The room was not super clean. There was a pair of underwater from the last guest in our bedroom. Also it was very dusty. Furthermore, the fridge smelled awful! Outside of that, the view was great! Staff were friendly and helpful! You can order food to your room using their app, which was also cool! Nice selection of tv channels as well.

The room was nice though we were downgraded when we arrived to a smaller room. It was not like the room advertised that i paid for.

The staff were nice and helpful, except for not answering the phones for over 30 minutes. I had to go diem and ask my question, and this one woman asked why i didn't call. She also mislead us about pool towels, saying the hotel did not offer them. \" We don't do that.\" Actually they do, the bartender near the pool pointed out the area with clean towels. There were a couple of other problems with her, but we learn to laugh off the minor things. The other staff were great.

The pool is nice. I liked the poolside bar. The tv is satellite but no Netflix or streaming service.

The room was great. The Hotel was well kept and wouldn't hesitate to stay here on my next trip. I was not crazy about breakfast buffet. Food that should be hot was not and over the time I was here the selections never changed. There are several restaurants to choose from for other meals within minutes of hotel.

We recently booked a six-night stay in this hotel. I rate this hotel 10/10. First of all, it’s off-season.The price I paid was very reasonable. We arrived early at 9 AM and were allowed early check-in without additional cost. The hotel stands out in cleanliness, prompt Customer Service and a king’s breakfast for two that’s offered at ABACA cafe - an upper mid to high end restaurant. It has a pool, gym, and laundry area. Transportation within the city is not a problem as there is a taxi line in front of the hotel. Their concierge is also very helpful.
There is a free gallon of drinking water in the room and is replenished as needed. Anywhere in Europe and US, we always have to buy bottled water since some hotels don’t provide. Some do but just 1-2 bottles a day which isn’t enough.
The hotel is within the Baseline group of buildings - a mixed development. It is fun to walk around and find an array of restaurants, coffee shops and stores, Most of all, there is a supermarket at the basement of Baseline Premier.
The hotel is near hospitals and universities. I met some medical students from University of Bristol who are doing their clinicals at a nearby prestigious medical school in Cebu- just a walking distance.
Now, I know where to go the next time I visit Cebu and need to find a hotel within the city.

The Place To Be!

Absolutely wonderful property! Building is in great condition, amenities are far above standard, location is central to everything, and the staff members are warm, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The Junior Executive Suite or Executive Loft are the ideal options to select if they are within your budget. They both have ample seating space, as well as separate sleeping and living areas.

My Junior Executive Suite was a corner unit with an outstanding view of the city and the ocean. Complete with a washer/dryer, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, two burner stove, dual a/c units, a 55\" TV in the living area and a 32\" TV in the bedroom with too many cable channels to list.

Transportation options exist right outside the front door and several food options are within walking distance.

Ayala Mall is a 10 minute taxi trip, but traffic conditions can turn this into a 40 minute ride, so plan accordingly.

There are numerous bars within a 10 minute walk, and a concierge in the lobby that can arrange tours or transportation.

The fitness center is severely under equipped. They have dumbells, a cable machine, 2 treadmills, 2 adjustable benches, and a bike. The area is also cramped. The square footage is similar to the living area in the Junior Executive Suite.

Overall, a great place to stay no matter what's on your agenda. They offer rates for long-term stays as well.

The location is conveniently close to our meeting venue and easy to reach for Grab drivers.

The food is good, and the hotel overall is clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the complimentary water, welcome snacks, and the thoughtful welcome letter it added a special touch.

We had a great stay. Hotel was nice and quiet. We didn’t get a chance to check out the pool and exercise area. The only issue was there was only one garbage can and that was in the bathroom. Made it a little difficult to throw away your trash. Other than that it was excellent! When we are back in Cebu this will a place high on our list for a hotel.

