The room was very unclean and the nights was so nosey don't let me sleep very well during my stay and something they are bitten me very badly, now for a fewdays my all body is very itching.

The room is satisfactory in terms of cleaning. was but carpet is smelly. Staff are very friendly. Also, I stayed at this hotel many times before. I noticed that the shampoo, conditioner and body soap are totally empty - nobody seems to be refilling the bottles. This has happened on three occasions now. I’ve had to shower with no soap which was terrible.

Unpleasant Stay – Foul Odour & Faulty A/C
My recent stay was disappointing. The room had a strong, unpleasant odour upon arrival, which made it uncomfortable to relax. Additionally, the air conditioning was not working properly and seemed to be producing heat instead of cooling. As a result, I was freezing throughout my stay and could not rest comfortably. This experience fell short of expectations.

The hotel bar and pokies area are quite good, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for accommodation.
The bathrooms are shared, but that wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. The male bathroom didn’t even have a proper shower tap, which was very inconvenient.

The bed was simply two smaller beds pushed together with 2 mattresses and to make one large bed i had to fix whole night moving bed separating from each other which was uncomfortable to sleep i am having my back pain.

For $100 a night, this is far too expensive for what you get.

The light in male toilet was not working. I reported to the staff when I checked in on that day. Due to the late evening, she could only get it fixesd in the morning.
Another point is that, unlike the female toilet, the male toilet has the hand wash basin in one of the bathroom, making it very inconvenient to use it when the bathroom is being used.

We were comfortable for 2 days. Reasonable price for this room with shared bathroom facilities. Tidy and clean but a little noisy at times before 11pm so if you want an early sleep maybe take ear plugs but otherwise quite acceptable. Close to shopping centre and ample parking. Great meals on site and well priced.

This hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is close to restaurants and transport to the city.

The hotel is quite and older style building that needs some work. There was a significant amount of mould on the timber work in the women’s shower and no where to put your toiletries while you were in the shower. In the room the windows are quite old and do not seal properly letting all of the street noise in making quite difficult to sleep. The cleaner then started vacuuming in the hallway outside our room at 6am. We also heard another guest go out and tell him that it was way too early to be vacuuming as people were trying to sleep.

I went here alone for an event, and I am so glad to have chosen this place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean towels were provided everyday, and biscuits were filled up after they finished. Bathrooms were also cleaned up frequently. After a long day at the event, coming back to the room was such a great feeling, good vibe. Thank you.

However, my room #14 has fell short in 3 things: 1) the noise from its air conditioner when it's turned on. (major), 2) there were no channels to be watched from the tv. Ladies may whinge that the men’s bathroom is larger than theirs and the aroma of processed food making its way into the hotel bedroom. Parking is at the back but it wasn’t obvious until the kebab shop owner next door pointed it out. Really disappointing stay. There was no hot water in the showers for any of the nights we stayed, the road traffic was so loud we couldn’t sleep and our room was double booked. There was also vomit all through the woman's bathroom, which took hours to clean. We won’t be returning.

Most of the staff gave a warm smile and great service, but it would seem they only care for the downstairs area in regards to cleaning. Cleaning was left to one person to clean all the upstairs area but unfortunately he missed alot of areas, including behind toilet doors, outside of toilet bowls, toilet walls and all kitchen surfaces just to mention a few. The fact he has missed areas comes down to a lack of training/supervision from management.
I found it strange that there was a cash only policy for the dining menu given we live in a covid world now, I had to do a funds transfer to the owners account. But the food was generous and tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The main issue for me was the office door downstairs that kept slamming every time it was used when staff would enter and exit it. At first I thought it was other guests being inconsiderate of fellow guests, but I later discovered it to be the staff not caring for their sleeping guests upstairs.
My bedroom window was dirty and had no flyscreen also had no seal so I felt the cold air on my face through the night even though it was closed.

This is your typical suburban pub with accommodation upstairs. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. They need to supply a small box of tissues in each room. Fellow guests were almost invisible and no inconvenience at all. Service at the bar, bistro and check-in was very prompt and friendly.

We didn’t realise we had booked a “pub” with shared facilities.... so a little worried on arrival.... but Jenny greeted us warmly, showed us our room and the facilities and assured us the bed was comfortable... Our stay was fabulous and the bed was BEAUTIFUL!!! Shared bathroom was no issue. Close to ANZ Stadium with easy train service. Would definitely stay here again!!

Short - would not stay longer tyhan you have to.
To be fair, you get what you pay for. Really a backpackers for working people, no frills and shared bathroom facilities, but rooms ok. One gents shared wash hand basin, 2 toilets and 2 working showers between 18 rooms, so get up early if you want to wash your hands after using the facilities or have a shave/shower.

Initially I was advised that I don't have a booking & then after presenting the confirmation email, I was told that there are no rooms available despite the booking confirmation.
Then I was informed that the room is not clean & I have to wait for 15-20 minutes before the room can be cleaned & be available.

I would not stay here again. Was asked to pay a security deposit on arrival which after staying in this hotel I now understand why they ask for it looking at the type of patrons that frequent the hotel. The room itself was very clean, it was just a shame that I didn't feel safe to eat or drink downstairs and worried about my work vehicle being parked at this hotel. Unfortunately I booked accommodation late on Wotif so there was no average priced accommodation left around the Parramatta area so thought I would give this one a shot. Never again, next time I'll pay a high price somewhere else.

The one good thing about Melton hotel is just being close to train station but everything else about it was terrible. No bed sheet for 3days I spend there. To have fresh towel, you have to ask otherwise you stuck with the one you had. No one check use if we are okay or need something. When I ask why we didn't have bed sheet changed, the manager said there is no house keeping on weekends. Where on earth do you not doing cleaning on weekend? Common! Cleaning is a daily basis thing to be honest.
When we came there was an electronic tea making kettle with the water from previous occupants. God knows what date and time did he/she left the hotel. There was no option to change that water unless I use the toilet taps. So we had no tea in there for 3days we were there.

On arrival to the accomadation was a negative experience, was told i was to be there at 9pm was not notified of this at time of booking i called the hotel to advise i maybe running late in checking in was advised thats fine we close at 10pm. I arrived with my family at 1010pm was negative attitude feom a lady named kat. Although all was sorted, comfortable sleep, some concerns regards to safety, windowz did not lock and was easy to get through!
