We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment as a couple and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Well positioned, lovely staff cared for the apartments and also the staff at the 7g Roaster cafe where breakfast was served each morning, bring plentiful and tasty. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, had everything that was required for our stay, contemporary and modern.
So glad that a friend recommended this property for our stay and I’d always stay here again when returning, thank you xx

Loved our stay at this place!

It was a very nice place within walking distance of all major sights in Porto and Gaia. Friendly staff and good communication with the place throughout the booking. They gave us options for parking which was very helpful. Breakfast was good. It was surprisingly quiet at night considering location.

Great location and all the staff was lovely and helpful. I would recommend apartment B2 as we had a fabulous view over river and breakfast was included which coffee was the star of the show. Down side was glass bathroom but not an issue for a couple but could cause privacy issues within the apartment for some guests.

Friendly staff, excellent modern rooms, great shower (pressure, heads, cleanliness, temperature), comfortable linens and amazing breakfast. Our only complaint was their cleaning product had a scent that was too powerful. We had to air out the room, but that was easy as the windows are enourmous!

Modern and clean hotel 15 minutes walk to center of Porto across the river one row behind river front. Has everything that is needed for a short stay. Great breakfast in the adjacent roastery. Would highly recommended.

The roaster it is attached to is the best coffee in town. We loved the breakfast and usually try not to stay at places where it's include but it's perfect here. The room was large and comfortable with lovely views and an interesting entrance experience with the elevator opening directly into the room. Only drawback was the shower is an open plan so it was hard to keep the rest of the bathroom dry. Would definitely stay here again especially if we visit with our
son because it was very kid friendly.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Vila Nova Gaia. Had everything you needed for a stay. Breakfast was served in the coffee shop, which was abundant and fresh. Staff is very nice.

Loved staying at 7g. The breakfast and coffee shop was lovely and convenient. Lots of shopping and dining right on the river. Staying in Gaia is more quiet and less crowded than the Porto side. Bridge is easy to take over the river.

We stayed in apartment 3B with the river view. Place is very clean, has anything you need. Breakfast cafe is right at the property and serves tasty coffee, juice, eggs, meats, cheese, pancakes, yogurt and granola. Apartment is closed to the pedestrian bridge to cross the river, restaurants, bars and Port wine tasting spots. If you are light sleeper, the noise from the streets and seagulls may bother you!
Management and reception team were very nice and provided us with a big breakfast basket before our early check out time!

The 7G was in a prime location. Our room had big windows facing Porto and the Douro River. It was also super soundproofed, allowing for a restful sleep. Breakfast at 7G Roaster was delicious. We parked the rental car in the Centro Historico parking garage at a discounted rate and only left once for a day trip to Aveiro since we did not want to drive in Porto or Gaia. The room was a modern mini-oasis after walking around all day.

The apartment itself is very spacious, lots of power outlets that are easily accessible. Toilet / shower area is also very clean, although the overhead shower is slightly lacking in pressure. The owner is also very kind and polite in explaining how to access the apartment after \"official hours\". The walls are slightly thin, so you can actually hear it when the occupants next door are running up the stairs (you won't be able to hear it if they just walk normally). The apartment is also very near the river and restaurants so it is very easily accessible. It is also just 5 mins away from the bridge to cross to the other side of the river. There are some options for the complimentary breakfast, and I really liked the scrambled eggs and croissant. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at 7g Roaster Apartment and I would recommend staying here if you are looking for an apartment-style room.

The location of the apartment was lovely staying so close to the downtown area of the river. As long as you don't mind an uphill walk to the nearest metro station, this is a great spot. Close to many restaurants, bars, port caves, and river boat tours.
The appartment itself is very modern with lovely clean decor, a private balcony, good air conditioning units and comfortable bed.
The coffee shop downstairs served delicious breakfast and the hotel staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Catia on the front reception desk. She ensured that everything was smooth for our stay and offered lots of assistance and pointers.
The only criticism is that the check in time is fairly restricted, however the reception staff did contact me to let me know when the room was ready for us to check in slightly before check in time.

