Booked the room for Sinulog. Perfect view of the parade from the 32nd and 9th floor (pool). Super easy to run down to the parade, wander around, and get awesome food. The room was very spacious, two full size beds. Very clean. Nice bath, no hot water…but not unusual in Cebu. Very clean and updated. The staff live up to Filipino standards: cheerful, helpful, and polite. Price was well worth it. I would highly recommend this hotel for any future guests, especially for Sinulog. Only snag was parking in the garage as there is a hotel and a casino. Staff not aware who could park where. That was easily remedied with the concierge desk.

Time for remodeling!

Check-in procedure was very smooth. Passport copy, address & email info with a small deposit and voila!

The staff members were very polite, friendly, and helpful. I was greeted with warm smiles and kind comments from the security staff and check-in crew.

They have a crazy \"no visitors\" policy, and they charge you if you have guests after 10p. Not mentioned on the website. Hm

The building is old and needs a little TLC. The reviews about the shower draining slow are true. Additionally, the sink in unit 2507 leaked water onto the floor when used. The A/C unit was cold enough to refrigerate food. (Not quite cold enough for ice cream though.)

I attempted to order room service shortly after check-in (7:30p) only to find that they didn't have burgers or pizza available, but they are the prominent items displayed on their menus. Fortunately, there are several restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was comfortable, but the 27\" TV was quite small. There are wonderful unobstructed views from the 25th floor. This building has an observatory level that was closed during my stay.

There is a casino located on the 3rd floor, and a pool and fitness center available for those interested. Transportation is available right outside the front door, but there are times when the grab taxis are not in the area and you have to keep trying, or use one of the local taxis stationed out front.

Check-out is straightforward. Turn in your key, wait for room inspection, then receive your deposit.

I enjoyed my 7 nights here. Breakfast was very limited but ok. The room was very comfortable and AC was good. Outside windows were very dirty. Shower was lukewarm and never warmer. Bathroom sink got very hot water. Bathroom drain was very slow. House keeping was very good but not available on Sunday. I thought this hotel was a good value for what I paid.

Love this hotel, the construction is your original high quality material that's hard to find nowadays - strong and solid. The room was quite spacious and enjoyed the awesome views from the upper levels. They have a fully fitted gym that was a pleasure to use as well as both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Location is an easy 3mins walk away from Robertson Mall. Only major issue we had was the occasional cold showers and low water pressure we encountered from time to time.

At ine time, this WAS probably a very nice and fun hotel. They had thrill rides on the roof. Upscale club, etc. Sadly, this place is so run down and in life support. The pool area was falling apart. Only the mail pool was open. Tiles missing around it, an empty spa pool full of scum. Same for the hot tub. Empty except of mold in the bottom.
In my room, the first thing i saw was two long black hairs in the sink. And theres no hot water!!! They offered a refund if i left. I stayed two nights, only long enough to find a decent hotel (Quest Hotel is where to go in Cebu!).
The staff are SO KIND AND FRIENDLY, HELPFUL. I feel bad for them. They need jobs, and the owners have given up, leaving the staff to face the guests who are disappointed.
Expedia should remove this hotel from its list.

For alll 8days of my stay the boiler was broken, so only cold showers. The phone also did not work until repaired. The morning, included meal, was local, not to my liking, got sick once. The hotel only has 2 elevators for 40 floors, very busy and slow for many days. The front of the hotel is under constructions, with scaffolding, open sewer smell on entry.

on the second night… There was a RAT in my room… it crawled over my feet and hid underneath my bed… I left, they forced me to move rooms… but there was no way I’m staying at that place…

Sad part too is that they did not refund me for the remaining days of my stay…

That place should be condemend… The shower was not draining water…and the elevators would only take you to a certain floor… you have to step out in the middle of a dark dimmed level to hop on a different elevator…this place is run down…

This place is filthy - DO NOT STAY HERE!

The staff are very helpful and attentive, fulfilling many of my small requests such as being neighbours with a friend and having breakfast boxes made for early tours.

The hotel itself was nice for Cebu, the rooms were modern and not lacking in anything.

There was a good pool and gym available for use.

The area is busy, near a major roundabout so there will be honking 24/7. My advice would to be to stay on the 19th floor and below because there is a split elevator system which can be inconvenience to use. I stayed in the 27th floor and would have to change on the 19th.

Otherwise great location with a supermarket, street food and laundry nearby.

