The Sage Room was a very comfortable and clean room. The electric fireplace was cozy, and we appreciated the TV had access to all the streaming services. The breakfast was a delicious open-faced breakfast sandwich with a toasted croissant, crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato with a fried egg and hollandaise sauce. The homemade strawberry compote on top of plain yogurt was a delicious finish. The coffee was good, but it would have been better if it was hotter.

We paid for the executive suite which ended up having a hole in the roof so we were given a much lesser room and NO refund for the difference. I was shocked at the property after ready the reviews of 10/10 and I wouldn’t have given this place a 4/10. rotting pumpkins on the front porch, junk all over the yard, weeds growing over abandoned cars in the parking lot and a breakfast that was tasteless and chintzy, even greasy dirty fingerprints on the sugar bowls.

It's a really cool old building that has modern upgrades in the rooms. The room was comfortable and the best part about the stay was the delicious breakfast! The breakfast served was better than most breakfast places I've gone to.

My husband and I stayed here together with two other couples as we were visiting Elora (about 20 minutes away) for an autumn weekend. We had a wonderful night's sleep in the Rose Room thanks to the quiet surroundings and soft bedding. The gas fireplace added a cozy touch. Our breakfast sandwich and yogurt with strawberries was the perfect amount to get us back on the road. Excellent French press coffee too! And...we loved playing with Chester the dog too!

Worth a Visit
Kimmie is the owner. She has worked hard to maintain the B and B keeping the place neat and comfortable the rooms clean the setting pleasant. As mentioned by the other reviewers the breakfast is awesome. This is almost a 200-year-old house predating the country of Canada. We came to enjoy the venue and we're not surprised. Give me is working to improve the house and my suspicion is over time it'll be even more impressive

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maryhill Inn. The rooms are well appointed and the beds are very comfy. We wished we could have stayed longer to make use of the in-room bathtub or outdoor hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed being greeted by charming Chester the dog. The hosts were lovely and we enjoyed chatting with them. We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Maryhill Inn. My husband and I absolutely loved it. We booked the cottage room which was cosy and beautifully decorated. But the best part of our stay was our Hostess Kimmie, James and Chester. From the moment you stepped threw the front door we were made to feel right at home. Kimmie is naturally warm hostess who wants to ensure her guests are comfortable. Her breakfasts are out of this world and are accompanied with freshly pressed coffee so you start you day off in the best pissible way! I would recommend staying at the Maryhill Inn to anyone and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Maryhill Inn is a fine old inn set amid the St Jacobs countryside. Privacy and easy access, pretty rooms, off-street parking -- and Kimmie's wonderful breakfasts -- all made my stay (there for a family event) as comfortable as possible. (What's more, the market across the road sold excellent ice cream.)

This was the first time I brought my dog to a resort it was very accommodating, I am glad to see more places being pet friendly. The outside was great they had a big sitting area and hot tub. The rooms were clean and the perfect size. The breakfast they served was so good with the right portions.The hosts were great and insightful on places to go in the area if you are wanting to do something else while you are there. We visited Cox winery which is close and had a great time. I would strongly recommend Mary Hill Inn, if you are need somewhere to stay. Thanks

Everything about our stay was exceptional. The Inn itself is full of charm with it's old style exterior and modern rooms. The hosts were very pleasant and friendly (especially Chester, their mascot). We had an amazing sleep because the comfy bed and cool room temperature were a perfect combination for inducing a restful sleep. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very quiet. Until breakfast we thought we were the only guests there! Speaking of breakfast, we had french toast with a strawberry maple compote with bacon. I'd come back just for the breakfast alone! This was the perfect stay for our weekend adventure in Elora. Highly recommended!

Cute house from 1800s. It is in nice shape and has interesting style features. We seemed to have had a mixup on rooms (reserved Sage Room and host thought we had Rose Room, but needed to gave us Blue Room since Rose Room had an issue). I didn’t push it. The Blue room was nice, just not the room I chose. The Blue room has slanted ceilings etc and the shower was really small. It does have a nice soaker tub but too much furniture (2 chairs and table in short part of room) to our liking. The breakfast was very good and Kim was very nice and was helpful. The town is quiet and a very nice contrast to Toronto, etc.

Our stay at Maryhill was wonderful. We were greeted by our host and his sidekick Chester. We were shown around, and then to our room. We stayed in the Cottage Room. It was extremely clean and cozy. We enjoyed some Netflix with warm cozy blankets to finish off our evening. In the mornings we woke to the smell of bacon. Our hostess prepared us a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry french toast, with amazing french press coffee. The Inn was a perfect place to relax and cuddle. Our hosts were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We plan to visit again bext time we are in the area.

This was our first stay at the Inn. Checkin wasn’t smooth as we arrived. Went to front door of inn and knocked and waited. Finally a small white dog appeared at the window so we waited some more. It was cold and wasn’t intuitive that we were at the correct entrance. Our room was fine but extremely warm - stuffy. No convenient areas to plug in devices for charging, no bedside lamps to read from or turn on/off from the bed, bathroom was old and towel bars,toilet tissue holder, shower rod, were all loose and unsteady.