A little modern gem located at a walking distance of the city, absolutely perfect to discover Gaia and Porto! There is a coffee restaurant attached to the appartments that completes the refurbished and comfortable vibes of the complex. Cherry on top was the kindness and availability of the staff, we had a genuinely amazing stay!

I loved everything about this place. It was perfect. Check in worked out great despite a late check in. The apartment was a lovely, modern, thoughtful, beautiful gem of a space. We were a family of 4 with 2 kids. Everyone loved the space. It was comfortable, calm, and clean. The design aesthetic was full of details that made you both feel welcome and feel like a special guest.

We liked being on the Gaia side which was close to all the port tasting caves, and was a minute’s walk to the river and restaurants. Porto was a short, enjoyable walk across the bridge.
The included breakfast was very delicious at 7g. The coffee, food, and service were superb. The cafe is quite popular so you will need to wait along with other diners for a table at busier times.
The staff was super friendly and made our visit a delight. We could not recommend this place more highly, especially if you’re there for port tasting. It is close to all the caves.

I don’t generally write reviews, but it was one of our favorite hotel stays in the world, so I felt I must write one. And if we ever come back to Porto, we would stay here again.

We had a great stay in January, great location right near the river, with the food market, WOW world of wine, the cable car all a few minutes walk away. 10/15 minute walk across the bridge to Porto.
Be prepared Porto is very hilly!

Apartment was great, clean and spacious! First time booking an apartment for us but we loved the extra space compared to a hotel. Staff were always really helpful too.
Breakfast was nice too, you choose from a menu rather than a buffet so it’s fresh!

Lovely trip to Porto

We stayed for 3 nights and was amazed by the quality of the apartment. The apartment was perfect and offered lovely views and is only minutes away from the Luís I Bridge and many restaurants. We loved the egg chairs and enjoyed relaxing in them whilst listening to the street performers close by. The breakfast is also great and guests get 10% disc in the cafe. Overall a very nice stay.

Parking was a hiccup. I wished she just said parking is by Hilton and if we pay ahead we would get a discount. Also know streets are VERY narrow.

7groaster apartments were excellent. The space was clean, well equipped and modern with very comfortable beds. They were really helpful and kept in touch, answering my queries promptly. The cafe downstairs was fantastic, serving great breakfasts and delicious coffee. Located just off the main street in Gaia, close to all the port houses and attractions as well as being just a short walk from the centre of Porto, the apartments were very convenient. I would definitely book with them again.

This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Right from the moment we booked we were given help. Our taxi was booked for us to and from the airport. The staff are amazing and are so friendly and helpful.
The apartment was spotless. The breakfast was delicious. The apartment is situated right beside all the restaurants, market stalls and cable cars.
We would definitely recommend and would love to go back again.

7g Roaster Apartments was a truly amazing stay. My husband and I stayed here for vacation, and we definitely would like to stay here again if we visit Porto in the future. The building was beautiful, and the rooms were clean as they were in the photos. The cleaning services are amazing, and the staffs were very friendly. 7g also provides breakfast downstair at the cafe, and the food was delicious too! The atmosphere here is great, and we feel very safe around this neighborhoods. We could see Porto from this side every day, and it was beautiful. I definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely brilliant. So clean, quiet and welcoming and well located. The breakfast and Roastery are a huge plus and the quiet courtyard feels serene and romantic at night.

The staff behind the front desk were super understanding and helpful and accommodated every ask. Clean modern rooms are a little understated (and could use some USB charging plugs for us millenials) but fundamentally were clean, nicely designed and well laid out.

Historic and wonderful - a challenge for the Uber!

Absolutely gorgeous place, set a few minutes walk from the Douro and full of history! Our space was clean, comfortable and the finishing touches were perfect. Make sure you factor in it takes a while for an Uber to find you if you're not wanting to walk into Porto Centre - those narrow one way streets took some learning but we got there in the end!

Beautiful apartments and incredibly helpful

A lovely little oasis in the middle of Gaia! The apartment was immaculate and sleekly designed, and check-in was a breeze. I only stayed for one night but would have loved to stay longer.

I especially appreciated a representative of the property going above and beyond to rescue me from a pickle I found myself in at 1am on the night of my stay. I had parked in the unmarked garage across the street, which I didn’t realize is private parking for a nearby restaurant and is locked from ~10pm-10am daily. I had a flight at 6am and my rental car was locked inside this garage. This gentleman managed to find a key so that I could get my car back and not miss my flight.

