Rooms are good size for a family of 3/4.
We had a good time at the indoor playground and the acquashow park. The hotel gives you voucher to access the park everyday. Food Is also okay and the dinner buffet was really good.
Great parking and definitely Need a car to move around the location. Very close to nice towns and beaches (quarteira, vilamoura,)

It was modest but had all it needed. I was impressed by the lady who checked me in.
I'm a luxury hotelier myself. Well done!
The pool was comfortable.
The breakfast was okay. The complimentary access to next door indoor aquawater show park for 3 hours was very valuable.
All indoor pools at the hotel and at the park were heated and comfortable for the end of October visit.

Great hotel, fantastic staff

We had a great stay at the Aquashow Park Hotel. The staff were fantastic and helped us with everything that we needed. The hotel was clean, modern and had lots of things for us to do. It was also very convenient for the waterpark and we were able to take advantage of being hotel guests with useful things like towels and cheap lockers.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Aquashow Hotel. My daughter and I stayed there for 6-days. We were in Loulé for the Loulé cup that my daughter was competing in. The hotel is very clean and walking distance to the WAter park. There is a nice indoor and outdoor pool. The staff are very nice and accommodating, and the rooms are spacious. In addition, the breakfast and dinner buffet are delicious. Many great food options. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was amazing, from the communication before we arrived, right up until we checked out. The service we received from everyone was outstanding. I took my daughter on holiday before she starts secondary school, we enjoyed the hotel, the waterpark and all of the other excursions that the hotel helped us book.

Everyone was amazing, the cleaning staff, the bar staff, the restaurant staff and the staff on the front desk. There was one particular person working on the front desk who went above and beyond to help us get excursions booked and find a lot of activities that we could do both in and outside of the hotel. I wish she had of been working on the morning we checked out because she definitely deserved a tip. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families.

Great hotel and amenities. Great service, at a very affordable price, very very good value. Very clean and modern.

It may be a bit too close to the waterpark, there was always a tension between going to the waterpark and hanging out at the hotel and pool. Honesty the hotel would be great by itself!

Kids club - there is entertainment and great outdoor and indoor playgrounds but no amenity to check your kid in and they will watch. If the hotel had a kids club we would have paid extra, it is really missing that.

Transport:
For a european destination, very limited public transport and you will need to use bolt/uber or bring a rental car. This is because it’s principally a destination for the waterpark however, which it does very very well.

Not cheap as we had free to use aqua park which we didn’t use.
Room was generally tidy but mould round shower is unacceptable. Looked in a few other rooms while cleaning ladies in and much the same. Complained to reception and nothing down during our stay. Breakfast not great. Greasy bacon hard scrambled eggs poor sausages , otherwise ok

An excellent hotel-theme park combo with a good food range, nicely sized hotel rooms, a well stocked bar, two clean pools, and more. One of the waiting/bar staff (a fellow with a beard and longish hair we never learned the name of) is absolutely fantastic with children and in making cocktails.

The only negative is the often cacophonous volume of the music at the outdoor bar requiring shouting to place orders.

Everything else has been superb, especially in terms of the help the staff provided when one of us got a little ill and required medical supplies from their first aid kit.

Would definitely stay again.

The dinner at this hotel was amazing. I had a plate of food that was actually outstanding. The only issue we had was there was mold in the shower. It was not the staff doing. The room was very clean. It was just the shower had mold in it.

The hotel is great for young families all year round with the indoor heated pool & soft play area. The outdoor pool was a little cold when we stayed in April . The staff are all friendly & attentive & we found some great restaurants in walking distance by asking at reception & taxi drivers.

We stayed off season and the outdoor waterpark was closed for the season. But this hotel is very convenient to get around the Algarve from Tavern to Lagos, Especially Quartiera and Villamoura area. You will need a car though as it is about 4km from Quarteira and 2-3KM from the Train station in Loule. There is a bus stop and food within walking distance. The hotel was clean, the internet was good, and the on site restaurant was good for breakfast and a quick dinner. When the outdoor water park is full I'm sure this hotel is hopping.

Amazing for families

I didn’t expect to much of a hotel in a water park but I was totally wrong and so surprised. Everything was perfect and also when the staff for example missed and ordered wrong food to my son they really was sad, apologised and gave him a free ice cream after.

