Great stay! Would recommend but note that there are several messages and forms you receive prior to check-in. When we got to the concierge desk to check-in, they asked for our room number, and I had no idea where to find it in amongst all the messages/documents. So, stay here but just know there will be a series of things to do in advance and it would be helpful to make a note of info from those documents to have easily on hand.

Got a notice in the morning that water will be shut off for maintenance from 8 am. So pretty much had to leave by 9 am - had to shuffle my schedule due to this inconvenience. Checking in required signing 3/4 forms. Too complicated for a regular check in. Will not be staying here again.

There are pre check in items to be completed online as there is no hotel front desk service. FOB has to be picked up at the front desk. Parking needs to be arranged in advance
Rooms are nice and comfortable, kitchenette and laundry machines available. Room was clean. I'm assuming that rooms are better in spring or summer. In December the room was cold. Floor was cold and the heat only adjustable to 70F. Lukewarm air was coming from the vent. Many floor to ceiling windows which contribute to the cold. I had to wear sweatshirt and sweatpants in bed. Otherwise the room is fine and kept in good condition, furniture is simple and modern. Ok for our one night stay.

Located near the Google office. Nit.much else around in terms of restaurants etc. Categorized as a two star on Expedia, should be a three star.

Loud and noisy, drafty. Floor was sticky upon arrival, balcony had a lovely view of the cash money. Staff was okay when you could find them. Key Fob didnt work most of the time and so had to wait for concierge to become available to get up to room. No amenities whatsoever, required a functional key fob. No hand soap was left. Bathroom sink was grimy. Will charge you a pet cleaning fee no matter how clean you leave the property. Its actually just a pet cleaning tax. Thoroughly unimpressed with this property. Unimpressed how I had to pay for parking, pay 100 dollars for a pet cleaning fee so that someone could pocket the money as the property was left in a very clean state. Unimpressed with my deposit being held hostage until the fee is paid.

I've stayed at the Laundry Rooms about 5 times in the past year and the rooms are great. The rooms are always clean, spacious and better equipped than most hotels. The balconies have some great views. The check in process is quick and easy. I also really appreciate that they're flexible and accommodating with early arrival times and later check outs when I requested them. This is my preferred place to stay in the KW area and I would highly recommend it, especially if you have a longer stay.

While the room was nice, and the price was competitive, I'd much rather have stayed in a hotel. Companies shouldn't be allowed to own condo buildings and rent them out as short term rentals. I would not live in a building where half the units were AirBnB-type rentals. This is gross and should be illegal.

There aren't any staff on site besides the single security guard at the front door. There should be staff on duty 24/7. There should be traditional staff on site to deal with, whether or not there are any issues.

Also, parking should be included in the cost of the room. There should not be an additional cost, nor should they be allowed to tell you \"you might get a parking spot.\" This wouldn't be a thing in a hotel.

Heating was broken, blowing on full blast. It was stuck on 27 degrees, even with the A/C on. We were greeted by building security upon arrival who quickly provided us a key and instructions. Fob was convenient and building was safe and secure, however it is located in a noisy area along a busy road (all hours of the night). unfortunately, We had to leave the patio door open due to the broken heating.

Stayed 3 nights for business in the area. This is a new condo rental with very clean modern unit, and firm comfy beds and very clean sheets and towels. You have full kitchen to use, and condo amenities. I feel safe staying here with easy access into building once you registered using all the links they sent. I got free parking cos of Expedia vip access. This is second time staying already and it’s quiet and safe just like any other residential condos.

We got room 609 which was beautiful as it was a corner room, and we got amazing views of the city; especially when sunset comes around. The place is clean, new, and relatively well maintained. Staff is very friendly. My only suggestion is to have a different system where guests don't have to continuously ask for refills of items (i.e. soap, towels, dishsoap, trash bags) especially given most people will stay here for longer term

What I did not like was: I’m a senior who doesn’t travel much anymore. Having to communicate digitally is difficult. I’m used to dealing with a live person. I found instructions hard to follow re: parking. I just felt the personal service was lacking!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Laundry Rooms Kitchener. The 2 bedroom apartment worked well for our stay with small children and having a kitchen and laundry in the unit was great. It is a new condo building, so there were some hiccups - random fire alarms (including one at 3 am) and ongoing construction in the parking garage and next door. But we would return and would recommend to others.

Disappointing.

The AC was locked and couldn’t be turned down without receiving a video, the kitchen table and chairs are wobbly, the water pressure in the shower was pretty bad, there is no luggage cart which is no big deal unless you have a lot to cart to the 19th floor. There is a parking fee, cleaning fee, and pet fee which total as much as the one night stay. Just really was not impressive and wouldn’t stay again.

This was a really great, clean apartment with great access to everything we needed to get to. Super simple to check in and check out, and had most of what we needed. Kitchen was a bit sparse and would have benefitted from tea towels in the kitchen, but otherwise exactly what we needed for a few days in town.

What a great spot - cute spaces, comfortable bed & pillows, very clean and convenient to the train and public transit. Perfect if doing business in KitchenerWaterloo. Only drawback is that is not close by to walk to dining or groceries.

First room we were put into was extremely hot and the bathroom lighting didn’t work. We were moved to another room which was equally as hot. Parking is VERY expensive ($45 for less than 24 hours). Beautiful space, but for the price ($200/night), you should expect functioning AC and free, if not significantly cheaper, parking (even the $20 parking they offer is pricey in the grand scheme of things and compared to other parking in the area).

Great to place to stay close to downtown and the train station. Full apartment with everything you need, including washer dryer, iron, vacuum, dish soap and sponge, laundry detergent, wifi, dishes and cutlery, pots and utensils. Short walk to the Ion light rail and shops and restaurants. I stayed two nights but can imagine enjoying a longer stay here. The concierge staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The Laundry Rooms was a great place to stay! The room (apartment), was spacious and clean, and super comfortable. The staff are incredibly accommodating and are ready and willing to help with any questions or requests. And the price was incredible (you get an ENTIRE APARTMENT!)

The managers of this property are unaccommodating to say the least. In all honesty they are completely ineffective, and it feels maliciously so. They kept about half of my safety deposit because of some hidden charge that they did not make clear to me until my stay was over. No one was picking up the phone for any of my 13 attempts of getting in contact. overall very unprofessional and slimy.

The space itself was nicely decorated and good kitchen and bathroom. We arrived on a cold night, it was -10 to find that a window in the bedroom had been left open so the apartment was quite cold. It took about 2 hours for the living space to warm up properly, my husband and I huddled under a blanket while waiting on the couch. When we got up in the morning to shower there was little hot water, so I didn't bother showering. When I addressed these issues with management, it was just brushed off as a \"power surge\" convenient for them, inconvenient for those paying for a stay.
