we were happy with everything, cleanliness, AC etc, they're not massive rooms, but perfect for location and getting to places.. we parked in the car park, there was a bit of confusion with regards the parking, they (the hotel)validated our chip and it was more than if we'd stayed and payed normally, but we got it sorted by the guy in the parking, no discount, but all good.. and then we left the car overnight and the price and validation worked fine.. we'll be wiser next time.. not complaining, just mentioning it..

It was very basic! Table with no chairs, small bed and decent size bathroom. Also damp from a previous leak notable in the ceiling paintwork.
Unfortunately my plug in the sink was jammed - someone was due to look at it whilst we was out (they didn’t) so I was just given an alternative room - exactly the same layout. Quite clean generally.
For what we paid, couldn’t ask for more really.

A nice budget hotel in central Sheffield. Really quiet during my stay. The lounge area was a big plus.
While the room was tidy and sink/ toilet clean, it could have used a bit more thorough attention to remove splash and scuff marks on the walls and mirror.

Thankfully a friend had another room his partner could not attend so we used his spare pillow and returned it to the room in the morning. We did not mention it so nothing staff could have done we just opted for the easy way as we were pushed for time.

Room clean and tidy - a bit compact but this is a budget hotel. Bathroom actually a nice size with good shower and nice towels.

Rest of the hotel was nice , clean and tidy - if you are in Sheffield for a night and just need somewhere to crash , this ticks all the boxes.

TBH, exceeded expectations for the price - friendly staff, easy check-in - room was fine if basic; for two people, be aware the bed is against one wall, so may require a little agility to get out at night!! Breakfast was excellent; will use again!

Staff weren't really interested when we checked in. Room was extremely basic. No spoon to make tea, no bin in room.
Bed was absolutely worn out and very uncomfortable. So bad, we had to use pillows down the middle to stop us rolling into each other. Duvet too small.
On the plus side, it was very clean, but definitely wouldn't come back.

Room very small so can’t pass each other in the room easily. Sink blocked took a very long time to drain. Staff weren’t exactly welcoming. Reception not easy to find since it’s a shelf unit!
On the plus side. Room was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. To sum up, I would stay again since it’s cheap. You get what you pay for !

Pros - location close to city centre & price. Room was clean apart from some mould growth on the shower tile grouting

We didn't use any of the facilities e.g. bar or restaurant but it all seemed good

Cons - if the air con is going to turn off after a short period of time at least provide an opening window to let some air in!
Rooms were very compact to the point it was uncomfortable (we had the single bed pulled down as well as the double).
Very little storage space - shelf wasn't even wide enough to cover the base of the kettle - this should be reviewed for safety reasons.
Who designed where the electrical sockets were positioned? Luckily, I always take a short extension lead otherwise there would have been a few conversations with the front desk required.
No parking but we managed to book a space a private car park next door at a very reasonable price.
Would we recommend this hotel? Yes - providing you are prepared for the budget aspect. It would therefore have helped if better information was available so you pack a fan and extension lead, for example

Room was tiny. Bed was pushed up against a wall so couldn't get in/out.
Only 2 coat hangers, no hooks so nowhere to put clothes.
Mattress needed replacing as was dipped in the middle.
Probably a bit too basic for us, will pay a little more and stay elsewhere next time.
Bedding was clean as was bathroom. Shower ok. Soap dispenser was incorrectly fitted which I corrected.

Very clean room basic as it is a budget hotel modern facilities. I was in room 507 very odd positioning of the bed it was facing the window rammed against the wall odd okay but the TV is a vocal point in all room it was directly on the opposite side on the right as you walked in , so you would be laying there side on surly getting neck ache and bad back. So what we did turned the bed facing the TV and both of us had access to both sides of and myself could reach the side lighting. So hopefully someone that reads this from the hotel will take it on board.

I had a dirty bottom sheet on my bed, and when I told reception about this, I was told that because housekeeping had gone home no one could do anything about it. No one asked if I'd like to change rooms, so instead I asked for someone to come and bring me a bottom sheet, so I could change the bed myself. Reluctantly they did this, but as a guest I shouldn't be expected to put fresh bedding on myself. A disappointing stay again.

During my stay my rest was disturbed by:
- a family with young children allowing the children to run around shouting in the corridor. This was late evening and early morning.
- you club goers were slamming doors at 05:30 which woke me up. Can door soft close mechanisms be checked?
During my stay I used the bar and dining services. I was shocked to find bar drinks being served in plastic disposable cups. If there is security risks at the hotel then security staff should be employed at key hours to manage the risk, not just remove potential weapons.
The staff at the hotel were amazing.

First Room we had was clean and tidy, but the aircon was not working. Raised it with the staff and they gave us a fan straight away and arranged for us to change rooms for the rest of the stay.

Second room was perfect, was clean and tidy as well and had everything you would expect, breakfast was good as well.

Staff that really make it, aways friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome for the length of our stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, the room was clean and bed was comfy. We had breakfast on the first day but didn’t bother going back the 2nd day. The only thing that let this hotel down was the staff. There was no one to check us in when we arrived and was told to wait. We waited for around 20 minutes (along with another couple that had been there longer) before the person that could check us in arrived. And on the first day when having breakfast a young girl asked my husband a serious question and then laughed at the answer with another colleague. I understand this is a “budget hotel” but there is no need for rude staff.

Parking charge advertised as £8 per day at “nearby car park” price was actually £11 per day and car park was a 15min trek through the city centre. Much closer car parks available with cheaper rates if booked online.

Breakfast was additional £11.50 and hot items were of low quality (beans, sausages) and there was NO BACON! Just beans, sausage and scrambled eggs. Go to local cafe at Waitrose for cheaper better quality.

Room was basic as expected and clean, bathroom had limited toiletries- bring your own the bottle of hand, hair, body wash all in one similar to a cheap washing up liquid.

Location on busy road and very difficult to navigate after dark.

Stayed here while in town for a game at Bramall Lane. Staff were friendly and helpful where they could be.

No gluten-free beer options, which was a bit disappointing (I know not many people will be gluten-free, but it’s something worth considering).

Check-in was a little slow when the place was busy. The price was good, but the “triple room” was tiny — barely space to swing a cat. I’ve stayed before and the room was definitely much bigger that time.

The hotel was clean, well located, and the downstairs lobby area is nice. Main downsides for me were the lack of beer options and the very small room — it really was that small.
