Scruffy, tired but clean with friendly staff

We needed 3 days in a hotel b4 we could get into our apartment and booked this to put us over. I advised i wouldnt b there until after midnight due to late flight and asked for late arrival info. This was very poor and confused as i could only get them to communicate by texts. Details of a safe outside the hotel entrance were given and i was told my keycard along with others would be in there. I asked how i would know which room/key was mine but got no reply. When i arrived there was a notice with emergency contact info but when i rang it nobody answered. I opened the safe and there were 3 keycards. I took all 3 and had to guess which room was mine. Not very good.
The property and linen were clean and the staff were very polite and helpful but the rooms were very poor with old scuffed furniture and the loo seat was falling off. The pool area was quiet with nice sunbeds and shades. Carpark fine. I had a 2 bedroom apartment. The kitchen was very poor with old and worn equipnent that i didnt use. Very poorly appointed. Breakfast was extra at €12 but looked poor. I went to the local Apalonia supermarket and had a fab breakfast for less. Great restaurant next door called Floresta. Overall, this hotel is scruffy and overpriced. It was booked as an emergency but i wouldnt go back..

Our stay at WOT was excellent… property was clean, the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful- the continental breakfast was great.. the beaches were close by - 5 min drive…and shopping as well - 15 min drive.
Also our room had a kitchenette which we loved… with a beautiful spacious patio overlooking the pool.. loved it..

Pool wasn’t available despite being advertised. Most guests were workmen who made a lot of noise at 5:30 am. Very dated and in need of a refurb. However, very clean, comfortable beds and has all the essentials. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Awful - just awful!

We had booked a superior studio for a night prior to a flight home (using some Tesco Clubcard points). The location is close to the airport and staff on reception were helpful and friendly. Our room, however, was diabolical. I found three hairs in my bed (possibly animal), the air conditioner was dripping outside on the balcony and the smell of damp out there and in the room was intolerable and not healthy. We had to turn it off. The room was dated and furniture scuffed. The toilet seat was like spongy cardboard with all of the damage to it. So gross. Taped up fire blanket. Light switch on bathroom mirror hanging down on a loose cable. Bathroom over door heater rusting. Microwave oven that didn’t look safe. Because we had prebooked the room using Tesco Clubcard points we didn’t bother complaining as we wouldn’t have got a refund. Had to sleep with the door open because the air con smelt so bad and we had a dreadful nights sleep as there were cats fighting outside on and off all night. The pool looked ok but there were two taped cordoned off areas next to it that were unusable. Breakfast was ok and the staff were pleasanf. Just a horrible experience and we won’t be staying there again. Will attach photos!

Great location to get around. Although not near to the beach everything is close by in the car. Much quieter than staying in resorts or near to the beaches. Lovely beach of Loulé Velho just 6 minutes away in the car.

Great Place

Amazing staff and location.
The breakfast is great too - could do with additional hot food, but it still good.
Really good restaurants near by, in fact one right next door so don’t even have to look far.

The hotel is situated in a quiet and picturesque area. It is along a bus route, but the bus service is infrequent. However, Uber is readily available and affordable.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our apartment was clean and spacious. It had two balconies, with outdoor seating and space to dry laundry outside. It had good facilities which included a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven and crockery. There was a dining area inside the apartment and a TV with a selection of channels. My only criticism is that the outdoor pools and jacuzzi were not heated. It was still nice to sit on the sunbeds around the pool.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The apartment was surprisingly large and had 2 balconies, both with tables and chairs. The rooms were comfortable and clean
The air conditioning did not work effectively in the bedroom and there was a lot of noise from above and along the corridor (group of lads)
and the kitchen was not well equipped, but adequate.
The pool was a good size and very clean. The pool furniture was tired.

All amenities good, apartment a bit tired, sheets and towels were quite worn, but everything VERY clean and tidy I would not fault them atall on this. The apartment was very spacious and the only fault I would mention is that there was not a com fortable seat to sit on if in the apartment for an evening. A small oven would be nice.

Nice location, easy drive to restaurants and large room with comfy beds. Super clean and amazing shower pressure. Only downside was sounds insulation as could hear the reception area from my room. But overall a good stay, friendly staff and nice little breakfast with fresh baked croissants was a bonus.

Very comfortable and clean. Facilities are a bit dated and it is a simple hotel but very functional and the cleanliness is as good as anywhere - with ample parking. The pool is actually a very good one - in a large and exposed sunning area. The staff are excellent and the restaurant next door (and others withing walking distance) are as good as any in this section of Portugal.