This hotel surpassed my expectations. The room was beautiful and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Loved the breakfast options and thought we were on the best side of the river as we got to wake up to the beautiful view of Ribeira every morning. Location was absolutely spot-on. Fantastic apartment along the riverfront yet perfectly quiet. Little gift of coffee. New, clean and comfortable with great kitchen if you want to cook yourself (we didn’t!). Fab breakfast included. Staff really friendly and helpful. Close parking. Laundromat around the corner. Restaurants everywhere. Walk to transport. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend this place.

Fab location near the river bank yet so quiet. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Large, new, fully contained apartment with everything you need. We had booked for 2 nights but stayed an extra night because we loved it so much. Included breakfast in the cool café downstairs part of the complex. Parked close by at €12 a day. So many restaurants to choose from along the river and easy to get around. Really enjoyed our stay here.

This was a very unique apartment. We had a late arrival so we contacted the apartments via email. They gave us instructions how to get in and where to find our key once we arrived since no one would be there. Excellent communication. The apartment was clean and modern. Nice kitchen and delicious coffee. The building is connected to the 7g Roaster cafe and that's where the included breakfast was served. Lots of fresh croissants and rolls, cheese and ham, fresh orange juice, great cappucinos, fruit and yogurt. Wonderful service. Also, the young man in the main office was very helpful with directions and recommendations for things to see. We had a view on the river - very nice. The location is fine if you like to walk a lot. You must walk across the bridge to get to the city center and several historical places. The other option is to hike from the apartment all the way up to the metro stop (10 minute walk). Ask for good directions. There's a great view up there and you can take the metro very easily from there. Close to the apartment are the porto cellars and also the Mercado (market with lots of food choices, beers, and wines). Lots of great food in Porto, including the francesinhas and pastel da natas.

Close to all of it yet peaceful and relaxing. The combined coffee shop next to the apartments has some of the best coffee I’ve enjoyed in Spain, Italy, or Portugal. The folks who run and work this place are outstanding.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The room was will lit with natural light from the two windows and adequate electric lights. The kitchenette was also well stocked with all the cooking utensils needed to prepare late night snacks or early breakfast. The location is perfect right along the river and a few minutes walk from Porto. The receptionist Susana was so helpful even offering us a converter to charge our phones. She was also able to offer helpful tips for getting around town ordering us taxis and reminding us to get breakfast delivered the night before if we would leaving early. We will be visiting again.

Great spot in Vila Nova Gaia - some rooms have slight river views. Every day the property offers breakfast from 9:30-11am and the food is substantive and I loved the croissants especially. If you had to leave the property before breakfast they deliver your breakfast fixings the evening before. This property is literally steps from the main port houses in Gaia and is a quiet alternative to staying in main Porto. Views of Porto from Gaia side are incredible. Rooms are well equipped and furnished with modern touches. Only downside is bathrooms for double rooms were small and lacked counter space.

Great stay in beautiful apartment

Great stay! Highly recommend staying with 7G. The apartment was in great shape, spacious, very clean, and we liked the location. Breakfast and wifi were also great.

The only two things to be aware of:
The location isn't initially easy to find. We came into Porto via bus and ended up using two cabs plus walking. The first cabbie didn't even get us close (though he also had no gps or phone available!). The second driver got us close but still did not take us to the door and we had to ask for directions nearby before we found it. This is for a couple of reasons. First is that it is a very small street in a restricted traffic area so you can't easily drop off directly on the street. The second reason is confusion about the address. Hotels.com lists the address as on Rua de Franca while in reality it is Rua de França.
Breakfast doesn't start until 9:30AM (though you can request they drop off breakfast in your apartment the night before by about 5PM if you want to go out earlier).

Renovated modern conversion, good location for area, self-contained amenities. Private lift access. Can be cold even with heater on, not well insulated for cold weather. Corridor clear glass panel bathroom lacks privacy, a curtain would help. Good strong shower but water gets everywhere, design fault, looks nice but not fully practical. Otherwise would be 5*.