The ‘hot’ water was only 6-10 (am&pm) the temperature was lukewarm at best.
I needed two lifts to get to my floor, which was inconvenient & a lot of waiting
No help with bags (someone is present to open a door at the entrance)
When I asked for a bottle of water the staff said ‘no.’ And directed me to a shop. Then when I questioned there being no water in the hotel the staff said it’s complimentary only and I’ve had my bottle. I then was able to pay extra for another 250ml bottle.
The toilet was practically falling off the wall, swaying if I sat down. The staff said they’ll let maintenance know when they’re back.
Was served a gone off salad and told the lettuce is off bcs the dressing….
I had to seek and drag a subbed with the male staff free & watching me struggle
Breakfast was trash.
Near a shopping center which is good but busy ‘city’ area. Safe but not a holiday destination
Very old facilities & difficult to turn the tv off

I was able to make a call through the reception phone which was helpful so they don’t get a terrible rating.

The property is somehow different now compare in the past management, they doesnt have toothpaste or even brush. Aircon is not that cold, i still need to contact with the maintenance to have it fix. We havent stay there on our first night because my uncle was upset about the check in time. We were so tired at our flight and its more than 2 pm still rooms are not available yet. The staff are nice and very accommodating

Crowne is great hotel with spectacular views of sea or mountain. Breakfast was good, beds clean and comfortable.
Close to shop and massage within the building area.
Walked 5klm morning around area and safe, although had beggar last night asking for money in a drugged stupor, so just be aware when walking locally at night. Howe r you have Robinson mall and other shops in area so it still is our go to place in Cebu.

When I was planning for my trip, I trying to choose between three different properties. The main deciding points for choosing Crowne Regency over the other two hotels were the Chinese restaurant on site, the gun shooting on site, as well as the Skywalk and rides. All were shown and advertised on the the hotel website when I was deciding which hotel, but when I arrived, none were available.
Also there was no laundry service onsite. No hot water. When we arrived we were told the hot water was being regulated. As certain times there would be hot water, and other times no hot water. There was NEVER any hot water at anytime.
There also a leak with the sink faucet.
Finally, the Chinese restaurant that I enjoy so much, was partially transferred to the second floor. On my first day I ordered Wang Chow fried rice. They said it included Shrimp. I told them I was allergic to shrimp, and can they put the shrimp on the side for my friend who likes shrimp. They said yes. When my order arrived, I received a side plate with a single (one) shrimp. WOW...
I have stayed at Crowne Regency numerous times before and I have always enjoyed my stay. I guarantee I will never stay Crowne Regency again.
When I arrived I was told the hotel had new management. It seems the new management is failing badly.

Arrived and checked in late at night. It went smoothly. Nice view of the city from our room. Room was spacious so it was good. However, hot water in the bathroom is available on certain time only. With regards to their parking space, we had no problem except we need to request a validation slip in their front desk to be given in parking tollboth every time will go out of the building aside from the parking card they give once you enter their parking area. Outside condition of the building when you look at it is not maintained and seems an abandon building. Exciting amenities no longer operational. Overall rating would be 6. Their location from the tourist spots is good. Staff are nice and would be a plus point if they would greet guests to feel welcome at their hotel. Hot water in showers at all times is a must for me. Hassle free in and out of their parking area would be better. I think parking card itself will suffice their monitoring and validation slip should be abolished. Outside appearance and look of the hotel will greatly affect and attract future clients.

We booked 2 rooms on this property and stayed for 10 days with my family. We have two small children, an infant and a 2 year old. When we arrived at the hotel reception I noticed the hotel looks run down from the outside and inside is smelly. Upon check in, the front desk told us that we are not allowed to buy food outside. If we do, they will charge us a corkage. We told them that we will not stay if they charge us a corkage then they waived the corkage. This hotel has poor management, the housekeeping is not doing their job properly. My 2 year old toddler got sick staying in this hotel. It is very dusty and very dirty, especially under the beds. The toilet is filthy and disgusting. On the second day of our stay the toilet was broken. We reported it to them. Someone came to fix it but it got broken again. They did not fix it after that. The other room that my mother and my son occupied, the toilet door is broken and again it is very dusty and disgusting. We are forced to stay in this hotel as they don’t give a refund when I ask them to amend our bookings. In the bathroom there is no bath mat, face towel and hand towel, the bathroom smell is disgusting. It is very poor housekeeping. The housekeeping department needs proper training on cleanliness. You can't run a hotel like this. We are glad we did not buy breakfast or any food at this hotel. We do not trust the cleanliness of this hotel. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Most of the kitchen staff does not wear mask, waiters need to go back to mopping floors, ask for 2 eggs they say ok but only bring one egg. Then tell you it’s would be 30 pesos extra. Trip from the airport was good, very helpful. Check in took long, asked if family can go to the room while I checked in, said yes. Cleanliness was OK, rust around toilet seat screws. Shower leaked water around the fittings. floor was very slippery due to the tile used, no non-slip anywhere, had to use towel. AC had the chill water valves closed, had to call front desk to align system, then the rooms started cooling. Once aligned, the AC worked great. Personnel very helpful. Some times the desk phone was put on \"Do Not Disturb\" received busy signal until I went down to complain. Kitchen would not answer the phone, once I ordered food, it arrived and it was good. Hotel should have some type of money exchange service, unless you have a bank account, no one will exchange money. The front desk didn't even have the simplist of tools; \"a stylist pen\".

