This had to be one of the most pleasurable experiences I had in a really long time. We had a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen and living room which was very convenient. The only negative thing I can say is that someone forgot to take the trash out of underneath the sink but as soon as I brought it to their attention, it was rectified.

It was close enough to everything and far enough to enjoy some wonderful sleep.

A washer and dryer in the room alleviate the need for packing so much clothes.

Having food and laundry soap in the lobby was also an added bonus.

The Motif is a beautiful spacious property and was perfect for our first time Nashville vacation. Couldn’t be more comfortable in our two bedroom balcony suite. Only drawback is housekeeping needs to be better. We stayed there 8 nights and housekeeping came only twice. The first time was a freshen up requested by us on the 3rd day. Replenished towels and emptied trash. Then came again 1-2 days later but again just towels, beds made, and trash. No vacuuming or kitchen cleaning. That means 8 nights with dirty floors. Other than this we enjoyed our stay and it felt like home. Thank you to all.

Everything was incredibly nice and clean. It was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had! Only downside was no normal size trash can nor obvious ones excluding the bathroom trash. The only complaint I have was the outlet in the bathroom did not work. Probably the most likely to be used outlet so that was inconvenient. But everything else was amazing!

It’s several (read SEVERAL!) steps to the front entrance, quite a ways to carry your bags. Thank goodness for the luggage carts.


The floor layout was very confusing, stepping off the elevator on the second floor the signs literally only direct you to 3 room numbers-209, 222, and 223, none of which were mine. Felt like I was in a maze in the hallways.

The showers were a little smallish but they could really use a shelf of some sort or at least a soap tray. Not everyone wants to use the toiletries provided. A little more counter space in the bathroom would have been nice too.

There is no onsite public parking, the only option is valet. Just be prepared to spend a decent chunk for that if your stay is longer than a night or two.

Overall, our stay was good. The hotel was very clean and the staff all very friendly. Especially the valet guys I had interactions with, they were both extremely professional, very helpful, and very well spoken. It’s was cool seeing the artists progress on the mural behind the counter during our couple days there as well. It was also very nice and calm in the area.

The pool area was great, the coffee bar and barista were great, our rooms were great, the shuttle was great but the lady at the front desk during the day may have been the most rude and unfriendly person I’ve ever met. She was just awful and completely unaccommodating and just RUDE!

Nice space with some issues. Paper thin walls and ceiling. Heard the people above walking all night it seemed. Baby cried next door like it was in the room. But the room was nice and spacious, pretty new. The plumbing leaked unless you found the one spot that could stop the drips. All in all, would probably chance it again for the price and the space.

Bed was stiff as a rock. Room was still dirty from prior people. Floor was dirty as if it had never been mopped or swept and found pills under the bed. The shower head could use a scrub or else it will continue to mold.

The room/living area/bathroom were all clean. The bed was hard and felt smaller than a queen to me. I hardly slept at all because I could here a person upstairs that was walking back and forth more than an hour in the middle of the night and than banging her door open/closed. Floor/walls are very thin! I could could practically hear her conversation! I was also disappointed that I had to pay $60 dollars to park my car. I won't be back.

The overall stay was pleasant. Staff was undoubtedly very friendly and helpful. The unit condition was good but had room for improvement. Nothing outrageous just tightening or fastening of fixtures such as the kitchen faucet, bathroom towel holder and toilet paper holder. Very clean and would surely recommend. Only thing else I would add is to utilize the valet parking if you can because our truck was broken into the first night and it was on the side of the hotel, in a well lit area. That’s not the hotels fault but just a word of advice just in case.

We enjoyed the kitchen and the ability to make our own food while staying which was made easier being a couple blocks from the Turnip Truck. The pool was a nice surprise and we had fun playing ping pong. Unfortunately the free shuttle wasn't timely so we Ubered to Broadway. The bed was also a bit uncomfortable but we like a stiffer mattress. Overall, it was a nice option for NYE.
