mini golf was alao not maintained either. The parking area is not the best and very small.
I expected more from a higher priced hotel.

Pros: The overall hotel (lobby, hallways etc) as well as our room was very clean. (Except the two sets of windowa were very dirty with fingerprints all over them) The bed & bedding was very comfortable. An especially well run restaurant. We got the breakfast buffet with our stay. It was very good. Lots of hot and cold choices with a great variety, quality food and clean.

First and foremost the staff were lovely, but our trip started with the pole for parking going down on our car while we waited to get parked…
Next, the entry from the parking lot was not accessible, including the doors and the step to get in.

When you walk in the entrance at the main door, it is gorgeous, but it’s easy to tell that all the money was spent on the renovations of the main part. The hallways in the room were below average with stains on the carpet and on the duvet cover.

We were excited for the amenities that the hotel offered which included mini golf, the arcade, ping-pong, and bowling. However, we soon realized by talking to the front desk that everything was an additional cost, and the bowling and half the arcade were out of order.

We went to go swimming and there were public swimming lessons until 8 or 9 pm.

There was three of us staying in the room, which I booked via Expedia that said breakfast was provided. What it failed to say it was only breakfast for two was provided in the third one how to be paid for. Again not told on the website.

Going back to the pool the ground is coming up around. It definitely is safety hazard, and lots of the windows were boarded off.

Unfortunately, we were expecting more for a downtown hotel.

The parking was confusing. The access to the hotel lobby was confusing too. When I finally got in and checked in, I got to my room and was EXTREMELY disappointed by the condition/quality of my room compared to the photos advertised. I have many photos of the state of my room which was not properly cleaned and had lots of wear and tear. More than acceptable for one room. The pool was nice, but completely open to the lobby, so your conversations carry through the hotel. Room service prices and fees were insane. Ended up doing door dash instead. Breakfast was bland. The crepes were good though.

Nice big clean rooms. Excellent front desk staff - very helpful friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with loads of options (crepe station mashed potatoes home potatoes sausage bacon eggs parfaits fruit sandwiches beans smoothies donuts croissants...). We only received two passes so we had to pay for our third party (child) but it was under $20. Arrival andthe parking situation was a bit chaotic and confusing but seamless after a few initial hiccups. The area surrounding the hotel is sketchy (most of downtown kw is) so keep that in mind if you wanted to walk around. We stayed for a concert and the Center in the Square was less than a 5-minute drive away, super cheap Uber. Definitely recommend!!

We choose this hotel for it’s amenities which the bowling and arcade which is from third party there wasn’t any balls to play and half of the arcade game didn’t work. Staying with kids we thought this would be perfect but mot too much. After long day driving we went to get ice off second floor and machine didn’t work. Our room bathroom was not very clean. Towels were hard. Parking is so far away from access to the hotel which doesn’t say anywhere is description lots of going inside and out and stairs to reach reception desk. I wouldn’t book again

Pictures of amenities were probably taken 10 years ago. Everything was run down plus there was a charge for everything!
Arcade had 4 out of 12 games working. Bowling was not working. Layout to pool was a terrible ideas as you have to walk past 2 doors to the outside to get to the pool. We were freezing!

The toilet lever had to be lifted in order to have toilet stop running, fan wouldn’t turn on in room so was too warm, other guests allowed their kids to running wild throughout the 4th floor from 9-1015pm. Called front desk twice to get them to settle down. Then at 845am a guest allowed their toddler to yell “Momma” “Dadda” in the hallway until we checked out at 915. Overall wouldn’t choose to stay again unless guaranteed no sports teams staying on same floor! As a parent of a club swimmer for 10 years, the parents’ supervision of their athletes was subpar at best and the fact the hotel couldn’t quiet them down was disappointing.
