I showed up early due to the 4 hour trip and traffic we didn’t know how long it would take to get to the hotel. I am scheduled for an emergency double hernia surgery and my wife is 8 months pregnant. We were told we would have to wait for 2 hours before we could get a room. My guts are almost hanging out of both sides of my groin and my wife is very pregnant. The only seating in the lobby is a very hard bench which was low so if I did sit down it would have been difficult and painful to get back up.
We weren’t asking for special treatment. We would have even paid for early check in. It wasn’t offered. Finally they let us go up an hour early and as I was getting on the elevator the doors slammed on me and no one offered to help us with our luggage…. I won’t go back.

Room was good could have used a couple of chairs.
2 people,1 small wicker seat? Also room came with 2 bath towels no face clothes or a hand towel. Plans were to continue from here to Bantayan but due to storm change them abit. Asked front desk for assistance but didnt offer much help. Doorman was our source of information and he was what made staying here good , hope the kids enjoyed the chocolate. Dont plan on arriving early as they will not let you into your room untill 14:00 on the dot . Tired after a 18hrs of flying? Breakfast was good room was clean. A little more attention to detail and i would have given this another star. Staff very nice .

Was standard hotel no major issues, breakfast was mediocre but not bad. Staff were friendly but not overly helpful. In a bit of a sketchy area with prostitution, definitely saw a few coming into the hotel with guests but nothing overly bad. Rooms were small but okay, not much amenities ran out of toilet paper etc very quickly. Not super close to anything other than 7/11 either.

Price was really competitive compared with other hotels. Location was really convenient to everything. Staff was excellent, they made me feel very comfortable. Amenities were plentiful. The breakfast buffet was awesome (made me gain some weight). The pool was clean and relaxing. The gym was spotless and private, never crowded and accessible anytime. Parking was plentiful. Staff is world class (professional, well dressed ,courteous, well mannered, very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

It was a newer building and very clean. There’s a pool and a gym on the 19th floor. The pool is very small in size. The gym is very small with only one bench, 2 cardio machines and dumbbells that only go up to 50 pounds. Very limited equipment. Lots of restaurants close by for eating. 7-eleven store was across the street.
Breakfast was free, but lacked variety. Very limited choices.

For an American, great value for the money. The only problems I’ve had in the two times I’ve stayed there is the microwave in the room. I booked the room with the kitchenette, which is supposed to have a microwave, refrigerator, kitchen sink, and cabinet cabinets. The first time I was there the microwave was broken and I had to wait a whole day before they took a microwave out of another room. This time my room had no microwave at all, and it took a whole day for somebody from housekeeping to take a microwave from somebody else’s room. They should have one or two brand new microwaves on hand for when somebody’s microwave breaks.

Breakfast buffet should not have artificial juices with sugar.
They should be regular napkins not what looks like toilet paper. Eggs should not be fried in excess amount of oil.
Otherwise, hotel was very nice, and the restaurant food was good.

The family room with 4 twin beds is good in size. The kitchenette with refrigerator, big plus. Separate shower and toilet A+.
I only wish there were 4 chairs instead on just 2 and that the beddings were newer and white instead of gray. Overall, very good experience and reasonably priced. We stayed for 9 nights. Thank you Bayfront!

Caja cafe is good value and rhe food is tasty.I honestly can't see the low reviews given, it is central, swimming pool is nice and the food is also ok.

I really like that the hotel has an ATM machine that accept foreign mastercard and visa bank card so you don’t have to go to a currency exchange place and have a 24hr security guard so it’s safe to withdraw cash from the ATM machine. I didn’t like that there’s no aircon inside the elevator and the hallway going to the hotel room. You have to log in to your Netflix account for you to watch Netflix movies or series. They have a small area for breakfast the porridge was delicious! Overall, it was a good stay and the staffs were nice and helpful.

I had a rather disappointing stay at this hotel. The general cleanliness was below average—while the room appeared tidy at first glance, the floor under the bed was noticeably dusty. The towels, though washed, had a greyish tint, which didn’t give a very fresh or clean impression.

