We had a wonderful stay at Maldron Hotel Belfast. The hotel was clean, tidy, and well maintained, with all the facilities in good working order. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city.
A special thank you to Marcus at the front desk. He was incredibly kind, warm, and funny. When we were trying to check in using the self-service machine and it wasn’t working properly, Marcus stepped in right away and helped us complete the check-in smoothly. His thoughtful service made a big difference after a tiring journey, and he genuinely improved our impression of Belfast as a whole.

Fantastic city centre hotel. I got checked in at 11am which was great to drop my bags before heading to a meeting.

Room was big and very clean. I got clean towels and refreshed on my second night which was a lovely touch, albeit not required.

I would have no hesitation of booking her again for future work trips.

Upon checking in there is no pull out to park to unload your suitcases. Parking is $38 pounds a day and I complained about the smell of smoke in our hall way that lingered into our room! I found front desk less than helpful and they did not provide me with the VIP perk upon check-in for 20% off parking and food & drinks. Beds were comfortable but our very small triple room with the smoke smell constantly was more than a turn off. Would not stay here again & area a bit sketchy.

It is a lovely hotel. Check-in wasn’t as straightforward as one would have hoped, and the self-service pod didn’t work correctly, meaning we had to visit reception. Initially, it felt like an inconvenience, but the receptionist quickly discovered there was a problem with the system. If you’re going to rely on technology, it needs to work properly, and guests shouldn’t automatically be made to feel that the issue is their fault.

Otherwise, our stay was pleasant. I wasn’t overly impressed with the steak, which was significantly overcooked and rather heavily seasoned for my taste.

That said, the hotel itself is attractive, comfortable, and staffed by people who were helpful when issues arose. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.

I booked this hotel at short notice following a flight cancellation. The room was tastefully decorated and spacious. I was initially delighted to be allocated a room on the 12th floor; however, the view was largely obscured by a taller office building directly opposite, so there was little to see from the window.

The bed was very comfortable, with soft bed linen, effective air conditioning, and blackout curtains that helped create a pleasant sleeping environment. One downside was the noise during the night. Although I could not determine its source, it was surprisingly loud and remained noticeable even through earplugs, which unfortunately affected my sleep quality.

The bathroom is spacious with lovely soft towels. However, the shower screen was too short, which resulted in water splashing across much of the bathroom floor.

Tea, coffee, and complimentary biscuits were provided, which was a nice touch, although there was no fridge or minibar in the room.

Good breakfast with some local specialities. The selection was extensive, with a wide variety of hot and cold options catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.

The room was very nice, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location was an easy 10 minute walk from the train/bus station and 5 minute walk to City Hall. We loved the food selection in the area and felt very central to all of the tourist things we wanted to do. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is good as it’s just a few minutes away from city hall Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was not clean. The shower contained stains on the shower floor and on the walls.
The one time the room was cleaned, it was not done properly. We just got new towels and garbage was taken out. That’s it. For the price I’d have expected at least a clean room.

Nothing special. Just a basic room. Didn’t appreciate having to go to the lobby in the morning to wait to fill out a waiver form and receive a second key just to use the (very basic) gym on the first floor. There’s no parking on site. Instead there’s a map provided for a five minute drive (many one-way streets) to a public parcade. They do validate to cover part of the 24 pounds per day cost. Ask staff a few times for help as we were new to the area and each time received a lukewarm response. Checkout was easy.

All the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately at breakfast there was only scrambled egg in the buffet which did not look very appetising. You had to ask someone for fried eggs and then wait for them to be brought out. Good selection of cereal, bread, yogurts etc. In the bedroom there were only about 6 hangers, nowhere at all to hang wet coats. There could easily have been a few hooks on the wall by the door. No chest of drawers and only one chair provided in a double room.

Same as other Maldron hotels in terms of comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast a little better than the one in Dublin, but not cooked particularly well. Staff nice. However, the problem with this hotel is that if on floor 2 (I can’t speak about any other floor) as soon as someone runs hot water it’s like a fog horn is going off, which is particularly annoying when it happens late into the night and early in the morning as it did on one of our nights. I complained (never done this before) and nothing happened - they didn’t even feedback. When I mentioned it again they took some details and said they’d get back to me - they haven’t. Bad nights sleep, overpriced and poor customer service.

The staff was sensational! We flew in from the United States and they were able to get us an early check in (about 4 hours early). Sooo helpful and nice! Room was a little smaller than expected but was still comfortable. Excellent location! Hated they did not have any parking but they referred us to a parking garage that was a short walking distance. Room service is a limited menu, especially after 9pm.

Bedrooms and bathroom was spotless. All staff were very friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Late check out was added to our stay with no problem. Breakfast was nice and after checkout we were able to store our luggage away in hotel lobby so we could enjoy the rest of our day out, and collected it again before leaving Belfast. Definitely will be returning here for many more stays.