What you risk: high probability of lending in a room that has a strong smell of old, rotten stuff; shower not working (didn't work in the first room we got, didn't work in the \"upgraded\" one either), wireless only working for 5 min, bathroom fixtures leaking.
What you get: competitively priced (not worth it IMO), great staff (great people, willing to help but then there's only so much they can do).
Maybe OK for one night. I would not recommend for families with children. Forget the number of \"stars\" and focus on reading the online reviews when deciding.

Termites have destroyed the baseboards on the 12th floor, property condition including basics like painting has not been done in year. The room was not the cleanest, but what really got me was seeing the rat run under my chair at the pool!! Wifi didn’t work in my room, told someone, they fixed it, lasted 5 minutes. Location was cool close to lots of stuff

I booked two rooms at this Hotel. The Hotel claims to be a 4 star, no way 2 and a half at best. The room smelt because the laminate floor has been mopped extensively and has buckled. The internet did not work for my room, I called reception and was advised to connect via my room number but my room number did not show up. The bath had black mould around the edges and the shower leaked from the tap so there was little pressure and the towels smelt. I called to be connected to the manager after I had spoken to her but there was an issue in connecting me. The lift system needs an overhaul as you will wait a while if your on the upper floors as you have to change lifts at the 19th Floor and then there was only one lift in service to continue upwards.

On the upside, the manager Lady (thats her name, Lady) took all my concerns seriously and arranged for 2 upgraded rooms and some complementary food. To be honest I never saw the rooms as i'd seen enough, I found another hotel and checked out a few hours after i'd checked in.

My partner and I decided to stay here for 2 nights. The hotel is an hour from the airport and there are no restaurants around. The room was big and had a comfortable bed. The whole building is under construction so someone helped us with our bags, as it is a bit of a maze. The second day the plumbing in our room stopped, it took more than an hour for anything to be done, eventually we changed rooms. The pool and gym are okay, could definitely use a clean. Throughout our stay, the wifi was horrendous. They informed us once that it would be down for a short time. However the rest of the time it hardly worked, turning on and off or losing connection. We asked for assistance several times and they would come to our room and unplug it and plug it back in- that clearly was not the solution. The laundry service at the hotel had extortionate prices, we had to find one ourselves. Everything was very dated and needed a proper cleaning, the hotel and our room. When it was time for us to go, I called the front desk to ask for help with our bags an hour before. No one showed up. When I asked what happened they said they are under staffed, but no one informed us. I explained all of my frustrations with the manager and suggested they organize our airport transfer. She gave us a time when it would pick us up and ensured us it would only take a half an hour to the airport. The shuttle was late and it took an hour, we could have missed our flight. This hotel has horrible management.

Expensive... needs a terrible improvement!!!

After a terrible experience of my stay last 25/10/2019... i came back 28/10/2019 for another 2 night stay. To my surprise, the problem with regards on calliing their reception area, house keeping and other drpartment is still difficult as no one answers the phone. Im suffering from a diarrhoea on my first night and i ran out of the toilet roll. I need to come down to the reception in the lobby from the 9th floor to ask for a toilet roll because no one answers my call. The worst expetience that i cant ignore and requested to the manager for my complaints was.... when i went down at the starbucks in the lobby at 12:00 on 29/10/2019, upon coming back to my room at 12:30, to my surprise the door was widely opened and pretty obvious that someone came in to my room within the 30 minutes i am away!!! Luckily all my valuables was left inside my Luggage and was locked. Until now i was wondering who was that who sneak inside my room.
