The hotel is very conveniently located near shops, dining establishments, and a recreational park with easy trsnsportation access to major areas of Cebu City. The hotel could improve on its breakfast menu which is monotonous and the stink from the air conditioner inside the elevator. Wifi is also not consistent with periodic interruptions in signal strenght.

The property is dirty, lots of cockroach, we checked in late after midnight and when we enter to our room we were surprised of cockroaches and was offered to another room and the same right away upon opening the door cockroach are crowling even at the reception lots of big cockroaches are crazy. Very disappointed and early morning we found another best hotel named amber hotel.

Staff are great to work with. hardworking, they are always looking out for your welfare. I was passing by two of the staff on my floor as they were cleaning a room, and one of them stopped what they were doing and asked if there was anything I needed replaced- toiletries or towels, etcetera. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. The Inn has always been my go-to place whenever I am in Cebu. Very convenient location. Wifi is all right. Taxis are always available any given time .. even evenings. Public buses and jeepneys (yes , some are still running. God bless them.) is ont he coner jeepney stop. The major bank branches and government offices are available along Jones Avenue. Surrounded by lots of food joints. The Robinson's Mall is just across. So many things to like about Elegant Circle Inn. Its old .. but does not show its age. Good maintenance. Highly recommended.

When I am in Cebu, i ALWAYS stay at Elegant Circle. Cannot beat the location. Only a short walk away to any 5 or 6 public transport lines. Shjops and eateries only a few steps away. Robinson's Mall, less than 5 minutes. Taxis are always available, day or night. Quiet , surprising as its right across multi-lane roundabout that is the Fuente Osmeña. Major government offices are also up and down the avenue. Lots and plots of plus'es.

Elegant Circle Inn is a bit old and outdated. Water pressure is a bit low but all that is fine. I come here all the time when I am in Cebu because it is right in the center of the city where all the restaurants and shopping centers are. It is very convenient to eat and get beer when you arrive.

Only if you really have to save money

* i was asked to sign a form that's one of the sections says that even if damage is caused to my belongings bye negligence of the staff i still have no right to sue the hotel . I think that something like this should be mentioned on the booking site that people will know what is expecting them.
* the staff is decency nice.
* the room is old and not nice. It has a double bed and a single bed.
* the shower is barely hot and the water pressure is very low.
* the windows are sealed so there is no real outside view.
* the walls are paper thin so don't expect to get much sleep.
* the toilet is not flushing well.
* breakfast staff is nice breakfast is decently good but tiny . The brewed coffee is decently good and large.
* the dining room is very well air conditioned so better bring a jacket or wear long sleeves .
* wi-fi is good in all the hotel areas
* if you try to wipe your button while sitting on the toilet you will probably dip your hand in the toilet water.

Good service and staff. Older building, that needs upgrades. No cover on CR ceiling fan, that allows in mosquitoes and other insects.. not to mention a safety hazard for fingers. Renovations going on in the afternoon, but not really bothering me, or my rest. Decent food, but skimpy portion on free breakfast. All and all, a decent stay.

A fine hotel for the cost.

Firstly one must realize that this is a budget hotel and for the cost I, a foreigner, would recommend it to friends. The price was very modest but it can not be compared to the fine hotels in Cebu. The people were nice, the room was clean and I will use this hotel as my place to stay when in Cebu.

If I had to find something bad about this hotel, it would be the restaurant service. The people, with whom I was eating, were the only people in the restaurant and we all ordered simple meals and I ordered a cheeseburger… nothing really complicated. The restaurant staff was polite; however the service was poor, even by Philippine standards. The staff was watching some ridiculous laughing contest on the TV and one boy server was laughing out loud causing me to suspect that he had “issues”. During the commercial, I was brought a cold cheeseburger with cold French fries.

Everything else was very nice and I will certainly return; however I will use one of the many restaurants nearby.

The location was great with many options for entertainment.

Did not get room we reserved. They argued about reservation. When I showed them reservation, they say Hotels.com lied to us. Hotel old and dirty. Bed made us itch all night. I actually had to tell them to make up room. We will NEVER stay there again. No even for free. DO NOT STAY!!!

I've stayed here numerous times before. As of my recent visit, things were not so orderly. Although the staff was courteous, they didn't meet the standards set by prior visits. For example, the security guard didn't open the door for guest coming or going. He was also not visible.

Nightmare of a hotel

Booked this hotel thinking the rooms looked good and a great location payed for 5 days up front
that was the first mistake 2nd mistake was staying there,the room i was given was like a cell no fridge no daylight , just a rubbish window vent on the wall which was on the corridor wall, this place is so noisy with group bookings, first night 30 people in and out of rooms until 1 am then the restaurant outside starts blasting bass music at 6 15 am every morning , 2nd night again loads of people up and down the corridor banging doors calling down to other rooms finally told them to shut up at 2 am , then 5 am house keeping starts dragging carts and beds around the corridors getting rooms ready for 50 plus guests booking in at 8 am , and yes the bass music started again at 6,15 am , the breakfast was crap the hotel staff did nothing about my complaints they just smiled and said we busy house keeping must get rooms ready, I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was the worst, from B and B;s in Dover to 5 star in Sri Lanka doss houses in Thailand , this place is the pits avoid it , there are loads better just around the corner

Towel scam & 1 item went missing frm luggage stora

We made a few bookings here during our stay in the Phil. since we’re also visiting nearby islands. The 1st room we got was nice. Upon checking out, they inspected our room & got charged P350 for a stain in a towel we didn’t do. Since we’re on our way out to visit another island & ready to go, we left the towel we got to keep w/ our bag we left in their storage. When we returned, the towel is missing. We’re told housekeeping probably took it. The missing item was not replaced! Also, we’re given 1 of those rooms with small windows that open up to the hallways. You can hear all the noise in the hall. It was dirty; the floor has dust bunnies & fingernails all over. There’s barely any hot water & toilet was not flushing right. Based on past event, we checked the towels before using them & found stains on one. I showed this to one of the front desk ladies. I told her that we just checked in & found their towel already stained. She called housekeeping & a male staff came to meet us. He said he’s still charging us for it! I told him that we just checked in! The female & male staff started talking in their dialect in front of me w/c was extremely rude. They agreed to replace the towel & not charge me for the stained one. The female staff told me I was charged the 1st time because it was the supervisor who checked our room; she didn't have a choice. She added sometimes they let things go & not charge guests for stained towels. But I was going to be charged for a pre-existing stain!

A basic 3-star hotel, reasonably priced and right in the center of activity. Staff is very helpful, front security always there to open the door.

Dont order the ice from housekeeping! It is free, but not purified! Go down to the restaurant and buy it for $27 pesos...then you get frozen mineral water. Its been a week since our visit and I'm still fighting stomach issues from my first bucket of ice...wish I had known!

Easy to get a ride

This hotel ain't bad at all, at first we were disappointed with the sink and the toilet, there was a leak on the sink but was fix immediately, and the toilet was not the best but it work fine, it just takes 2 flushes to get the job done. Probably because it's all the way to 6th floor but then again there are a lot of hotels which are higher and have great plumbing done. Also the breakfast, it sucks, they don't know how to properly cook eggs, they always managed
To burn the eggwhites when I ask for over easy/medium/hard. Whatever, it's not the best hotel but it's not bad either.
