Good budget hotel in convenient location.

I spent 5 nights in this hotel over 2 stays. Nothing negative to report, hotel was what I would expect in the price range, the staff were efficient and polite, breakfast was served promptly, and the rooms were of a good size with no noise issues from adjacent rooms.
My only criticism is that the air con was a little bit noisy, and this may be a problem for some guests.
All in all, a couple of enjoyable stays.

Pleasant hotel let down by maintenance (?) noises.

On the whole a pleasant 3 night stay, with the only real negative being intermittent loud banging noises that were especially pronounced at night. I couldn’t pin down the source, but it wasn’t other guests (soundproofing was good), it was something in the fabric of the building, possibly air con? Whatever it was, it made me jump on several occasions, especially at night.
Staff were pleasant and efficient, and the general area was safe with easy access to restaurants, shops etc.

No laundry service and charge 350 for the iron,and upon check out we were charge another 350 because my husband cut his fingers and the bedsheet had a very tiny blood stain its ok if they charge that but they should include that in their policy and infirm the customers ahead of time,staff are very friendly ,facilities is clean and it us centrally located .

It’s not that fancy place but its ok if you are on a budget stay since you are on vacation that you will not stay in the room the whole day. You only need only a bed for sleep for the night. Good place with breakfast. We will come back here to stay for a cebu vacation. Thank you for the stay.

i been one of the loyal guest of this hotel. Everytime i have a bussiness trip i always stay in here that is why i can say the improvements. Before its only 1 or 2 in the front disk but this time it was 4-5 people. So you can see that it was busy and fully booked must of the time. That is why the problem comes out. 1. The parking space is very small so if have a car probably your parking space is in the road. 2. Not much room when in stay so they give me a spare room who is quit old and not totally maintain room 404. And number 3. Everytime i stay i bring my favourate wine but the problem is no chiller or fridge in that room. So next day i was asking where the frigde is? They said no fridge on that room and if i want to transfer they have a another room but i need to pay extra.

The hotel is close to the hospital where our family member is confined.

We purchased two beds but they gave us one double bed instead of 2 during the first day.

The room’s lock is broken for 4 days which is an important safety issue. The service is very slow.

The housekeeping takes a while to pick our trash.

They charge us every time we request for iron for clothes.

The staff are friendly and smiling.

That is the worst possible option in Cebu to stay. I have got two rooms and delux room has no window, the fact have never been mentioned in room description. For 3 days stay the rooms have never been cleaned. There is a great problem with hot water, one of rooms has only hot, but another only cold water, so it was too dificult to take a shower. The aircoditioners are so noisy that no option to sleep when it's working, but when switch of also not possible to sleep as it's too warm. They use some antic type aircons, windoe type , but built in wall, as there is no window. The only advantage is a complimentary spring water. The breacfast is too poor and takes much time to have it, unless you go before 8 AM. In conclusion this hotel is seriously overprised , so in case you want to stay in this location better take a nother hotel located in same street, just oposite of Hamersons, named Hotel Plus. The location is the only advatage, but there are many beeter hotels in same location.

Lots of mold/mildew in the bathroom. On arrival day they gave me info to get on WiFi, which didn't work in my room. Had them put the info in my phone at the lobby and it worked. Back to my room it didn't work again. That's when they told me WiFi wasn't working on my floor. Next day WiFi was working but barely. Tried ordering things on breakfast menu but often told they were out of that. Tried ordering room service and had to pick several times before they said it was available. Would never stay at this location again.

I booked three hotel rooms through Expedia. All rooms were supposed to be doubles, however, we received a king bed room, a double and twin bed room, and only one two double bed room. The staff was very unprofessional when they could have easily solved our problem. They said Expedia states they only give the selected rooms upon hotel availability, but I read all the terms and conditions and this is not true. After much frustration through talking with the front desk including the manager and showing proof of my booking 3 double bed rooms, they finally admitted fault and said, “sorry for the incovience.” They thought it was better that I, the customer, was inconvenienced than the money hungry Hamerson Hotel. We waited over 15 minutes to get our room ready 2 hours after the regular check in time as they got side-tracked and forgot about us and then there were no towels in the room. Also, they would not take a card for incidentals and only would take cash. This was my worst hotel staff experience I have had. They could have easily fixed this booking mistake by 1) giving a discount, 2) offering an additional room to meet the quantity of beds requested, 3) reimburse for room, or 4) at least throw in something free to make me feel like a valued customer. The staff needs some serious training. The hotel has good accommodations, however, I would not stay here knowing that room placement accuarcy is only at 33.3%. This could easliy ruin someone’s entire trip.

Overall the hotel is a great place to stay.. The staff were very helpful, easy to approach, and readily gave assistance on other needs such as day trips around the city, where to find local delicacies. The rooms is neat and well provided for comfort. On the down side - room doors as i have observed were not well fitted having enough gaps to permit corridor noises to disturb.

Very disappointed n dissatisfied customer . Very scary hotel, rusty toilet, no windows , very small n dark room, very noisy , no wall sound proofing you can hear even the tiniest lowest coughing next door and scary since at nightime someone kept knocking on our door then we opened door then no one around. We stayed 3 nights out of 8 and the case still pending since according to Travelocity Hammersons hotel will not want to give us the 5 unused nights . We checked out faster than wait Ng to get a refund because our lives were not safe there. Please save your lives don’t go this hotel .

Our stay was nice. We booked three rooms for our family. We stayed here before we flew to another area in the Philippines. The service was great. The front end staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was prepared properly and tasted great. The security guards at the front were also very nice. Only issue was the cleaning. One of the toilets was not cleaned. Someone must have had an explosion on the toilet and there was marks all over the bottom of the seat. Also, we noticed a bug issue in the room. The hotel is very far from the airport. It took us 45 minutes during the day to get to the airport. Other than the cleaning the place was great. I probably would not stay there again. Nothing against the hotel, but it is to far.

Still one of the best places to stay in the area

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Quiet area despite being located near the provincial capitol. Some places like convenience stores and restaurants can be reached in 3-5 minutes. Room service is only available up to 9 PM so if you're the type to eat dinner late I suggest availing of the few restaurants within walking distance. It sucks though if it rains so travel prepared.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. However, there was an issue with breakfast. I booked the room for a family of 4 and breakfast was supposed to be included. But the staff there was trying to make me pay extra for breakfast for the kids. In the end, I refused to pay extra as it was showing that breakfast was included for 2 adults and 2 children. Quiet and homey. It’s a lovely little hotel. Close to everything. The service is amazing, the crew is very welcoming. The bed is comfortable l, the aircon is amazing. The food is delicious and I like the fact that they have free breakfast and it tasted yummy. Highly recommend this hotel. I stayed with my husband and 4 year old. We would like to stay in this hotel again.
