The bedroom was clean, cool and comfortable, with a very good Freeview television unlike other hotels in Sheffield!
The bathroom was very clean with a powerful shower, although the flush on the loo needed a lot of strength.
The pool was clean and staff very helpful, with generous towel width.
Noise was a factor as even early on Sunday morning there seemed to be a live band nearby.
Breakfast was less than ideal with no gluten free options, table spoons given to eat cereal with and only fried eggs on offer as the egg option.
Reception looked as though it was under siege with the ceiling opposite held up by two wooden struts. As customers had to pass under this ceiling to reach the lifts, the sense of having the building on top of one's head was palpable.