Lovely hotel with a lovely pool.

We stayed here for 2 nights before travelling onto Fuseta. Our apartment was lovely, and we were glad to have the air con! The pool was quiet as most guests were out and about during the day. We didn't have a car, but there are a few good restaurants nearby within walking distance. Be warned there are no pavements....so be careful!!!

Fantastic customer service, extremely spacious room, car is highly recommended due to local area being rather scarce. However local amenities are within a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk. Local people really friendly and willing to help.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting friends that live nearby. The hotel was very clean and service was polite and efficient.
We haven't had the chance to use other facilities as we were there only to sleep and spend most of the day visiting other destinations and with friends.
We most certainly would recommend and would stay again.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel again quite hard to find on the sat nav as hotel address is wrong on expedia. Looked it up using other websites but then forgot on the day. Hotel staff very good as they had to wait up till 1.30am as our flight was delayed. would definitely stay there again.

You'll need a car!

Clean and quiet hotel, but off the beaten track. It was very close to the villa where my friends were staying, and a much cheaper option. It has a small plunge pool, and some space round the pool with sun loungers. Breakfast served on site, but thats the only time where you'll be able to buy anything on site.

There's a small shop 100 yards down the road, but don't expect to do a full shop there.

The restaurant next door is fantastic, offering a variety of fresh cooked food and some excellent wines.

Staff were all fantastic, and always there to help.

Would recommend again for my likitedbuse case, (close to friends), but not normally the type of place I would stay.

Excellent staff. Helpful and friendly. Rooms are a little dated, but what do you expect for the price.

The rooms and the pool are spotlessly clean. The whole site is very neat and tidy.

The breakfast was good quality for the money with home made cakes and jams every day and freshly baked rolls as pasties every day.

Stayed for two nights to complete a 10 day trip. Considering price this is a good budget hotel. Pool was excellent and reception staff very accommodating. Probably not ideal for longer stays as room a bit basic, it is a long time since I saw a cathode ray tube TV. It maybe that the larger rooms have better facilities we stayed in a double bedroom. Would certainly stay again.

Completely understated, much nicer than expected

From the minute we walked in, the receptionist was so welcoming and expected us. She couldn't be more obliging. When we saw the size of the room, we knew it could take an extra bed for one of our children, she made no problem of it at all. We felt welcome immediately. The beds and room were immaculate. There was a really good restaurant beside it, they were equally inviting and food very good. Breakfast next morning, continental and plenty of it, again food really good and spotless. Seemed to be family run. Pool area perfect for short stay. We stayed for one night and are.returning in two weeks for two nights. We are staying in algarve for over two weeks and needed accommodation.for one night before and two nights after. We are very happy to return to this hotel. If anyone is looking for a place to stay short term. This is the place to stay.

Address listed on hotels.com is incorrect. Suggest you obtain GPS coordinates or contact the hotel for the correct address. Hotel old, but clean. Not within walking distance to anything. A car is necessary. Significant noise in evening and morning. However, it is cheap and in this instance, you get what you pay for.
Julia's restaurant at the beach approx 2 - 3 km has excellent food and a fabulous view.

Réservation de dernière minute suite annulation vol par Transavia et séjour prolongé de manière imprévue.
Petit établissement familial. Les bâtiments dont ancien et simples mais bien entretenus.
L’atout est le joli jardin qui abrite une piscine agréable, une table de Ping Ping et d’autres jeux.
Le petit déjeuner est simple mais correct. Très grands balcons qui permettent de déjeuner et dîner dehors. La cuisine de notre chambre venait d’être refaite avec de l’électro-ménager tout neuf et de bonne qualité.
Petit bémol : l’isolation phonique entre les chambre est assez mauvaise.

Ich hatte ein Apartment für 4 Personen gebucht und wir waren mit Zimmer 206 sehr zufrieden. Gute Raumaufteilung mit 2 großen Balkonen, sehr schönes Bad und Küche -wir waren rundum zufrieden.
Sehr nettes Personal und ein ausreichendes inkludiertes Frühstück runden den durchweg positiven Eindruck perfekt ab.

We were arriving later than the usual check in time so we emailed in advance. The hotel staff were very communicative and even were staying up until we arrive. Luckily we got there earlier. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. The pool area is beautiful
