The hotel was very nice. The staff were very welcoming and cheerful. Food was great and plentiful. My room was very spacious and clean - the only minor criticism is that the room was cold and took forever to get warm because they have an air conditioning system to regulate the temperature. Apart from that I would definitely stay there again - maybe not in the winter months!

The reception area is magnificent! It's clean, it has stylish furniture, the staff on arrival were very pleasant, warm and inviting. Check-in was a breeze. We decided to have food at the on site restaurant, Pomo. This as well was really good! We had the steak and it was cooked exactly to order. Staff there at Pomo were just as friendly as the hotel staff.
The room itself was clean, great layout, the bed was comfortable. Checking out was just as easy as checking in, with a day of exploring we were able to leave our bags at the hotel and collect them later.
Would definitely stay here again if in Belfast again!

Room ok, bathroom could be better, poor pressure drom the shower. Housekeeping could be improved, I stayed for four nights, first day my bed was made, towels replaced and complimentary water topped up. The following day I opted to leave the hanger on my door, to leave room, but replace towels. The towels were not replaced. The following day I was out until 3pm, left hanger on the door to say please make up room. I arrived back at 3pm, room not made up. I listened outvfor housekeeping and caught a lady in the corridor, i asked for replacement towels which i received. So for a four night stay my room was made up once, towels replaced twice.

The room was fairly basic for a 4 Star hotel and didn’t smell particularly good. Hallways leading to the room were not particularly appealing. Toiletries were also very basic and no vanity kit or shower cap was provided. The Reception staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good.

The room was lovely and very clean. I had left a concert t-shirt behind and was convinced I had left it in the room we had stayed. Kerry, the receptionist was very helpful, and the staff looked for my t-shirt and found it for me…..left it in the bar!! They rang me to tell me they had found it, but the fact they had searched for it, says a lot about the staff. Thankyou!!

Really nice hotel, staff on reception were lovely, bed was incredibly comfortable and only a short walk from the centre which was ideal (and really close to the famous markets which was a plus in the mornings)
Only downfall would be the water pressure in the shower, it was impossible to wash hair in unless you had all day the water was dripping from the shower head rather than a stream of water but that’s the only thing that let the place down

Breakfast menu was excellent.
In addition there was a hot breakfast menu on the table if you wanted something different, pancakes or omelette or eggs Benedict.
Staff were welcoming.
The hotel is a lovely building, decor is good.
Bar had good selection of drinks. Bar staff should clear dirty tables more often, and please remove the dead succulents from the top shelf of the bar. It's pointless having plants that you don't bother to water.

Positive points:
Great location, walking distance to the city centre and touristic points, great potential.
Negative points:
No fridge in the bedroom, low cleaning standards for a 4 star rating hotel, low pressure in the bath shower, no complimentary hygiene accessories provided ( ex. Shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste, bath robe) room not cleaned even when asked, only towels and coffee replaced.
Not enough hangers, lights in the bathroom kept flicking, not isolated windows.
Overall, there is a low cleanliness standard throughout the hotel, including breakfast area and the reception, including the public toilets.
Guests parking fee of £14, in the city we could find for £10 midweek.
First impression when you walk into the hotel reception, feels like the priority its for hosting the conference guests and not the hotel guests.

We had an excellent 3 night stay at the Voco Belfast. The level of customer service was exemplary. Particularly from Marc on reception, Eugen, Sharmin and Dagmar in the restaurant, who all made our stay something very special. We will certainly return here again.

So this hotel was convenient, it’s about a 20 minute walk from the city centre and about 15-20 minute walk to Queen’s University. Our room was okay. The beds weren’t very comfortable and you don’t sink into them but that could be a UK thing. There is no fridge in the room which was a little shocking so that is something to keep in mind if traveling with medication that may need to be refrigerated or food items, etc. the tub was quite high and the partial glass moves so you need to be careful when taking a shower. The hotel does provide a shower mat to reduce the chance of slipping but it was a bit of a hazard. At one point during our stay when you flushed the toilet it was brown water coming out. We were very confused as we had been out all day but when we called down the staff mentioned they had received a lot of complaints. The water stained the toilet and had us a bit concerned if we could use the shower or the sink. The staff were very friendly, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. We paid the extra for breakfast and it was a buffet style. It was convenient but it was the same thing everyday, great for weekend trips but long stays breakfast may not be worth it. They do have a really cool program that if you do not get house keeping to clean your room you will get a £5 voucher, they vouchers can be stacked and used at the restaurant. House keeping straighten the room up when a sign is on the door and reception will send someone up if they miss the room

Generally had a good stay for 4 nights, the price was very good and included breakfast. Choice of breakfast items was very good, however could use some more fresh vegetables. Location is somewhat remote from city centre, still walkable, but located in the middle of office complex, so there isn't anything like shops or restaurants immediately close by. Bus stops are also about 10 min walk. Plus it was very quiet. No free parking. The hotel has taken over from Radisson at the same location. When we checked in, the fuse went out in the room and there was no power, fortunately front desk was able to resolve that issue. Room was nicely refurbished, unfortunately you can see the bathroom has not been, they only painted the doors and frames. The silicone shower seal was missing on the glass panel at the shower so the shower was flooding the floor. My personal pet peeve is when you can't turn on the shower without getting wet - here it was also the case. The silicone seals could also use updating, as there was some black mould in the areas under the tap. The housekeeping has also not cleaned the kettle before the check-in in as someone tried to boil some coffee directly in the kettle. The fault of the supervisor for not checking. We had to ask twice, as the kettle also stopped working. Complimentary sweets at the arrival were nice. Overall not quite as premium experience as expected but good value for money

Light not working, things dirty, broken drawers and shower didn't get hotter than about half way on controls but taps were very hot. Reported to staff who were very apologetic. Didn't spoil my stay but simple things that shouldn't have happened.

Brilliant location!! Easy parking and lovely room. Beds were super comfy.
Special mention of exceptional service to James in maintenance department, Cane in the bar and Sharman in the restaurant.
Our tv wasn’t working in our first room so we were upgraded to another room for our 6 day stay. Was much appreciated.
Small criticism was the breakfast buffet was a bit untidy and poorly replenished at times.
We will definitely be back and will recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Belfast.

Amazing place to stay. Bathroom was terrific with great water pressure and very hot water. The room was very nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. They helped with laundry and a taxi. The front desk truly cares about the guest and spends time with each to be sure they’re good. Location is about 10 minutes away from everything.

Lovely hotel in a convenient place if you don’t mind a bit of a walk. Parking is expensive but it suited us well for our stay to just forget the car in a safe place. I could be really picky about tiny details like the stupid position of the soap over the bath and the height of the shaving mirror but generally it is excellent. Helpful, friendly staff and we really enjoyed the food at both breakfast and dinner.

Staff were very helpful throughout our 4 night stay. Room looked a little worn, bathroom definitely needs an upgrade.
The only downside was on two occasions we were woken up around 6:40/ 7:00 am from workman on the nearby building site.
Also be prepared the car parking charge for the hotel isn’t cheap!

There were some things in the room that were showing signs of wear. Specifically the window latch was loose and the bracket for the shower head was wobbly. Neither thing affected our stay and we had an excellent time. Room was of a fairly high standard and the public spaces in the hotel were exceptional.

A lovely hotel in a quiet area close enough to walk into the city centre. Very comfortable and quiet rooms. We both had great sleep so were well rested. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We were able to check in early which was great after a very early flight and the IHG rewards benefits gave us a late check out. Food in the restaurant was great and there was a great choice at breakfast. We'd stay again!
