We stayed in what's called a deluxe apartment. I wouldn't call it deluxe. It's very obvious that the building has been converted from commercial use to hotel / apartment accommodation. The decor or lack of and the layout look very corporate and nothing has been done to make it homely. The living area was huge abd the sofa had been pushed against the opposite wall to the TV to disguise the fact that it was broken. It was a sofa bed abd if it was moved away from the wall, the back fell down. It also looked stained and dirty. The huge bathroom had no window or extractor fan so the whole room felt damp after a shower. There was nowhere to get ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom. It literally felt like they'd put a bed and a sofa in and called it a deluxe apartment. There was no hotel information in the room and we were not warned about the weekly alarm checks. Located well to get the train into Belfast but wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend

I was offered to stay in an apartment which was a strange experience as it lacked soul and character. I think it was on a corridor where other apartments were occupied by owners/ tenants who were permanently staying there.

The attidtude of the bar staff was appauling. Service with a smile was definitely non exsistent- personality of a gold fish comes to mind. We sat at a free table with no reserved sign before one of the female staff came over and told us we only had 10 minutes before we had to move. Another member of staff came over and lifted our drinks from the table, he told my partner i give them to him but I in fact give him empty glasses and he took the rest when i was talking to my friend. The rooms are meant to be sound proof - this is not the case. I could hear music from downstairs and people talking outside our room to the early hours. Horrible horrible ignorant people- we will never be back!

Room was comfortable and clean. Lovely bathroom. The only thing that stopping me giving it 5 stars was that breakfast wasnt great. They operated a buffett style but the hot items weren't hot enough and the plates weren't heated. We did however have a lovely evening meal in the restaurant one day of our stay. The bar area was also great with great music.

Hotel management walked in on wife getting out of shower,{ I wasn't there at time} She had to grab for a towel, he didn't knock before hand, only after she called out , then he knocked, saying he was doing room inspection?? Live music was fine in bar, but it was way too loud in Restaurant, I couldn't hear my wife talking to me, across the table, so had to go and sit beside her, for conversation, Breakfast , we had to ask for milk to be refilled, even then they didn't fill it up enough, as we needed it for our cereal, and Tea, Staff need to keep checking if Breakfast item needs top up.

We stayed at the Haslem Hotel over the weekend and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had requested a cot for our room, which was already set up – such a thoughtful touch that made things so much easier for us as a family with a young baby.

The hotel’s lobby is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and modern atmosphere. We also really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast – the food was excellent, with great quality and flavour.

One thing we really appreciated was the live music in the evening – it had a calm and inviting feel, perfect for a weekend stay. And despite the entertainment downstairs, our room was peaceful and quiet, which was a huge plus with a baby.

Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the Haslem Hotel. It’s a great choice for families and couples looking for comfort, style, and great service.

Really lovely hotel. We wanted something close to Belfast and this was perfect with a 10 minute walk to Lisburn train station. The rooms & especially the shower were gorgeous. Only disappointment was the breakfast, I would probably just recommend going to one of the nearby cafés. Otherwise we loved our stay and will be back!

Great experience

I was staying for one night for work. As a lone female travelling, I was impressed with the effort the reception team went to to make sure my taxis and travel arrangements were smooth. Full credit to them. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location for what I needed. If I'm back in the area this is the place I'll definitely book. Thanks Haslem team.

From beginning to end our stay here was fantastic. From the big William welcome who could not do enough, to the gym, the massive TV and the delicious food and wine. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at Haslem Hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. The breakfast was lovely. Lisburn is a quiet area outside of Belfast with a quick train into the city. It was nice to have a quiet retreat at the end of our days exploring. The hotel was a great base for us with our rental car to Derry and the Giant's Causeway as well. The area has lots of pubs, coffee shops, convenience stores and groceries. There is a cinema across the street. I would book this hotel again if I return to Belfast.

Great hotel and convenient to transport hub.
Staff were some of the most helpful and friendliest I’ve ever been greeted by. Very spacious bedroom and I had a wonderful comfortable sleep. Buffet breakfast was delicious with good choices of hot and cold food/drinks. Lovely spacious bar area and great that they had live music lined up for the weekend whilst we were there.
Definitely recommend The Haslem!

Really lovely hotel in Lisburn

Haslem is an absolutely beautiful hotel, our room was really nice with everything we needed including a fridge. For breakfast there were the usual offerings of scrambled eggs, bacon etc. and the cold section had yoghurts, cold meat, cheese etc. We didn’t drink in the bar but on our arrival it was buzzing with entertainment going on, the bar area is stunning. The hotel/bar/restaurant is a total vibe and a brilliant addidtion to Lisburn Square .

Wonderful stay in a great hotel

This is the cleanest, tidiest and most well maintained hotel I’ve stayed in in this country.
Check in was such a wonderful welcome with William going out of his way to make sure we had everything and all the info for our stay.
The room was immaculate and so well maintained even down to bits that others have forgotten like the sealant round the wash hand basin - I cannot fault this hotel at all
