Comfortable and clean room in a pleasant hotel just a short walk south of Donegall Sq. Situated in Dublin Rd, it is close of the main bus routes and roads to the city centre

Whilst the room was a reasonable size, it doesn't have a table or chair and the bathroom sink is in a corner of the room. However the toilet and shower are in separate amenities.

Staff were available at all times to answer any questions and they provided a good service. Wi-fi was pretty good as well

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable but the room was very basic, with the shower and sink in the bedroom and only the toilet properly separated. There wasn't a kettle which I haven't ever experienced in a hotel or guesthouse before!

The ibis budget is the definition of a budget hotel. You get a bed, a shower and a toilet, with just enough room to walk around the bed. Not much space for luggage or to hang clothes, no extras like a kettle and coffee/tea. That said it's a good location within 10-15 minute walk to both Belfast Grand Central and Donegall Square. It's comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep at a relatively cheap price.

It's in an area close to the city centre but there's a lot of building work going on so it was pretty noisy.
The room I was in was a bit battered- the tiles around the bathroom were cracked and things didn't look clean but thankfully the bed linen itself was.
The staff I encountered were nice. Check in was smooth. The coffee from the machine was ok at ridiculous o'clock. Staff called me a taxi early in the morning. I can't comment on the breakfast as I had to leave before it was served.
The main reason my score is poor is because I was close to the floor fire door which was so much in need of oil that the noise of it frequently opening drove me crazy while I tried to get sleep before an early flight. I thought I'd save on airport parking and get a good night's sleep before an early flight- I didn't get much sleep and I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

It very much lives up to the \"budget\" in the name. Fine for one night, but I couldn't imagine having to stay here for any longer than that. A personal bugbear of mine is plug sockets being in stupid places; my room had this. Two sockets in total, both away from the bed. There was also a weird issue with the light in the room, which meant it wouldn't turn off at the switch. I had to remove the key card, try and put it back in while it was dark and turn it off that way. Overall, it was somewhere to sleep for one night. I spent very little time there, but I couldn't imagine having to stay here for any longer than the single night I did.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is so convenient, only a kilometer to Grand Central Station and to the city centre. Breakfast buffet doesn’t have a lot of options but is plentiful and of good quality. Staff are friendly and were helpful when I had a question.

Good location as i was arriving by train, Grand Central station only a short walk away, less than 10 minutes, also close to city hall, with a multitude of bars, shops and restaurants in the heart of the city, it was slso very close to tour puck up points, as i was doing full day tours during my stay, might seem pricey for a budget hotel, but remember Ireland is quite expensive in general, so although i could get a 4star hotel in the UK for the price, you certainly won't in Belfast city, the room was quite small, but not a problem as i was out all day, justed needed a place that was convenient and close enough to where i needed to be, which it was, bed as very comfortable and staff very friendly and provided great service, would recommended the hotel

Privacy was limited as you can hear/smell whatever someone is doing in the toilet since it had a gap at the bottom, it was hanging off the hinges anyway so wouldn’t of shut properly and didn’t have a lock.

It is an IBIS budget so the facilities are limited. The location is excellent for transport links and the city centre.
The cleanliness was ok…but not great. Staff were a bit blasé. I appreciate you get asked the same questions but this seemed to annoy them.

The budget Ibis at Belfast was right at the heart of the city although I guess we were not the first to turn up at the the wrong central Ibis!!!
The rooms were quite basic as you would expect but includes a TV & shower/loo. The rooms could have included more hooks though.
Finally, the additional cost of breakfast could have been better. Yes, coffee/tea, juice, cereal, cold platter etc. But what about the cooked brekkies? Non, existant but strangely, there was a big metal pot of hot baked beans though!!!!

Timer light in toilet was set to 5 seconds so if you wanted a sit-down you had to keep moving about . Maybe an extra pillow could be added to the room as the one supplied was rather flat .