Another issue was the check-out process. It took an unusually long time because the staff needed to call someone to inspect the room before refunding the deposit. This caused unnecessary delays, especially for guests in a hurry.

Overall, the stay was not up to expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it for those who prioritize cleanliness and efficiency

OK hotel at a good price.

We chose the Bayfront as the price was good and the reviews were reasonably good. We only stayed one night. The room was nice and the bed was huge:
The only criticisms were that the bathroom basin tap was loose, we couldn’t figure out how to get the shower to come out of the rain head and the aircon was quite noisy.
We were going to get a drink by the pool in the evening but realised that the deinks had to be brought up from the main bar so we went down there instead. We were just enjoying our first drink when we were told the bar was closing, it wasn’t even 8.30pm.
The buffet breakfast spread was quite good in the morning. It was rather insulting having to wait for a room inspection before we could leave. It wasn’t like there was a fully stocked mini bar or anything, just an empty fridge. What were they checking?

The hotel is in a safe area with plenty of amenities nearby that is the good bit. After that everything rapidly goes downhill the room wasn’t that clean and the toiletries whilst not expecting expensive shower gel and shampoo were cheap and nasty. The room had a tiny window with the air conditioning being extremely noisy and taking up most of it and a cage on the unit which made the room feel very oppressive, when I asked they said all the rooms had this setup for the air conditioning. Staff on the front desk not helpful and quite rude and when my case was dropped down the stairs by the porter he wasn’t even apologetic. Breakfast very poor choice and foods not replenished when gone. I certainly would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

They make you pay a deposit then they lie to make sure you won't get the money back. Terrible staff relations. Overpriced food at there restaurant. Not a clean hotel. Terrible location due to traffic. I will never stay there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The highlight of my stay was the all-you-can-eat hot breakfast, which offered a great variety of delicious options to start the day. Everything was fresh, well-stocked, and perfect for fueling up before heading out.

Bayfront Hotel Capitol is a great hotel. The staff are kind, hospitable and are very guest centric. The rooms have ample space, the pool deck, gym, restaurant and the location of the hotel provide convenience for all travelers. I stayed here for 10 nights.

Items I would suggest management to take into consideration are the linens, towels and rugs. They are old, discolored and have a feel of being dirty due to the discoloration and a lack of thread count.

The morning and evening shift security guards are very kind and helpful so are the front desk agents, pool and restaurant staff.

I especially want to call out Renalyn, the housekeeper on the 17th floor and the pool deck server on Sunday 7/4 PM are so great.

I will stay here again however I might bring my own sheets and towels.

Showers do not have doors to keep the water from flooding tonthe rest of the toilet. You have to put a towel on the floor to prevent the water from going out of the shower area.
There is no sitting area in the hotel lobby.
The buffet is toonexpensicve qith too limited food and totally bad food.
The staff
are not properly trained. One staff stopped my daughter from meeting my visitor from going inside amd.telling her that he was afraid that she.mighr eat.
The frontdesk won't give a bag left at the front desk from my errand boy becasue there was no stub. How could she get the stub when the staff who receive the bag did not give any.
Restaurant is too mpisy during dinner becausenthey have a loud entertainer and the plaxe is too small.
Villing system is obsolete. They will ask you to fill up and sign 3 copies of receipt ecerytime there is a bill

Worst customer service hotel seen better days

Worst customer service ever said free breakfast here the hotel said no made us pay the customer service was terrible the hotel may have been 4 stars once now has seen better days 1st room was smelly dirty dusty we asked to moved it was better the 1st room all night you could hear the traffic they made us pay 1256 pesos for breakfast was supposed to be free it was ok but nothing to right home about will never stay here again I have stayed in Cebu many times this was the worst hotel experience better go to the quest, blue water the raddison bleu or waterfront never again here bade a complaint

Very nice, clean and modern hotel. Rooftop pool and a restaurant downstairs. The only minus is that is not very soundproof and you can hear some noise from outside as well as from the hallway through the door. Very good wifi and walking distance to shops and restaurants. I'd stay here again!
