This was a great find! Clean, cute, and comfortable room, and the hosts thought of everything in regards to the kitchenette! We had the King Suite, which was the perfect size for two of us. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was great, and the hosts were very welcoming.
There are a million dining options close by, and we chose to Uber or drive (5 minutes) versus walking (15 - 20 minutes). The neighborhood was very quiet and it was easy to find parking. We definitely look forward to returning!

we had a very enjoyable 3 day visit at Sweet Dreams. it is located in a Sherman Oaks , a very nice upper middle class residential area of LA---and it felt like we were a full time resident there. the room was very comfortable--well stocked with everything you might need, there is a lovely back yard with a pool and hot tub. the hosts were very accommodating!

Sweet Dreams is not your typical B&B. It's like visiting friendly relatives. That's not to everyone's taste, but we enjoyed it very much as the owners are exceptionally warm and helpful. It's not luxurious but quite comfortable. Plus the location a couple of minutes from the 405/101 junction in a quiet neighborhood walk-able to Ventura Boulevard restaurants is exceptional. Highly recommended.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt very welcomed to homey Sweet Dreams B&B. Our cozy room and bath were thoughtfully appointed with sitting area, toiletries, hot beverage selections, mini-fridge and microwave. Free parking was a plus. As we were heading north early in the morning, it was a perfect spot to avoid morning rush hour en route to 101 and the Pacific Coast Highway.

We left an expensive razor and initially wrote it off as never seeing that again, but Amy found it and asked for my address so she could return it. I was asked to pay 38 dollars at end of my visit and no i left the room pretty darn clean no where on hotels .com wawas there a mention of this fee i hate surprises and not bbeing informed of extra fees this all should of been takin g care of when i paid for the visit.. The breakfast was good though but would not stay there again i thought that ffee was dishonest and wrong we stayed 4 days and. Never got clean towls or sheets

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast! The house is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the back yard is serene. And best of all, Amy and Shay are overflowing with hospitality!
(Though it might look far away from things on a map, we found it pretty easy and quick to get everywhere we wanted to go--15 minutes to the Getty, 25 minutes to UCLA and to Santa Monica, etc. You have the choice of taking the 405, or taking the scenic route, going up and over the mountains.)

FABULOUS, QUIET, CLEAN AND HOSPITABLE!
We had a fabulous stay! Amy and her husband are very hospitable and made us feel SO welcome! Even Rootbeer, their puppy, greeted us! We enjoyed morning conversations over fantastic homemade breakfasts. Our two adjoining rooms with separate baths created the perfect haven for us and our visiting daughter and grandsons. Everything was clean, new, and comfortable. It was quiet at night. We would highly recommend this place to stay!

In all of my travels and BnB stays, this is one of my favorite places. If I'm ever in the L.A. area again, I will definitely stay here and I highly recommend it. Amy and Shay have created a welcoming environment for guests. We felt right at home as soon as we entered. Breakfasts were outstanding. We were able to talk with Amy and Shay and other guests while we dined. Amy and Shay are long-term residents and have a lot of knowledge and experience that they are more than willing to share. Believe the hype. This place is immaculate. Amy and Shay are mega friendly. The breakfast was outstanding -- far beyond coffee and a pastry. I came into town as an exhibitor at a comic con, and they loaned me a cart which was a big help. Parking on the street is a breeze. We normally stay in hotels, but decided to try Sweet Dreams B&B for our stay in north LA. The owners Amy and Shay made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. There is a warm pool and sunloungers in the garden. The beds were very comfortable and the room had all the amenities you get at major hotel chains. There were several choices for breakfast including both hot and cold items. It is situated close to major freeways and there are several restaurants located close by. I would definitely recommend others to try this property.

I am well travelled, and there aren't many places to which I would return. I would make a special trip to Sherman Oaks just to stay at the home of these owners of Sweet Dreams. It is quiet, collegial, and attention is paid in just the right amount for the comfort of guests. I plan to stay here again as it was a peaceful place from which to launch to all things LA with good food and exceptional hospitality!

The room was really nice, the pillows were excellent. It was quiet area generally, but the walls were paper thin. I could hear every breath and word of the people next store. They quieted down by 10pm generally, but I suggest you pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper/have jet lag so fall asleep earlier. Otherwise, it was a great stay. This was our 1st time staying at a B&B and I can say that I made a good decision choosing to stay here over a hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights on June 25th. The place has easy access to Fwy 101 and only 15-20mins away from Universal Studios, which is the main reason why I chose this place, to avoid downtown LA traffic.
As for the place, the house is beautiful, clean, and the room that we stayed in (on the 1st floor) has it's own microwave, mini fridge, kettle, bathroom with jacuzzi tub, wifi and cable. I liked the welcome folder they left in our room that has brochures to different restaurants, spa/salons, and maps to take with you. The backyard is gorgeous, with swimming pool and a jacuzzi. My son enjoyed the pool so much that he had to swim one more time before we checked out! The owners were very nice and accommodating. They served us delicious breakfasts everyday!

My stay was like coming home
As soon as I passed through the front gate I felt relief and calm. I am a country girl so the city puts me on hyper alert. From my first handshake with the proprietors I was at ease. My stay was comfortable. I was so content I did not want to leave the property. My room was lovely and I had the smallest one. The breakfast was a beautiful presentation. The Sweet Dreams attracts the nicest people. I dined with wonderful humans including our host. We shared, we laughed, I felt I had made friends. I will always try to book the Sweet Dreams when in LA.

Really great stay for a reasonable price
I really enjoyed my stay at Sweet Dreams BnB. The owners were fantastic and really nice! The parking was a bit rough for the time we came in, but overall, I had a great stay. The BnB was central to many of the studios and other area attractions that we had intended to see. So it made things really convenient.