It’s only 3 minutes walk to the water park and you can entrance as many times as you want during your stay, also both the day you arrive and the day you leave.

Book with the buffet options, it’s a very fresh buffe and it’s cheaper to book it in advance. It’s both starters, mains, desserts, cheeses and cold cuts. It’s also a play room for children and my 4,5 year old boy loved it. The price was very low compared to ex Martinhal Sagres as we also like so the value for money was excellent.

We will definitely go back with friends and the Portugueses had towels, umbrellas, beers, wines, food etc with them in the park and it’s an great option for the first day. It’s more or less like they was at the beach just relaxing. It’s a lot of rollercoaster for older children and teenagers so the whole family can really have fun. Also shows with parrots, snakes etc.

Also the restaurants in the park had good quality of food and the hotel had also a gym and gaming room for older children.

Our last night our waiter in the restaurant gave my son an extra surprise and we will go back as soon we have friends visiting us.

Descanso merecido resultou em estadia desastrosa

Já fiquei por diversas vezes neste hotel e nunca tinha acontecido tal situação. Tirei uns dias para descanso com a minha esposa e não consegui usufruir, muito pelo contrário. O hotel tinha cerca de 100 pessoas alojadas de etnia cigana e ninguém consegue imaginar o que se passou, desde barulho infernal até altas horas até merd... nas paredes das casas de banho comuns. Falei com os funcionários que me disseram que já não era a 1ª vez e que não podiam entrar em confronto, logo, cediam a tudo. No dia do check out tentei falar com a gerência para mostrar o meu desagrado, pois não consegui o descanso a que me propus. Deixei informação no balcão para me contactarem, e até hoje nada. No minimo deveriam ter creditado estes dias na minha conta, ou, a devolução do dinheiro.

Hotel is in an excellent position for traveling throughout the algarve. Is not near a noisy area and there are plenty of good restaurants close by. Unfair to be critical in Covid-19 period regarding amenities as most were mothballed to a degree. Staff were very helpful.

The place was quiet and hotel is good for family! Location isn’t great, shops restaurants and beach is far from hotel and you would need to take a taxi. Hotel does have a shuttle to take you to the beach but you have to be at the shuttle for 10 and leave beach at 16:45. I loved the room, bed was so comfortable and room was spacious. I slept very well.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my parents and they loved it. The feedback i got from them, is very clear that they loved it. The rooms were very clean nice indoor pool and clean jacuzzi. The other thing really liked was the coach that the hotel provides to take their guests to the local city centre and the beach. Mum is already looking to go back with all of us.

Very very child friendly ! A little soft play in the waiting area . Very friendly staff . We took Half board and loved our meals. Have to mention a fantastic person C.Ronaldo who took care of us every dinner, making sure every little detail ( plastic glass for 2 yr old etc ) is taken care of . Many restaurants near by as well , Quarteira beach like 5 mins in shuttle.
Cost us £10 for Villamoura. Nice indoor pool , jacuzzi, everything always clean.
The big water park was closed when we visited, would love to go again when it’s open. Kids & adults both will enjoy.

Spacious rooms, plenty of parking, modern, clean. Free access to the Aquapark next door! Friendly helpful staff and good choice at breakfast. Great for families. Only criticisms being that it's situated on a busy main road with no shops nearby and about 3 miles inland from the beach.

Evening entertainment was much to late and very loud. Much better to finish at 10 so with small kids can get an early night now and again. Kids running up and down to corridors late at night this spoil our stay as couldn't get a good night sleep the whole time not very relaxing. Sunbeds were always taken. Great food. Perfect for you and the kids!

It was just myself and my son. We had a fabulous time! The staff just wanted to make your stay as easy as possible and with free access to the amazing waterpark, it meant we could duck in and out when we wanted, alongside relaxing by the very clean pool.

Nice small clean modern hotel with nice staff.
Swimming pool is small and there is no real activities to get involved with.
Evening entertainment is a poor standard.
Evening meal choices were limited.
Location is in a residential area on the outskirts of a small town. Nothing other than the water park in the surrounding area. Lidl is 45min walk if you get tired of paying £2 for a can of coke or small bottle of water.
A free bus leaves at 9am and returns at 430pm. This will take you to Quarteira and Vilamoura.
We had a nice holiday and there were no issues, but the hotel would benefit from a more active pool scene.