Couldn’t fault the service or cleaniness. The issue for me was the price. This hotel is budget in every sense, other than the price. For nearly £200 per room, per night, the facilities did not live up to this. The room we were allocated was tiny, and I did not appreciate having the shower basically built into the wall, with no space to dry or disrobe without being in the main room. This caused awkward moments where family member had to avoid their eyes or vacate the room.

Location is great, however next time if I am having to spend this sort of money, I would definitely stay elsewhere. I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

The room was great. Location very good. Small things that might be a tie-breaker next time I am in Belfast - no tea or coffee in the room. It's never free, so I am not after something for nothing. Charging for me to leave a case on my last day - nearly £600 for four nights, so I'd expect leaving a case for a couple of hours would be free. Softer furniture in the breakfast room - reminded me of a classroom. All these things are added value.

Booked 4x Twin rooms, and called up to inform the hotel of a late night arrival. The hotel informed me this was fine, but then called me back to inform me that they had overbooked and only 2x twin rooms were available. We were given two double rooms with bunkbeds instead, which was not great. Happy that we had the total rooms required but not a great experience having to sleep in a bunk bed. Expected a refund for at least one room or a gesture of some sort for the inconvenience.

Budget accommodation.

This hotel is very much a budget hotel as is indicated in the name. I had booked this room for a girl’s trip to Belfast but when we arrived I chose to add another hotel room. The shower isn’t in an enclosed room, it has a glass door that is partially frosted but which opens directly to the hotel room. If one is traveling with one’s spouse, or solo, this configuration may be fine but it becomes awkward when it’s a girls getaway.
The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was roomy.

There is no water kettle in the room. In the lobby there are two coffee machines that make a wide variety of types of drinks. The Americano and Cappuccino options are free but the other options aren’t. The cost of a continental breakfast is quite reasonable at £8 or so.

There was no trash receptacle
There were no tissues
If you want a hair dryer you must check it out at the front desk
There is no phone in the room

The hotel is fairly close to the Grand Central Train Station (3/10ths of a mile), an easy walk. There are quite a number of restaurants, bars and clubs within a block or two. There is a Tesco market across the street.

This is a very reasonably-priced hotel in Centre of city. Close to some traditional pubs which were great for a nightcap.
£7 for decent breakfast. Rooms small but absolutely fine for price and comfort.
We arrived late evening and left 8am next day so just parked on street,and avoided parking charges.

The hotel is located fairly centrally in Belfast, not far from Grand Central Station, and a reasonable walk to the centre of the city.

The staff are friendly, and the buffet breakfast did the job. Overall the rooms have good soundproofing, and you wouldn't realise how busy it is.

It is very much a budget hotel, and the common area, where the buffet breakfast is located, can get a bit noisy. The decor is starting to get a little tired.

This hotel is awful. The rooms are small not ensuite. You get a silly small washbasin in the bedroom area which it is virtually impossible to use without splashing water on the floor. A shower cubicle, a separate toilet cubicle with no washing facility, not quite closed by a flimsy magnetic catch panel. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. These are in lobby served in small china cups - so if you want a late night or first thing cuppa and you are on the 6th Floor - hopeless. Only 2 pillows in double room when we asked for extra told they had no pillow cases so could not have one. It is not cheap, you could stay in much nicer Travelodge for similar money. It is central and there is a nearby car park, but it is so bad I am going to seek refund.

Pleasantly surprised. Wonderful and helpful, friendly staff. The room was spacious, clean, heat pump, and the shower was wonderful. Popping downstairs in the morning and grabbing a cup of tea or a cup of coffee before heading out was handy. It is conveniently located near a bus stop, restaurants and walking distance to Belfast city center. I would definetly stay again if I was in the area again.

There was no bathroom - shower was in bedroom and toilet was in a closet-like area behind a door. There was no refrigerator, safe, or closet, and no counter space for any essentials. The television did not work as all we received were news channels, and different channels worked each time we put on the tv. The breakfast \"buffet\" was two types of pastries and cold cereals.