I would gladly stay at this hotel again. The staff is friend and extremely outgoing. The property is clean and linen change daily. The morning butter is massive and has a very wide variety with a brunch feel. You are within ten minutes ride of mall, hospital, parks etc…. The pool, gym, laundry, and bar are on the 9th floor as is the main desk for check in/out. There are enough restaurants on the ground floor so food isn’t a problem, try Sunburst chicken and Korean Bbq.

This is a highly recommended stay in Cebu City. By FAR the best breakfast buffet around, very high food quality and selection with enough pastries to satisfy any appetite. The hotel is clean, modern, and with welcoming staff. There is a mini shopping center with a convenience store located at the base of the building if you dont intend to travel out or are only staying for a short time.The location is close to the bars on Mango street if you want to drink or see live music.

Great new hotel

Needed a hotel for a one-night stay in Cebu before heading back to Manila and Citadines was a perfect fit. First off, I need to mention that Citadines is a “serviced apartment” style hotel which means that rooms come with more than the usual hotel amenities. The main addition is a kitchen and pantry area complete with cookware and utensils.

The basic amenities are all present and correct. The hotel is fairly new and it shows in the condition of the rooms and building in general. We did have an issue with the shower in our room having a very slow drain.

First-timers might find the hotel's layout a bit confusing in that the hotel itself is just part of a high-rise multi-use skyscraper in the heart of downtown Cebu. What looks like reception is actually a concierge desk for arranging tours and activities – the actual reception is in the hotel lobby which is all the way up on the 9th floor. From the 9th floor up of the building is the actual Citadines hotel itself.

The aforementioned pool was an ample size and wonderful to be in, whether just relaxing or turning laps. It does get a bit chilly though exposed to the wind at that height.

Breakfast was an excellent buffet. Room service isn't available from the hotel per se but they do inform you of an app that's available for delivery via a co-branded service.

Service from the staff was above average. Location-wise the hotel was in a good spot in the heart of Cebu City.

Overall, we had a great stay.

My 4 days stay at Citadine was extended to 2 more days , thats how comfortable i was . Clean, complete kitchen amenities which i was looking for , comfortable sleeping , close to everything in Cebu. Transportation was 100 percent available . No problem exploring outside and inside the city. An added bonus is the plentiful breakfast, and the plus amenities is the infiniti pool which i used several times . Shout out to all the friendly staff at Citadine Cebu , their politeness and friendly hospitality is excellent. I would recommend it . Note : there is a Super Market at the ground level .

This was, by far, the best hotel we have stayed in for many years! The breakfast buffet was over the top! I actually view this place as an amazing breakfast with complimentary hotel! The entire place was run very well. I can't say enough about the obvious attention to detail and service here. The room was amazing, staff were amazing, pool was fabulous on the 9th floor - I highly recommend this place as I would stay nowhere else in Cebu - I meant that very sincerely!

This property is 6 years old and well maintained. Rooms are on the small side (we had a 1 BR suite), felt tight. Slippers are provided but very flimsy, no bathrobes. Kitchenette has all required items for 2 guests. Buffet breakfast was ok (Seda has better selection). We asked for latte and there was a surcharge! We did have a take away breakfast prepared for an early excursion and it was the best packed breakfast I've had!

Kitchen sink linked all over the floor, more than once. The TV in the bedroom had no sound.The wifi would drop off occasionally. If you have issues with your room you may not be able to reach the front desk. Breakfast was decent except for roaches crawling around on the pastries. There are plenty dining options and a grocery in the same complex as the Hotel.

To see a person urinating on the side walk 2 block from hotel I was living in, was a bit disturbing to me.
I also don’t like roaches. I saw 1 in my room 1 in the restaurant while having breakfast and several in the hotels restaurants restroom.
Otherwise, the hotel staff and restaurant staff was very accommodating and polite.
As far as transportation, it was a bit confusing. Was interested in using hotel’s transportation to airport. No one seem to know how I should book hotel transportation to airport. Ended up taking a cab.