Fantastic water park hotel

We stayed as a family of three (2 adults 1 almost 11 year old) for a week (arrived Monday 28 August 2017). Our 2nd floor room was spacious and plenty big enough for a week long stay. The balcony faced the water park, getting the sun first thing and welcome shade in the afternoon. Air conditioning was effective and no charged as an extra fee. We stayed bead and breakfast and although the food was the same each day, we had plenty to eat and the quality was very good. The rooms, dining area and pool were all exceptionally clean (rooms were cleaned daily/fresh towels etc.) There were plenty of sun loungers around the pool and the indoor pool was beautifully warm. Staff ensured the pools were immaculate. Access to the water park was included with our stay and as we had a wristband, we could avoid the long queues entering. The water park has is fantastic and there was plenty for all ages. It was busiest at the weekends but even then, we were able to get loungers and the longest queues were about 30 minutes. Food and drinks on site were typical fast food fayre and priced as you would expect. Many people took their own food and drink along. Lockers are available to rent and easily accessible.

Modern family hotel + water park tickets!

The hotel was great, just what we needed to feed and entertain an 8 yr old and 14 yr old as well as being able to relax.
It was modern with all the facilities you would expect but in better condition than you would expect - a big pool, an indoor pool with jacuzzi, pool/air hockey room, clean restaurant for self serve breakfast and all rooms have a balcony.
We stayed on a bed & breakfast rate and ordered lunch and dinner round the pool bar a few times. Whilst it's a little cheaper to eat outside the hotel, the menu really catered for fussy children where local restaurants don't so well. Breakfast had a large selection.
There's two restaurants within walking distance which are cheaper and nice but not a lot else.
We got an uber to Quarteira beach a few times and picked up supplies at a supermarket before getting an uber back. It cost approx €5 each way.
Vilamoura was approx €13 and €17 each way in the evening - a must see but can be quite pricey.
The airport was €20 each way which was cheaper than the hotel booked transfer (that didn't turn up!) so I'd definitely recommend uber unless you're renting a car.
Last but not least, the free entry to Aquashow Park sold this hotel to us initially and definitely didn't disappoint. It is more than your usual water park with a rollercoaster ride, water rides for all ages & some smaller theme park rides. It was fairly quiet when we went (end of May half term) so next to no queues. We went for a few hours each day which was perfect

Just back from 5 nights at the Aquashow Park Hotel, excellent hotel all round. Spotlessly clean everywhere, rooms, public areas, pool area etc. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. We mainly ate in the hotel, pool bar menu was very good and great value, restaurant menu was excellent and again great value (we ate from the menu not the dinner buffet). Breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of choice. Will definitely return again. If we found one fault it is that the air con in the rooms wasn't efficient, we mentioned it to reception but didn't improve while we were there, hence, not enough sleep due to heat.

Hotel was extremely clean and staff were always happy to help in any situation. We arrived early but our room was ready and were able to start relaxing straightaway. The ability to get free access to the water park was our main reason to stay at this resort and we made sure we took advantage of this. Water park was amazing, highly recommended!! However we also took advantage of free bus service into Villamoura where we went on a dolphin safari. The breakfast was a good layout with good variety but the evening buffet was mixed. Some days it was lovely but other days we went out for dinner. I recommend the Agosthos restaurant it was a 2 min walk from the resort and brilliant food with excellent value. All in all a brilliant trip with great staff and clean rooms! willl definitely stay again!

Good break

Had a lovely 4 night break at the aquashow, staff very helpful and always polite. The breakfast was very good and we had snacks for lunch reasonable prices and adequate for our needs. The water park was closed during our stay but that was not a problem for us although it did look fabulous. The hotel is a bit out of the way but we used the complementary hotel transport to go into Vilamoura and quarteria in the day and used uber in the evening. We would go back again and it would be fantastic for families with children when the water park is open.

Spotlessly clean hotel with friendly staff.

