Overall, a good stay. We were only there 2 nights and spend most of the time out, but the room itself was nice and clean. Having the kitchen area was great because we were coming from an air b&b and had extra groceries left over. The room bathroom did have a slight sewer-ish smell to it. We noticed when we first got in the room but didn’t smell it the next morning so we didn’t say anything. Then it was back. Not strong, but noticeable. The breakfast was not the best. Only hot options were egg, French toast, and turkey sausage, none of which were great or even very hot. The fruit was fresh and pastries were OK. Staff was very friendly and the valet was efficient. We took advantage of the shuttle service which was nice. We wanted to enjoy the outdoor pool but it was closed (seasonal?)

There were a lot of pros about this hotel but two HUGE cons that ended up costing us more money, hence the negative review. I also want to note that I worked at a hotel in a major city for ten years as a front desk agent. I know how challenging that job is and frankly, how much it can absolutely suck, ESPECIALLY when you don't have proper management support, which I have a feeling is what's happening here and I will be sending an email to the GMs about one employee's behavior in particular because it was so uncalled for, yet I think speaks to a much bigger issue with how managers are treating their staff.

The biggest issue is that this hotel states that their rooms have sofa beds and therefore can sleep 4+ guests. I booked one room for me, my mom, and my sister. I took the sofa bed and can tell you firsthand, that sofa bed is NOT something ANYONE should ever have to sleep on. They are worn down to the point that you can feel every single spring and the hard support bar going down the middle of the frame. By night two of our stay I was on no sleep and losing my mind. We asked to be moved to a room with two beds, but the hotel couldn't accommodate that, so we ended up having to book an additional room. The fact that the hotel markets their sofa beds as being something people can sleep on is criminal. Do not book a room thinking that is an option. It isn't.

Great staff, clean room, gorgeous hotel. Shuttle takes a while so plan well in advance. Fire alarm went off bc the bar tender burned something. Parking is $40+tip per day, so realistically add $50 to the cost of the room per night. Overall, if money isn’t an issue, this hotel is great!

It was truly a pleasure to stay at the Element Nashville Vanderbilt West End for 2 nights to celebrate New Years 2026 and we look forward to staying there on our next visit to Nashville. The building is new and beautifully furnished and decorated with plenty of windows to let in the natural light. Our accommodations were spacious and functional - the kitchen was a great bonus. We also discovered that the outdoor pool is heated so that guests may swim year-round. Service was a step above the rest with free breakfast and special complimentary treats like hot chocolate in the evening and a happy hour at 5 pm, plus - our favorite service - the free shuttle to downtown driven by the super nice maintenance man who dropped us off right by the Ryman Auditorium! Front desk staff was always polite and took time to thoroughly answer our questions. The hotel is located in an interesting new community named oneC1TY, which is a cool urban concept that looks like it would be pretty vibrant in the warmer months. The only downside is that there are no supermarkets or even little tiendas within walking distance, which hopefully will change as the area continues to develop.

Courteous staff. Room was very clean. No mold anywhere in the shower. Clean, modern styling. Very comfortable bed. Window covering actually fit in a track, so it drastically reduces exterior lights.
I am EXTREMELY angry about the fact that I was not told until the day AFTER it was too late to change my reservation that the parking was either valet or a very long walk. The hotel said it would cost $38 per night for valet, but I was charged $40 per night plus tax. So it cost me an extra $139 above the hotel room!!!!! Then, breakfast is 6:30 on the week days but 7:00 on the weekends. So breakfast started too late for my leave time of 7:15.
While the hotel itself was very nice, due to the parking issues I would not stay there again.

Room and service was good. Issue is valet forgot to validate my parking on 2 nights which caused to metropolis app to charge me and now since the stay is over they can’t take a validation. So remove any credit cards you have on file with metropolis if using valet.

The heat went out in our room. It blew only cold air. Our room was 56 degrees all night. Maintenance was very kind and fixed it in the morning. However, there was no adjustment on the bill or compensation for the major inconvenience, and management never reached out like staff said they would.

I did notice that the water pressure at the sinks was a bit low, though the shower pressure was great, and drainage was slightly slow. That said, it wasn’t an issue for me at all. I was booked the wrong room then when transferred to the right too there were no linens for the couch. Also having one hook to hang wet towels was a bit inconvenient. No plates available at breakfast & staff was not that pleasant in the dining area. Most friendly was the bartender Lowell. Food should be more available besides just a very early breakfast.

The rooms were to a high standard

They have a free shuttle bus, that drops you within a few miles of the hotel.

The parking is the issue, as there is nowhere to park other than using the valet. Which isn’t cheap, it works out approx $42 a day with taxes and fees. So make sure you factor this in.

Apart from that a wonderful hotel and location away from the bustle and noise of Downtown Nashville

I am typically try to stay at Marriott locations. However this one was not my best choice. Breakfast had limited options to select from. Our TVs didn’t get service the entire second day we were there. Every time either of us took a shower the water pressure would drop to virtually nothing for a few minutes during the shower. When we spoke to the hotel staff about any of our concerns they didn’t seem to care at all since we purchased our stay through Expedia. We ended up leaving a day early- no refund or anything offered. When we left early, they told us to check out we would have to call the hotel back the next day as they couldn’t help us since we didn’t book through them directly. Not a good experience. Would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, but they are not transparent with their information. You’re practically forced to use the valet parking service, which costs $38 per day, while the self-parking option is $48 per day.

They advertise a parking assistance service, but the staff never answer the phone, and emails take around four days to get a reply, usually just to say they can’t help.

Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.