I would definitely recommend this hotel but it is not within walking distance to a town. It's fine if you are prepared to get taxis or hire a car. If you just want to chill at the hotel and not go far it would be okay. Breakfast was good and snacks and drinks at the bar were also good. We didn't have an evening meal.
The rooms were spotless as was the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is gorgeous which we could not fault. The water park was not open which we were aware of so that was fine. Food was a standard abroad breakfast, lunch and dinner was reasonably priced. The alcohol was amazing value for money. highly recommend the long Island ice tea! We were fortunate enough to have a car so the location was fine however it may be difficult without one if you wanted to leave the hotel. Hotel online said there was a shuttle bus but we were not told about it, didn't ask though as like I said we had a car. Indoor and outdoor pool so if it was windy we still had a good choice in things to do. Always had parking avaliable. My only recommendation would be evening entertainment or music to create an atmosphere. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, loved our balcony!!

Had a great stay at the hotel, lovely room, fantastic balcony. Always sun loungers available no queues at breakfast. Loved the water park.
Would to good to have someone monitoring unruly behaviour of children in the indoor pool and an entrance from the hotel to the waterpark would be beneficial!

Nice and clean hotel with lovely staff

I stayed here for a week with my son and from the day I arrived, the staff were friendly and very accommodating. Having unlimited access to the water park was an added bonus. It was the perfect place for children and you can't help but get excited as an adult aswell. Everytime we left the room to go out, we would come back to find it had been cleaned without fail. The housekeeping was always on point.

The food at the hotel was quite limited and I don't feel as though the buffet was worth the price. However, there are two restaurants that are literally a 3 minute walk from the hotel and the food is reasonably priced and tastes fine.

I definitely plan to return again in future.

Great family friendly hotel. Highly recommend

Really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. Nice hotel with decent sized inside and outside pools. Although the hotel was busy, the pools were never crowded and we could always get a sun lounger. We were lucky to get rooms on the 1st floor overlooking the pool with the extra large balconies. Plenty of free parking (suggest use the underground one as our car door got dented when left outside). Friendly staff and decent, cheap meals available poolside during the day.
Other than waterpark next door, hotel isn't in walking distance to any beaches etc however they do run a bus service to the Marina at Vilamoura which is pretty with lots of shops and restaurants. We had a rental car which we used a lot. Also nearby is a Praia de Falesia which is a fantastic beach, much larger and nicer than the beach at Albuferia which we visited for a day. Prais de Falesia is much better for kids (sea is calmer) and there is plenty of free parking nearby, however parking is generally overflowing by 10am so get there early.
Great having waterpark next door to hotel but minimum height for most rides is 1.2m. For smaller kids there is a very good pool with slides for them (however on our last day we did spot a poo in it!). Opens at 10am but by 11 the queues are ridiculous (30mins min for each slide) which took the shine off it. Also have reptile and birds of prey shows on during the day which was good.

If you're looking for a family holiday...

I've literally just come back from my stay here and it was amazing. I went as a sole traveller for the first time in order to try something new and I love how helpful the staff were. I didn't speak the language and the only word I learnt throughout the whole trip was \"obrigado\" which I hope means \"thank you\", but this didn't matter as most people spoke English as well as Portuguese.

I say it's great for families as the hotel comes along with an all access type ticket to visit the Aquapark water park whenever you like throughout your trip.

This means parents can visit the park numerous times without breaking the bank and don't have to worry about paying for travel to get to and from the park. It's great!

There's also loads of excursions to choose from: from jet skiing to parasailing to dolphin watching to safari to dirt bugging - it's awesome. And the weather....amazing!

All in all the hotel was fab, the Algarve itself is fantastic and I would go again, maybe with my family or a couple of friends next time.

Excellent hotel, especially for a short stay

The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. It's main 'attraction' for me was not the waterpark, (which is included in the price and is excellent), but it's staff. They rescued us by sending my daughter's mobile phone in a taxi, to the airport when we realised two hours before departure that she had unfortunately left it in the room!
Food at the hotel was reasonable and there were local restaurants a short stroll away from the hotel.
Two drawbacks are that there is no free wifi in the rooms (but it was free in reception). Also, (apart from the restaurants and waterpark), there is little else to do near to the hotel. This didn't stop us though - in four days we rested, visited the beach ( there is a free bus from the hotel), shopped, went to the cinema, used the local buses and ate more than we should. It was a great short break!

Great stay

Would recommend this hotel to friends but it's a taxi ride to the local beach or towns would recommend using the local taxi rather than hotel service as it is about 5-10 euros cheaper everytime. Overall hotel was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. You get access to the water park next door which is a great day out.
